Jon's public pokemon and companion pokemon. Like Damian, most of his pokemon are baby pokemon (No aging-up here).

Sprout: Sunkern caught when visiting his grandparents and Kon in Smallville.

Clarabelle: A Shiny Miltank Jon is raising for 4-H Stockshows and will be dethrone Bess as the pokemon with the most blue ribbons.

Bucko: Tauros and Clarabelle's mate.

Baarney: Jon's Wooloo is currently being raised on the Lane-Kent mini-farm. Not yet show ready.

Sticky: The Applin Jon was given by his parents for his tenth birthday that was bred from their Appletun pair. Will soon evolve into a Dipplin once he's got the perfect syrupy apple.

Babe: Jon's shiny Lechonk bred from his parents' Oinkologne pair.

Bill: Psyduck that took a liking to Jon and is now his buddy. Will refuse to evolve because of trauma caused by Golducks.

Princess: Combee (Female) from his mother's hive. Will one day takeover the hive from his mom's Vespiquen.

Superboy's pokemon. Like the rest of his family, he doesn't need many pokemon for combat help outside of dealing with other pokemon, but they join him regardless.

Twitch: A pachirisu that Jon rescued as Superboy from a forest fire. Has been by his side since.

Bristle: Woobat caught after he and Damian became best friends. It represents both Damian and Dick for him. His best friend and the hero he looks up to most outside his family.

Peanut: Dratini caught at the fortress.

Chip: Togepi and the pokemon most comforting to civilians.

I'm back! I just finished my first Scarlet playthrough and wanted to share my team's names :)

I picked Quaxly as my starter this time and named him Quill (bird Pokémon, quills are feathers)

Nyx the Lokix (Greek goddess of night)

Rogue the Armarouge (in Cyberpunk 2077 there's a character named Rogue who also wears a yellow shirt a lot and my brain went ! perfect!)

Titania the former Titan Great Tusk (A Midsummer Night's Dream)

Myrddin the Baxcalibur (Excalibur was King Arthur's sword so I wanted something Arthurian and Myrddin is Welsh for Merlin)

Chrystal the Glimmora (ngl I saw an ask here about someone naming their Glimmora something similar and went 'thats a neat name yoink')

Honourable mentions this time are for Miss Piggy the shiny female Oinkologne (I couldn't not) and Kermit the Bellibolt (can't have Miss Piggy without her Kermit) who both ended up getting benched halfway through

plus Millie the Breloom for catching Pokémon/putting a serious dent in the Chansey/Blissey population (iykyk, sorry ladies)(went with Millie cause Breloom->Moolerb->Moo->Moo Moo Milk->Miltank->Millie)

Meet Porkchop my shiny Lechonk (Or for Japanese fans Gourton). I don't know which form they'll evolve into since Porkchop is a transgender Pokemon (A rare occurance). Nature is Impish (+Defense -Special Attack and Loves Sour foods but hates Dry foods).

Moves as Lechonk are Body Slam, Knock Off, Yawn and Protect

Moves are the same as Male Oinkologne (Or for Japanese fans Perfuton)

Female however is Body Slam, Play Rough, Yawn and Protect

finally went and hunted lechonk 😭😭😭 I’ve been wanting one for so long. and the gag is I find him (his name is Bacon Bit) literally 30 seconds into the outbreak. but the problem is, I wanted a female Oinkologne :(

so I went and found another one! This is Piggie James, and she is actually larger than Bacon Bit!

and she is very sleepy, especially after a walk in Mesagoza.

when you shiny hunt for mons with aesthetic gender differences, like butterfree or sneasel, do you try getting one of each?

I havent really gone after any with a gender difference.

On whether I would hunt for both it'd depend on how distinct the difference is and what game Im hunting in

A pokemon like sneasel I probably would be fine with one since the only difference is the ear length

Guys like Oinkologne and Meowstic I could see myself hunting for both

A mid-way difference like Wobbuffet and Heracross are up in the air. If I got a shiny Male Wobbuffet first I would probably go for the female as well, but am not sure about vice-versa

Jokes aside, it's been fixed, male oinkologne was the only result I got for shiny female oinkologne but I guess Google images hates women 😔

My Camerupt outbreak was in a really good spot for standing on a cliff and walking a few feet away to reset, so I actually found a shiny without a sandwich. Then I got Squawkabilly and Lechonk in the same sandwich. I found both of them within 15 minutes and there was also an outbreak of Oinkologne, so I attempted the fabled triple whammy. Keyword "attempted".

Until the Indigo Disk comes out in 2 weeks, I'm not sure if there's any shiny I'm *after*. I think triple segment Dudunsparce is a little too advanced for someone without the shiny charm, I'm more of a "one and done" kind of guy, not an "Inception levels of roulette spins" one. That's why female Salandit was my hardest hunt. Technically I never even completed it because a Salazzle was shiny before a shiny Salandit was female. It hurt to have to soft reset away males, but I needed to add a clause to my rules so I wouldn't end up with an entire box of them. I didn't fail a single one, I simply don't have most of them.
