Ahem, sooo, it has been a long while since I did one of these. So yeah it was about time I brought it back. Anywho, here are the blogs I chose to include. yeah i missed a couple days posting...the sketches were terrible. but since werewolf by night got a trailer, why not revamp my pastiche. Wallace Shikadance is still on PALADIN and still cursed, but the frustrations about that are growing.

Ace Ventura: Pet Detective (1994) dir. Tom Shadyac. 7.1/10

Ace with animals is giving me a Cinderella type of vibe.

I would’ve never considered that Courteney Cox would be Jim Carrey’s love interest in a movie.

People who belittle others are bitches. Those who are belittled and can still undermine the belittlers are amazing.

Spoiler: [About Ace Ventura delivering a package labeled fragile after damaging it. He has the man sign for it as Ace pets the man’s dog. When the man yells at the dog later, he learns that his dog was replaced with a doll. Ace takes the dog into his car and his car stalls. The man breaks his windshield and Ace manages to start the car and get away. He returns the dog to a woman who had lost her dog. Men dive into a tank and steal a dolphin. Mr. Shickadance catches Ace and requests him to pay rent and says he doesn’t want pets in the home. Ace says he doesn’t bring his work home and after he catches a bird worth a lot, he’ll pay the rent. Shikadance enters the home, because he’s heard the animals, but everything looks clean and clear. When Shikadance leaves, Ace calls out all his animals. The Miami Dolphins are playing in the Super Bowl in 2 weeks, but the dolphin, Snowflake, is now gone. Melissa Robinson is the publicist and she works with Roger Podacter to find the dolphin by working with the Police Department. They hear from Martha that she worked with a pet detective. Ace fails to catch the bird, but later agrees to work to find the dolphin. Melissa shows him footage of Snowflake. Ace investigates the football field and the tank as Roger and Melissa deal with reporters showing up. Ace finds a gem in the filter from a ‘84 AFC Championship ring. He goes to the police to report it even though the police insult him and don’t take him seriously as a detective. Lieutenant Lois Einhorn also hates him. Ace goes to a rock concert and meets his friend, Woodstock, to figure out who has been gathering supplies to house a dolphin. He suspects Ronald Camp, a rich man collecting rare animals. Melissa is his date as they attend Camp’s party. Ace excuses himself by going into the restroom. He escapes through the window and finds a tank. He tries getting Snowflake until he falls in and discovers that it’s a shark. He escapes and comes back through the restroom and blames the plumbing for his appearance. Melissa is upset with him afterwards until he reveals what he knows about the gem. He finds a picture of those who own the ring and go in search of one who has the ring, but with a gem missing. He tracks them down, but keeps finding the rings to have all the gems. He talks about it with Melissa until they learn that Roger died from falling off a building. They head to the crime scene and it’s deemed a suicide until Ace reveals a soundproof door that confirms that he’s been murdered. A neighbor had claimed she heard the scream from across the hall, but it’s impossible since the scream couldn’t have been heard past the door. The door had to be closed afterwards. Melissa is now impressed by him. They talk after as they bond. Ace learns from Melissa that the football team actually consisted of one more person that showed up later in the season, but has the ring. It’s Ray Finkle, who had failed the team with a bad kick. Melissa and Ace have sex that night. Ace visits Finkle’s home and poses as a fan to talk with the parents. He learns that Finkle has been in an institution until he escaped. He also visits Finkle’s room and learns that Finkle believes the football had the laces in from being set wrongfully by Dan Marino. It caused the bad kick. He holds a grudge against Marino and the room shows the craze around that thought. Ace calls Melissa to get the police to protect Dan. Dan is in the middle of a commercial until some men kidnap him. They were in the guise of other people in the commercial. Ace reports everything he knows to Einhorn and she kisses him. They make out until Ace says that she isn’t doing anything for him. Melissa has Ace admitted to Shady Acres as a disturbed brother. He goes to investigate Finkle through his belongings while Melissa distracts the doctor. Ace finds a newspaper article about a lost hiked named Lois Einhorn. Ace’s friend, Emilio, in the police department helps him. He finds a clue of a letter between Lois and Roger, revealing a possible relationship. Ace tries to figure out the relationship between Einhorn

and Finkle. When he sees his dog’s hair on top of the picture of Finkle, he realizes that Finkle is Einhorn. He cleans himself after realizing he had kissed Einhorn. He pursues her to a yacht storage facility. She has Marino kidnapped with some criminal helpers. Einhorn subtly tries to see if Marino recognizes her, but he doesn’t. When Ace tries saving Marino, he is put at gunpoint by Einhorn. The cops arrive after hearing from Einhorn that Ace is the one who kidnapped Marino. Emilio and Melissa arrive too. Ace fights Melissa until the cops arrive. She wants them to shoot Ace and he tries to convince them that she used to be a man. He pulls on her hair, but it’s not a wig. He strips her of her shirt to reveal boobs. He takes off her skirt and it reveals no dick. Marino talks to Ace and Ace reveals to everyone a tucked dick from the back. He reveals that Einhorn took over the identity of the hiker and took over the police department. Roger was killed for having discovered her identity. At the Super Bowl, Ace finds the bird and it flies away as the Eagle mascot shoos it away. Ace fights the mascot and is shown on camera for having saved Snowflake.]
