my best guess for a timeline is that vi will join cait after the initial attack where she'll become an enforcer (meanwhile jinx and sevika will team up in the undercity), then she'll fight jinx the first time then she'll quit-- she can't handle the pressure-- she'll do her emo fighter thing (sevika will get her makeover and jinx will go into hiding-- she cuts her hair and dyes it purple to disguise herself??), and then after a timeskip when vi's hair is long it'll be the final fight of (i'm hoping??) zaun and piltover uniting against noxus (which is when we see sevika in a crowd looking at the sky?)

SPEAKING of noxus-- ambessa just looks so fucking powerful and cool in all her outfits. the hair disc crown she wears is SO cool, the weights on the end of her braids when she's in combat so that her braids act as little weapons too?!?!!? just incredible character design she's so intimidating and badass and her SWORD IS SO COOL

she's like silco: i'm not rooting for her, and i know that her character is The Bad Guy this season, but i just can't help but be excited every time she's on screen.

on a side note..... what are we thinking on the mel front?? mel. please be alive girl ur mom is out here going apeshit and starting wars, we need u baby. please be alive.

singed's "you've found it, haven't you?" was CHILLING. i'm really excited for the singed/vander/warwick storyline. i'm hoping to watch singed and viktor interact too, since viktor is back in the undercity.

(speaking of viktor-- i'm so curious as to why he and jayce haven't been shown yet. it could very well be that they're the main players in act 3 and are what start the big final fight with noxus... but idk.)

they keep showing the arcane ('the arcane is waking up' lol) and i wonder if maybe viktor and the arcane have merged in some way. i remember in season 1 viktor said a bunch of sciency shit that was basically like-- the arcane is connected to me, i am connected to it, because he gave it his blood or something?? idk it's just so interesting to try to figure out what's happening there.

i am so excited to watch that fight. i know the producers said everyone's gonna be an opposite of who they were in season 1, and my bet is that that means in this specific fight it'll be caitlyn vs. sev-- sevika's about to kill her when someone saves cait with a lucky shot (aka the explosion) just like she saved vi from sevika in season 1. who saves her tho? jinx on accident or vi on purpose? or is it just a coincidence?

caitlyn just looks so tired this season. gonna be sad that we don't have naive slightly awkward sweetheart caitlyn anymore.

i know that the character that's gonna piss me off the most will be caitlyn. i'm thinking that ambessa and cait's shared grief over their respective losses will make cait vulnerable to ambessa's influence. i'm guessing act 3 starts when caitlyn realizes what she has allowed to happen in letting ambessa start a war, and she finds vi and they reunite to save the city from noxus?? who knows. but i know i will be tearing my hair out watching cait kill herself for revenge she's never going to get.

(completely unrelated rant: this would be a caitlyn stan blog if she wasn't a fucking cop. i get that that's her whole character, but come ON. she wanted to help people and piss her parents off and turn her back on her wealth, i get it, she couldn't've become a fucking teacher or something!?!? sorry, the lesbian cop trope just pisses me off so fucking bad.)

me personally, i'll be watching the episodes as they come out! i think it'll just be easier for me that way-- i won't have to avoid tumblr for half a month, and for me half the fun of watching a show is watching it as it airs out so me and all the little gay people in my phone can talk about it hehehehe

HARD agree on the fullmetal alchemist. God after seeing so many shonen anime butcher females it was such a breath of fresh air to watch Winty and Riza kick some serious butt. I am also watching Jujutsu Kaisen atm and they're doing really well with the females too and I hope it keeps up!!

Also mannn I relate to the to watch list so much!! I got into a new anime, (bungou stray dogs, it's a seinen show) earlier this year and I've just. It's taken over my brain and it's the only "new" show I've watched this year besides keeping up with jujutsu. I've watched madoka magica, death note as well and they're some of my absolute favourites too!!

I could write an entire essay on this, but the thing I love about how fmab writes women is how nuanced they are. they're not just #girlboss but there's a variety of what they're like and who they are. riza has a really complex moral nuance to her with the way she's trying to atone for her war crimes through the way she supports mustang and the personal connection she feels both for her own actions during the war and what mustang did as a result of her own father's work that's quite literally branded onto her back just- fuck I'm rambling already

and winry!! she's independent and has her own life and career and is a genius in her own right with automail but she also holds so many stereotypically feminine traits that aren't shown as a weakness whatsoever. she represents home for the brothers. she tries to kill the man who killed her parents and can't bring herself to do it, and ed tells her her hands were made to create and heal not kill. she helps delivery a baby and that is shown as something incredible.

then even with the stereotypical 'girlboss' characters you get nuance. olivier is an ice cold badass but she holds onto what she thinks is right and protects the soldiers under her command and uses the expectations men have of women to her advantage. and izumi is badass and harsh but also she committed alchemy's greatest taboo just for the chance to be a mother and she's not weak for that. she's not weak for wanting to be a mother, and she proudly declares to anyone around her that she's a housewife right before beating their ass to a pulp.

I’ll be honest and like I’m only on s2 so idk if it’s early for me to write off the Lego knights but like their characters are so woefully 1 dimensional holy hell. They have a lot of potential and sorry idk if I’m offending anyone here but nexo fandom? I’m stealing all your knights and revamping them bc I’m crazy (and it will be fun)

Edit: this is an opinion. Anyone’s free to disagree. You’re still valid if you think these characters are well written. This was not meant to be an attack on anyone. This is how I in general enjoy consuming content. By analysing critically and reconstructing canon into my own fanon specifically for my own entertainment. It’s not serious. It’s not a jab at anyone. And I still enjoy the show even if it’s badly written. Like someone said in the comments, it’s actually sometimes a good thing to watch shows that don’t have as much writing quality.

I believe John Thornton of North and South (spoiler alert) is the most beautifully masculine character ever written in English literature.

Why? Here's why (caution: love ahead, may fall in)

As everyone expects him to be, he seems to be - at first- the hard, icy arrogant businessman indifferent to other's feelings and situations more importantly those below him.

Surprisingly he is damn soft hearty (like the paws of a kitten) who loves his hard tiring life of Milton (a dirty city) and *is* considerate of his workers. He meets Margaret Hale and instantly has a crush on her. He's like, 'shut up, I don't . I am NOT feeling anything like that.' But his mother knows better.

He sees her at the dinner (ahem, organize it for the sole purpose). And gawwdd, he has to stop staring at her, so he ignores her but knows where she is all the time. He flashes his rare smiles knowing she's watching him. Before anything, he is in love with her, despite knowing she's too proud to love him back.

He accepts his love for her when she throws herself in the face of danger to protect him (he's like girl!! you're badass!!) . Now there's no going back. He's grateful for her and truly appreciates her presence in his life.

Without beating around the bush, he goes and confesses (everything. Also the fact that he's never been in love and you made me). Of course she rejected, cuz she's a proud bitch. But you know what he says? This:

"Now I love and I will love. But do not be afraid of too much expression on my part."

He goes away and she catches hints of tears in his eyes. Of course he cried. He did, he went to mamma and when she asks what's up? He crys on her shoulder. A GROWN MAN WHO'S RICH SUCCESSFUL AND HANDSOME CRIES ON HIS MOTHER'S SHOULDER BECAUSE THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE REJECTED HIM!!!!!

He still loves her, he promised he always will. Looks after her family, saves her from humiliation, does her father's funeral and keep in touch with her godfather to know if she's well. He also goes to her hometown to feel how she might have grown up.

The last scenes they finally get together, he presents her a pressed flower from her hometown know she terribly misses going there. Omgggg!!!!!!!! How can anyone write such a beautiful character?????

- some parts are really Not Great, like the one fat character being associated with food and being nice i know it's more complex than that i just dont got words rn, really everything about how ricky was treated although ig that was acknowledged? like in the actual performance it was a stated thing but also even on stage he was always in the back or on his own and yeah ppl really mistreated him, and like. ukranian alcoholic need i say more. also noel being implied to have catfished him? like idk if anyone else interpreted it that way but noel being so adamant that mischa not know what would have happened had him and talia met but also i feel like noel would have said something at some point about it? also he's absolutely just Like That so theres also a solid chance that he really just was looking out for mischa T_T man idk that probs could have been it's own bullet point anyway tldr gay man potentially catfishing or me looking into things 2 much again. idfk.

The more I think about your recent post about the changes you made to Strahd, the more I wonder about those changes you made to the others mentioned (Rahadin, Van Richten, Ireena, etc). I'd absolutely love to hear what adjustments you made as you already shared some stellar ideas already. Like the Tome? -Chef kiss- Amazing.

Oh mannn I do love talking about my campaign. I changed a lot with them. Again, weirdly enough, I think Strahd wound up being the most like his original incarnation. I could talk forever about the changes I made so I'll try to be brief haha. IT STILL WON'T BE BRIEF.

Obvious CoS spoilers below

IREENA - I thought it was weird that the picture they gave her makes her look like such a badass, and then the module just kind of writes her as a damsel in distress to either get kidnapped or pulled into water or dumped somewhere. To me, she's like, the second most important character in CoS -- and the book literally gives you less direction to roleplay her than her brother. Furthermore, reading her ending actually legit made me mad.

So I said fuck all that. Ireena in my game was a 19-year old girl who grew and developed over the course of the campaign. Several of my players actually said they thought of her as "the main character," just because she experienced a lot of character growth and development, going from a sheltered meek teenager to someone who can fight and assert herself. The biggest change I made to her though was that I very specifically did not just want her to be "Tatyana with memory loss." Ireena is a unique individual who happens to be partially made out of Tatyana's soul. While she shares many similarities with Tatyana, they're separate people, and part of what Ireena has to grapple with is how to live up to that. She's in the post-campaign because of that distinction -- while Sergei offered her to join him, she declined, because she wants to experience life past her twenties. I didn't get to play it out because we were kind of rushing towards the end, but I honestly envisioned a scene where she talks to the portrait of Tatyana, apologizing to her because she knows she's being selfish remaining alive.

This also brings up a unique problem in the post campaign. If Ireena dies, she ceases to exist and may not be able to be resurrected. When her soul leaves her body, it's Tatyana's again. Ireena very much wants to live. Tatyana doesn't. A resurrection has to be made with the consent of the soul, and if Tatyana declines, Ireena's just... gone. Forever.

Related: because I wasn't sure what my players would ask, and Rahadin would absolutely know this information -- there have been 18 incarnations of Tatyana, including the original. I actually have a timeline of when they were all born and how they died. The curse manifests in that they always die or are killed before their 25th birthday. If Strahd attempts to marry them, they lose their minds and throw themselves off of the same balcony the original Tatyana jumped off of during the ceremony. Strahd can never have Tatyana. Vampyr will ensure of that.

But yeah, essentially: Ireena gained actual class levels; she wasn't just Tatyana with memory loss; she traveled with the party for 90% of the campaign and wasn't just a macguffin to be kidnapped/take to places; and I removed any of the "Sergei takes her into water/the sky and you never see her again" endings because I absolutely hated those.

VAN RICHTEN - Van Richten I tweaked a lot from his original incarnation. First, I started him off as Lawful Neutral. No, game, I know you tell me he's Lawful Good, but I'm gonna have to disagree with you that "training a racist tiger to genocide an ethnic camp" falls under the spectrum of Lawful Good. Second, I changed him from cleric to artificer (alchemist). I somehow just got the impression the dude was a godless man, and so he felt more fitting to be a man of science rather than a man of the church. Third, since I wasn't sure the other dread domains were ever going to be brought into 5e I moved him out of Darkon and into another world from the outside.

His backstory was also tied more into Strahd and the campaign in general, as well as the Dark Powers. About 30 years ago, he went into the mists with his own adventuring party (that included Escher) to try to rescue his kidnapped son, Erasmus. He found his son half-turned and begging him for death. Killing him, Van Richten hunted down the Vistani woman (Ezmerelda's mother) who sold the man, and in a rage strangled her to death. This gave him a curse. Ezmerelda witnessed it happen.

He went on a warpath against vampire spawn and vistani alike, until Strahd proposed a deal to Escher. Escher lured the group to a familiar dinner date with Strahd... only for Strahd to murder all of them, including Van Richten. Van Richten was approached by a dark power -- Vaund the Evasive, and given the option to return to life in exchange for the promise that Van Richten would eventually return to Amber Temple and free him. He took it, waking up outside of Barovia. From there he became famed vampire-hunter-book-author, until in his early 50's he decided it was time to seek vengeance and fulfill his promise. He brought in his hat of disguise, came up with an alibi, and headed into Barovia as Rictavio the Great.

He was absolutely played as a much more morally grey character at the start (the party's first encounter with him rather than Rictavio was him literally torturing a dude). He softened over the course of the campaign as he grew attached to the party, until finally reaching a point in the post-campaign where he's considered Lawful Good

Also: Ezmerelda was treated more or less as his adoptive daughter. She absolutely argued against this every single time, but he even slipped up and referred to her as his daughter on a few tense occasions.

RAHADIN - Rahadin I adjusted a lot, too. A LOOOOOOT. Strahd being comically evil makes sense -- the dude is a darklord, that kind of comes with the territory. With Rahadin, I wanted him to have more motivations to his actions, because the base game actually suggests that the dude is actually capable of caring. In the base game, you can find him at Amber Temple, trying to "petition the dark god into releasing his master from his torment." He screams in grief if he finds Strahd dead. Furthermore it felt like the game glosses over the fact that the dude was adopted as Barov's son. It doesn't bother addressing how Rahadin felt about Sergei, who would in theory be his other brother. I thought a number of things suggested in his backstory were interesting, but not expanded upon in the base game. So I took it upon myself to do so.

I changed how dusk elf society was built, which affected the three major dusk elf characters. It worked off of a pretty brutal caste system, with three kings at the top overseeing all of it. Rahadin was born in a lower caste, but actually brought into the warrior caste after a member of royalty was intrigued by his stature. Rahadin worked as a general, but grew frustrated by the inefficiencies of the caste system and its inequality. He started attempting to use his influence to petition other members of nobility into changing or loosening the strict system.

Patrina caught wind of this, and viewing it as a threat to her lifestyle + viewing it as an easy way to gain brownie points with those above her... tattled on him to the three kings, spinning what he was doing as treason. Rahadin was arrested and subsequently tortured. They attempted to execute him on a breaking wheel, breaking his bones against the spokes and leaving him in the town square as an example. He wound up escaping, crawling his way out of town until he was subsequently rescued by a group of human monks. The event pretty much broke him, morally. He went to Barov soon after and sold his people out, taking a personal hand in helping annihilate the dusk elves and conquering their land. Barov was so impressed by the man's loyalty that he adopted him as his son.

Part of this was done to make a connection as to why the hell Rahadin just absolutely fuckin' hates Patrina so much (since that definitely got played up during the campaign). When thinking of Rahadin's motivations, I tried to come at it from the angle that this man was evil... but legitimately cared deeply about Strahd, Sergei, and Tatyana. He was devestated from the events of the wedding, but saw Strahd's return as a second chance. As the lone surviving witness from the wedding, he desperately wanted to help the three of them. But his own blind loyalty to Strahd and his broken moral compass prevented him from doing so.

One of my favorite little additions was a sidequest I offered to the players (they wanted to redeem Rahadin). They were requested by him to retrieve (well, "not destroy or sell") one of his most precious belongings in his office. When they get there... it turns out it's a birthday card and a worn-out old amulet from Sergei and Tatyana that he's kept after all these years. They got Ireena to read the letter to him, to help him keep going after Strahd's death.

anyway i could ramble on about changes forever but i don't want this post to get too long haha. i have. many feelings. over this campaign. maybe at some point I'll do a separate post with some of the others.

i also kinda wanna do a comic of an event from Rahadin's backstory for my players but we'll see, I might deem it "too stupid."

HOLY FLIPPIN SHIT YALLL I HAD THE BEST DREAM OF MY FUCKING LIFE BROOOO like at first it wasn't the greatest BuT the second half of the dream was when i woke up and went to go walk and had the time of my life!

So the good dream started off with these group of people in a room It was 3 guys and 3 girls. I dont know their names but that doesnt matter right now

Anyways it was

The Boss (A Guy who was like 32 but had grey hair naturally of course),

The Baby Densechick (like a 20 something year old girl who was Straight but had the LGBT loaf her like a baby but is very dense),

The Badass (A South American woman who didnt take shit from no one but was technically the mom of the place),

Le Himbono (The badass' Asian husband that was like the chillest laid back dingus dong you could meet BUT was very smart in the mechanical world),

The Gossip Grill (Shes a 18 year old that was very popular but didnt let it get to her head. She found out anything and everything like nothing and she wasnt an asshole!)

And The Soft/Smart Boio (A such loafly such Smartest boy who like didnt always get the good end of the stick. Like this man doesnt have the best of luck at all he kept trippin and shit)

Yes the dream was long and mannn i Loafed every minute of it. So the dream starts with them talking about what to do next in their operations of car designs. Like they were car mechanics but they were also fucking Spies. Not for the Government but like for the people. So like if the Gov wasn't trying to help you, you'd come to these guys. Anyways everyone knew EXCEPT for the Soft boi because he wasn't their for too long. Like even tho he wasn't supposed to know till later he found out already i don't know how but based on what the guy say later he finds out pretty early on his first week. So the team is working on the lastest model for a truck when a lady comes in asking for their services. Not trying to look suspicious in front the Soft Boi they all go to this office downstairs to discuss and shit. The Soft Boi goes and makes some tea as the boss was like "------- could you make some tea for the customer? It'll help her think of the car" while she quickly tells them her situation. It turned out some dude was following her around but when she tried to get authorities to protect her they basically called her a liar and stopped letting her call the station. Eventually she stopped seeing him but then she had gotten this weird package but she didn't want to open it by herself because she knew it from the sussy guy and her fiance was on their business trip thing. So first she wanted to open the package with them but she also wanted them to track down this guy and like y'know get him off her back.

So after that the Soft Boi comes back while their opening the package and slips on something. The Badass catches the tea but the Soft Boi ends up falling with the package. It was like this heart shaped chain thingy like this

But more detailed of course and when the Soft Boi fell on it his looked like this

But once again with more detailed. So like he was getting up and the Boss helped and the Soft boi looked at him and just went alll fucking red like ya boi was technically in a love trance but like no one knew. So they finish up with the client and everyone starts leaving but the Soft Boi tries to get the Boss to start with him so they could talk and like the Boss is like "We got cars to fix we can talk later my dude" and just like as he's about to headout the Soft Boi tells him that he knows what their actually doing (reminder this is all like confident and like blunt because he's in a trance) so the Boss and The Soft Boi end up going to the Bosses office down there and he starts asking him like "when did you find out?", "How long have you known?" "Did you know about it before you worked with us?" And like trying to make sure that he isn't y'know a spy or the CIA but he tells him the truth like "found out during the first week and no im not a spy i just found out on accident and didn't want you guys to kick him out cause i want to help people to." But then like something weird starts happening to the Soft boi and he starts telling The Boss how he liked him and all this stuff (He was with then for a while like they know alot about this dude i wanna say he's been in the business for a year but i don't actually know its never said but it feels like it y'know?)

But The Boss is like 'AYOOO WAAH??' internally of course but hes like "no your not your just high or something" but the Soft Boi is really like nailing into him that Ya boi like him and then like the dream cuts to the guys upstairs trying to find out what the charm does but end up dropping it and it breaks on the concrete. So then the dream cuts Back to the two downstairs and the Soft Boi is like "I know you try and put your boss face on but I seriously like you alot and blah blah blah because your like so cool and stuff (he didnt say this but its a summary)" And finishes it off About to say he loves him while doing that heart shaped this with his hands and shit but then like he comes back to reality and remembers what the hell he just told this man. AND HE DIDNT FUCKING MOVE HE JUST SAT THEIR LIKE 'OHHH FUCK IM FIRED BROO' So of course i was like mannn he fired bro that sucks BUT THE FUCLING BOSS LIKE KISSES HIM ON THE CHEEK AND IS LIKE "where are you going after work?" ANF THE SOFT BOI LIKE EMBARRASSED AS FUCK TELL HIM THAT HES GOIMG TO HIS MOMS (he was gonna tell her what the hell just happened) AND LIKE THE BOSS WAS JUST LIKE "I can drop you off of you want" AND LIKE THISS MAN (soft boi) JUST GOES WITH IT BECAUSE LIKE IDK HES DUMB OR SOMETHING LIKE UGHHH IM GAY AS FUCK BRO WHAT KINDA DREAM IS THIS??

AnyWAYS they head back upstairs and the Soft Boi sees that the charm was broken on the floor and puts two and two together..But like he didn't tell anyone fucking yet and instead goes and picks up the charm and starts trying to find finger prints on it. The dream then jump cuts to the group finding the Sussy dude and taking him to jail and like everything is all chill.

BUT WE AINT DONE YET nah nah my dream said *Before u wake up we givin you that good shit*

SO The Boss is taking the Soft Boi to his moms and the Soft Boi ends up telling him yknow what happened and why he was acting like that. So The Boss was like "oh..... so you dont actually like me like that?" and The Soft Boi is like "Well now i Dont know because i Felt like fireworks going off when yknow you uhhhh yknow"

SO AT THIS POINT I THOUGHT THE BOSS WAS JUST GONNA BE LIKE 'my bad my dude i didnt knoww and like were still cool so your good' BUT NO NO MY BRAIN LOAFS ME BOIIII

So The Boss goes "uhhh....we don't have to go out if you don't want to but why didn't you tell me afterwards that it wasn't actually you talking?" AND LIKE THE SOFT BOI GOES "i mean..y'know....i don't think it was an accident and i didn't want to hurt your feelings and i actually wanted to try.....y'know seeing how it goes" So like The Boss says That they can try ti see how it goes because liek he had already kissed him and shittt. So they make it to the the Moms and the Soft Boi is like "okkkk welp ill see ya later for our first date and shit like bye (yet another summary cuase im dying here) AND LIKE RIGHT BEFORE THIS DUDE LEAVES HE LIKE GIVES THE BOSS A LITTLE PECK ON THE CHEEK AND I WAS LIKE "AYOOOO BROOO LETS GOOO!"

So then it cuts again to the whole group at thus like amusement park place that was mainly a park with a really pretty bench place and UGHH IT WAS SO PRETTY BRO I HAVE TO DRAW IT MANNN

Anyways like the Married couple are like trying out the rides and shit and the Boss and the Soft Boi are like talking in the bench place and like it cuts to the Gossip Grill and the Dense Chick are like talking about how all this lovey dovey shit was crazy and how they didn't think The Boss swung that way but like they were gonna get together they were just summarizing like what the heck happened and then i woke up

I really hope that Klaus gets happier. I get the vibe that he masks his pain with humor (relatable) and alcohol. Also, the other siblings should give him more respect. Minus Diego of course. that duo is iconic and i want to see them work together in the next season

I would definitley wanna see Vanya using her powers. It's so badass everytime she uses them and I wanna see that happening. Oh, and more Sissy x Vanya

Red’s government name is Cherri Crawford, and I just liked the way it sounded! I thought it was cute! Red Widow was given to her because she seduces and kills men and I thought it was badass :)

Red is a lil angry girl. She’s very temperamental and if you piss her off enough it’ll fuck up her combat and make her sloppy. She is aware of her short temper but she isn’t really aware of it being a flaw.

Red is more feminine! She only really begins to explore herself and what she likes after she starts killing dudes but HEY better late than never lmao

Bakugou hates family parties. The noises are always so loud, and right now his little cousin is screaming about cake.

He already has a headache.

Uraraka stands next to him, but she's the picture of positivity. She's smiling, as if she's ready to meet his whole entire family.

She's not his girlfriend. But his mother urged him to invite someone just a few days prior...

"Why don't you invite that girl, you know, the one with the cute smile?!" Mitsuki pushed and Bakugou had never scoffed harder at his stupid mother.

"Fuckin' forget it!" he snapped, about to storm away. He didn't even want to go to his stupid cousin's birthday party.

"KATSUKI!" she yelled. "I was trying to make it more bearable for you by letting you invite a friend, but if you're just going to reject it then so be it. Come alone and be miserable."

Either way he was going to be miserable, but now he stands at his little cousin's birthday party, Uraraka next to him. Why he caved and asked her is a mystery to himself as well.

"So..." she whispers. "So... am I supposed to be your girlfriend?" she whispers.

Okay, so perhaps he asked her to the party in an ambiguous sort of way. Or more like... he shouted at her, demanding she come with him. Uraraka agreed, but mostly due to her confusion with the situation... or Bakugou not giving her much of a choice.

"You're coming to this party with me, Round Face. My mom wants you to come!"

"Oh! I love your mom! But... why does she want me to come?" Uraraka asked, tilting her head to side.

"I dunno, she fucking thinks you're my girlfriend or whatever! I'll pick you up at 10 AM!" he yelled, pointing at her while storming off.

"No," he grunts. "We're not together."

"Uh, Okay... I thought I was supposed to be like... your fake girlfriend! You know... pretending to your family so they don't pester you!" she giggles.

"Whatever, do what you want!" he snaps, his eye twitching.

The two move into the house to actually mingle with the guests.

"KATSUKI!" A small boy yells, rushing towards him as he leaps forward, wrapping around Bakugou's waist. "You came!"

"Tch... yeah. ‘Course I did," he mutters. The little kid is okay. Bakugou doesn't hate his cousin or anything...

Next to him, Uraraka giggles under her breath and he tries not to explode.

"Who's this!" he asks, pointing rudely. "Is she your girlfriend? She's pretty."

Bakugou's eye twitches. "She's... just a... friend!" he hisses.

"Well, you should date her because she's really pretty!" he says, grabbing her hand. "Come on! Let's go play games!"

"Oi!" Bakugou calls out after them when his cousin drags her away. So much for bringing a friend to the party.

His cousin clings to Uraraka, showing her his action figure collection, explaining about how his quirk will be better than Katsuki's when he finally gets it. Katsuki wants to fight with him, but he can't stop watching Uraraka. The entire time she has a smile on her face while she talks to his cousin. She doesn't even know his family, and yet she's trying so hard.

She does have a pretty cute smile.

She makes one of his cousin's toys float and he claps his hands, excited by how cool he thinks her quirk is.

Yeah. Uraraka is pretty badass.

"Let's play pin the tail on the donkey!" Bakugou's cousin cheers, dragging Uraraka over to the wall where the cheap piece of paper sits. He follows, mostly because he has nothing better to do, but also because he doesn't want to let her out his sight for some inexplicable reason.

"You go first!" his cousin says, pointing to Uraraka. He hands her the blindfold. 

"Ah... uhm... Bakugou-kun?" she says, turning to him. "Can you help me tie it?"

He grunts, rolling his eyes as he ties the black bandana around her eyes, pushing her hair up awkwardly. She looks messy, but it's kind of cute.

"Spin her Katsuki!" his cousin yells, jumping up and down.

He quickly spins Uraraka in a circle and she lurches forward once he stops spinning her. He knows she's often prone to nausea with her quirk, so maybe spinning her fast wasn't the best idea...

"W-Woah... B-Bakugou-kun," she mumbles and steps over her foot awkwardly. Instead of walking forward, she trips directly into him, pushing him to the ground. Her lips smash against his and she gasps, pushing the blindfold up. "S-Sorry!" she squeaks out.

"Shut it," he mutters. Bakugou knows his face is bright red, but he wraps his arm around her neck and pulls her into an actual kiss, pressing his lips against hers for a brief moment. He doesn’t want to do anything strange in front of his little cousin. He can save that for later.

"B-Bakugou-kun!" she gasps, her face redder than he's ever seen it. She pushes herself up, both of them standing.

"Soooo... I guess she is your girlfriend," his cousin smiles with a smug attitude.

"Shut the hell up!" Bakugou says, but he but he wraps his arm around her shoulder and she smiles.

Maybe this isn't so stupid after all.

Okay so this Crazy (not so) Rich Asian went to watch Crazy Rich Asians today and I’ve so many feelings. 

I’ve been so excited about this movie ‘cause you know, Hollywood movie set in Singapore my sunny island yasssss! Then the trailer dropped and I’m like, “okay this is not very diverse, this is not a good representation of how diverse my country is or reflective of its demographic, like where are my brown skin people at but whatever maybe rich people only mix with their own so i’ll roll”

While watching it, I kept forgetting that this is a Warner Bros picture and not locally produced. I enjoyed the movie. I had a few laughs along with the audience, I related to a few of the scenes and most of all, it’s really cool seeing familiar places popped up on screen.

It’s about to get spoiler-y but here are my thoughts from a Singaporean perspective:

- The text messages in our colloquial English (Singlish). I was so proud la, good job.

- Nick Young didn’t fly SQ? *gasp* Singapore Airlines didn’t take this opportune moment to get in on it? Why?

- “This airport has a butterfly garden...” Yes, and a movie theater and swimming pool, and I LOVE our airport so much.

- They drove around in an open jeep... Like okay, no Singaporean does this. Not in this country with this humid af weather but rich people are often in their own world so I guess there’s that.

- THEY FEATURED OUR HAWKER CENTER (S) like yassss, get in on it! Of course, they had to go Newton, a tourist trap but okay, again, I guess rich people do that sort of thing.

- Nick Young says the best satay is at Newton? Frankly offended. Bro, I will fight you. The best satay is at East Coast. Eat that up while drinking sugar cane juice and enjoying the ocean breeze, that’s living.

- “Satay dua puluh, sepuluh ayam sepuluh daging” let’s face it, Nick didn’t have to order that in Malay, everyone understands Enligh, but he did cause he gotta show off to Rachel. I laughed at that scene, I just cannot.

- Awkwafina’s character had a road rage and went “this isn’t your grandmother’s road”. CORRECT! That’s how people go off here. A car nearly ran me over once and my immediate reaction was to shout “you think this is your father’s road or what?” 

- Asian Ellen. Dedddd.

- All these mansions. We don’t have space for all these rich people mansions. We’re so small.

- “Singapore so hot come inside where there’s air con”. I felt that. 

- Awkwafina’s character is gold. Plus her mum went “call me Aunty...” Yes very good, regardless of race, we call anyone older than us aunty/uncle as a sign of respect. I call the person at McDonald’s serving me burger Aunty too.

- Rachel went in for the hug when she met Nick’s mum and I cringed. In my head, I literally went “don’t do that. don’t hug.” But I like that the scene was there because it shows the difference between where you’re raised.

- “You follow your passion. How American.” Ouch. 

-  Obnoxious best man has a bazooka. How is that possible? We have very strict gun laws. Where did you get that and how did it appear over international waters? Rich people are weird. 

- Rachel’s entire scene at that mahjong place... When her mum got up and they both turned to look at Nick’s mum... BITCH ASS POWER MOVE! I stan.

- This whole plot of potential spouse of your children needing to be from the right family, right circle, right status, right wealth is very typical. it’s nothing new,  I grew up watching shows revolving around this whole plot all the time. but having said that, I still cried cause this sappy show had me “hook, line and sink her”

- “Singapore is very small, maybe we know his family...” HAHAH. I relate to this too.

- Astrid saying  “It’s not my job to make you feel like a man. I can’t make you feel something you’re not.” THE BURN THE BURN. You go gurl!

- Astrid walking out of the house with her expensive as hell earrings, leaving behind a loser husband. SUCH ENERGY, SUCH A MOOD. So badass.

- That shot of the iconic Merlion was cliche but okay, fine, you want to show Singapore, I get it.

- That wedding at CHIJMES was so extra but then again, rich people are so we’ll go with that. The poor dress.

- Seeing as how I was recently researching for wedding venues myself, I can’t help but think of how much money it took to have a wedding at Gardens by The Bay, like seriously how rich are the rich in my country? Mannn.

- How did he manage to throw a party at Marina Bay Sands complete with synchronise swimmers at the infinity pool right after proposing to Rachel like the logistics will be a nightmare. 

- The whole movie was aesthetically pleasing. I love it.

We get to know that the six children of Cronos are called 6 traitors dynasty.. very interesting (once again in this retelling the author made a point they are not related) it’s great to see her version. Also her mother is a huge Produce empire... badass!

🔅seven minthe was definitely scared in her boots 👢 as well especially after finding out who she really is... not for long we end the chapter with her looking out the window and catching eyes with Persephone as hades is PRINCESS carrying her off into the night lmfao day but you know what I mean. Can someone say jealously at its finest? Minthe might as well been painted green with envy.

💭💬Theory time💬💭

💡one okay lets go back to point three & seven. Seee I told you I was going come back to it ☺️ okay anyways. To this point Persephone has been through so much crap and after being attack I really think she just at her limit and why she freaks out losing her broach and paperwork. She a very sentimental gal like myself but I also think she can’t handle losing anymore the she already has. You can see it on her face while trying walk to the door she losing that fight in her. I don’t blame her it’s a lot to take in and bare all on your own. Then at the end she locks eyes with minthe and looks away she see how angry she is but I don’t think it’s out of fear. I think it’s out of I don’t care anymore. She in the arms of hades where I have no doubt she feels the safest so she not worried.

💡second I am praying with how weak Persephone she FINALLY spills exactly what’s going on with her. I hope she finds that strength to confine in hades. Just spills all her fears and what’s wrong. It will be long she losing her v-card to a prick, him stalking her, her losing her scholarship if they find out, her losing her way, and most importantly her losing pieces of her self. Who sent her down to Tartarus and Thanos cutting her off.

💡third If they have that long conversation I think she going to cry it all out and release all that stress out and hopefully just fall into a pieceful sleep.. I think he might take her home so he can lay her in a comfortable bed and take care of her.

💡fourth but they are in the rain lmfao so does hades have extra clothes in his office? Or they might have to go to his place 😂 will he order someone to get them clothes??? Mhm I wonder!

💡fifth oh boy obviously minthe Is going to raise hell about this but I don’t think it’s going to go her way.. I still think she going to get fired. Like I said last review from this point on he will protect her over anything. So I predict that they will have a heated conversation, she going to get fired and leave us for a while but not with out a plan of revenge and we will see her once again and with this I point hades and Persephone relationship have developed more and whelp I hope she gets turned into a mint plant 🌱😂 I hope it happens.
