Deadline Extended!!

The deadline for my dissertation project, Affirmation/Transformation, has been extended! This project asks fans to get inspired by one of 14 pieces of fine art and create... ANYTHING! Write a story, write a song, design a cosplay, create a fancy manicure, make a meme, make a stop-motion video, choreograph a dance, make a SuperWhoLock gif fic, or anything else your heart can dream up. Fanworks are submitted digitally, so you don't have to actually send me anything, and all kinds of fanworks from all fandoms are welcome!! You can find all the pieces and sign up for reminders HERE.

I'm not going to lie, I haven't gotten quite the response I was hoping for. I have enough submissions to put the show on, but not as many as I would like for my research. If you're interested in supporting my project, but you're not sure how, please reach out to me! I'd love to see as many different kinds of fanworks and as many different fandoms represented as possible. Submissions will be accepted through the end of the exhibition (December 22, 2024) but, if they're made after August 1st, I can't promise they'll be in the exhibition on opening day. The exhibition will be available both in person at Marquette University's Haggerty Museum of Art. and online.

Oh! I hope I’m writing in the right place but could you do one where the reader is the Moriartys little sister and Sherlock is trying to get all her brothers blessing for her and then he proposes with them hiding in the bushes?

A/N: The reader is the Moriarty's little sister Tag/s: Fem!Moriarty!Reader Warning/s: MANGA SPOILERS! This will be taking place after the time skip.

You gripped the fork and knife as you took another bite, barely tasting dinner as your older brothers stared at you and Sherlock.

You glanced over to Sherlock, seeing him eat casually and unbothered by the tension in the air, let alone the death glare Louis had been giving him all evening.

"(Y/N)," Louis called out, making you look up, "While I'm aware Mr. Holmes has been..." he gulped, "...courting you," you visibly saw him shiver.

"May I ask why you suddenly wanted us to have dinner together?" he inquired, making you wryly smile.

"I've been wanting to know all evening as well..." you whispered, glancing over to Sherlock.

"You haven't asked her?" William asked in disbelief, making Sherlock raise a brow.

"I did, though? Last week," he confirmed, making you furrow your brows.

"Ask me what?" you whispered to Sherlock as he chewed his food and swallowed, leaning to your ear.

"Ahem," Louis cleared his throat, making you both straighten up as Albert took a sip of his wine, enjoying the show.

You let out a deep sigh as you took a sip of your drink, hoping it would help you get through the evening.

"I believe this dinner is your idea, Mr. Holmes?" he asked, making Sherlock hum in confirmation.

"I'm here to ask for your blessings," Sherlock answered flatly, making you choke and cough your drink.

At his answer, Albert put down his glass, William nervously smiled, and Louis bent his fork while you heard muffled voices from the side of the room.

You glanced around the dining room and saw Bonde, Sebastian, Fred, Master Jack, and even Moneypenny by the hallway, trying to crack the door open unnoticed.

"...Please excuse me for a moment," you quickly stood up with an irritated smile, rushing to the hallway and opening it, making Bonde and Sebastian fall on the floor.

"What are you doing!?" you shouted in a hushed tone as Bonde and Sebastian stood up.

"Mr. Holmes proposed to you?"

"You're engaged!?"

"Why didn't you tell us!?"

"You were eavesdropping!?" you scolded, glaring at Bonde and Sebastian.

"That's not the point!" Sebastian denied, trying to change the topic, "Since when have you been engaged!?"

"I'm not!" you confirmed, letting out a sigh.

"Um... Miss (Y/N)?" Fred called out, tugging on the sleeve of your dress.

"Will you please leave!? I already have a hard time making sure this dinner doesn't end in disaster!"

"Miss (Y/N)," Fred called out more urgently, making you turn around and see William and Albert holding back Louis, who had a butter knife in hand, a deadly aura around him as Sherlock continued to eat.

"It might be a little too late for that..."

"Ugh..." you groaned as you sat down on the grass, resting your back on the bushes while Sherlock sat beside you.

"Your brothers are as lively as always," he commented, making you roll your eyes.

"I guess you could call it that," you breathlessly laughed, fanning yourself from running around the manor and ending up hiding in the gardens.

"Also, don't you think joking about us being engaged a little too much as an icebreaker?" you questioned, catching your breath as Sherlock looked at you in confusion.

"I wasn't joking," Sherlock confirmed, making you freeze.

"W-What are you-"

"Darling, I proposed last week," Sherlock smirked, "By the beach, remember?"

You blinked at him in confusion until it hit you, making you gasp and hit his arm.

"When you said you want us to live together..." you breathed out, making Sherlock smile.

"Ah, so you do remember," he chuckled, making you blush and hit his arm.

"Y-You practically said the same thing to William-nii-san! How was I supposed to know it was an actual marriage proposal!?" you defended, making Sherlock laugh.

You huffed out in anger as you stood up.

"Or what? Should I take it as a sign that you and him are-" Sherlock pulled you back down and kissed your lips deeply, hugging you by the waist.

"I guess I have to be more direct," Sherlock smiled as he went on one knee, holding your hand while you used your other one to hide your blushing face.

"Seriously...? Behind the bushes, while we're hiding from my family...?" you muttered, making Sherlock snicker as he raised your hand close to his lips.

"(Y/N) Moriarty, will you marry me?"

Sherlock and Co Flash Bang Event Explainer

CONTENTS OF THIS INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATION

Here’s what you’ll find in this presentation: 1. What is a Flash Bang Event? Flash Bangs are a type of mini Big Bang event with short turnaround times. What is a Big Bang? A Big Bang event is a collaborative creative event where artists and writers are paired together to create a piece of fiction and artwork based on that fiction. A Flash Bang is the same thing but instead of a long event you have just a week or two to create everything with your partner. 2. What are the requirements for participating? >You must be old enough to access the platforms where the event is hosted: Tumblr and Discord >You must be willing to write a minimum of 1000 words of fanfiction or draw a minimum of one fully lined piece of artwork. 3. What is the event timeline? April 1st-7th - Signups are available April 8-12th - Signups are closed and matches assigned April 13-26th - You and your partner have two weeks to create something April 30th - Everything is posted here over the course of the day. 4. Where can I sign up? Signups will be through Google Forms. The link will be available in a post on tumblr and linked on the pinned post here. You can also reach out to me (@eardefenders) for the link. 5. Common Questions A. What if I sign up and can’t participate? Let me know as soon as possible so we can reassign your partner. Plot: Tensions and feelings arise when you and Sherlock end up in a precarious situation when running from a murderer.

Pairing: Sherlock Holmes (Enola Holmes) x Gn!Reader

Written for @multifandomfix for their birthday event. Happy Birthday! I couldn't decide on one prompt so I kind of mashed a bunch together lol.

Warnings: Nothing really.

A/N: After watched Enola Holmes 1&2 I've been debating writing for Sherlock. I have a Christmas fic planned for him, and I thought this might be a good time to test it out. Also I had no idea what to title this lol.

Your throat was hoarse as you ran down the cobblestone street. You glanced behind you, seeing the man chasing you not far behind. Glancing to your right, you saw Sherlock, jaw clenched, hair flying as he ran beside you.

When you agreed to help Enola with her current case - which she fervently assured you wold be an easy one - running from a murderous and crooked inspector with Sherlock Holmes beside you, was not how you thought it would end up.

Slipping through a small group of people, you stumbled to a stop, as your eyes cast over the busy market square.

"The market?" You asked out of breath.

"Yes, we could lose him in here."

The bustling crowds would surely provide you cover from your assailant, giving you time to lose him, but you risked being split up in the busy crowd.

Apparently Sherlock had this same thought, as you felt his hand reach down and grab your own. You felt your heart jolt in your chest as you looked from his hand, to his eyes, which he locked with yours.

"Hold my hand and don't let go." His voice was tense, and his gaze sharp.

You nodded, before he quickly started off into the crowded market. His hand was gripped tightly around yours as you ran close behind him, slipping through the crowds of people.

Looking back behind you, you spotted the familiar bowler hat of the man chasing you, as he bobbed through the crowd. You could tell he was losing sight of you as he hesitated in his steps.

"Were losing him!" You called to Sherlock as you weaved past a large group of vendors.

Taking a sharp left, and slipping past a market stall, Sherlock pulled you into a thin, darkened crevasse of an alleyway.

The alleyway forced proximity between the two of you, as your chests pressed together. You felt Sherlock slowly let go of your hand. You moved your hands and planted them against the wall behind you. The pressure of Sherlock's grip slowly fading.

Noting the closeness of your bodies, you found yourself holding your breath. Your eyes locked for a moment and you felt something pass between you, before you both broke eye contact and peered out into the crowds.

If your sudden avoidance of eye contact was to avoid the tension that palpitated between you, or to look for your assailant, you weren't sure.

Your eyes moved from one person to another, waiting to see the man pass by. After a few moments of not seeing him, you felt nervousness and relief wash over you. You may have lost him for now, but he could be anywhere.

Looking back to Sherlock, you felt a small jolt course through you, as you saw his eyes already locked on you. You felt the back of your neck heat up, as his eyes bored into you.

The detective had made you nervous from the moment you met him. The way his eyes seemed to follow your every movement, the way he studied you, you couldn't help but wonder what he could see. It had to be something notable since he seemed determined to keep you with him since he agreed to help Enola with her case a day prior.

Finally breaking the tension that seemed to be growing heavier between you, you spoke with a hushed voice. "What now?"

Sherlock seemed to snap out of his thoughts as you spoke. He paused for a moment as he took a breath.

"Now, we slip out into the crowd, grab something that could disguise us, and find our way back to Enola. Hopefully she and Tewkesbury have gathered the evidence she needed while we were being chased through London. She should have had plenty of time. Once we have it, we take the evidence to Lestrade, and then-" He paused, his voice going silent.

You rose your brow lightly "And then?" You asked.

"And then-" He began, his voice soft, but you saw his thought falter as he spoke "And then the case is done."

You weren't sure why you thought he intended to say something else, but you felt the disappointment of it anyways. You nodded your head as you forced yourself to look away from him.

Peering out into the crowds, you mumbled softly. "Sneak out. Find a disguise. Find Enola. Case closed. Sounds easy enough."

Looking back at Sherlock, he had a soft smile on his face "Something Sounding easy, and being easy don't always coincide."

You smiled softly and shrugged your head "I guess we'll find out if it does this time."

As you began to step out from the alleyway, you jumped back when you felt Sherlock grab your hand

"Wait."

"What?" You asked as you looked around hurriedly "Did you see him?"

"No, no, we're fine, it's just..."

You eyed him with curiosity as he seemed lost for words. "What is it Sherlock?"

"I- I don't know how much time we will have to talk once we leave this alley and get back to Enola."

You felt your heartbeat speed up as your neck grew hot again. It was unusual seeing Sherlock Holmes uncertain.

"Yes..?"

"I- I have enjoyed my time with you these last few days. You...pique my interest in ways I find to be unexpected. So, if- if it is desirable to you. Perhaps, once this case is over, you would be willing to have dinner with me?"

His previously downcast gaze slowly rose to meet yours. The restraint you had to use not to show your surprise was great. But you remained stoic, before you smiled softly at him.

"I would love to have dinner with you Sherlock."

You saw the small hint of relief wash over his face before he smiled. With a nod of his head he spoke softly "Great. I could pick you up tomorrow, around six?"

You repressed the grin pulling at your face as you nodded "Alright, six it is."

His smile grew wider for a moment before he remembered your current situation. He cleared his throat.

"Perhaps we should go now, before we are found here."

You were jolted back into the moment as you nodded your head "Yes, right."

You both spared each other soft knowing smiles before you slipped from your hideaway. Sherlock's hand reluctantly slipped away from yours as you quickly returning to your previous business. But both of you anew with an excited and expectant energy.
