Emotional support humans

In this au the war ended before humanity got involved in it but for one reason or another we still find out about the bots. Standard fist contact stuff happens you know but the bots eventually realize how much calmer they are around humans.

Bots find it hard to go into statis when there's a high likelihood of being attacked in your sleep, but with humans those worries seem to just melt away. It's kinda weird to them to feel protected by a very small organic creature. Regardless stuff like this keeps happening so seeing an economic opportunity humans created "Flesh therapy." (Everyone thinks it's a terrible name but it was the one that stuck)

Flesh therapy could be but not limited to: cable straightening, therapy sessions, human cuddling, car washes, becoming living fidget toys or the main thing live in human therapy dogs.

It will vary but usually a human will live most of the time with a bot (the company will provide basic necessities) and help them through daily life. They have their own vest with cybertronian writing and a government issued work id.

before i watch tfp tonight i want to make sure you all know that the single most absurd frame of the entire show is this shot right here from trf:

how did you get an E in there???? that's not even an element!!!! why are the names glycerol and glycine in different fonts, in different places? (no factual errors there, though, those are both common names for the same molecule.) "propane 1,2,3, triol" ok mostly correct but you're missing some hyphens. "3 hydroxyl (OH) functional group"? there is no reason to further specify that after both showing the structure and giving the iupac name. also you forgot a "s" at the end there. you're just throwing chemistry jargon on the screen. how did you replace an H with an E, i just want to know. never mind sherlock's dialogue later of mentioning how there was "the glycerol molecule" sdlfkjsdj no-one talks like that! just say you found traces of glycerol! WHERE DID THE E COME FROM?????

okay so I'm re-reading the original ACD Sherlock Holmes stories for the first time in years, and I have to talk about "The Adventure of the Noble Bachelor." Holmes takes a case that centers around a couple who live a rough, dangerous life together and fall in love, but then have to part because of reasons beyond their control. The husband goes off on his own to complete a task that will allow him to return to his beloved, but then gets captured. He escapes and tries to return to his wife, but by that point she's believed him dead for more than a year. He follows her to London, only to find out that she's about to marry someone else. But now here's the real kicker: when he approaches her and she catches sight of him and realizes that he's still alive, she immediately decides to leave her new fiancé for her first, true love.

Also, Holmes doesn't think the wife did anything wrong by leaving her new lover for her first husband.

Ugh. It's like Moftiss truly just lifted this plotline and embedded it into TRF and TEH, but obviously with John making the opposite decision from the wife in the ACD story.

The story literally ends with Holmes saying to Watson that they should "thank our stars that we are never likely to find ourselves in the same position." (Holmes is talking about the position of the second man whom the wife left, but still.) That hurt.

How I feel about current trans infighting

How guilty Mycroft must have felt after the fall is not talked about enough. Yes he’s the British government but that doesn’t make him any less of Sherlock’s brother. The only person that can understand his struggle in a way even John can’t. The only person Sherlock trusted growing up, regardless of whether they want to admit it or not. Mycroft is his big brother, of course he cried and that won’t change even if no one saw it. He’s not so cold hearted like he wants to act. Part of his guilt was amplified by how John spent miserable years after the fall. He’d rather die than to admit this but he cares about John, probably because Sherlock cares about him but nevertheless he cares. He cares about them so much but he doesn’t know how to show it other than by being obnoxious and annoying.

In case anyone claims I fell down the stairs, no I did not fall down the stairs. There is no evidence for that. I am much too agile and have too fast reflexes to do such a simple mistake as slip on the stairs.

For Nathan it was very fun to draw him and tbh it came out so naturally! I wanted to make it more steampunk themed, so added different decorations and so on. And I wanted it to look kind of like an old-timey photo.

Coal is a DTIYS that I desided to combine with the Art Fight. It was a nice challenge to do something more detailed, but at the same time I wanted it to keep it more paint-like. For this one it's more of a postcard-like.

With Audrey originally I wanted to make it seem like all of them are coming out of the painting, but then felt that it looks best as a mural that Audrey is presenting. I also really wished for all of them to hang out together sometime, so I like to imagine that Audrey is recreating one of the memories C: It was also good to finally try something less painterly with Audrey, aka my style before I got obsessed with imitating paintings jskldlsd.
