Having an Arlecchino brainrot rn

speaking of the empress!au, i've been wondering how Arlecchino wound up in the harem? another tall intimidating bodyguard?? shenhe might have a new competitor 😳 foaming at the mouth about possessive arle and shenhe just vying for our attention

imagine Arle just sneaking her hand down our waist while her thumb massages gentle circles on our back, glaring at Shenhe with the most shit-eating grin on her face as she pulls us to her body. (yk that coat she wore? she wraps her arms around our body as we warm up tgt in her giant coat AHFHGGGGG)

I did not think of Shenhe and Arlecchino having a rivalry once Arlecchino joined the harem, but ykw I think it would be funny 😅

Poor Shenhe is always beefing with the next strong woman that joins the harem because she wants to be the only one that protects the Empress. If Arlecchino joins, now Shenhe has to deal with yet another bodyguard that vies for her lover’s attention and compete with her to show that she’s the best courtesan to guard her!

Insert Shenhe death-glaring at Arlecchino whenever she picks up the Empress, hiding her in her giant coat or sneakily dragging her off to her bedroom for god knows what (sex). Though Shenhe would initially dislike Arlecchino, the sex between them is mind-numbing.

It could be super cold within the palace and Arlecchino is fucking the Empress to make sure she stays warm. Cue Shenhe being jealous because she knows her body is cold, yet climbing into bed anyways to get her hands all over the Empress’ body. Two pairs of hands, one hot and one cold, and the poor Empress is overstimulated out of her mind. The temperature play between them is real, not to mention the jealous, rough sex between them as they want to prove how much faster, how much harder, how much better they are compared to the other 🥵

When Xianyun had returned to Liyue and live there as a mortal just like her fellow Adepti and Rex Lapis, it did not take her long to find out why they were doing so.

Doubly so when she had fallen in love with a mortal there.

Honestly, she was mostly there just for the food, but this would be a nice bonus as well!

Eventually whenever she ran into her beloved disciples, Xianyun introduced S/O to them.

First of all, they were completely surprised that S/O had won Xianyun's heart in such a manner, but were extremely happy for her!

And so, came a question that neither of the couple was prepared for.

(Ganyu) "So, Master...Do you plan to have kids?"

S/O choked on their tea while Xianyun adjusted her glasses and raised an eyebrow.

(Xianyun) "Have kids...One does not understand the question. Do you mean more disciples like yourself and Shenhe?"

Ganyu suddenly seemed flustered. Strange, One wasn't planning on telling S/O a story about her-

(Ganyu) "As in, do you plan to have children together, master."

It took a moment for Xianyun to process the question again, before her eyes widened.

(Xianyun) "Where did this question come from, Ganyu?!"

(Ganyu) "I-I just overheard a lot of my married coworkers mention their children! I had assumed that it was something everyone in a relationship thought about!"

Xianyun's face reddened as she cleared her throat and put down her food before she choked on it like S/O did.

(Xianyun) "One believes that question is far too private to be asking about! Even mortals do not do so!"

(S/O) "You'd...be surprised, Xianyun. A lot of parents ask that question. And I'm fairly sure you asked Ganyu and Shenhe the same-"

(Xianyun) "N-Nonsense, One would not tactlessly ask so straightforward!"

(S/O) "..."

Xianyun began pouting.

(Xianyun) "W-What is that look you're giving me?!"

Shenhe asked like she hadn't just completely intruded on her Master's intimate affairs with the subtlety of a Ruin Hunter.

Both Xianyun and S/O had the wind knocked out of them as they looked at her with the same shocked expression.

(S/O) "I-I'm sorry?!"

(Xianyun) "Shenhe! One did not recall teaching you to ask about such...matters so bluntly!"

(Shenhe) "I believe that you had asked me the same question when I was with the Traveler, Master-"

Xianyun sighed loudly as she tried to regain her composure while S/O wiped the food they had dropped on themselves.

(S/O) "If it were anyone else, I would have assumed you were teasing."

Shenhe nodded.

(Shenhe) "...But you have still not answered my question."

Fighting off the creeping blush on her cheeks, Xianyun finally responded.

What is Yascony Hill?

Yesterday a new comment on Identity Crisis 3 clued me in to something I'd never heard before about SMT4: The name "Yascony"--and that it's mentioned in a strategy guide. Obviously meant to evoke "Yasukuni", it's where the game begins with the protagonist and Issachar just chilling near its lake. Sure enough, the guide in question that contains it is the mini-guide that was included with the US first edition of the game; I could find no mention of it in the Japanese guide, artbook, or World Analyze tomes, though it's totally possible i overlooked it (check them out on Vesk's archive if you want!). Without corroboration from a Japanese source, it makes the authenticity somewhat hard to gauge, but the name itself is localized in English in the same style as the other areas of Mikado (a deliberately askew romanization as an attempt to match that the familiar Tokyo districts' names are rendered in Katakana in Japanese):

キチジョージ, Kichijōji = Kiccigiorgi

シンジュク, Shinjuku = Shene Duque

....et al. I honestly forget the others. But it should then follow:

Yascony = Yasukuni, ヤスクニ

Since the name follows that pattern, I find it hard to believe it would have been invented by Atlus USA. And, then, why would the American branch name a location after the controversial Yasukuni Shrine? Something is obviously missing here, or I missed a mention of it in JP. It fits the game's Japanese nationalist themes all too well. Weird.

okay... was flipping through my copy of the smtiv strategy book. i FORGOT they tell you a NAME for the hill Issachar and Flynn are on at the beginning of the game. 'Yascony Hill'

every place in Mikado is a badly anglicized place in Japan. Some of them are obvious (Shene Duque) and others less clear. I'm actually working on making a list of all places referenced and making a post with pictures of all of them when I'm done with the game.

but like. i do NOT know what 'Yascony Hill' is referencing i am LOSING it right now. what is that anglicized from. oh my god.

Carina was in line waiting for her coffee shene she heard a voice calling her name, a voice she remembered, she turned her head seeing Joseph standing there with a smile.

“Hi Knies.” Joseph lopsidedly grinned as he walked over excited, he hasn’t seen Carina since the Last WJC in January 2018, it’s almost been two years since he last saw her and she has only gotten more beautiful.

“Hi.” Carina bluntly replied with a nod, all she could think is that he looks good. Joseph smiled even more having missed her being blunt.

“Let me guess black coffee with two extra espresso.” Joseph teased her with a large smile.

Carina slowly nodded pursing her lips slightly.

Joseph let out a fond breath, he’s glad he ran into her.

Carina heard her name being called and she grabbed her coffee and another was set down next to her was Joseph’s. Carina walked to an empty table and knew Jospeh was following her, she sat down and gestured to the seat in front of her, Joseph smiled and sat down.

“Caramel latte with extra caramel and whip cream.” Carina spoke as she looked at her window watching the snow fall in Toronto.

Joseph blinked looking shocked that she remembered his coffee order, “You remember?”

Carina looked away from the window and to him “Hard to forget.” Carina spoke watching as Joseph cheeks turned a light pink and all she wanted was to make his cheeks turn pink again. Carina also remembered how hard is to try and forgot about Joseph no matter how much she tried she couldn’t forgot the little ball of sunshine.

“Are you liking Buffalo?” Joseph questioned tilting his head in curiosity.

Carina hummed, “I like it to be warmer.” Carina told him making Joseph let out a laugh not surprised at all knowing how much Carina hates the cold.

“Toronto?” Carina questioned back knowing Joseph had finished college in march and joined the AHL team in Toronto.

“It’s nice, i like the weather and the guys are all great.” Joseph smiled softly at his long time crush and someone he would consider a good friend.

“Good.” Carina nodded knowing that if any deserved to be happy it was Joseph.

“You have game today.” Joseph asked her looking at her for confirmation.

“Yeah.” Carina replied drinking her coffee, and feeling it warming up her hands.

“Want a ticket?” Carina asked nonchalantly looking back out the window.

“You want me to go?” Joseph eyes widen in shock before he smiled softly at her.

“Sure.” Carina shrugged looking nonchalant but she was a little nervous.

“Then i would love to go.” Joseph grinned happily watching as Carina looked back at him and he could see the slight hint of a smile gracing her face that she was trying to hide.

“Cool.” Carina nodded acting as it didn’t faze her, “I’ll send you the tickets.” Carina nodded.

Joseph just fondly shook his head with a very fond smile, “You want more?” Joseph asked her gesturing to her empty coffee mug.

Carina looked at Joseph slightly hesitant but nodded and pushed the mug towards him trying not to flinch as his fingers brushed against hers.

“I’ll be back.” Joseph picked up the two mugs heading to the counter, Carina watched him leave and kept her eye on him as he waited at the counter.

Carina fiddled with the ring on her finger as she watched him, confused with her feelings.

Carina pulled her phone out and got the ticket for Joseph pretty quickly and sent the ticket to him.

Joseph walked back with two cups and lids so they could take it to go, he set the cup in front of her and sat back down.

“Thank you.” Carina mumbled as she picked her cup back up.

“Of course.” Joseph smiled softly back, “I’m assuming you need to get going?” Jospeh asked, he knew there was a few hours until the game but figured she needed to get to the hotel and change.

“Yeah.” Carina nodded and stood up, Joseph stood up as well, “I sent you the ticket.” Cairna nodded and turned around walking away.

“I’ll see you later Knies.” Joseph fondly called back watching her walk away, he smiled shaking his head.

Carina headed back to her hotel and up to her room, she put on a pair of black pinstripe trousers, a purple sweater, a black coat and her black doc martens.

Carina walked down to the lobby sitting down next to Linus waiting for the bus.

Carina was waiting for Tage to get called back up so they could play together again and be in the same city.

Carina walked into the bus sitting at the window seat looking at the window as they drove to the Maple Leafs Arena.

Carina headed into the arena and started getting dressed for warm ups, and started warming up with her team before they got all their equipment on for the ice and started warming up on the ice.

The leafs wine 5-3 but Carina played a good game, with a goal and two assists.

She took a shower quickly and dressed and was one of the first out of the locker room seeing Joseph waiting outside the locker room.

“Good game Ina.” Jospeh smiled as she walked up to him, he thought that purple was her color and the sweater was very beautiful on her.

“Ina?” Carina titled her head looking up at him. She’s never heard anyone ever call her that name before.

“Everyone has their own nickname for you and i thought it was time for me to have one, if you are okay with that if you aren’t then i won’t.” Joseph blushed sheepishly smiling as he explained and started rambling worried.

Carina shook her head and lightly put her hand on his arm, “It’s okay.” Carina interrupted him and took her hand on his arm.

Jospeh’s frowned slighty at her not touching him anymore but also knew it was very big step that she willingly touched him off ice.

“It’s cool.” Carina nodded and gave him a very faint smile before shaking her head, “You hungry.”

“I could eat.” Joseph’s cheeks were pink from getting her to smile at him.

Carina nodded and started walking knowing that Jospeh will always follow her.
