First off, it is absolutely hilarious that you matched up Shen Jiu & Mike Shelly aka the 2 guys that got bodysnatched in one way or another. Secondly, this is propaganda for Shen Jiu because he really IS incredibly tragic. Mike, while very tragic himself, is at least acknowledged by the cast as a separate person and, in a way, mourned. Shen Jiu never gets that. Only 2 people ever know he was a separate person, and quite frankly neither of them liked him much. Shang Qinghua was more scared of him than anything else while he was alive, and Shen Yuan is LITERALLY the person who snatched his body, and does not give a shit beyond being annoyed at SQH for not giving him the complete backstory to Shen Jiu in the "og" novel. And thing is, a ton of bad stuff would have happened if he DIDN'T get snatched! how would it feel to know that all of your family and friends would be safe and happy and all you had to do was just... not be you anymore. Nearly everything that went wrong in your timeline was so fucking avoidable that this guy managed to avoid the "rocks fall, everybody dies" part of it while acting on only half the information he actually needs. Mike is a tragedy because his fate was ultimately unavoidable, manipulated by the hands of others. Shen Jiu is a tragedy because his fate could have been avoided SO. EASILY.

The final is between Luo Binghe from The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System (shizun: Shen Qingqiu) and Mo Ran from The Dumb Husky and His White Cat Shizun (shizun: Chu Wanning)

Luo Binghe:

Luo Binghe's shizun Shen Qingqiu caused his sexual awakening and they lived together with Luo Binghe acting similar to a housewife.

Even after being betayed, stabbed, and pushed into the Endless Abyss, Luo Binghe still loved Shen Qingqiu and wanted answers instead of revenge. Instead he had to repeatedly suffer his shizun dying in his arms and assumed abandonment. Which makes him absolutely lose it, made even worse by his evil sword Xin Mo which worsens all of his negative emotions and destroys its hosts, along with additional trauma over the course of the story.

He reused the sword that his shizun sacrificed himself to free him from, cuddles the corpse every night for five years to preserve it, he creates dreams of their happy years together but never made a Shen Qingqiu that would speak to him, he kidnapped and destroyed cultivators' cores so he could feed xin mo and preserve sqq's corpse, he rebuilds their house in his demonic palace, he spent years fixing sqq's destroyed cultivation and trying to revive him, he forces Shen Qingqiu live in that new house, he rescues and repeatedly puts himself in harms way to protect sqq, he tries to destroy the world so Shen Qingqiu can only love him (due to being driven mad by Xin Mo and his believed abandonment by sqq). He tries to kill himself after Shen Qingqiu dies for him again. He would do absolutely ANYTHING for Shen Qingqiu! He's increadibly jealous of everyone Shen Qingqiu gives attention to, including stairsweeps he smiles at. Luo Binghe has sooo much wrong with him and it makes him so lovable. He's so incredibly traumatized, driven by love and desperation for a majority of the story. He loves Shen Qingqiu so much and can't bear to live without him.

After everything? He lets Shen Qingqiu go, wanting him to be happy even if it means sqq won't stay with him. But sqq wanted to stay together! He gets his man! There is in world porn written about them, they have weird kinky sex inspired by the porn, they get married! Luo Binghe cries regularly for sqq, so sqq can dote on him despite his thin face. Luo Binghe is shameless and adores sqq. Lbh got so nervous that he fell flat on his face when proposing! Lbh loves sqq so much and wants him to be happy more than anything else!

More on disciple era:

Luo Binghe's sexual awakening was his shizun tied up and shirtless. He fell in love after Shen Qingqiu got poisoned protecting him. He moved into his shizun's house and handled all of the cooking and cleaning, would regularly fake fall into Shen Qingqiu during training to get hugs. He got a boner from being forcibly cuddled to heal his injuries. And ran to jump into a lake after being spanked for struggling too much during the forced cuddling. Sqq still never noticed lbh's affections.

It took him like 3(three) interactions with nice shizun (transmigrator who replaced his old one) to fall irrevocably in love. baby boy was ready he had mommy issues daddy issues and honestly by that time shizun issues too... luckily his new shizun can fill all those roles and more!

And Xie lian once he figures it out is willing to disobey heavens direct orders to smooch Hua cheng even though he was explicitly told that Hua cheng was dangerous and not to be associated with. If he hadn't gone around pestering and harassing everyone and everything, perhaps Luo Binghe really would have darkened to the core and become the young man in the original work: someone who'd rend a person into a human stick with his bare hands, who cursed the world and himself. Although now instead he'd become a lovesick young man, so it wasn't really that much better... But at least he'd gained some lovable qualities.

Or at least, Shen Qinggiu had finally realized that he was quite fond of them.

The misunderstandings that ensue after the Plot forces his hand during an unavoidable canon event are legendary. Shen Qingqiu jumps out a window. Luo Binghe is soft for only one (1) person. Shen Qingqiu is such an expert at dressing everything up as comedy that you might not even notice the tragedy until it sucker punches you into the stratosphere. Luo Binghe, terrifying demon lord, is malewife and likes to do household chores/cook. Shen Qingqiu is a bottom to save Luo Binghe's manhood. They are batshit and its glorious.

Xin Mo - Luo Binghe's sword that possessed his mind demanding blood sacrifices via controlling his obsession and was powerful enough to rip through space, time and alternate universes. The culprit behind the fuck to save the world trope in svsss.

Fangxin - the sword Xie Lian was stabbed with during the One Hundred Swords incident and that Bai Wuxiang gave to him to use after. It has an elegant black blade and has arguably been used more against its owner than any other enemies.

E'Ming - Hua Cheng's cursed scimitar forged through sacrificing his right eye during his ascent to Mt. Tonglu's kiln in an attempt to save the lives of people that had accompanied him in the quest. It notedly acts like a puppy towards Xie Lian, cries, demands pets and attention and has a massive praise kink canonically.

Xiu Ya - Shen Qingqiu's prestigious and highly acclaimed sword with an impressive sword flash and that SQQ complains often about not being allowed to fly on due to Airplane's low fantasy worldbuilding.

Xuan Su - Yue Qingyuan's sword tied to his life force after a cultivation incident in his youth. Badass enough to subdue opponents even unsheathed, canonically considered the most impressive cultivation instrument. The only thing that makes seeing three inches of it exciting.

Suibian - Wei Wuxian's sword named by Jiang Fengmian as a joke, it sealed itself the moment it was taken away from its master never to be drawn again (or so everyone thought). It is noted to be powerful because only high level spiritual instruments are able to seal themselves like this. The catalyst to the golden core reveal.

Bichen - Lan Wangji's stunning and powerful sword that can cut through anything including trees that its master cut down due to gay panic after kissing his blindfolded crush. Its claim to fame in the fandom has little to do with its remarkable strength, though.
