Tenten did shine in Naruto

In the second shinobi war, Tenten destroyed Kakuzu’s masks and one of them is the lightning mask, which is arguably the second strongest out of the four. And in addition, she destroyed the wind mask in the anime. Tenten has defeated one of the most powerful opponents in this series, which are Kakuzu’s masks. This just took a few seconds. Despite she had bad chakra control, she used a chakra consuming weapon to save her comrades. She did shine.

And the ones who demonstrate their power with the treasured tools of the sage of six paths surpass the five kage. Tenten has used it and currently has three out of the five weapons of Hagoromo’s. The weapons are tough to wield and our girl Tenten successfully got three of them. The Kumogakure ninjas, Samui and Atsui gave it to her for future use. This implies how strong she is in weaponry and how much she is trusted, even by outsiders.
