seeing this makes me feel like they should've done more with Hela rather than giving her 15 mins of screen time to serve as a villain.
i'm deffo gonna make sure to include her a bit more in my series than they did in the movie :v

Genuinely don't get how people forget about Trina so easily or undermine her in favour of literally anyone else. Like have you seen this woman. I'm a gay man and I would beg and plead for a chance with her oh my god. Smash.

Hwa-ran was really interesting in this episode because you can actually start seeing some cracks in her foundation.
For a long time, she's been used to Won folding and doing whatever she wants. She's also been really used to her father believing her and going along with what she wants. Now, both of those things have stopped working in the ways she's used to.
I also feel like she had a mini temper tantrum over the politician getting upset at the 100 year event when it's ultimately her fault that happened in the first place. As upset as she was that she wasn't in charge, Won was the one in charge of the event. She should have just let him do things his own way and fail if that's what happened. However, she couldn't help herself and wanted to be seen as the hero. Except, Won refused to do things her way, and now the politician is mad.
If the King Group suffers consequences, it's ultimately going to be because of her hubris.

the lack of fan content/love greta of danesti gets from the fandom makes me so sad especially when it's very obvious why people choose to ignore her existence in the show.

Something that makes me so physically upset is the idea that Elizabeth (who is seven in my timeline) probably didn't fully understand the concept of death. I can imagine her being confused about why everything changed so much after the bite of 83, maybe even a little angry. William pays even less attention to her now than he did before and Michael barely ever comes out of his room or talks to her. Yes she's sad about Evan, but she doesn't understand that this isn't normal, she doesn't understand why everyone's taking it so seriously. She just wants her life to go back to normal, and to be able to see the robot her own father made for her. Is that too much to ask for?

big fan of the major antagonists in crash course in romance being the scary mums whilst a b-plot position is given to the actual murderer

I really love Constance being psychic as a storytelling device, because her personality and lack of life experience means that if anyone in her vicinity is experiencing mental or physical pain and trying to brush it off she just immediately calls them out.
"Hey. You're hurting. That's not normal."
"Well, not really, but it's fine and I'm probably exaggerating anyway—"
"No. You're not. Get some help for goodness sake."

Ocean O'Connell Rosenberg being both the first aware of their deaths and the last to accept her death is so important to me. She didn't want to ride the cyclone in the first place and she was aware that something bad was going to happen(even if it was passed off as just being anxiety) and yet she held up with the belief that she was going to be the one brought back until she was directly confronted with her own morals.

I actually think Jinx becoming the symbol of rebellion to other Zaunites makes sense from an in-show perspective
Ekko and the firelights are providing people with a safe haven and are trying to dismantle Silco's shimmer operations, they're providing the Zaunites with as much support as they can while still remaining pretty underground
Their work in the undercity is so important but it also doesn't pose any threat to Piltover—which is why characters like Caitlyn and Heimerdinger don't have any issues with it—which is behind the systemic oppression of the undercity
Jinx attacking the council directly and doing real, actual damage to them proved that not only could these people be hurt, but the undercity could hurt them
She's essentially the first (I know she's not actually the first) Zaunite that's managed to harm the root cause of all their suffering, and in a very public and brutal way, so of course the Zaunites would see her as the leader of their rebellion who's finally gonna bring them the freedom and justice they thought they'd never see
The Zaunites don't know that Jinx doesn't actually care about their liberation (although based on the teaser for batch 2 that might change?) but the audience does, so while it makes total sense for the citizens of the undercity to make Jinx their figurehead, the fandom has no such excuse
Ekko is literally the BIGGEST advocate for the undercity and the one that’s actually been helping people and the fact that he’s never brought into conversations about undercity activism and the fact that I’ve seen more people giving Jinx, Vi, Silco, and even CAITLYN credit for trying to help and better their lives is so??
I guarantee if Ekko was a white boy you guys wouldn’t ignore or forget about him as much
