Do you have any fun queer headcanons for the Nuka World raiders?

YES I DO!! I have so many different headcanons for so many different fallout things, so I love specific questions like this!!!

*First and foremost: Porter Gage is anything but straight. I personally think he gives off mean bisexual energy!

*Gage is also the type to be willing to try things. He’s down for mostly anything or anyone

*in my own little world where Gage is with my fem Overboss OC Lilly, Gage gets pegged. Sex toys are a big thing for them and their sex life.

*Mags Black is totally gay. I’ve always felt like she and Lizzie Wyath would make an interesting couple!!

* William Black?? He is either super into dudes or he is the straightest person in Nuka World. I can't decide on which vibe he gives me.

*The Disciples are a gang that is almost made up entirely of women. I just know some of them are in badass lesbian relationships.

*I also feel like there are quite a few kinky freaks in each raider gang. I just know most of those Disciples have knife kinks

*Porter Gage is the kind of guy to keep his sex life behind closed doors. He doesn’t talk about it, but like everyone knows he swings in all directions.

*Everyone in Fallout is bisexual or close to it. I don’t make the rules, it’s just the fallout way.

*I don't want to leave out The Pack! I don't really have any for them. But they are for sure the kind of group where sex and sexuality are very free and open! I also feel like most of them are down for really anything

I wish there were more named characters in Nuka World so I could make this list even longer! I don’t even have many ocs for Nuka World, maybe I need to make a few 👀

5. What did they do about Nuka World?

so, trying to resume it, Vaughn and Danse, during a normal visit to a settlement close to Sanctuary, there was this signal on pipboy and they got curious, and ended up in the train, and trapped in the Gauntlet. they barely made it out alive, and killed the Overboss. how he couldnt escape anymore, as they were surrounded by raiders, Vaughn accepts the Overboss role, and Danse being his second in command.

they knew they couldnt get back on the train, or even leave, as the raiders would had followed them, and then being scattered around Commonwealth. they only managed to send out a radio message back in Sanctuary, but couldnt gave their location. they had no choice but to play their games, even that Vaughn hated every second of it, but to blend well with them, he sometimes needed to fight in the Gauntlet with anyone that challenged him (bare handed, as he prefered). in a way, he did prefered to stay with the Pack, which the Operators didnt appreciated it at all, and were talking on how to get the Overboss's attention.

there was someone else in the Operators who listened carefully, as she knew the Overboss before. Ellie Connor (adopted oc from my bff), she was a caravan guard and friend of Hancock and MacCready. she and her caravan group were captured by the raiders, and Ellie offered to join them, as to protect the group, but she was stuck on how to get out. she seen Vaughn in the Gauntlet and wanted to talk to him, how he had a change of heart that fast. she offered herself to go 'serve' the Overboss, as she was the best looking from other from Operators. the twins let her, hoping she will bring the Overboss to them.

after she got to them and after a few sharp replies, they agreed to work together and to get out and free the traders. the plan was to first take over the rest of the park, give to the Pack and Operators equally and earning their trust, leaving the Disciples left out. then, to turn the Pack and Disciples against each other, and poisoning the Operators. all 3 managed to weaken the raiders and get the traders out safely, back in Commonwealth, and call the Minutemen later to get rid of all raiders.

it took almost 2 months to get back home.

14. What are their hobbies?

reading, cooking, dancing, singing, helping his chicken Hera to raise her baby chicks, board games.

15. Chems/booze/cannibalism/vices in general?

maybe his worst vice is drinking alcohol, something he started since he was young and even legal to drink (around 16-17). he even used alcohol to numb his mind whenever he had issues. even when he got out the vault, he began to drink more, which worried his new friends. when he became the General, he let the alcohol a bit off, but after finding Shaun, he became alcoholic again, but he was helped out by his partners and friends. only after he adopted the synth child, he finally gave up of alcohol, as to not end up like his father. ocassionally, he may drink a glass of wine at dinner.

Sharpshooter tries to convince Catalyst to be a better person, however, Catalyst's idea of "acceptable behaviour" is "what I have observed from my peer group" so yeah that's a bit of a challenge there.

hey thanks for the ask! ive not been logged into tumblr in like 7 months oops (oh this is new things to adjust to). i am so glad that you enjoy the prompt list <3

Give us a (brief, or not) history lesson of your OC - for phil.

Phil's family moved to Boston from PR when he was a young child, he and his sister were the children of comfortably well off parents that were frankly very bad at being parents.

in my fallout version of him he was a delinquent and was expelled from his highschool for excessive fighting and drinking alcohol on school grounds, he was offered a boarding school and later compulsory military enrollment as a alternative to ending up behind bars after a extra messy fight. he was good at the sciences and so was working as a laboratory worker for newly compounded chems instead of being trained more than the mandatory minimum amount for fighting for the military.

he married nora as a convenience for both of them shortly before moving to sanctuary hills. she was 22 and he was 19 when the bombs dropped.

he is not even sure that shaun is his (and doesnt much care, honestly) and so much of the actual fo4 storyline is ignored when i play him. he generally thinks that the factions are all pretty useless and goes off to become a raider (and makes some decent money in the process, thanks to being handy with the chem bench). he becomes overboss thanks to institute synth grenades, even though noone understands why he would help them out.

he ends up in a poly relationship with my ocs madra and toolio (who are both nuka world raiders)

How would Lilly meet Porter Gage, if not through the Nuka World Gauntlet?

My honest reaction when reading this ask:

Okay but seriously!! I didn't expect anybody to take interest in my OC Lilly and her story with Porter Gage!! I am so happy that some of you are taking interest in her character, I love answering questions about her!

So I've only thought about this briefly! So my thoughts for how she meets Gage are nothing more than silly ideas so far, nothing has really been set in stone or even thought out throughly. Everything in this is just pure brain rot ideas that I have been considering!

I LOVE the Nuka World Gauntlet and I love to picture Lilly absolutely kicking ass in the Gauntlet; impressing Gage and the others as her and Dogmeat take on the challenges like champs. Then Lilly kills Colter without a second thought, becoming Overboss immediately.

But I also have a few other ideas brewing. Like Gage coming across Lilly. How?? I don't really know the nitty gritty of exactly how. But I do have a brief unfinished idea so far. Maybe theres some stories and rumors about some crazy wastelander who has been hiding out not far from the Nuka World transit center. Or maybe something else?? Maybe he figured out who she was before she became a crazy wastelander, like he knows how she had turned Goodneighbor into an empire. Maybe they meet well before Nuka World is even a thought in Gage's mind?? IDK yet! But I do really like the idea of Gage getting to know her a bit better before asking her to kill Colter and take his place as Overboss.

I just love the idea of Porter Gage coming across Lilly and her terrifying companion Dogmeat after a big fight. Picture this; She's just standing in the middle of the ruins of an old town, a dozen dead supermutants surrounding her. She's in some ratty old jeans and an Atom Cats jacket, and covered head to toe in mutant blood. She's breathing heavily and shaking, clearly in a drug fueled rush. The bright pink nail filled baseball bat and broken pistol at her feet tell a story, one of her insane bravery and recklessness. She is clearly in desperate need of a turn around, and Gage has the perfect offer for her.

The dog at her side is massive, the colorful red bandana around his neck standing out against his brown fur, but blending in well with the blood that covered his muzzle and paws.

When he looks up from the dog and back to her he sees that she's staring right at him, her hand in a fist at her side. One that was clearing giving a command, the dog at her hip getting into that low attack position. She is ready to sick her dog on him, to have the beast rip out his throat. But she doesn't, instead she asks him a question.

"What do you want? Any sane man would've attacked me by now." And the smirk that crosses her face is dangerous, one that Gage returns. "Well I'm no sane man, and you look like a woman who knows how to get shit done." and Lilly can't help but be intrigued by the new stranger.

He was clearly a raider, and by the looks of him one she should absolutely not trust. But her life is already a mess and she has nothing else to possibly lose, so she listens to his job proposition and goes with him.

Once again, these are just thoughts for now! But let me know what you think! Do you have any thoughts on Gage and Lilly?

Ivy Amari (She/Her)

My lone wanderer, Ivy is a clinically depressed bisexual who struggles with self harm. She also is a pretty heavy drinker and she smokes! She has a dog named Dogmeat, and a boyfriend named Butch DeLoria. Image credit goes to @beyx​

Scar (She/Her)

My Courier 6, Scar, was born as María Cortez, when she was 14 raiders attacked her family, killing her mom, abducting her, and leaving her 10 year old brother, Asher, that was hidden. She was inducted into the raider gang, getting the nickname Scar. She eventually left and became a courier with the Mojave Express. During her work there she was ambushed, shot in the head, and buried alive. That starts off the game, her eventually siding with the NCR and beginning a relationship with Cass. She reunites with her brother too.

Crow (She/Her)

My current sole survivor, she was married before the bombs fell, took shelter in Vault 111 where she and her neighbors were cryogenically frozen without their knowledge for 200 years. Her wife, Nora was shot and presumed dead when people abducted their child. Crow escaped cryo after, and went looking for her son. She hired a mercenary named MacCready and they eventually fell in love. 

Harper O’Leary (She/Her)

Harper is a Vault 76 dweller, and she was born in the vault. She’s nineteen, a mechanic, a massive lesbian, and she kinda raised herself. She’s irish-american, has an extremely high alcohol tolerance, has a really bubbly personality, and lost her right hand to a mirelurk. She hand-made her prosthetic out of the scraps she could find. 

Tiny Tess (She/Her)

Tess is my Nuka-World overboss, becoming the leader of the raiders living there after killing the last overboss. She then helped clear some dangerous areas to give the gangs there more territory. She’s a born and raised raider, eventually dating her second in command. She’s pretty calm, although she does like violence/fighting and is pretty ruthless.

Asher (He/They)

Asher is Scar’s younger brother and he was 10 when raiders attacked them. Their mother stalled the raiders while Scar hid him. When he came back out their mom was dead and Scar was missing. He made his way to a nearby town after a few days and eventually settled in a small farming village.

Stiches (She/They)

Stitches is a 15 year old scavenger from Little Lamplight, a town of kids under 16. She’s pretty abrasive most of the time and her beanie is a safety blanket for her. She has a massive gay crush on Delilah.

Locket (He/They)

Locket is somehow Stitches’ best friend despite them being polar opposites. They go on scavenging runs with her and they’re basically attached at the hip.

Delilah (She/Her)

Delilah is a 15 year old who lives in a settlement somewhat near Little Lamplight. She’s friends with Stitches and Locket, even inviting them to live with her when they age out of the town. She’s got a crush on Stitches and she’s thinking of telling her before they age out of Little Lamplight. She’s got the nickname Dell but so far only Stitches and Locket call her that.

Kit/TS-17 (She/Her)

Kit is an ex-institute courser who escaped and tracked down the Railroad, choosing to keep her memories and join them in freeing other escaped synths. Her designation in the institute was TS-17 (First image is her as TS-17 and second is of her after she escapes)

Pallas (She/They)

Pallas is a pre-war ghoul who works as a courier that travels across the US. Their name pre war was Mary, but she never tells people it. She’s very sarcastic and tries to avoid conflict when she can. (First picture is pre-war, second is after the bombs fell)

Nora Anderson (She/Her)

Nora’s an Asian-American lesbian dumbass, she was dating Crow (named Abigail at the time) when she joined the military, getting the large chemical burn on her face before being discharged. She and Crow got married as soon as she got back. They adopted their son, Shaun, and then the bombs fell. They were rushed into cryo, and Nora was shot while Shaun was being kidnapped. She was presumed dead, but was actually frozen while severely injured. A little over a year later, Crow came back to bury Nora, and discovered that she hadn’t died! Crow had already moved on, but they stayed close. Nora stayed in Sanctuary for a while, and eventually started travelling, joining up with a reporter named Piper, and eventually dating her.

Rat (Any Pronouns)

Rat is a kid in the commonwealth, they spent a lot of their early life living with molerats that were kept by some raiders. Eventually he was discovered by the Atom Cats and adopted by the group. She’s nonverbal and once she became less feral, it turns out she’s very happy and kind.

Background(Note: I’m still in the process of writing this so it’ll seem like a mess til I get it finished all the way so please bear with me): Was born at The Citadel, making her a Squire(Since she was born into the Brotherhood of Steel). She was 5 years old when her parents(Angus Peyton Everston and Carmen Renee Ruth Everston) died to a SuperMutant Behemoth, leaving her in the care of Elder Owyn Lyons/Sarah Lyons and Leif Axel Gunnar. When she was 9(this takes place during the events of Fallout 3), she decided to leave with Madison Li to The Commonwealth. Leif was reluctant about her leaving at first, since she was basically the only like "family"(She looks alot like her dad, Angus, and Angus was Leif's Lover)he has left, but gave in and let her go, making her promise(also making Madison Li promise) to stay safe and hopefully that they'd meet again someday(They'd end up meeting during the Fire Support question for the Brotherhood of Steel. Also Alex and Nathan Ian Howard’s paths cross during this quest as well, making this the first time they meet). Alex has a family photo of her parents, Leif, Sarah, Squire Arthur Maxson, and her when she was 5. Also has one of her(When she’s 9), Conrad Kellogg, and Madison Li as well. During the events of Fallout 4, she's 19(making her a grown? woman). Conrad Kellogg and Madison Li are her step-parents since she was 9(Also NO I DON’T SHIP Madison Li and Conrad Kellogg together, I just see them as Alex’s step-parents). When Alex was 15?, She begged Kellogg to train her to be like a Mercenary/Field Operative(Like Him)? and Kellogg told her that he didn’t want her going out in The Commonwealth(saying it wasn’t safe lol, and he didn’t want her getting hurt), and it’s safer just to stay at the Institute, but Alex wasn’t having it, and was that’s the EXACT reason why you should train me, and I’m not gonna stay here forever. So, Kellogg and her trained ever since lol. Also even tho Alex IS NOT a synth/android or a courser, she also went thru the Courser rigorous training regimen and passed it. Alex also went on missions with Kellogg since she was 16. When she was 18, she heard about Nuka-World(So this takes place in 2286), and went go it, and kinda made Fizztop Grille her lil getaway home?, well until Overboss Colter and the the gangs show up, Colter was her first? boyfriend?(He technically doesn’t die in my version of Fallout 4, but I’m also working out Alex’s background with @m-is-for-mungo​’s OC Lily Black’s background, and Lily kills him so. 😅😅😅😅), But ye in my version Colter never dies and stays Overboss, with Alex at his side(But she also ends up leaving for long periods of times lol), also they take over the parks, but don’t end up touching The Commonwealth.

Now feels like an appropriate time to talk about my lovely girls.

I have two FO4 characters, one of them some may already know.

Both girls are the Lone Wanderer (thought to be one person by those outside of the Capital Wasteland) and they're twins; Alice Myers and Heather / Ashe Myers

Complete opposites and the furthest of what some would expect to be twins since they don't look exactly the same but have slightly similar features enough to make people occasionally confuse the two in conversation.

Alice is a tired and angry woman who married Butch DeLoria, as well as had a child with him. She becomes angry easily, especially when someone tries to trick her or force her to do something. She became the Overboss of Nuka-World and rules the raiders with an iron fist without them knowing that she intends to kill them all at some point for all the crimes they've committed, but for the time being she wants to take advantage of being a leader just for a little bit.

Meanwhile Ashe is a naive autistic woman who wants to see the best in people. Back in D.C., Ashe became the holder of Charon's contract and he took over Alice's position of being the sole protector of the oblivious mechanic. Overly friendly and compassionate, always lending a hand and even taking it in stride when someone hurts or tricks her, she refuses to resort to violence unless that's the only option. She joins the Railroad, becomes Deacon's partner, and owns a workshop in Diamond City where she builds, repairs, and upgrades plenty of things. She has a robot for the workshop to help others feel less uncomfortable around robots, a yellow robot with an Assaultatron head, torso, and arms but Mr. Handy thrusters in place of legs.

Honestly, I just wanted a reason to make twins because I haven't had twin ocs for a while and this just made me realize how much I adore both girls. The only real interesting things about the girls is Ashe is in fact autistic because I wanted more positive representation of my fellow peeps with tism and that Alice is missing her right arm from the ambush by the Enclave, though Ashe, Charon, and Butch all have different stories since Alice doesn't want anyone to know. Ashe also created her prosthetic.

Unfortunately I haven't found any mods to give Alice that appearance, so for right now it's not actually an in-game thing. Alice also has a VR pod because she's the only one who genuinely misses the Capital Wasteland, so she uses it to go back whenever she's feeling particularly homesick.

Meet My OCs masterpost!

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these and I’ve gotten a lot of new followers and several new OCs in that time. Enough now that I should probably put them under a read more. OCs are divided up by main setting that they fall under - even though all my Fallout content takes place in its own ‘verse (distinct from the canon Fallout verse in that there are horses, among other differences), the various coasts tend to be pretty separate. Without further ado:

Fallen Knight

Fallen Knight is a longform fic that is currently and irregularly updating. It takes place in the Commonwealth in 2287-2289, featuring a mix of canon characters (often modified to my own convenience) and OCs. It can be found here. 

Christopher Farris, aka the Fallen Knight (Lone Wanderer)

Christopher is my lone wanderer that I ported to Fallout 4. He is (currently) a Brotherhood of Steel Knight alongside Paladin Danse. He is the main character of Fallout: Fallen Knight. He has a strong moral compass and idolizes the knightly ideas of protecting the weak and confronting the strong. Content for him on my blog can be found at #fallen knight. 

Kristine Finch, Minuteman General

Kristine is my Minuteman OC and the General of the Minutemen. Under her leadership, they have worked to make the commonwealth safer by uniting various settlements to exchange resources and provide mutual defense. She has also published the Minuteman Guide To Commonwealth Travel, also known as the Blue Book, a handy pamphlet for settlers and traders making their way across the Commonwealth. Thomas “The Trigger” Calvani

Thomas Calvani is a ne’er-do-well from the Atom Cats who has somehow managed to continuously fall upwards, somehow culminating with him as the Overboss of the Nuka World raiders after trying to go to Nuka World with MacCready and Cait. Content for him can be found at #tales from the commonwealth.

Hector Sanchez (Reclaimer)

Hector Sanchez is an amateur cryptid hunter from Vault 76. Raised in the vault on his mother’s stories of cryptids before the war, he left the vault with his best friend Hazel in search of cryptids to find. Content for him can be found at #greetings from appalachia.

Fallout: Brave New World

Brave New World is a collection of various OCs who end up in the Mojave wasteland at the same time, in around 2289 or so. While no unifying narrative yet exists, I am planning some ficlets/short form fic around these OCs. 

Ace (Courier 6)

Ace is my courier, and a member of the Great Khans. Still a teenager when Bitter Springs happened, he was separated from the rest of the Khans and spent his remaining teenage years doing odd jobs around the Mojave and avoiding the encroaching NCR, culminating in a fateful job for the Mojave Express. He now finds himself down one eye, hunting the Mojave for Benny and the platinum chip. Content for him can be found at #ace in the hole.

Sophia Mobius

Sophia is a Followers medic turned disciple of Doctor Mobius after a chance encounter with a crashed satellite sent her to the Big MT. She later traveled to the Sierra Madre casino with Arcade and Veronica to hunt down and stop Father Elijah. She is now working with the Veronica and Christine to convince Brotherhood members to leave, smuggling out technology if possible, to assist the Followers of the Apocalypse. Martin Goldberg aka the Silver Canary (Reclaimer)

Martin Goldberg, known better as the Silver Canary, was a pre-war vigilante and the inspiration for the Silver Shroud. As a staunch anti-fascist and anti-capitalist, he had several encounters with the movers and shakers of American industry, notably Robert House, whose suite Martin broke into while he was visiting a West Virginia plant. Upon learning about Vault-Tec’s plans for Vault 76, he broke into Vault Tec University, changing the list of vault residents to a list of random West Virginia citizens, as well as himself. 

While in the Vault, Emmerane Black, a moody young woman born in the vault, declared herself his nemesis. When they left the vault in 2102, he learned of this, and instead decided to take her under his wing, forcibly adopting the young supervillain. Though they clashed often at first, they quickly found they had more in common than they realized, and soon teamed up to take on certain targets - most notably the Brotherhood of Steel. 

At some point in the following years, both Martin and Emmerane ghoulified, and in the late 2200s, Martin traveled west, to find his old nemesis, Robert House. He now haunts the areas around Vegas, a mysterious spectre doling out justice to the wicked. Caroline Keene, Ranger of the Wastes

Caroline Keene was a park ranger in a firewatch tower in Monongahela National Forest when the bombs fell. After a few days of quiet introspection, her and some of her fellow rangers agreed to make their way to the nearest town to find survivors, slowly making their way to Flatwoods and then Morgantown to join the Responders. 

After helping the Responders stabilize Appalachia in the wake of the Great War and faction infighting that followed, Caroline traveled west, continuing to help out those in need as he crossed the country that had once been America. During this time, she began to ghoulify; though initially and understandably distraught, a community of ghouls in what was once Texas helped her to accept her condition. Upon arriving in the Mojave, she found that her reputation as the ���Ranger of the Wastes” preceded her, and she was recruited by the desert rangers, though she left again when they were incorporated with the NCR. Now, she has settled in the Mojave, starting a brahmin and bighorner ranch with her partners, and helping shelter, teach, and raise lost and disaffected youth in the Mojave. The King of the Road (Chosen One)

The King of the Road was once the Chosen One of Arroyo, but became disatisfied with the duties of ruling and the pressures of being the tribe’s chosen one. In 2244, he left Arroyo, wandering New California as a drifter. He abanoned his name and title, choosing instead to take the name of the King of the Road as his renown as a drifter grew. He ghoulified due to his exposure to radiation over the years, but took to the change rather well. He continued to travel the roads of New California, eventually finding his way to the Mojave wasteland as the NCR did. Content for him can be found at #king of the road (when I make it).

Angelia King

Angelina King, the leader of the Nightstalkers, a gang in the Mojave in 2289. When Ace drives the NCR out of the Mojave, she at first believes that she will be allowed to operate with relative impunity; however, when the NCR supply trains stop coming from the west (no longer needing to fight a war that has been lost), she starts hitting caravans first and then larger settlements, carving her way across the Mojave towards New Vegas. Hannah Alton

Hannah Alton is my PC for our Fallout: New Orleans campaign run by and using the PBTA hack Powered by the Nuclear Apocalypse made by @corsairesix. Hannah is a “raider” from a gang called the Robbin’ Hoods, a gang dedicated to stealing from New Orleans’ ghoul aristocrats and redistributing their wealth to the town they’re based in.
