tolkien's tendency to leave women off of family trees is annoying to me not just because it's an overall trend in fantasy novels that i wish wasn't a thing (to quote arya stark, the woman is important too!) but also because i desperately need to know who celebrimbor's mom was and which elf lady made the bold yet fantastically bad decision to marry into the house of feanor.

#was she also a smith? when did she in curufin meet? when did she leave him? etc etc #and elves don't do political marriages! they marry for love! so what was going on there!!!#it's one of those silm plot holes which has room for a lot of interesting stuff #i wonder if there's any good fanfic about her i should look that up #pie says stuff #the silmarillion #lotr #celebrimbor #curufin #this has been on my mind a lot because celebrimbor is on my tv screen lately #and they are Very Carefully not mentioning his infamous dad and uncles but *i* know about them

ive been thinking about taco and balloon forming a little alliance post s1/ pre s2 where they'd (begrudgingly) work together planning on how to break into hotel OJ to steal stuff to take back to their makeshift camp like food, blankets, pillows, etc,,, anything that could be useful to them

#UGH TUMBLR DIDN'T SAVE MY DRAFT R U KIDDING ME WROTE A TON #ok let me go over this again as i remember #balloon ends up encountering tacos makeshift camp wandering in the woods #i like to think balloon makes close to zero noise when he walks around #kinda floats around if u will #taco figures she could use this to get balloon to sneak into hotel oj to get her stuff #well. she tells balloon its “for the benefit of both”#balloon and taco parallel eachother in so much #both of them put up a “mask” as a strategy to further into the game which lead to both of them losing all of their relationships after s1 #although both of them eventually ended up feeling guilty for what they did it took taco much longer #i think their alliance worked decently well for a while but balloons guilt and need to apologize is what drove them apart #by the time of that one scene s2 ep7 where balloon goes up to apologize and has his conversation with oj they'd already drifted apart #i think I'll doodle some more stuff with them eventually im still waiting to my charger to come in the maaaailllll #all of this has probably already been pointed out but im having fun and they've been on my mind a lot lately #so #shrugs #im screaming into the void #ii taco #ii balloon #inanimate insanity #phonification

Summon Night: Swordcraft Story (ATLUS, 2003)

#my actual posts lol #haha what if i made a daily diary post thing like nico #..i was just thinking #today was a good day #and i thought of this song #ive been playing summon night swordcraft story a lot as of late.. though none today actually #its still on my mind though #i considered using dweller empty path's song flying through a stary sky instead.. but this is what i thought of first #i think it fits best to use it #i actually had to jump through some hoops to upload music!#cus my tumblr app is kinda old.. i cant properly upload music. i could only put a link #which isnt exactly ideal #so i tried in my web browser.. but maybe its cus i havent updated it in a while or maybe just cus its tor.. it didnt work #so i downloaded firefox and did it on there lol #now im editing it in my drafts back on the app #dont ask why im not just doing it on my computer... shes having some technical difficulties. we're working on it #but not today #...#today was pretty eventful.. even if not very productive. but ive never been a very productive person #we went and saw some light festival thing! it was rly nice.. a little simple at times but it was fun #we went and got some yummy snacks earlier too! tho ive already eaten them all hehe #and i started up animal crossing new leaf. i hadnt played it in ages! its startling how much better it is than new horizions.. imo at least #only problem is i couldnt make it the same as my island.. and i didnt remember why i named my last town #we searched for a while for some reference or somfin to name it after.. but we ended up just going with ''faraway''#cus i liked the idea of being asked where im going.. and just saying far far away #and as beth said it has a kinda fairytail vibe!#...only after i named it did i realize i accidentally named it after the town in omori. oops!#...im about to hit the tag limit. so whoevers still listening i just want u to know..#i love you. ok?#goodnight

i think people give elise too much shit for her little outburst at the end of sonic 06 because if i was running a country at 17 and had been repressing my emotions for 10 years straight and one day i got kidnapped like 500 times and ended up befriending the guy who rescued me and while spending time with him i felt like i really got to be myself and have fun for the first time in forever and formed a really meaningful relationship with him only for some weird demon rat thing to show up and kill him right in front of me just to make me cry so the destructive fire god that my dad sealed inside my body would be unleashed and then in order to save the world i had to reset the timeline and forget we ever met i would have become the joker

#posts that sound insane to people who dont know the sonic lore #been htinking about sonic 06 again lately #also i didnt know how to work this in but remember the scene where she jumped off eggman's airship not knowing sonic was gonna catch her .#yeah #also i think its pretty obvious that she wasnt actually gonna let the world end so she could stay with sonic #considering she ended up blowing out the flame anyway. she just had a lot of feelings about it. which shes allowed to do #anyway. people alwasy say elise is boring and has no personality or character #but i think shes interesting. once you actually start paying attention to her #also i dont even ship sonelise but i think its pretty clear that sonic and elise meant alot to eachother #even if i prefer to make it platonic in my mind #people who say sonic hated elise just hate elise themselves and are projecting that onto sonic #< TO BE CLEAR PLATONIC RELATIONSHIPS CAN STILL BE VERY DEEP AND MEANINGFUL #idk if my wording on that was weird

I said I wanted to make some mock journal pages from Saya's journal and by gosh I did it lol these take place during the little exploration trip in the south shroud she and Fawkes take that eventually lead to them finding Dailoux.

I wanted to keep it looking more like a nature journal of some sort. Saya is an artist so she'd use the journal as a bit of a sketchbook/diary of sorts but its not something super private. Fawkes also has a tendency to use a page to write out messages for people that can't understand him sometimes so I hope I portrayed a bit of that okay. I was a bit worried on how I'd be able to pull this off though considering I am no where near at a skill level with drawing as Saya is but I had fun with this nevertheless. Maybe i'll make more if the inspiration ever hits me. I intended to make only two pages but I couldn't seem to fit all i wanted to in these so it ended up being three lol I still could've added so much more too but I think it's enough for now. Also hope the fact only the butterfly is colored isn't too jarring. She'd watercolor a few sketches I think if she had the time, especially if it's something like the morpho that has super mesmerizing colors. I do use the morpho minion on her the most so that was kind of a nod to that lol
