old concept art for a slugcat in portal that i never fully finished

this is kind of all over the place and i never finished it because of the long fall boot design. i was struggling to make a design that would keep the feet level (without its back raised too much) but also allow the scugs hands to be used for like button pressing but in the end i couldn’t be bothered to actually come up with a solution and abandoned the concept lol, but now that i’m thinking about it i could easily fix the issue, maybe i’ll come back and finish this concept some time
