The sound of cheerful neighs and whinnies that the horses make when sliding open the barn door in the morning. The smell of worn leather, fresh hay, and pine shavings. The heal-toe step of cowboy boots on the linoleum and hardwood floors. Stray bits of hay and dust falling to the ground while wiping off the Wrangler/Rough Rider jeans before entering a building. The lingering scent of whiskey in the air while taking a seat at the bar, setting the black, Stetson hat down and wiping your hair while everyone turns to assess the "cowboy" in the room. Knowing tomorrow's another day at the barn, but always looking forward to spending time in the saddle. The bond that's formed with a horse and their person that cares for them on a daily basis.

My favorite thing about Annabeth is her wardrobe.

Cause like, Rick simplifies her clothes in a way a man would, and you can tell.

Cause in EVERY book, from The Lightning Thief to Chalice, she’s in the goddamn CHB shirt. With like some shorts or cargo pants. Nothing more, nothing less.

He’s made improvements over the years, giving her some other clothes. But he’ll always come back to old faithful.
