I see a lot of people upset about William Kaplan being dead and no one mourning him cus Billy stole his body and I just don't see it that way. The kid in Wanda Vision is Billy Maximoff, The teenager at the Bar Mitzvah is William Kaplan, the Teen that got taken to the hospital after the wreck is neither and both Billy Maximoff and William Kaplan. That Teen went home with the abilities of Billy Maximoff, to the home of William Kaplan, with memories of neither and lived there for three years. He cares about Rebecca and Jeff, he lied to the to protect them from pain, they are his parents. He wants to find Tommy, he has magical powers, he wants to know who he is. All of these things are true. I wouldn't say William Kaplan is dead he just doesn't remember, like Agatha wasn't dead when he was Agnes, she just didn't remember.

What if instead of doing the forced exchange program, Juno sent Jason on a quest, promising that he would find out more about his family from before Lupa. Eventually he makes his way to Camp Half-Blood where introduces himself, and Annabeth, Percy, and Grover (or whichever of them is there) immediately responds with “I’m sorry, Jason What, Son of Whom?” And then after he confirms they heard him right, they tell him to stay right there while they run off to go make a quick call. Roughly two minutes later the moon descends out of the sky, and a teenage girl runs up to him and holy shit that’s his sister, he was only two the last time he saw her but he knows that that’s his sister what the fuck

hey wandersong fans. do you ever think about the baron. how, in so little time, wandersong clearly establishes four things: one, the baron fucked up an Entire Town. two, he did it trying to bring that town happiness, because it was once His community. three, hes kiwis father. four, they do not recognize each other.

do you ever think about how profoundly sad that is? the baron, presumably already estranged from his community, decided to try and bring it joy. he abandoned his wife and child to do so. he spent years, decades, even, working on his factory, his toys. but the factory fails. the community comes together, rallied by a bard he does not know, to tell him that hes done them wrong. that hes done something downright evil, even. he looks at a determined community he does not recognize, and backs down. he goes home to his wife, their child nowhere to be seen. thats to be expected, after decades. they must be an adult now.

and kiwi...ohhh the ways the baron parallels kiwi...the both of them, estranged from the communities they live in, doing whatever they can to bring the people around them joy, but its never enough. theyre never Part of the community. so they leave, on their own journey. one to save the world, one to save the town. and they fail! theyre not the heroes of their stories, no matter how hard they try. but kiwi went out making friends on their journey. kiwi has miriam to lift them up and help them out. the baron has no one, not anymore.

Been thinking a lot about this “the family plays isat” AU and how it might happen

Siffrin would probably refuse for them to play it if he was aware of it (thinking about how they said when learning about the diary in the library that they would hate it if someone read their deepest thoughts) and the rest of the family would also respect that, because it really would be a breach of trust. They’d prefer it if Siffrin talked to them himself, after all.

A situation I could see it happening is if, post-Loop battle, Siffrin’s Craft exhaustion got so severe he gets knocked out for a full week or two, maybe more! And the family would be so worried and desperate to understand what happened so that if the game appeared to them suddenly, they’d be tempted enough to play through it. If only just to figure out how to help Siffrin wake up again

(and probably a mixture of other emotions too, wanting to see the conversations Siffrin had with them that they don’t remember, feeling guilty that they didn’t notice soon enough, terrified that Siffrin is hiding something else. I mean, Siffrin straight up did not mention the Loop battle to them at all, even after they promised to talk! so they’d be worried on what happened there already)

Honestly I think all of them would also be exhausted and on bed rest after the whole quest to defeat the King was over, it took months of constant movement and stress so the whole family would crash hard afterwards. Cuz of that they’d be stuck together on like the infirmary or a private room with strict orders to take it easy, what better time to play the game than that?

It specifically includes dishonest methods, such as violence or lying. So when you're willing to resort to that kind of thing to achieve your goals, you say you're going to do something

The problem with this guy is that he has no bottom line. His ethics is preferences and suggestions, not a line he won't cross.

He puts an impressive amount of effort into doing the right thing but once he realises his goal can't be achieved with ethical means he expresses his deep regret about the fact and pushes further. With all other means in his disposal, some rather unsavory.

Some would say "children" but no, Liyue has plenty of children, he had no guarantee Morax would save everyone quickly enough.

This is a pretty interesting dynamic, morally grey guys are usually the opposite: they don't care much about ideals or have questionable ideals but there are moments when they stop and say "I won't do this". This one doesn't stop.

And I think a lot of people who demonise him pick up on this trait, even if they don't put it into words.

This also makes his family even more important. If there's anything that can stop this guy it's them.

(I'm also curious about him always keeping his word. his loyalty is to people, not principles, but keeping promises is a bit of both. so maybe he has exactly one principle and that's his bottom line

but then guys in all the previous iterations of his samsara seemed to break their word in one way or another)

Ironically, this is also why he is so idealistic. It's easy when in a critical situation you can just decide "well, I'm evil anyway" and push the pesky ideal aside.

(it's not bigotry, he still genuinely believes in everything, he just goes the "oh well, it's an ideal I couldn't uphold because I'm a bad person" route instead of "maybe something is wrong with the ideal")

Because like. She's not supposed to be bad at keeping secrets. She's not supposed to be vulnerable, kind, or hopeful. She's not supposed to get attached to anything or anyone

Yet, it's these things that allow her to get close to the pc and the group as a whole. The more she fails to keep Shar's secrets the more she opens up to you, and the more she opens up to you the more you have the chance to build a relationship with her, and it's through having that relationship that she finds the courage to defy Shar

If she had been a better Sharran she never would have built that bond at all, she wouldn't have felt safe to make the decision she did, and probably no one would have trusted her enough to let her decide to begin with

Shadowheart is saved because she is loved, and Shadowheart is loved because she cannot stop being herself no matter how hard she tries
