I had this fic idea before falling asleep, I don't know if anything like this already exists (probably). Be warned that I didn't revise this once.

First of all Arthur and Merlin absolutely love each other, but they start off as friends with benefits. Until one day Arthur can't handle anymore

“Say you're mine. Say you'll be mine and no one else's”

“I'll be yours as long as you're also mine”

And yeah, they go exclusive after that (they already were but now was official) and give them a few months or years, but eventually Merlin becomes Arthur's secret consort and they are officially official, mother's sigil and all, because like I said, they Love each other.

Anyways, eventually Uther finds out they are together and he gets tomato-red furious, and only calms down when Arthur agrees to marry for political reasons, whomever Uther chooses for him.

The thing is, Uther kind of learns to like them as a couple, not that they go all out and about telling the world, because is still supposed to be a secret, but Uther sees the sweet glances and the smiles, and most of all he sees how willingly they are to die for each other and it just sits right with him. Uther thinks Merlin makes a good consort for his son and is in no hurry to marry him off anymore.

But of course, nothing really stays the same, and the day comes where the only way Uther finds to keep peace with another kingdom is to marry Arrhur off to some other king's daughter, and he hates it because he knows and he approves of his relationship with the skinny boy that makes his son so happy.

And then comes the heartbreaking scene of Arthur telling Merlin the news and the even more heartbreaking scene before Arthur's wedding day

“I won't be able to be only yours anymore”

“Maybe not, but I'll always be yours”

And they cry through the night holding each other tightly as if the world were to end, because it just might.

And the next day, Uther can freaking see it 

They are both behaving, no one is causing a scene but from up close you can notice how bloodshot their eyes are. And he can see it in the way they refuse to make eye contact, he can see it as he sees Merlin silently crying as Arthur shows the crowd their future queen.

And Uther hates it.

And is not like the new princess is a horrible person but she just doesn't like Merlin, she doesn't want to share her husband. She makes Merlin leave Arthur's Chambers and forbids him to follow Arthur all day unnecessarily, but she knows she can't win.

Not when the King himself gives Merlin royal chambers on the same floor as theirs, and especially not when Arthur doesn't spend the night on his.

Arthur has duties, though. Husband duties. And he has to fulfill them and it kills Merlin.

And Uther can just watch helplessly as Merlin's gaze follows Arthur and his wife and he stays behind as the servant he is supposed to be and is so unfair because she doesn't even love Arthur 

And they keep growing apart but keep fighting for each other because they are fucking made to be together so they still try even if the best they can do for days is hold each other for a few minutes just breathing each other in because that's home and that's where they are meant to be

It continues for a while until one day comes where Arthur goes out without Merlin

And at the same time while he is away, his wife finds herself with child, and everyone's so happy and Merlin just has to leave for a while because he can't handle it

But again, things never go as planned and the knights return with Arthur's body, because something went wrong 

And you can honestly choose what it was, a curse, a spell, bandits, a boar, a mercenary, it doesn't matter because Arthur is dead now and Merlin wasn't there to save him

And now Uther has to deal not only with the death of his only son, and with his widow wife with child but he'll be the one to tell his consort and is so devastating 

Merlin's face turns from sad to haunting and it's like the world ended and Uther can see himself in him, he can see the death of his love weighting on Merlin the way it weighed on him, if not worse

Arthur's body stays inside the castle for two days before the burial so the people of the castle can say their goodbyes and no one has seen Merlin, they are not even sure he went to see Arthur 

And everyone is concerned about the poor widow all dressed in black, she is sad, sure, but the tears rolling from her eyes are just for show, Arthur was barely a friend, but he was good to her

Arthur's body is being prepared for removal, overseen by his family and close friends before the public ceremony took place, and that's when it happens 

Merlin just barges in and stops everything. 

He's spent two days working in it, and he just doesn't care anymore, as long as it works

And Uther once again just watches as this skinny boy fills the room with golden light, and he can't even care to do anything because honestly he would do everything for his love if he could 

And everyone watches as the light coming from Merlin starts being absorbed by Arthur through his chest and is so beautiful to watch

Arthur starts to sit up as Merlin lowers down and they just have a moment, a small second where they are both there and Merlin just rests his head against Arthur's 

“I would do it again. I would do it as many times as needed because I love you and you are my everything”

“Merlin?”

And then the light is gone, and so is Merlin 

And Uther watched as his widowed son holds his lover's body, just like he did over twenty years ago

-Barbie and Ken made their way into the real world to look for the person playing with them. They had begun to notice sadness feeling them and the urge to cry even when they didn’t know what they were crying about.

-Now instead of Gloria playing with Barbie, They were looking for a young woman. They both had saw glimpses of your life. Every part that made you feel as if you were alone.

-You were never one that anyone was into. You watched all the happy couples around you, comforting each other, helping each other, and loving one another.

-You couldn’t help but be sad. After all you only had a few acquaintances if you could even refer to them as such. You were to shy to talk to anyone really.

-One day you had decided to take your Barbie and Ken off the shelf and just hold them. Hoping they would bring some comfort. The doll form did nothing but fuel your sadness.

-Barbie and Ken would find you at your house. You didn’t really get out much so that was their best option. They also didn’t want to freak anybody out like she did with Sasha.

-Of course they saw glimpses of you but when you opened your door it was as if their plastic hearts (if they even had one) begun to beat and their once sad feelings dissolved into a deep love.

-Seeing two beautiful people at your door wasn’t a sight you see everyday. You hid slightly behind the door quietly questioning what they were doing at your house of all places.

-They introduced themselves and or course you were skeptical. Barbie? Ken? That’s crazy. Not that you were calling them crazy but the whole situation.

-They slightly pushed their way inside, making you question if you had asked them to come in based on the way you didn’t protest.

-Barbie and Ken looked around the house in awe. This is where their ‘human’ lived… well at least for now. They were taking notice of any aspect that may be needed for their now decided little trip to Barbieland.

-Ken was beginning to understand the dynamics of the real world and how it treated women. He didn’t want you to go through that. After all, you were someone who cared enough to get a Ken doll. He instantly fell in love.

-Barbie was the same. She didn’t like how she felt when she visited the real world the first time. The constant anxiety (as she learned it was called) and the worry for her safety. She hated it. She couldn’t imagine how you felt, the constant struggle.

-You actually ended up believing them in a naive, innocent trust. You wanted to believe them so you did. It ended up working out for you after all they were the real Barbie and Ken.

-They even gifted you roller skates. After you had agreed to temporarily visit, Barbie went upstairs and packed anything she deemed sentimental and left the rest. You didn’t even notice; distracted by the blush on your face as Ken flirted with you. Complimenting your beauty and the shine in your eyes while he threw in questions about your daring life and family.

-Then you were off. Luckily you didn’t live too far from Venice beach. You were in awe the entire time. Happiness flooded your veins every time they would compliment you or touch you.

-Once in Barbieland they drove you to her dreamhouse. The idea of the open walls and non existent food or liquids was a hard idea to get behind but being here with your two new ‘friends’ made it al the easier.

-They took you to the beach after you had a tour of the dreamhouse. It was interesting to see the waves as if they were frozen in place.

-There was quite a few Ken and Barbies on the beach. They were chilling in beach chairs, playing volleyball, or even just running towards the water.

-Barbie and Ken didn’t know how jealous they would be the second one of the others looked your way.

-They had begun to feel possessive over you. You were their human. Not the others. You belonged to them and them to you.

-Barbie and Ken got you some ice cream and decided it would be best to leave so they didn’t keep glaring at the people they would call friends or even family.

-You guys even watched a movie together, at some point during the movie you had fallen asleep, you legs on Barbie and your head cuddled into Kens abs.

-They had a talk after making sure you were asleep. Now that they knew you, they couldn’t live a day without you. They would consider going back to your world and staying but time there was so fickle compared to Barbieland. They didn’t want to settle for anything less than eternity with you.

-They woke you up in order to go get changed, very regretfully, but they didn’t want you to be uncomfortable in your clothes or if they changed you, even if they wouldn’t see anything with the way the closet works.

-Barbie talked about how she only had the one bed but it was definitely big enough for you three to share.

-You had started to decline, saying you were fine sleeping on the couch, after all you were only there for the night.

-They two of them quickly denied it and shut down every time you tried to bring it up. It only ended with the three of you in the bed. You between the two blondes.

-Why me? You would ask them as you laid in the comfortable heart shaped bed, one of their arms in your hair, lightly playing with it and the other persons wrapped around your stomach. You never felt so safe.

-“Why not you?” They would tell you all these things. How you were beautiful from the inside out. How they felt when you smiled at them or held their hand when you got nervous. How you looked to them for guidance as they led you through this whole new world.

-To them, you were everything. You were their reason for life. Quickly they became yours. Maybe it was the Stockholm syndrome, or it was the fact they showed you the love you wished for. Even if you didn’t imagine it with three of you in Barbieland.

-If you ever mentioning visiting your house in the real world, they will immediately deter you from the thought. They would convince you all you needed was right there.

-They decided to avoid Kens and Barbies has much as possible. Sometimes every Allan. They wouldn’t you to depend on them they were your friends and family all in one. They would make sure the others would forever be acquaintances.

-If one even looked at you or complimented you, you were immediately hidden behind one of them, out of sight as the other fake laughed and distracted them.

-It was perfect and you were perfect for them. After all, it’s your wish.

so your parents couldnt help but youve heard so many stories and legends of your grandmother who also knows magic and you hope beyond hope that maybe if you go to her she can understand you and help you except you meet her and she's angry and mean and grumbling about how her son raised you badly. the only times you hear her praise you is when you discover that despite all your wishes, you are actually extremely good at separating men's ghosts from their bodies. you kill people well and get praised for it and nobody seems to notice or maybe not care that you aren't exactly okay with this and aren't doing well.

rephrase: one guy notices. and he is the nicest guy you have ever met. perhaps even the nicest guy on the whole planet. just the most terrifyingly nicest guy. and he keeps calling you his friend and being nice to you and you're cringing away from him like a dog thats been hit too many times because there is no way that this is actually who he is. real people don't act like he does. real people aren't always nice like he is. it's a trick and you won't fall for it, and anyway, even if he is actually this nice, you don't know how to deal with that even a little bit because if people like him exist then where were they? where were they when you were a child, where were they when you were a teenager? nice things don't get to happen to people like you. you aren't going to fall for it, because if people could be really as nice as you, they would have come before you were this badly wounded. how dare you come to me when i am this and all.

anyway then you try to save a nine year old who was born wrong like you from an adult tormenting and torturing her. and you fail and the nine year old dies and after going through shock you raise her corpse to speak with it and you just confirm to yourself that yeah. yeah, no, you don't get to have nice things. you're only good at one thing and it's death, not life. because if you're good at anything other than death then that just means you werent good enough at life when it actually mattered most.

Ben, growing up in the Sparrow Academy, never got a little kitten or puppy for Christmas. Christmas didn't even exist. The best Christmas they ever got as kids was when Grace brought home special treats for the Sparrow kids on the special day. That day was special for every other kid in the world except them. They didn't get presents, or new toys, new books, new clothes, they didn't get to spend solid family time together.

Reginald wasn't as bad as he was to the Umbrella Academy in this timeline, but he was like one of those parents who refused to do anything fun. Any childish belief or dream would be shot down instantly. You shoot down the idea of Santa Clause to a bunch of little kids with superpowers and act like it's outrageous they ever believed it in the first place.

All Ben ever wanted growing up for Christmas was a cat. He had a soft spot for them.

He always felt bad for the stray cats on the street that he'd sneak out to feed with Fei. They were always too scared to want to be pet, but they were confident enough to sit with the still little kids. Ben didn't have that many great childish memories either. Instead of trying to hold it all together like the glue of the family, like he was in another timeline, he was miserable. He grew cold.

He essentially had nothing to really live for until you came along.

And you brought a cat home one random evening after learning how he'd always wanted a cat. You kind of forgot that he wasn't much different from you. He didn't have the chance to have a pet growing up unless you counted Christopher because he was a high-maintenance little asshole. Over time, he grew up into an adult, too mature and old to want to care about Christmas or wanting a cat for Christmas.

You carry the kitten in your hands, entering with a bit of struggle through the front door. A litter box, food, toys, and other essentials sit in your car as you'd wanted to surprise Ben first, then make him help you drag everything inside.

You find him sitting on the couch, his attention halfed between the television on Cartoon Network and his phone in his hand, scrolling through the hellscape that is Twitter. He looks up at you, quickly saying hello, asking how your day was.

You're silent, a wide smile on your face as the kitten looks up at you, curled up in your hand.

He then notices the little creature and he furrows his eyebrows. He sets his phone down and stands in front of you, seeing the little kitten in your hands.

"Where- why?"

"You never got to have a pet growing up, neither did I. We both deserve to have something else to live for, especially something so adorable," you smile.

You hand him the kitten, allowing the small animal to sniff out Ben and begin to trust him. He softly strokes the kitten's small head, unknowing of how to react. After becoming cold and miserable, he didn't really care for animals anymore.

"When I told you about never being able to take in strays as a kid, I didn't insinuate I wanted one now"

Safe to say Ben didn't want the cat, then.

You didn't get rid of her, though. You couldn't do that to your soul or to her. You deserved that kitten even if Ben didn't. He didn't even have to look at her for all you cared. She was yours then. You didn't really understand why he was being such an ass about it, though.

But, you return home from work once more, expecting to see Ben on the couch glaring at your playful kitten once again. But, as you enter the living room, that's not what you'd found.

Ben was on the floor, his right hand swiftly moving over the carpet, the kitten's eyes quickly following as she sits in front of him. The cat lays down, her butt in the air, ready to pounce. Ben sits with a smile on his face, allowing the cat to tackle and scratch his hand up. He picks her up, cradling her in his arms as he pets her small head.

You raise an eyebrow, setting your things to the side. "I thought you hated the idea of having a cat?"

Ben quickly looks up at you, allowing the cat to run free. "Uh..."

You shake your head with a smile, "Glad you warmed up to her, dickwad"

"I've honestly been hiding it since, like, week two," he shrugs. "I was trying to hold my grudge."

Carol has to remind Tommy that Steve is more dangerous than he presents when he mentions helping hunt Munson.

She reminds him that Munson is Steve's now, in ways that she knows Tommy wanted to be but that Steve never noticed, she reminds him that Munson is untouchable now.

She forgets that Tommy has never seen Steve truely angry, that he has never witnessed too many eyes, too sharp teeth, and bodies never found because they no longer existed, he's never witnessed the danger of touching what is Steve's.

Sometimes she forgets that she and Steve were friends before Steve and Tommy were.

She remembers when Steve was still new, not young, she's not sure he was ever young in the same way humans were, because she knows, she knows that Steve, Steve is not human.

She remembers a boy, or, it presented itself as a boy, but sometimes his head would swivel like an owl to look at her when she came up behind him, he'd grin too widely, all the way to his ears at the sight of her, and his laugh, his laugh at the very beginning, was an eerie mimic of laughter that sounded more like an echo off the quarry walls.

Carol hadn't liked him much at the beginning, she'd been afraid of him, like a sane person, she'd known in her most primal survival brain that Steve was dangerous, a thing to be feared.

And then he had saved her, she'd been playing in her yard, she'd lived near Steve back then, and someone had grabbed her, headed out of Hawkins, she never knew whether they planned on ransoming her back to her parents or doing worse, and she never brought it up after Steve had helped her out of the van and walked her home, not even a trace of blood from her kidnappers left to say they existed.

She'd learned then what being Steve's meant then, it meant protection and safety, it meant ignoring the weird that Steve did and gently reminding him that normal people don't have swivel heads and they eat vegitables not just raw meat, it meant sharing food and space with zero boundries because Steve needed to be close to them, it meant dating Tommy because Steve needed to see a normal relationship because he couldn't risk pursuing Munson, couldn't risk people disappearing because they jumped two gay men.

Carol had always known Munson was Steve's, ever since he'd first seen him in the school, she'd had to stop him then from going to him, had to remind him of the dangers, of people and how they hated.

Carol had been protecting Steve for a very long time before he stepped away from them, before something made him walk away from them.

She knew he wanted to keep them out away from whatever danger he now faced, but she missed him, he had been her brother, her best friend, the one she could tell anything to, like her little crush on Nancy Wheeler, the main reason she thinks he dated her, so Carol could hang out with her.

Steve didn't feel things like humans, Carol knew, he'd date anyone Carol pushed him to, let rumors fly about his sexual proess, something Carol had started herself because Steve likely didn't have sex the same way they did either.

But she missed him, which explained why she'd broken up with Tommy and come here to the Harrington house.

Tommy would never accept what Steve was, never accept his new family, because Carol knew that those children were more Steve's babies that just kids he babysat, she'd seen the way he took care of his baby bag of flour when they'd had to pass their health class, he'd stolen hers and Tommy's too when he realized Tommy was just going to buy a new one to pass.

There was something about the way Steve had cared for the lifeless bags of flours that told Carol that one day she'd be faking a surrogate pregnancy to explain away Steve aquireing a child.

Carol knocked at the door and was not entirely surprised when Munson answered.

His eyes widened then he called for Steve, not inviting her in, which she didn't blame him.

Steve appeared and Carol smiled softly, he looked as he always did to her eyes, too wide smile, too sharp teeth and so many eyes, but those eyes, unlike how they once were, were bright and lively, filled with happiness, much better than the emptiness she normally saw.

"Carol." Steve said, voice slightly different.

"Steve, what did I tell you about Munson, hmm?" She asked, hands going to her hips, in mock annoyance.

Steve kept smiling as he leaned into her space in a hug, which had her wrap her arms around him, feeling, like she usually did when he hugged her, completely surrounded, engulfed, protected.

"Now, do I need to find a reasonable lie for your kids about why people have just vanished or do they know?" Carol asked as she pulled back to look at Steve's face.

Munson blinked, "She knows?" He shouted, drawing the others to the door.

Steve looked at him, head turned owlishly, "I wasn't always a very good mimic."

Carol tapped his hand twice to remind Steve that he was doing something Other, which made him swivel to look back at her.

"You should come in, there is a lot to explain if you intend to stay. You should also meet Robin, you'll like her." Steve smiled too widely, as he pulled her in, and she knew that she and Robin would likely end up on a date or two, if only to appease Steve and to say they wouldn't work out.

But for whatever reason, part of Carol hoped that Steve was right, that she would like this Robin.

She deserved a reward, afterall, she'd been keeping Steve safe for a very long time, just like he'd kept her safe, that was what siblings did afterall.

Just being honest here but I am trying so hard to not hate Judith… not because I hate her but because of all these yt feminist who only started liking her because RJ exist. So often, a black woman has a baby with no support, a baby by a different man, yet Rick truly wanted and planned for his little namesake. Michonne was content, Rick is the one who Wanted RJ. So when you have a flipped narrative where Lori, a white woman is the baby mama to Shane, bringing a white child to Rick that by yt feminist standards, Rick should want her and not have mixed feelings like we saw him have in the beginning, considering he couldn’t even look at Judith when she was first born. (considering that a normal human would have a hard time accepting a child that will forever remind you of how shitty your wife and best friend were) usually it would be a black child in Judith’s shoes, but it’s not. Rick has two kids, and the black one was wanted, planned for in a two parent and healthy home that wasn’t toxic, unlike Judith, who comes from a background usually associated with blackness

They use exscuses like, “ he’s not badass he doesn’t do anything like Carl .” But let’s be honest. RJ is 7… we’ve never seen Carl that young.. yet we’ve seen Judith at Carls age, and yet she hasn’t done anything remotely cool like Carl. Listen, I love how Michonne loves Judith because she truly adopted her, not because she had to but because she wanted to…. Because Shoto existed and was male, Enji didn't pay anymore attention to her than he did any of his other non-shoto kids. That was until one night at dinner when Yen called Toya Daddy. After this, Enji cared. But like Too Fucking much. He became super protective and overbearing. And rest in peace, Toya and Rei [not literally doe] that night because guess who was getting punished for Yen's mistake. And when Yen started growing into her body, things went from bad to worse for her as Enji's overprotective and overbearing became covertly perverse. Bathing with Yen choosing what she wears. When Rei confronted him about this... she was punished for even thinking it was possible. Enji isn't stupid or delusional, though he knows doing anything directly to her would be wrong, so he doesn't, but he does fantasize.

Rei's relationship with Yen is complicated at best. She is Platonic Yandere for her absolutely. She doesn't let Yen learn how to use her quirk because it could harm her. [Enji support this decision] However, most of Rei's punishments once Enji cared about Yen are Yens fault. Yen made a new friend Rei was getting punished. She kinda has been sneakily feeding Yen herbal anti-quirk remedies. [Enji didn't notice this one, though.. just assuming her weakness comes from the lack of training with her quirk.] She knows about Enji's feelings, having heard him moan their daughters name while he yanks it. But she's too afraid to say anything, thinking he might act on his feelings if anyone knew about them.

Dabi / Toya has the second most fucked relationship with Yen. As said before, Yen saw him as her father figure even though they were only 11 years apart. He sympathizes with her the most she was what father wanted but still wasn't enough. She was only 2 when he ran off, but he was still uncomfortably attached to her. Outsiders who would see photos of the two together would always raise an eyebrow. Why is his hand there as he's holding her up. After he woke up from his coma, he became more stalkery towards his family as a whole, but his sister was the most of all. He even became her only friend [Much to Rei's dismay.] in the form of a pin pal. He absolutely never ever put her in any danger. Ever. Even if it would hurt Enji the most, he couldn't handle that. When he blew the whistle on his abusive family, he pointed out the pedophic incestuous relationship his dad has with Yen. He even accused his mom of knowing and supporting his vulgarities to lessen her own abuse. [This was Rei's biggest fear]

Fuyumi isn't Yandere, not even Platonic yandere. She's just obvious. 100% obvious to her only sisters suffering. She knows dad is more protective of her, but she doesn't see the incest. Or the yandere. She also downplays alot of the abuse. But that's with all of the abuse. Not just Yens.

Natsuo is a Platonic yandere who actually has Yens happiness and health in mind incomparasson to the rest of his yandere family members who are all selfish to some extent. And he is, too. To some extent. [ You'll see in a bit.] He is the only one who is fully aware of all of his families yandereness. When the video came out his response was 'pot calling the kettle big brother what the fuck.' He knows that his mom is poisoning Yen but he doesn't know how and what to do about it. But he knows it's happening. He also knows about Shotos' actions and was very very very supportive of him going off to school and leaving. He regularly invites Yen to play games in his room until she falls asleep and he let's her sleep in his room. He does this to protect her from Shoto.

Last but certainly not least Shoto. He has a love-hate relationship with Yen except with yandere and incest. He is the only one who is physical with her, which is awful but good because at least only one of them is. He and her went through puberty around the same time, so he experimented on her often. Due to them having the same quirk, sometimes he reflects on her, and when he's having a bad day with his quirk, he punishes her for it. He is the only one who actually spanks Yen, but it is never when she needs it. Only when he decided she needed it.

Other things that happened in this au.

When the video came out, instead of bringing everyone together, it did the opposite. Rei being fearful of her youngest daughters virginity [she doesn't have because Shoto. But Rei doesn't know that] tries to run away with Yen. She doesn't get to far because Natsuo who knows about everything and is like 'um no fuck that. you've been poisoning her somehow. You can't be trusted either, and so he takes his baby sister from his mom.

Rei demands a divorce, and she is granted one once the video is released. Enji falls into an intense depression because of his wife leaving and taking his baby girl. And now the world knows about his darkest secret, and no one is supporting him. And because no one in this UN has a PR person, all are under the impression he is a child predator, which he kinda is if your his daughter [which you are oof.] Once the divorce goes through Natsuo takes his mom to court to demand custody of Yen because the poisoning... while all this is happening, Dabi has been secretly planning on kidnapping Yen.

Dabi has a Daddy kink for Yen. So does Enji, but ironically, she never calls him daddy only ever Enji or 'dever.

The original baeddels, transandrophobia, social isolation

Baeddels were/are a grooming cult targeting transfems. In the early to mid 2010s, they targeted newly out transfems and got them to adopt this shitty, alienating ideology, pushing away all IRL and online queer friends. Baeddels would inundate the girl with terrifying stories of other trans women being hurt and gradually indoctrinate her into their worldview.

When most cis people and people who were AFAB hear about “AFAB privilege” from a transfem, they never want anything to do with that transfem ever again. Baeddelism is dressed up in progressive-sounding and trans-affirming language but it’s ultimately just “vaginas oppress me” incel shit and most people who aren’t autistic trans girls or chronically online are able to clock it. Transfems are already stereotyped in the right-wing media as misogynistic transvestites who hate women, and here this targeted transfem is saying shit like “AFAB privilege,” and “uterus duty,” and claiming that female-born people don’t understand misogyny. She becomes radioactive.

At the time the original baeddel cult was active, this tactic was pretty effectively isolating for the transfem targeted. This shit could make a girl homeless in a few months if the cult really wanted her. At her lowest point, her new online friends would offer her a place to live as long as she joined their toxic polycule. The toxic polycule was the point of all this. At this point, all the targeted transfem’s old friends would have blocked her number or been blocked by her.

Modern “neo-baeddelists,” transradfems who have adopted the cult’s ideology, sometimes accuse people who notice their existence of being TERFs. That’s mostly bullshit like everything they say. However, from what I learned in reading radfem blogs, there is some correlation between radfems and people who complain about baeddels.

A lot of TERF bloggers claim to have “peaked” (become transphobic) after learning what baeddels believe about female-born people and their relation to gendered privilege. So not only does this ideology poison transfems against their potential allies, it also poisons potential allies against transfems.

Now that I’ve given all of that background information, I want to talk about transandrophobia bloggers again on this blog. I always speculated that there would be a transmasculine version of baeddelism, because I believe in gender equality. I am not surprised that the transmisandry bloggers didn’t achieve it, but the transandrobros did—after all, the TMRAs were mostly straight. Separatism is inherently gay. In this case, these separatist movements seem to exist for the purpose of sexual harassment and victimization, and for the purpose of fulfilling the sexual sadism of the dominant group members.

It seems as if the transandrophobia sphere may function similarly to the original baeddel cult. Transmascs adopt this ideology or interact with these blogs, and thus are ostracized from their mixed-gender communities. They begin to again believe bioessentialsit myths sold to them in their youth, and partake in behaviors which embolden the stereotypes others have of them.

I don’t think there’s a single-family home in Portland where a bunch of transmascs live crammed together while they emotionally and sexually abuse each other, as there was with baeddels and transfems. At least, I hope there isn’t.

However, it seems as if the ringleaders of transandrophobia discourse will subject victims to online sexual harassment and humiliation, even if they never make contact in real life. There appear to be accusations of such behavior on other blogs, but the authors turned off reblogs, so I assume they do not yet want these stories shared.

Let this be a lesson for everyone who reads this. Learn to become comfortable with yourself. Comfortable by yourself. When you level up in life, you need to mentally level up as well. Even though Nicki has all this money and a great reputation as a rapper and all these designer deals, etc, in her mind she is still that little girl stuck in Trinidad with her abusive father, abusive brother, and a mother who never defended her as a child.

Do you have any deeper lore about Windflight? I always thought he was interesting

The sole kit of Squirrelwhisker an Eaglestorm, the result of a half-clan relationship and born under Oakstar's reign, Windflight was treated incredibly poorly by ThunderClan. The only thing that spared him and his mother from the same fate as Mapleshade was Squirrelwhisker accepting any and all punishments and bowing to Oakstar and the clan like a sniveling kit. Some lie and say Windkit was named to honor his origins and where he came from, but in truth it was a grim reminder he was not a true ThunderClan cat, and he had to wear that half-clan badge constantly.

Things didn't truthfully get better until Doestar came into power, and even then, no apologies ever came. The beatings and harassment stopped, and some felt safe to actually speak to him. Squirrelwhisker had done everything in her power to protect his fluffy, tufted ears. She hid his scratches with careful grooming, Windflight looking like a cat no one ever would guess was beaten on as a mere kitten.

Squirrelwhisker looked awful though. Despite being Oakstar's own niece, she had her beautiful ears shredded, her fluffy pelt, patchy and worn. She smiled, eyes bright and glittering for her beloved son, but Windflight hated she felt like she had to do that. He wanted, more than anything, for his mother to be able to cry.

In time he too learned to pretend. He'd smile and joke, all while masking a bitterness towards the cats he called clanmates. He loved his mother, and that was it.

Well, that wasn't entirely true. See Windflight had one friend - a loner named Reina. She didn't know his history, didn't see a reason to judge someone's parentage, and approached him with no judgement in her gaze. He met her quietly in the evenings - Oakstar often having banished him to fend for himself during the dead of night. With Doestar's leadership came ambivalence, and with ambivalene gave some reassurance. Windflight considered simply leaving with Reina, but he could not abandon his mother - not ever.

Reina joined ThunderClan, and took the name Rainfur. She mothered two kits with Windflight - Dapplekit and Thrushkit. Rainfur, being one to never care where someone came from, took in Harepounce's kits to nurse alongside her own. A selfless act that was celebrated soon led to tragedy. The pressure was too much on Rainfur's body, and the shortage of prey led to the she-cat becoming weak. She would die while Dapplekit and Thrushkit still sat at her belly, and Windflight's world was snatched away.

Older cats whispered of the kits being cursed. After all, their mother was a loner, and their father was half-clan. They wouldn't make it far. Those innocent wriggling bundles that he created, that he was supposed to love... he didn't. Windflight hated this clan, hated the kits were born, and hated that Reina was gone. She would never be Rainfur. She would always be Reina to him - before this clan asked things of her when they would've spat in her face if she ever asked in turn.

He merely existed, going about life in stride. After Squirrelwhisker passed in the elder's den, there was little he saw drive for. He took each day as it came, one by one, pretending and smiling, but his smile never reaching his eyes. His kits would grow, looking up at him with pride, and his answers back to them were hollow. As they grew older, they saw it, more and more. Dappletail noticed he never aked how they were, or came to them first. How Windflight never called them his kits, merely by their names at all times. Thrushpelt saw how he didn't offer praise until someone else did so first, mimicking and following along. Windflight was an empty shell, whose expression was emotionless and hollow when no one was around.

"Why don't you just leave?" Thrushpelt would eventually ask. "Why father Poppydawn's kits? Why pretend as if you care?" If he didn't have anyone he loved, if he didn't care about his litters, if he didn't care about Poppydawn now, who looked up at him with so much adoration, why did he stay? Why did he not become the very loner Reina was, the one he did love?

And in truth, Windflight had no answer.

Because he had always been in ThunderClan. He had always been in the very place he hated. He stewed in despair, but never tried to make change.

Windflight was a coward.

Red Hood and the Outlaws #1 (2011)

It's been a while since I've read RHATO, so I figured I'd reread it - and if I'm doing that, why not make you all suffer with me? I will probably get tired of this before I finish all the various series, but let's see how far we get.

Roy, that would probably work better if your bow had a string.

The issue begins with Roy in a prison in Qurac for trying to overthrow a dictator. He's rescued by Jason, in disguise as a pastor in a fat suit (sigh). There's so much wrong with these opening pages: the fat suit, the writing off an entire Middle Eastern nation as evil and corrupt, the fact that there's no way even a collapsed bow would fit inside a hollowed-out bible, the lazy way the panel layouts waste space...and yet. And yet.

These pages. THESE FUCKING PAGES. "His name is Roy Harper. He's an idiot. Nice guy, but an idiot." "His name is Jason Todd. A lot of people say he's crazy...Let's just say the Red Hood is my kind of crazy!"

This kind of parallel narration always makes me think of the 2003 Superman/Batman comic, which used it extensively, to extremely (and likely unintentionally?) homoerotic effect. After I read this issue, I told a friend that I got it now: Red Hood and the Outlaws was Superman/Batman for edgelords.

Which is to say, I'm pretty sure I started shipping these assholes just from these first terrible pages.

(But seriously, there are three pages up there and only five panels. Five panels! Plus some pointless maroon boxes that don't do anything! I want my money back.)

This panel is super misleading, because it implies that Roy and Jason know each other well enough for Jason to tease Roy about being a chatterbox, but later issues will show that barely know each other at this point. But then, trying to keep the backstories straight in this or any Lobdell book is like watching sand run out between your fingers.

And again here, it implies that they were already friends, a team, partners...something. But later we'll learn that they only met once, and it was years ago, when they were kids, so...what gives?

(This page is actually interesting, because Jason is constantly saying playfully mean things to Roy and Roy never seems to mind, but here he clearly hurts Roy, and he knows it.)

To add insult to injury, Jason immediately announces that he's fucked Kori. You'll notice I aggressively ignore this in every fic I've ever written. Part of that is because I love Secret Virgin Jason, but also it just doesn't mesh with his and Kori's relationship throughout the rest of the series or his hilarious lack of game in general, and it's also so inextricably part of Amnesiac Sex Doll Kori that I just want nothing to do with it.

HATE. HAAAAAATE. The devious smile on Jason's face in the bottom row and Roy's calculating expression are so deeply disgusting to me. "This woman can't meaningly consent! She's like a cave fish with a vagina! Sweet!" Scott Lobdell is a vile human being and so is everyone who signed off on this piece of shit. (Fun fact: this was a HUGE controversy when the New 52 launched and the outcry was so loud they walked it back in a later issue when Kori tells Roy she...just lied about all of that for no reason? Okay.)

Also, "ask her about the gang you used to hang with." Uh...what gang is that, Jason? Because Donna didn't exist at this point, Wally was 12, Garth was a literal baby, Vic joined the League immediately upon getting his powers, and Gar was a child being tortured in a lab somewhere. So was it just Roy, Dick, and Raven? And they certainly weren't the Titans, because Tim's team was the founders in this continuity...which Lobdell should have known, since he was also writing that book.

The person asking to speak to Jason is Essence, his ex, who tells him something cryptic about murder victims with missing organs.

YOU DON'T KNOW MOST OF THOSE PEOPLE EITHER, ROY!!! "Remember Garth? The baby?" (Literally, he is a baby who shows up for one panel. In Atlantis.) And who the fuck is Dustin?

Anyway, Kori propositions Roy and he's like "Sure, why not." Did the target audience actually think this was hot? It's so depressing.

Essence tells Jason that something called the Untitled has attacked something called the All Caste, and Jason makes a surprised Pikachu face.

Elsewhere, a guy in a basement looks at a picture of Kori online.

I will admit to liking two things about this page: the fact that Jason's helmet is in the nightstand implies that Roy and Kori fucked in Jason's bed, which is either hilariously rude or an invitation that sailed right over Jason's head, and the red hand print on Roy's chest. It's the first glimpse of a recognizable Roy in this book; he did always like getting manhandled by scarily powerful women, pre-Flashpoint.

Jason goes...somewhere, to a temple of sorts with a lot of vague cultural appropriation going on, and kneels over the corpse of an old lady. "I'm sorry I wasn't here for you, Ducra," he says, before a bunch of people attack him. END OF ISSUE!

And that's Red Hood and the Outlaws #1! It's confusing, misogynistic, lazily drawn, and not very funny, and there's no reason to be invested in whatever the fuck happened at the end because I know nothing about Ducra, Essence, the All Caste, or frankly, this version of Jason. And yet I am absolutely going to read nine more years' worth of this shit. See you in issue #2!

Random headcanon: He can do ballet and it's because it's something Talia taught him while he was growing up in the league and being trained to learn many other things. He's a skilled professional at it now because of this and also bonds with his sister Cass over it and will sometimes even join her in her dancing. He also tries teaching Jon too, which can become fun for them both, and his other friends sometimes as well whenever they get curious or don't actually understand it that much like they think they do. Damian also owns a pair of green ballet slippers, but usually keeps them put away in his closet to keep them safe and clean and only takes them out when he really does want to use them.

Unpopular opinion: Okay sooo, a lot of people believe that Talia's character just gets only more ruined because of Damian's existence or whatever, but I don't believe that at all. Damian may be her son and is big part of her life because of it, but his character itself has nothing to do with hers like that at all when it comes to hateful writers choosing to write her horribly and just as another evil, lunatic villain and whatever else. Some people even say that he stole her story, but he did grow up with her during those 10 years of his, so of course he's gonna have the same life she dealt with and is also gonna have to get through certain issues from it now too because of it. But the point is that if anyone's gonna get blamed for Talia's usual trash characterisation, it should be the writers who hate her, NOT Damian who has many writers of his own who don't even treat him that well or like him that much at all either just like with Talia. Trying to pick on him is never going to fix anything about her. If Talia's ever gonna get anything better that she deserves in comics and other things, it needs to be done by writers who actually have care about her character and don't have anything weird against her that just only causes bad intentions of messing her up and then THAT'S what will finally start doing justice for her. And this not meant as an argument towards anyone or whatever btw, this is just me stating my opinion and beliefs about the whole thing

Favorite thing about them: I really always liked his leadership style, especially in the Teen Titans 2003 cartoon, which I grew up with

Least favorite thing about them: Only when he's potrayed as a dumb, clumsy guy in some canon stories just to lift up other characters and put them in a bigger spotlight instead. It makes no sense because he's a professional acrobat and always has been that way since he was a little kid, so how could he ever be so trippy all over the place as if there are invisible banana peels getting in the way everytime?! And he is very smart, especially with all of the important experience he has from his many years of hero work, so he's not dumb either and if he was, he wouldn't have made it so far with this kind of life because of it or ever get much done like he did because he has to overly depend on others knowledge

Brotp: Dick and Starfire, Beast boy, Raven, Cyborg (I know he's friends with many others too, but this is the group I grew up with and am more attached to, so they're my fave to see together)

Notp: DickBabs because I just don't think they really fit that well together at all and most times Barbara just makes Dick feel bad in a lot of ways with how she usually treats him in a romantic relationship, and that's not a healthy thing to deal with at all. And then there's also Batcest and Slade x Dick (which I don't even get at all because Slade is just such a horrible, gross and very toxic guy)

Random headcanon: Years ago, back when he would used to have long hair still, he one time had it tied up in a ponytail and then a villain chopped it off in half while fighting him. Dick was pissed and really kicked their butt for doing that

Unpopular opinion: People always think of Dick as the positive, sunshine guy and then there are the ones who get very mad about it and say that he's actually the angry, tough guy because him being super friendly and happy is just too "ooc". I don't listen to any of that stuff, because I believe that he's actually both. He IS a friendly guy with a warm, charming, humorous attitude that easily attracts others, and is very much an inspiration to many because of his positive, sunshine vibes as a great, hardworking hero, but none of it makes him dumb, weak or gullible, because he IS also the type who can become very serious and gets mad when he needs to be, also doesn't actually take bull from anyone, can be chaotic and crazy, works a LOT, is independent, does have a lot of intelligence and especially experience that should never be forgotten about just because he's nice, and also definitely has the determined mind to take care of things and get them done even though others will sometimes try to tell him what to do, but he doesn't actually listen because he's not the type to easily be controlled that way like a puppy would be and if he believes it's something that needs the attention and it's what should be done and no one else is doing it, then he will do it

Song I associate with them: Annihilate by Metro Bommin, Swae Lee, Lil Wayne & Offset (because it's about being fearless, embracing self strength and individuality, and becoming a much more independent person, and I think that totally fits Dick because he's not the type to fear much and hates being stuck under Batman's shadow and having independence is something that always had an important role in how Dick's life goes)

It's very nice and really shows the struggle he goes through as a hero a lot of the times. Also, I really always liked the way he draws Dick, because he doesn't just look like everyone else and isn't sharing same face syndrome with his brothers and Bruce either, it's just a look that's unique to only him and it fits him very well. It's the exact way I always imagine him looking like whenever I envision him in my mind, even the hairstyle that's given to him by this artist too!!!

If you just, thrust a sinner thats been 'redeemed' into heaven, and heaven didnt take notice until the redeemed appears at their doostep- how would the angels react?

Will that redeemed survive? Hell no. Well, depends. Whats their rules up in heaven? I hope season 2 showcase heaven's reactions, and maybe Emily will be fed up and join the demons down bellow??? That would be cool!!!

Keep in mind that I havent seen the show, but I have A LOT of qustions about redemption- bcs its so much complicated if you think about it, plus, redemptiom in hell??? Boy we gotta set up some rules.

First, what is redemption actually???

Redemption is-

an act of atoning for guilt, a fault, or a mistake, or the state of having atoned. an act or the state of being rescued. 

According to this

Im just going to use this meaning, bcs theres different meanings and i want to save the headache.

Basing off of this, you could argue that someone is redeemed by being rescued- which is uhm, unsual if your rescuer is the daughter of Lucifer, the next queen of hell. Hello?? I mean, in some swap aus, Adam being the one to 'rescue' the sinners make sense bcs he was a human too, like those sinners, he must've know(I assumed) the pain sinners go through. And, if we make the plot like 'oh heaven can make mistakes' then actually find a sinner thaat has little to no criminal background and is very 'angelike' and is someone who wants to change for the better, AND ACTUALLY GIVE THAT CHARACTER A MONOLOGUE ABOUT THEIR PAST AND THEM ACTUALLY WANTING TO FIX THEIR MISTAKES-

And question, if someone wants to be redeemed, and they are in hell, do whatever crimes and sins they did in hell will be hold accountable???

As I said, if you want to make redemption make sense, it has many complex layers...

Okay okay, im being sidetracked-

Charlie, the daughter of Lucifer being a 'rescuer' doesnt really make sense in Hazbin Hotel, UNLESS, she once had a sinner friend who goes through so much in the real world, but end up getting fluffed and end up in hell, where they met Charlie and still go so much, but was killed(either by angels or other demons). AFTER THAT, then the idea that Charlie, a hellborn who never felt what humans/sinners felt make sense to want to make sinners repent so that they dont feel what her sinner friend feel.

THAT, would be an amazing concept to explore. A hellborn whose sheltered all her life, met a sinner who goes through the toughness of life, then they bond over... anything, something, and learned about eachother. The sinner has hope that there is a better future, while the hellborn realizes theres more than meets the eye and that they're perception of reality has been scewed.

If Charlie advocats for hellborn's rights, then it still make sense bcs she IS an hellborn, and knows a bit of what her people suffered. Hell, Vaggie being her right hand man would only make it make sense, since Vaggie was a former angel, then she can give Charlie insights of heaven.

Just A Couple Of Fun Headcanons Of TD Characters (Cody)

Trigger Warning, there's some abusive relationships in this one. And a pet doesn't make it. Maybe don't read this if you're sensitive to that.

- Cody Anderson was born a rich kid and an only child.

- He was an accidental pregnancy. It was so accidental that the parents didn’t even recognize pregnancy and assumed it was just a bad weight gain. There was no baby shower. 

- No one showed up for Cody’s birth. He was born on April 1st. And they didn’t anticipate the situation was a baby, so when they called people and said “I had a baby”. They took it as an April Fools joke. Then when they first met Cody, they all asked, “Wait, when did you have a baby?”

- How did they get away with nine months not knowing it was pregnancy? They don’t trust doctors. Cody was a stay at home birth. He never had doctors appointments. He never met a vet. If he broke a leg, he was told to put ice on it. 

- The parents are THAT stupid, and they also don’t struggle cause they’re rich. Worse than that, they are both severe alcoholics. They don’t bathe. They don’t take care of themselves. They don’t do anything besides gamble money and play bingo. They are extremely neglectful of their kid, not even remembering he exists. At best, Cody is white noise.

- They don’t even remember Cody’s birthday. (Which is canon)

- Cody’s aunt was a babysitter for him. She’s more of a mom to him than his own mom. 

- Cody is kind of a Matilda, in the sense that he learned to take care of himself and act like an adult as a toddler. And the parents don’t notice it at all. 

- Cody taught himself how to read and take care of himself as a doctor would. When he had the flu when he was five, his parents told him to put ice on it. 

- Cody learned what sex was at the age of seven. Now all he wants to watch is porn, and due to bad parents, there are no consequences. (I do not understand people who say Cody is pure)

- Cody is a straight A student.

- When he was nine, his aunt got into a car crash. The parents said ‘put ice on it’. She survived. No thanks to them.

- They have a billiard table in their house. Cody loves playing the game. He’s self taught, and he got so good that nobody wants to play with him in gambling. That didn’t stop him from finding someone oblivious though.

- Cody’s alternate job idea was to be a doctor. He already had an interest in medical studies, so why not? I’d say his parents would be against it, but they don’t pay attention to him anyway. They wouldn’t care if he became a felon.

- Cody was used to the smell of alcohol. It’s his oxygen. But he managed not to end up like his parents. This is because in the fifth grade he had his first encounter with drugs. But he hated the taste so he trashed it. He later researched and found out about all the horrible stuff that they do to people, so he set up a campaign in his school to protect kids from a death sentence. They listened because the kid who offered Cody the drugs died from overdose a month later. So... success on Cody’s part? He saved lives.

- Cody ran away from home one of these nights to get a doctor’s opinion, and he helped prevent Cody from an addiction himself. They’re good friends now.

- Cody had a dog. Her name was Darling. He adopted her from a puppy charity. She became his best friend for his preteen/teen years. She was well trained, loyal, and sweet hearted to everything Cody did. 

- She got sick when he was fourteen. He tried to get his parents to take her to the vet, but they said it was pointless. So Cody stole their car and illegally tried to drive to the vet. Car crash. Only Cody survived. He had severely broken bones and was stuck in the hospital his entire Juvie time for the act.

- It took two weeks for the parents to realize what happened to their kid. They didn’t even bring up Darling’s death in the accident. They tried to bail Cody out of the hospital when he wasn’t ready to leave. They said he just needed some ice. Cody got so furious that he tried to use his good arm to punch his mom. At this point, the bottled up hatred for his family was set loose.

- Child services were finally called, and Cody was taken away. 

- Cody was quickly adopted by a non-drinking family, but they were also overworked and ignored him. So Cody decided to devote his life to three things: Billiard gambling, medical school, and a girlfriend.

- When asked about his past, Cody would often answer that his adopted parents were his blood parents. Sometimes he would tell the truth, but he’d laugh off the entire thing like they’re funny stories. (Imagine Peritto from Puss N Boots. He has almost that exact attitude.)

- It was only for a short while, but Cody had an older stepbrother who was going off to college across the country. This is why Cody was adopted. The stepbrother was a musician, and treated Cody like a bro. He was offered to write a song for the guy, and Cody spent sleepless nights perfecting this song. The song flopped, but it’s dear to the stepbrother even after he left their lives. I say that, but he and Cody are pen pals. 

- Cody would later use his internet presence to try and write more songs as a hobby. He felt uncomfortable with singing, but he wanted to at least inspire other musicians and not just be a nerd on medical studies on YouTube. Which by the way, were videos that were torn down because he was not a professional. 

- Cody’s school life is pretty separate to his home life. Despite being a straight A student, he’s your average joe. He’s smart when he needs to be, he’s helpful with projects, he’s decently social but doesn’t belong in a group, and he’s horny middle school onwards. He wasn’t popular, he wasn’t hated, he was just there.

- Cody is insecure about his appearance. He draws himself as this buff hot guy that girls fall over. 

- Cody has a private journal. It’s full of NC-17 drawings. Mostly of women. One day he accidentally mixed up this journal for his math notebook, so because they were checking notes that day, a teacher found the journal. And she was a real Karen of a teacher, so she was NOT happy. It was presented to the whole class, who laughed at him. Cody was given detention for ‘inappropriate gestures’, but that was NOTHING compared to the sheer EMBARRASSMENT of the situation. Nowadays, he isn’t sorry.

- Why is Cody uncomfortable with singing? He took a music class in middle school because of there being no room in his ambitious classes. He lost his voice on the day of a chorus concert. He sang anyway. He was so ill sounding that it made babies cry hearing the choir. Next semester, he quit the class.

- Cody never got a girlfriend. They all found him creepy and a nice guy. Wish all girls rejected people like this in real life, but sadly I feel alone in this being easy.

- Cody has a few friends. Not one friend group sticks every year, but Cody does have friends. They’re all boys. He doesn’t have any female friends.

- Cody and Trent went to the same school. They weren’t friends, but Cody knew who he was even before the show.

- His stepbrother wrote to him about Total Drama. 

- Does Cody even do much in the story?? Uh... (No. He doesn’t. I’m going freestyle here folks)

- The Noah sleeping kiss. These two could not talk to each other the same way for the rest of the season. (I could pull the trigger on Bi Cody though...)

- His obsession with Gwen is exactly as it seems in canon. It’s all looks. There’s not much to say.

- But canon showed Cody is at least a better person than most simps as he gets to accept Gwen and Trent’s bond over his own pleasure. Speaking of, this is how Cody and Trent actually met properly and respected each other. Cody recognized him and got to properly talk to him. 

- It’s Trent who told off Cody regarding Gwen, not because Trent wants her, but because it’s simply disrespectful for any girl. Cody, in return, admires Trent. 

- Cody and Owen are friends. The show forgot about this duo in Island. (Owen was the first headcanon post I did, and yet he’s been very disconnected with the other characters. Ouch.)

- Cody has PTSD after the bear mauling incident. He’s also scarred all over his torso. The show doesn’t show them because ‘that’s not TV advertising friendly’ (Fact: The show is evil, disrespectful, and harmful to people. In universe.)

- He also can’t look Beth in the eye anymore after that one. They are not friends.

- How did Cody not die? There was camera watching the incident. That guy saved him. 

- Cody was hospitalized, and wasn’t taken to the resort until around the time of Trent’s elimination. The guy wasn’t there yet by the time Cody arrived.

- Cody, at first, just wanted to chill and live out the rest of the stay. 

- The others watch the episodes every evening the show airs. Cody’s first witness of it was seeing the episode where Trent was eliminated. Everyone HATED the episode. Eva was throwing stuff at the screen, for example. Courtney was also running around hunting down Harold. By that point, she was invading other people’s rooms at midnight just to find him. 

- Harold was the only one not showing up to anything, but at first, it didn’t seem to concern Cody since they never talked before.

- But then Cody got his own room, and he was ready to unpack in there...

- Harold was hiding under the bed.

- They both freaked out. A lot. 

- Harold begged for Cody to not turn him in to Courtney. And since Cody gained nothing either way, he agreed. So now Cody had a roommate he was stuck with. Cody also offered to get some barbeque for them both, as Harold was practically starving. 

- On that errand, Trent was just arriving to the resort, and Cody was the first to run into him and talk to him. (And Katie and Sadie, who were bawling over what happened to Trent) Cody was a little bitter with Trent, as he knew no regret when he saw it (Trent and Heather’s kiss). Trent tried to tell him that Heather used him, and what he was supposed to believe, and Cody told him off that Trent was stupid for believing that, as there was no reason for him to. It was TRENT who told CODY to respect women, and then Trent goes on to ignore logic just to get a petty clingy impulse in. Men are better than that. 

- Trent claimed that Cody, with his own impulse, would never know the feeling of betrayal, and Cody stated that maybe he wouldn’t, and maybe he was as naïve, but at least he was loyal to the girl he found himself with. (Which, you know, would turn into a FLAW later down the line)

- From there, Cody’s kind of lost respect for Trent and Gwen’s relationship, and secretly hoped they broke up. Does that mean he isn’t friends with them both? No. He still is. This is one of few times he lets his grudge out aloud. 

- Justin joining them... he helped out Cody when he first got to the resort, and offered some beauty tips for the kid, as he asked for it. Then Justin noticed Cody going to his room with what is basically catering, and he got concerned, so he followed him to his room. And he found out Cody was keeping Harold. It was awkward seeing him there, but both of them basically held Justin hostage until he promised not to tell anyone about this.

- Harold, while Cody was gone, also found Cody’s songwriting notebook. Cody was embarrassed about it and called him out, but Harold praised his work, much to Cody’s surprise. Harold even asked Justin if he had any music talent, and Justin admitted his talent was looking pretty. But he could learn an instrument if he’d look good with it. Cody called this out and said it was for the skill.

- Basically, Cody is the songwriter for the Drama Brothers, and the heart of the group.

- Justin came by to visit and help every once in awhile (by help I mean just stand there and use Harold as a dog scraping off your plate) And Cody was basically the caretaker sharing a bed with the guy. (Take that any way you will, Cody and Harold shippers. This obviously means they’re FRIENDS.)

- Harold even opened up to Cody about his rigging of Courtney, and why he’s being hunted. All Cody could say was how much of a jerk Duncan seemed, but it was chill since Cody himself didn’t have personal problems with the punk. (Yet)

- Unfortunately, Courtney began to track down the situation, and Harold was on his own. Cody had to get them both out of there and hide Harold in a shower. (Again. FRIENDS.) And... the stall they picked had Trent in it. 

- Cody had a lot of explaining to do, and ironically, Trent was the calmest one about it. Trent wanted to help, and he also said that Cody had a point before. Trent did care what people thought of him a little too much. It’s something he wish he could drop about himself, but can’t. In fact, all four of the Drama Brothers seem to have that exact same flaw, so they would get along well and work together with combining egos. 

- The Drama Brothers didn’t become official yet, but the ideas were being tossed around. Mostly it was Cody being more comfortable with showing people his songs, and Trent helping with his guitar. The band idea also gave Cody the brilliant idea to make himself hotter by sunburning his entire body. Brilliant.

- He wasn’t in Action. Idk what to tell you.

- Cody didn’t know who to side with when it came to Trent and Gwen. They were both his friends. He knew there had to have been a reason for Gwen to break up with Trent, even if he didn’t understand this side of Trent being exposed via medication withdrawal. (Yeah, that’s the best explanation I can come up with. I’ll subject myself to the pain if you guys ask for a Trent headcanon)

- So when the fanbase was on Trent’s side, Cody was not. He avoided Trent, who would not even NOTICE Cody’s been avoiding him until AFTER the season was over. Cody mostly stayed around Noah because he was the one sane person in the VIP section. 

- Gwen over time has appreciated Cody not despising her for the breakup. She was the one who advised Cody to make the Drama Brothers with Trent. Just because Trent wanted to cut all ties with Gwen, doesn’t mean Cody should pick a side and choose between them. 

- So Cody reluctantly went back to talking to Trent, who just said “Oh hi Cody, been awhile, how you been?” (Yep. He didn’t even notice Cody’s attitude.)

- Thus, with assistance from Harold and Justin, the Drama Brothers were born. Trent was the lead singer and guitarist, Cody was the songwriter, Harold was the percussion, and Justin... was the eye candy. 

- They became a modest success due to the show giving them names, and Cody got quite a few fans. At first, he was excited at the idea of a fan club of his own, and even understood Trent’s attitude a little better. 

- Then Harold disbanded from them out of an ego. It left Trent Cody and Justin on their own losing their popularity. They tried to pull through without Harold, but Cody was doing most of the work now, especially when Justin is... Justin, and Trent was more focused on pleasing his fans and associating with his new date, Sadie.

- One time, Trent and Justin didn’t even show up in the album sale, and Cody was by himself. At the very end of it, when the store was closing, Trent showed up as if he was late. Cody was not happy, and called him out on his ego, his treatment towards Gwen, and there was quite a bit of foul language thrown in there. He even said “Gwen did nothing wrong”. If he ever got a girlfriend, he would ALWAYS be there for his girl and respect what they want even if Trent won’t. 

- A certain uber fan was actually AT THE STORE at the time, and HEARD all of that. Then that was their vow to be the love interest for Cody.

- It was MONTHS before Cody and Trent spoke again, at Celebrity Manhunt.

- It was before the search party left the bus to get help that Trent got to talk to Cody. And unfortunately, Cody was the one who apologized for what he said, not Trent. Trent just showed his devotion to Sadie and his personal interactions with his fans, and suddenly Cody was the one in the wrong. (You’re supposed to not agree with that.) 

- Oh boy... okay, look, I don’t like Sierra. She’s probably one of my least favorite characters of the entire show. I can’t stand her in any scene she’s in. The question is, will that affect how I’m writing this?

- Short answer: YES. I’m NOT SORRY.

- Canon pretty much nailed how Cody felt about the relationship. He was miserable beginning to end, and he only chose to be nice to her because he’s that kind of person, and to get her to stop whining. It was a perfect guilt trip tactic to use so he didn’t try to get rid of her.

- And when approached to his friends about it, they just laughed. They saw it as quirky and cute, and Cody was lucky to have her because she was a girlboss. (Because that’s how TV framed it) So Cody thought HE was the problem. 

- Cody is the only person in the entire cast that didn’t hate Gwen. Instead he hated Duncan. He openly stated that he had no idea why Gwen was cancelled and Duncan wasn’t. She was a brainwashed victim who had been through too much. Sierra deleted his response and made a claim that he lied and was on tea drugs. (You know, that SHE gave him.)

- Sierra even FORGED her MARRAIGE with Cody at one point. That’s not me. That’s CANON. Just so you know how F’d up it is. 

- The reason he eventually turned towards her in the end was because she remembered his birthday. Something no one did. 

- This put a big strain on Cody’s other relationships. Like any abusive relationship does. Before he could do anything, she posted to the entire fanclub about their marriage, she shoved him in a suitcase to take him on a honeymoon to France, and even barged into Cody's family's house to take the guest room. Where's Sierra's parents? They ditched their constant attempts at a restraining order a long time ago.

-But because she remembered his birthday, Cody allowed all of this and even tried to tell his housemates it was fine. They proceeded to try and show Sierra kindness. Did she return the favor? No. Especially not when Cody tried to go ANYWHERE without her.

-I talked about Cody's dynamics with certain people in the Harold, Heather, and Gwen post. So I'll be repeating myself if you didn't see those.

-Gwen and Cody kept in touch. Gwen needed it after her cancelation with the entire world. Of course they didn't see each other too much because both of them are in very complicated relationships. (Go see my Gwen headcanon post for more details on her side.) Duncan just complained and moved on without doing anything to prevent it, especially when he learned Cody was against Duncan himself and not Gwen. He just said "I don't like Cody, but whatever." Sierra though? She blocked all contacts Cody had with Gwen when she found out he was TALKING to her ABOUT A HAPPY MEAL. For the longest time, Cody couldn't explain to Gwen that it was Sierra's doing, so Gwen thought that Cody too ditched her because of cancelation.

-In case you're wondering what Cody's reaction was to Duncan's arrest... no comment. No care. He had it coming.

-Heather and Cody are in touch, but they don't talk as often. Most of the time, Cody treats her as someone to vent to. Heather doesn't want to be that person. Especially when she, ironically, had a much happier relationship and eventual marraige.

-Sierra was fine with Harold being around Cody because was a dude and therefore wasn't a threat. Yep. In case you didn't hate her enough, she is homophobic. (Blame the show airing in the 2000s)

- It's also because Harold is a co-worker for the Drama Brothers. So they kind of have to be around each other.

-Cody got into K/Pop thanks to Harold.

- Harold and Cody do Ninjago marathons. Trent and Justin are very casual bystanders to their fandom. They also did a roleplay together once. (In case you're wondering, Cody was Kai. Harold was Jay. Trent was Zane. Justin was Cole.)

-Cody went to med school. He was a modestly successful student. But he didn't like Sierra constantly screaming at the Internet to support him. When Cody asked her to stop, he got NASTY responses. By the Internet, because Sierra posted "Cody's being mean to me... *crying emoji X10*"

-Sierra loves the gap between his tooth. So Cody asked Justin and his co-students at med school to help him remove it. So he had braces for three years to get rid of it.

-It became a cast at one point because when he came home, Sierra didn't recognize him with the braces, thought it was an impostor, and punched his jaw into a hospital. She apologized for not recognizing him. Nothing else.

-Justin retired from the Drama Brothers to move to Hollywood North. And Trent is taking care of his family. Cody keeps the name afloat, but he doesn’t see Harold too often because he’s bitter from Harold spending more time with his career than helping him with his unhappy marriage. (Go see my Harold headcanons for more details)

-Cody was still writing to his stepbrother, wishing he came back. He was a little bitter when he learned he was married and was having a baby, but he didn't say anything and supported it. Why was he bitter? Because it meant he had a new family and moved on, and he couldn't be there for Cody.

-Cody was begging for Harold to be with him because Sierra was at his writs end. But he wasn't. He called Cody selfish as Cody never once considered Harold's problems. (Again, see Harold's headcanons for more details on that) His advise: Get a divorce.

-Heather snapped at Cody about the same thing: Get a divorce.

-Cody said "That's not fair to Sierra. She really is a good person who cares about me. There's no reason to dump her for one or two quirks of his." (Every Sierra stan yelling at me when reblogging)

-Cody's basically learned that if you submit to the girl, you have things easy. But you're sexist if you dump her, no matter what your reason is. Do everything your stalker says, do what they want, follow all their rules, marry them, and shut out everyone else in your life, THEN you will have free will to get a career you want. But not before that do you have a choice. (This is supposed to be a BAD MESSAGE. DO NOT FOLLOW THIS.)

-Become a big part of your wife's blog? Do it. Don't complain.

-Move into some fancy rich place? Do it. Don't complain.

-Dump your job interview for a date? Do it. Don't complain.

-She wants to use your utensils? Do it. Don't complain.

-Dress up a certain way? Do it. Don't complain.

-A ton of sexual content I can't put into details because of social media restraints? Do it. Don't-NO I WOULDN'T LIST ANY OF IT ANYWAY, JUST IMAGINE WHAT REALLY HAPPENED.

-Alcohol? Do... he can't. That's a trigger. He's not doing it. He's leaving the bar. He's running away.

-He denies all phone calls from Sierra, not wanting to be around her. He can't do it anymore. (No, she's not alcoholic, but she saw no problems with a bar date one time.) He so happens to run away to a vet, and he finds a box of puppies. It helps calm him down a little.

-Later on in the night, he tries to call someone to talk to. He had to find Gwen's contacts again after Sierra's hacking. Heather was unavailable. Trent and Justin were out of the country. That left Harold. He DOES pick up, and they talk a little...

-And then there's just static on his end.

-Cody's running to Harold's apartment, and he finds Harold on the floor overdosed from a bad take of medication. Cody took care of him the entire night and saved him. He is a doctor, after all.

-Cody stayed at Harold's place to take care of him. He constantly got calls from Sierra, but Cody kept denying them. He eventually had to throw his phone on the streets and use Harold's phone so Sierra didn't track him.

-Cody got Harold some doctors and therapists, friends of his, to help out, but Cody pretty much lived next door to Harold. He's wealthy enough to afford that. Harold did get better, and there weren't any more incidents, but the guy was a mental mess. (Again, Harold headcanon post for more details on what happened. Or Heather's, that reveals it too.)

-Cody and Harold both got to apologize for being selfish about their situations. Both forgiven. They were just glad to see each other.

-Cody ended up adopting a puppy. He named her Skylor. (Again, his Ninjago bias shows)

-This was the best two years Cody had in a long time. No Sierra, no drama, just being neighbors with a friend, and taking care of a dog. A dog that does not die this time.

-He became a co-editor in Harold's YouTube videos, and it was a much healthier online presence because Harold doesn't talk about real life on it and talks about media opinions and does gamer roleplays. (...don't look at me like that.) He did however draw the line with Harold's hatred for Harry Potter. How dare he.

-Cody got Gwen's contacts back. He was able to explain to her that Sierra blocked them and he cared about her. As a friend. (He's pretty much over Gwen romantically now.)

-Cody and Trent started calling again. It was casual and they purposefully kept romance drama out of it. This was the best way they could maintain a friendship. Cody could care less about Trent's relationship with Sadie. Do what ya want guitar boi.

-He also got to reunite with Heather, Alejandro, and Leshawna, who had a daughter. (Yeah he knew about that already cause Harold told him, but still) He was a little rocky with Alejandro, but they didn't try to start fights.

-He found Noah again at his college campus. They got on good terms and became acquaintances again. Though Cody was a little confused on why Noah was in a romantic relationship with Owen, without any sex. (Blame Sierra for him not understanding how that works.)

-Cody was able to talk to all of these people (except for Noah) about his incident with Sierra, down to the sexual details he had nightmares about from time to time. Leshawna was the one who sympathized the most, because a similar case was how she got her daughter (though in her case she had more of a say in it and chose it in the end).

-All their advice: Get a divorce. Never go back to her. He is much better off without Sierra. It's not mean. It's looking out for himself.

-Trent Facetimed Cody and Harold once, and a nice co-worker dude (Cameron) was in the call. Slip of the tongue, Cody said to Cameron, "That's cute of you." But no one said anything. Cody became self conscious after that. He had to talk to Noah later about what happened. Noah gave him a book about understanding bisexuality.

-Yeah, pull the trigger on Bi Cody. Why not.

-When Cody realized it, the first person he came out to about it was Gwen, when he was helping her with her music. (Gwen headcanon post for more reference on her career.) Gwen took it very casually. It helped Cody's confidence in figuring about himself more. He can be proud of this.

-Then Sierra found him.

-She was worried SICK. She thought he was dead. She planned his funeral. He should've told her she was kidnapped by Harold.

-Cody went back with her. She overwhelmed him with care and smooches. Harold was betrayed by that, but understood. It was Cody's choice.

-Sierra became more overbearing than ever, and didn't let ANYONE go anywhere NEAR him. Talk to Cody? Blocked. Maybe punched in the face. Stand in the same room as Cody? Prepare to be assassinated (not literally). All Cody had was the puppy. Their 'baby'.

-Then Trent came to visit when he heard from Harold what happened. He was greeted with a sock to the eye.

-That was it. Sierra got sued. She defended herself and claimed she was protecting Cody from an 'evil man'. She believed she would get off Scott free from the trial, as Cody would explain everything.

-And he didn't. He defended Trent.

-Sierra claimed he was brainwashed, and brought up that Trent turned to the dark side after Gwen dumped him. Love can do that to a person.

-Cody asked what she knew about love.

-She claimed she loved Cody. She loved him so much-

-No she doesn't. All she wanted was to use him for her little fanfictions of Total Drama. So her little Cody X Reader fic was canon.

-She defended that she tried to be good to everyone on the show. All her peers. But they didn't understand her. They were all toxic. They didn't understand she was quirky-

-Being quirky was no excuse. Sierra was the toxic one. And toxic people don't deserve sympathy.

-So in the court, Cody filed a divorce. Harold helped forge Sierra's signature.

-Sierra begged and told him he didn't want to leave her.

-YES. HE. DID.

-Cody left the court after that, not even hearing the results. He made sure all ties with Sierra were cut, and he would never see her again.

-He eventually heard what happened. Trent was decreed Not Guilty. Sierra got a big fine. So she did not go to jail. But by the time she got home, Cody was moved out and long gone, officially staying in that apartment as Harold's neighbor with Skylor the dog.

- Harold and Cody took a vacation to California to see Justin. They were happy to see each other again and bring back a band of friends. Justin even let them be around his paparazzi's, and tell them these were his friends. 

- Trent came back to the band. Though Justin was out from where he lived, the remaining three Brothers did some music videos on Harold’s channel. Even though Trent’s not a fan of the genre, he let them do a bit of K/Pop. 

-In terms of Cody and Trent after the assault, Trent didn't blame Cody at all, and was just really proud of him. Trent was in the court when it happened. But Cody found out that Trent recorded the entire thing and posted it online. The comments were... 50/50. Some were proud of Cody, some claimed Sierra did nothing wrong. Cody didn't care. Trent and Cody were good friends again.

-Another thing Cody did was go to a pride club. He met Noah and Owen at that pride club. And Cameron was there, so they got to talk and properly meet each other.

-Cody focused more on himself after all of this. He pursued is music. He became a well paid doctor. He had a good dog. He had some good friends and potential bf? It's just a crush.

-Cody would be there to talk to anyone on his blogs how to detect an abuser, stand up to them, and leave them. He wanted to prevent others from going through what he did more than anything. Not a lot were able to get out of it. He was lucky he could. It's the least he could do.

(Unlike my last headcanon post, Cody gets a better ending. Or, I say that. I don't write these as life memoirs that end when they die. I am not the biggest Cody fan, and this took awhile to make cause Cody is a side character with not a lot to work with. That shouldn't be an excuse though, we're all the protagonists of our own stories. But I do like Cody, and I do feel bad for him and I wanted to give Cody an ending better than what the show called 'a good ending'. Total Drama has a relationship problem. When I first watched the show, I thought I was gonna hate Cody, as he reminded me of a lot of people I knew in real life, people who bullied and harassed me to no end. But no. Episode 8, he won me over as he proved he wasn't like that. Respect. Now SIERRA, that is the exact character I thought Cody was gonna be. You can harass me for making her an antagonist in this all you want, but I will NOT apologize. But there's other factors that played in me doing Cody next: TDDRI, short end of the stick there. And you guys messaged me a lot of questions regarding Cody, so I thought why not?)

Mirror Sonya/TR Sonya Bio

While a lieutenant of the US Special Forces in her public life, Sonya Blade is a trusted agent of the Golden Dragon clan, and Lord Taven’s second in command.

Sonya is the daughter of two war veterans, Herman and Erica Blade. Both of them had suffered important losses of friends during their time at service, which had given them a clear idea of what to do with everyone they considered an enemy, or ‘scum’, most of which included a bullet going through their head. Hearing of those ideas and learning from them while she grew up surely started settling Sonya on her path.

Following her parents’ footsteps, Sonya enlisted in the US Special Forces when she was old enough. Due to her exceptional abilities and accomplishments, she quickly was promoted to Lieutenant, a position from which she hoped she could deal with dangerous criminals and organizations across the world. True to her parents’ teachings, she was impatient to make a bullet go through the head of every scum in the world. Even by this time, she wasn’t known for being eager to take prisoners unless she needed to.

She made very dear friends of hers during this time, especially Major Jackson Briggs and the community expert Gemini. They both saw a great potential in her, which is why one day Jax decided to show her the worst side of the US Special Forces.

Hidden cases of corruption among its high ranks, abuse of power, everything they ignored or aided because that way benefited the US government. Sonya had never been a fool, she knew the kind of world she was walking into from the first moment. But seeing it so much, and knowing she was powerless to do anything about it unless she wanted to lose her position. She felt frustrated, working for what she hated the most, scum. Jax and Gemini noticed it was finally the perfect moment to reveal their alternative to her.

Sonya was told about the Golden Dragon clan by her friends, who turned out to have been infiltrated agents all the time. Despite initially not being able to believe what she was hearing, she trusted them enough to give it a chance. She was brought to a base of the Golden Dragon, where she met Lord Taven himself.

When she was introduced to the kind of society the Golden Dragon sought to impose in Earthrealm, one that, just like the Edenian Regime, gave scum no second chance, it simply sounded like the world Sonya wished could exist. And now she had the opportunity to join an organization actually capable of creating it. With no doubt, she joined the clan and swore loyalty to its ideals and Lord Taven.

While she has remained infiltrated in the Special Forces alongside Jax and Gemini, Sonya leadership skills, dedication and loyalty, alongside the combat skills she has demonstrated in the missions she was able to participate without putting her cover in danger, have earned her current place of authority in the clan just below that of Lord Taven. Ruthless and with a clear objective, she is willing to do any sacrifice necessary to ensure the future she wants for her realm.
