When your family is just being, like family

as a writer there is only a certain extent to which you can experience events and feelings with your characters. You have to write like you’ve just lost a mother, write like you’ve just fallen in love, your words need to shape around the mind of someone who is going through something you might not be able to fathom. And whats even crazier, is that within the past week, I have now gained the ability to write characters who are just falling in love through the mind of someone who experienced the most 2000’s movie confession of love while at a Halloween part dressed as Barbie. It’s insane to think that when I write my characters newly stumbling around each other, i will be writing from experience
