took a break to stop screaming at the ONE PART of the chapter I’m working on (which is the VERY last scene and a half of the entire thing, btw, which makes it all the more frustrating that words refuse to come) to do some doodles that I told myself to wait to do until i finished the chapter. And by doodles i mean out of context storyboard scenes. I have a few different sets to post

one thing i will say is that: pjo tv isn‘t bad, in fact it can be elevated next season. none of the complaints (i have seen) are unfixable. pacing, and even acting all can improve. to me, the show feels like it‘s having a dialogue with the books, taking the text and questioning some of the themes, and that has been great. the trio all have carried their emotional scenes while stumbling over less nuanced scenes, and that to me, shows they‘re capable. pjo tv show is pretty great, some whimsy is missing but sea of monsters can make up for that. for the first time, an adaption makes me not question if we read the same book.

So in Friends in a Crucible Egan is teasing Buck about what exactly did he told press about nurses on flight and especially Maureen (btw, Egan in that fic is such a little shit I love it). What did he told those reporters? I’m sure it was all very proper and professional because he’s Buck and he loves his rules and proper conduct (until their forced vacation that is).
