this one starts off as human!alastor/lucifer but by the middle(?) its just regular radioapple. basically al is encountered by luci while finishing off a job who agrees to keep quiet. luci just keeps on showing up, reveals hes the devil to which al us just like "lol ok" and eventually they get in a relationship (ooh lala 👀) but they break up after saying some hurtful things to each other (oh nono 👀) with luci promising al they will never cross paths again. if you watched the show then well. you know that doesnt happen 😂 most human!al radioapple have al summon him (no hate to them) so this was an interesting change of pace

cannot stress it enough but this is a WORKING list i WILL be coming back to it bc these are purely the fics i could think if off the top of my head. IN FACT, if any of you have radioapple fics you love, SEND THEM THE FUCK IN! i am one person whos only been in this fandom for 4 months, and reading fics/shipping radioapple even less, theres bound to be some ones i missed that you think are Worthy™️! and if theyre nsfw then at the very least it shouldnt be the main focus

Egyptian Ben 10 AU!!

A long while ago i got the idea of making an au where ben is an Egyptian Orthodox Christian (the idea entirely spawned off a joke my friend made about a hypothetical ben like that having to explain his fasting to rook)

At first the idea was gonna be that his parents are Egyptian immigrants and he was born and raised in Bellwood, but last second before finishing his character bio i decided to flip everything over and make this AU *in* Egypt

The timeline i have in mind for these bios are all at around right after the highbreed arc, but also before season 3 straight up starts. I feel like thats a good jumping-on point

In terms of aliens mostly i just get to explore what the aliens would look like as teenagers since uaf and ov didnt really do much with that (they didnt even bother giving wildmutt a tail) and have fun trying to make his flannel into outfits for the aliens. Hoever if i get any cool ideas for entirely revamping aliens id definitely do it

I tried to make fourarms darker skinned not sure if its showing. Id have done the same with stinkfly but the uniforms colorscheme wouldve crashed. I wanted to try giving wildmutt black fur because this ben has darker hair but nothing really quite worked hsjhds wildmutts obnoxious orange is just too iconic

Prep school is mostly an american thing, here the closest equivalent for the early 2000s would be an international school. Also i changed lawyer to doctor as thats the sort of "go-to" job that makes a lot of money, lawyers in egypt arent usually as fortunate

Here she doesnt wear her uniform this is just how she dresses. I tried to fit the cat motif like OS but i couldnt really think of something that fit. If i were drawing UAF or OV gwen in my own take id have given her cat imagery but i think for Jwanas personality it actually makes more sense for her to be boring and lose the cat

Jwanas also a lot more angsty about her magic (and it is magic) since her parents and basically entire surrounding community both Muslim and Christian are very against magic and consider it sin. Shes also a lot more angsty in general because like the bio says shes under alot of stress and is very jealous of ben, which is conflicting because ben is also her best friend and she doesnt wanna feel this sort of animosity to him. She also doesnt realize how much he looks up to her as someone who is a lot more intelligent and disciplined than he'll ever be (for example the concept of jwana having the spark isnt here, ben just can never learn magic because he doesnt have what it takes)

Kevin much like ben is more or less the same as he is in the show. With jwana i went with my own take but Ben and Kevin are more of, culminations of what i think are their best parts in the series and then just fleshing that out more

I felt like the outfit he has in earth-prime works best with a few touchups. Prime kevin has consistently had that rugged guy-who-lives-in-a-garage look so despite being the most basic outfit it works the best with a few touchups

I did change his anatomy, i wanted to make him look like a mutant freak. I gave him this sort of frankenstine's monster posture (a small reference to him being an amalgamation in os). He also has these stretch marks all over his body since his material absorption doesnt just create a coat around him but also alters his skin itself (so these markings arent there for os-era kevin) He also has a lot of weird bumps over his body

This kevin is 100% mutant no alien shenanigans. If i do aggregor i'll uhhh think of something else for him to be. His transition to the lightside is a lot longer and for the majority of the highbreed arc hes not even there hes more of an occasional ally if he feels like helping

Was his dad a plumber or not im not sure tbh, im leaning towards not though

APHMAU SHALASHASKA

- aphmau shows up at phoenix drop’s doorstep pretty much half dead. no one knows where she came from, and upon waking up she doesn't remember who she is, where she's from, nothing.

- vylad carried her here because he knew that garroth was stationed in phoenix drop and he knew that the village was in dire need of help due to it being lordless; however it doesnt get revealed until way later.

- aphmau gets carried into the guard station which is where she resides for a period of time. zoey, who was visiting phoenix drop at the time (she was a wandering 'merchant' of sorts, looking for a permanent place to stay) feels a weird presence coming from her, not magical but also not normal, and decides to prolong her stay, healing aphmau back to health with garroth's supervision.

- aphmau wakes up and is sooo grateful they took care of her and decides that as payment she’s going to help make this mess of a village better (also she has no memory of anything that happened prior or why she ended up here anyway, so it’s not like she has anywhere else to go.)

- so she fixes up the roads and helps remodel some of the houses (i feel like this version of aphmau is much less princess-like and more handy than canon aph) garroth is very grateful for this

- anyway uh i dont actually have a lot of stuff for her since i find aphmau to be somewhat bland?? ig thats bc aph is meant to be jess for the majority of s1 but yeah uhh that needs to change. this aphmau is more rough around the edges, not afraid to fend for herself and those she cares for, but also very kind and compassionate. also very bubbly at times, but around those she trusts. she’s actually kind of against the idea of having guards follow her around all the time when she first becomes lord (because she believes she can do everything on her own), but later realizes that its much better to have backup bc the world is dangerous tm

- anywayz she grows closer to zoey when she moves into her house. she finds her presence weird at first but quickly gets used to her company, and she finds that waking up to the smell of tea everyday is soothing

- she is often sent out to the woods to gather whatever herbs zoey needs for her magicks. this quickly turns into aphmau trying to find pretty flowers to bring back to her pretty wife as a gesture of love friendship. sometimes she gets scolded bc she unknowingly brings back poisonous flowers or something but zoey knows that she does it with the best of intentions and thinks its kinda cute in a way.

- also aphmau brings back zoey pretty items from her travels, usually rings, necklaces, or even pretty rocks. zoey keeps them all in her room and looks at them while working on magicks stuff

- sorta angsty but i feel like aphmau definitely feels guilty for being absent for most of levin and malachi’s childhood. way in the future i feel like she and zoey would either adopt or have a biological kid of their own that they can both be present for, now that aphmau is no longer a lord and zoey is just enjoying her last lifetime with her beloved wife.

- OH AND i find it funny that they end up together since, at least in my canon, irene and zoey were a thing way back when. so like after irene left this plane or whatever and reincarnated as aphmau its like zoey and irene found themselves again in another lifetime (more on that in zoey’s section, which i actually wrote first)

- god i really don’t have much to say abt aph lol uh she’s bisexual (fem leaning, which is why she doesn’t rlly feel anything for garroth or laurence but does get flustered around guys sometimes) and demiromantic (takes a WHILE for her to feel any romantic attraction. again its why she doesn’t feel anything for G and L LMAO)

ZOEY TALTATHEIL

- was a devout follower and close friend of irene 900 years ago. zoey, although she wasn’t part of the divine warriors, was irene’s right hand woman, and would help her with decisions etc etc.

- she was kind of like a guard but not really lol. i do feel as though she began to mess around with barrier magicks as a way to protect irene, despite the fact that it got her exhiled from her home. she’d do anything to protect her.

- they were overall very close, but due to circumstances tm they had to separate. they never saw each other again sadly

- (although there are some books written by scholars that state that at some point lady irene had a certain lady friend who she lived with and shared intimate moments with. wonder who that is :P)

- ((also irene did have a family at some point, and levin is of her bloodline. he has blonde hair and blue eyes, guess who else has blonde hair and blue eyes? garroth ZOEY (and yes also garroth but thats a coincidence imo) so i think they are at least distantly related but very much so regardless))

- enough about irene. in zoey’s long 900~ year life she’s travelled to many regions, learned about many different cultures, and met many people, some who she did settle down with at some point. due to her immortality, however, she outlived all her previous partners and since then has been afraid to settle down with anyone, afraid of losing them to time

- it wasn’t until she met aphmau and levin (and later malachi) that she began to change her mind. she began to raise her children when she was away on lord duties, and she got VERY attached to them. she treated them as her own, and soon became accustomed to the idea of having a family

- she also began to see aphmau in a more romantic light at some point during s1. she didn’t know when the change from platonic to romantic feelings began but it didn’t matter. what mattered was that she had been raising another woman’s children as though they were her very own, cooking for the 4 of them like a happy family, and literally living the life she had always wanted without even realizing it.

- anyways she sleeps with aphmau in her room despite having her own room. she uses her room more as a workspace for her magicks

- also (and this is less about zoey and more about elves in general) i feel as though elves start out with dark colored hair and with the years it slowly lightens up until it’s completely white (doesn’t matter what color; zoey’s just happened to be blonde which is why she has platinum blonde hair pre-timeskip. it obviously doesn’t change this fast, but zoey giving up her immortality did speed up the process by a LOT which is why the change was so drastic in such a small amount of time (for an elf))

- speaking of her immortality, i feel as though it was the main reason that drove her to, you know, actually become a thing with aphmau. they were practically married pre-timeskip but they never really mentioned it, both scared they’d ruin what they had. aphmau being trapped in the irene dimension was the thing that drove her to spend years of her life studying, trying to get her closest friend, no, her lover back; losing her immortality was the final push to make it official. losing her immortality mean that they’d both pass within each other’s lifetimes, which is something zoey had always wanted (that sounds morbid but imagine being immortal and outliving all your loved ones.. i feel as though one can only take so much pain before it turns you crazy)

- anyways enough angst. since zoey has lived so long and has been all over the place, she has countless stories to tell and levin and malachi always loved hearing them. post-timeskip she tells the same stories to the children of phoenix drop in her spare time. she loves being around children and overall just loves caring for ppl ^__^

- as for like sexuality hcs uhh i can’t imagine her as anything but a lesbian lol

HEAR THAT CALYPSO)) and Calypso, at the very least later on turned VERY unconsensual. FOR SEVEN YEARS., but the “he liked her no more” could also mean she didnt like her as a person anymore after she saved him. its not 100% clear how the relationship started out, we just know how it ends rly, but given the historic context too, it might very well be that it wouldntve been considered as cheating, even if it was consensual, would hera consider it cheating bc she does so with Zeus? maybe, idk, i think the idea of Ody being (one of) the only greek hero(es) that doesnt cheat is one i like, he gets praised enough by homer for all his skills he might as well have the skill of being true to his wife, in EPIC we know that Ody refuses her from the beginning so whatever did or did not remain unnamed in Epic, would NOT be cheating,.........and anyone who mentions Odys proof for cheating being the telegony or any other later versions where suddenly children show up, and he offs penelope for cheating and telemachus marries circe, can kindly, do some more reading into the history of the text and how later authors added their own twists, we dont know if the odyssey from homer was the most well known version, i think, but its the one we consider canon now, and i rly refuse to believe that Ody coming home only to get a new wife]

a lil something i wrote

So! i wrote something angsty for my Splatoon OC, shes called Haji and i have some plans for her (wrings hands deviously) so i decided to start off with an bit of angst for yall :)

the prompt is: how a new haircut triggers her emotions and reminds her of her brother (which disappeared and left her all alone)

A tug in her chest she can't explain, her insides feel like jelly as they roil and rouse inside of her. Haji grits her teeth, every small thing that goes wrong or is inconvenient for her right now suddenly feels so much worse.

Why does her reflection looks like her brother is looking back at her.

It should make her happy to think her and her brother are looking similar but she just can't take it. Not today.

"Fuck." Haji grunts, her head going down and resting in between her hands on the bathroom sink, trying desperately to figure out what's happening.

"i don't get it." she mumbles. "what have i just done to you..." the Octoling sounds desperate.

"its so unfair, you have forgotten about me, why can't i just forget about you!" Haji yelps while looking back up into the mirror. Her heart is aching. "its so fucking unfair!!" She roars at her own reflection, tears finally escaping her. The overwhelming pressure inside her growing even further into rage.

Or maybe regret, which she has buried deep within her.

"I hate seeing you! i hate that you just left me!" she scream at her own reflection. Frustration growing further at her own sight and her weakness.

"It wasn't fair! You abandoned me! for what?!" her anger taking full control as her heart starts pumping harder.

"Oh, i bet you live a *real* nice life on the surface now, don't you!" Haji continues shouting at her own image.

"I hope you do, you bastard, I hope you are having the time of your life without me!" She yells.

"You better be! because otherwise, that makes everything I went through worthless!" Haji screams with all the breath she can muster.

Her knees give in and she falls to the floor of the bathroom.

Hajis body is trembling and her breathing is ragged and irregular.

"maybe this haircut was a stupid idea." The Octoling mumbles to herself, in defeat.

She had never imagined that a simple haircut could hit her so hard, and yet it did.

She knows what's wrong, but she doesn't want to admit it. At least she cut the tentacles decently, but that fact cannot comfort her through these emotions.

Right now, it looks too much like her brother.

The memories of him, she misses him so much. Haji wipes the tears from her face, but they keep flowing.

"it was supposed to help, you know." she whispers.

"it was supposed to help me move on from you, but all it did was make me miss you more." Haji sits there on the floor for a while, looking at the reflection that she feels like isn't hers.

She can feel the rage returning to her again, it makes her sick. She doesn't want to be angry at her brother, not now, not anymore.

She doesnt really know on how to feel, if she's being honest.

This new world in which she is a stranger seems so scary alone.

It was always her and her brother against the world. Now that he is gone, Haji feels completely lost,

she has no one here to help her figure it out. She's on her own now.

Luffy starring as Joker, having punched some rich asshole who was abusing a women on the street. This got him arrested, Garp doesnt do shit and neither does any of his family, he is a minor so he gets off with community service but due to the scandal so he ends up being kicked out of the small village

Shanks is the one who takes him in, only saying that he owes Garp some kind of favor. He gives him the attic and tells him not to get in the way

(Shanks is going to be attached to Luffy in 2.5 seconds and Luffy is going to help him with Uta who is having a tough time, she becomes the phantom thieves hacker xd, anyone who played the game gets where im going with that probably haha)

Law starring as Akechi 😈

Which makes the asshole that Luffy punched be Doffy heh heh.

Luffy who is used to people failing him, and double crossing him since a young age taking care of himself for the most part, immediately clocks that Law is hiding something. He isnt sure what, but its there at the back of his mind.

He doesn't saying anything though, enjoying Law's company as he comes by Shanks' bar/coffeeshop where Luffy has started working along with his bazillion other part-time jobs

Law saying he likes the coffee, and that is why he stops by.

Luffy knowing well that he cant make coffee for anything and that its gross, doesn't buy it. Though he decides to ask Makino, a neighboor next door to teach him how to brew coffee, and later to make easy food when Sanji joins them

He is doing all this because he wants to see Law smile, and also its totally a bribe so they can be friends (get those music notes 🎶 Luffy xd)

Eventually when all the palaces are torn down and they reach Doffy's there is a fight between Law and Luffy,

Law being dramatic about how those short few months was the best time of his life, smiling at Luffy and them telling him to get out of there and take down Doffy for him, the steal door crashes down between them. There is a whispered confession of love that Luffy doesnt quite hear

Luffy trying to break it down, only to hear a gunshot and blood seeping under it. Law does not answer. Luffy going numb as they never even had a chance to say how they felt, it always felt as though they had all the time in the world. He finishes the palace despite the twisting pain.

Unlike the ending of persona 5 where its vague but we see a hint that when Luffy in this case would be leaving for the train

Law sees him board and gets there to late, as the train takes off, a missed connection, or atlwast it would be if Luffy didnt catch sight of him. Catches sight of familiar black hair and bright golden eyes.

Luffy jumping of the train, getting more then a few scratches, but he doesnt care, scrambling up the platform and hugging Law, returning the confession without even a pause.

They kiss and everyone is happy!

(Though if i was being angsty, where Luffy doesnt see him and the world is rebooted and Luffy's dream/desire is for Law to be with him, to be alive. Only for Law to not have died but Luffy doesnt know that, and he is confronted with a wish where he either has to save the world or save Law. Luffy being the kind of guy who will burn the world down for those he loves almost says yes to the dream

Until Law as a wild card snaps out of the trance and snaps that he is alive! He's here but he didnt want to burden Luffy, which gets Luffy angry about it, and he channels that amger at whoever the villain is that trapped them in the dream xd

It's feels so bittersweet for (y/n) to have let go of Jonathan. Like they could've been so perfect for one another, that connection was still kinda there. Like star crossed lovers, she lets him go so he can be happy. Like she still loves him, of course she does. And since she loves him she'll do anything for him, including letting him go. It's still a lil hard to swallow, and I feel like it might be for Jonathan too. Like they'll still be close of course, but he'll eventually become closer with nacy and that hurts😭. I may be projecting here ( I most definitely am) but I could see (y/n) getting a little insecure, like she feels second to Nancy. Maybe even feeling like a second choice to those around her. Summary: Reader and Abby talk. Feeling very conflicted about what side to take so the burn is still slow, Ellie is falling deeper in love with the idea of who reader is. And reader hates herself for it. Lots of thinking ensues.

You probably shouldn't have told Abby about Ellie, if you were a better friend you might have kept her secret. But at the same time it was so conflicting. Abby’s sweet words had made you fold immediately.

“So wait, you've been hanging around someone plotting to kill me?”

“Abby I came with her to find you first, to tell you.”

“So what exactly am I supposed to do with that information? Not go home and let everyone back at the WLF base die?”

That night or rather that morning when you had gotten back to Ellie, you’d snuggled up against her side again. And like second nature she pulled you into her, brushing her lips against your forehead and if she had been a little closer, it would have seemed like a kiss.

This was wrong, it was all so so wrong. But being close to Ellie felt good. It felt uncomplicated, simple, safe.

Ellie, once again woke up first. Her heart slowed to a gentle rhythm when she discovered you fast asleep in her arms.

Beautiful, she thought when she looked at you. Memorizing every pathway of your skin, looking softly at you as if she could never look away. It was a different admiration she had ever felt. Not with Riley, not with Cat, not with Dina. You were so you. Each of her past lovers had a thing about them that she was drawn to but you, she couldn't put a finger on it. All she knew is that she craved more. More days waking up with you in her arms, more of your laughs, smiles, more hidden glances she snuck when you were busy brushing shimmer or staring off into the treeline, mindlessly rubbing the gold locket that fell gracefully onto your pretty collarbones.

She wondered what was in that locket of yours, a past lover? A sibling or family member? Perhaps a pet? She highly doubted that possibility. You werent really an animal person unless it was shimmer.

Before you could catch her eye though, she looked away, deciding that suddenly the sky was very interesting, looking intently at it.

“Sure, you definitely were!” You giggled.

Finally the pair of you were back on the road.

Once again, you were chest to back, wrapped around her waist and to Ellie, nothing ever felt so right.

She was so happy you followed her on her journey. You were so kind, so selfless for supporting her like this. She hoped that once this was all over she would be happy again. Happy with you. Her best friend. When she and Dina had broken up she never thought she would meet someone as amazing as you but you stumbling into those words was such a little miracle.

Ellie was perfectly content with the feeling of you holding onto her, she savored every touch. Never had she once had a platonic relationship with another girl that felt so deep and powerful. It flooded her heart with warmth. She only hoped that you reciprocated her feelings.

“For coming all this way for me. You have no idea how much it means to me.”

You paused, guilt crawling into your soul. laying thoughts of self hatred inside of you, like an infection.

The journey went on, and you came across infected, yet to see raiders or hunters. Ellie was stealthy. She taught you how to come up behind them and how to sneak amongst the masses. They never seemed to really really go for her, they were so busy chasing you. That was a little weird, how they acted like she was one of them. Maybe she really was that smooth. But you doubted it. It was Ellie Williams. She wasn’t smooth about anything. Especially not when it mattered. At least not other than murdering infected.

She seemed to enjoy this position she placed herself in, she liked teaching you things, sharing information, seeing you watch her, having your eyes on her. She wanted more of it. Every drop of attention you gave her she ate it up.It probably wasn’t normal to want someone so badly. Especially her best friend but she didn’t care. Not as long as you looked at her.

Call her desperate or depraved or whatever but she couldn’t get enough. If only you knew how deep her admiration ran, maybe you would be scared away but she doubted it. You were just as crazy as she was, after all if you weren’t you wouldn’t have been such good friends. Clicking so fast as if you were always meant to meet.

You, on the other hand, felt more sick than ever. Good thing you were such an experienced liar otherwise Ellie would’ve caught on.

It was a feeling of pure disgust by your own actions. By telling Abby about Ellie you were basically associating with the person Ellie hated the most, and rightfully so. But they were both frustrating. Abby killing Joel as revenge and Ellie killing Abby as a result. It was a big, unhealthy cycle that likely wouldn’t offer Ellie any happiness. After all she couldn’t bring anyone back to life by sacrificing another.She wouldn’t heal from this.

What would you do, when the time comes to choose between them? Abby was really pissing you off but that didn’t mean the love you had would just go away. She has seen every bad part of you and loved you regardless. You were sure Ellie would feel nothing but hate when/if she found out you met up with Abby, nevermind loved Abby.

So you came to the conclusion to utilize a common coping skill in your every day life. You would dissociate, disconnect from the stress and allow yourself to be loved by Ellie. Enjoy the moments with her before she would ultimately leave you. Or until you ultimately left her. The thought left a sick feeling inside of your abdomen. She would never forgive you. So you might as well take advantage of right now before everything went to compete and utter shit.

When I first saw your post about "Bertha accidentally creates a sinistea", I thought you would go the angsty route with it based on sinistea's dex entry.

e.g Bertha, haunted by the loneliness and regret of breaking things of with Opal, gets actually haunted by a manifestation of her own making, or smth.

So I think it's really funny that you went a total different route with "spooky sister shenanigans".

skjdfnsskdf yknow im ngl i did think of something like that initially, and that is still a very interesting idea to me and has potential, but i started thinking about how sinistea is a ghost type and agatha, probably the closest person to bertha, specializes in ghost types, and it kind of just went from there.

i do think that the idea for lifelong feelings of guilt and regret manifesting into a pokemon is wildly interesting. i think a physical manifestation of the things bertha regrets most would be a very powerful thing, especially what with the added meaning of it taking up residence in her craft, the creative means she has used her entire life to express herself when words have failed her. there is definitely something poetic about that.

i see bertha being the sort that treasures the creative process and working with clay is something that is extremely near and dear to her heart. for anyone who is a creative person, you know that making art is an expression that goes beyond words and speaks more to the inner workings of the soul. i think she would treat each piece she makes with the utmost care, because the creative process is just that important to her.

and then, the intensity of her guilt and regrets that have been stewing within her for ages transforming one of those deeply heartfelt pieces into a little creature that exists as a sentient, ever-present reminder of those things? literally i dont know how you can get more direct in terms of the concept of "the painful things she carries with her making a nest in her heart."

and what makes it even better imo is that this isnt just an object, this is a real little creature that now lives with her, and one that she has to take care of, because as a seasoned trainer, she knows that each and every pokemon is deserving of love and understanding, no matter its origins, because it cant help what it came from.

so in a way, she finds herself sort of forced to care for and love this little creature that, like i stated before, is a physical representation of old pains she carries deep within her. i think there is a great potential here for healing from certain things and growing to confront things about herself she never thought she would be able to, and i think that has the potential to be beautiful.

ngl my brain still feels so loopy rn and i feel like its very evident in that my writing doesnt feel extremely coherent rn but nonetheless, thank you for sending this!!!

sexual tension. long glances in class. sneaking off during balls when theyve both got different dates, her with james potter and him with an angsty slytherin girl. meeting in the bathroom. midnight strolls through the corridors, teasing her with nobody around.

they almost get caught, and that changes everything for her. her parents would kill her if they found out she was sneaking around with a deatheaters son. but she cant stay away from him.

so she hatches a plan without telling scorpius: shell date her best friend james potter, someone all of her friends and family wanted her to be with anyway, so that nobody suspects anything between her and malfoy. what does james get? hes into teddy lupin, and he needs to cover up his feelings for him by dating a girl. with all the attention he was getting from girls, people were starting to wonder why he wasnt dating anyway.

scorpius fucking despises this. he doesnt know about the plan because she doesnt want to hurt his feelings or risk losing him. they continue to have sex on and off, still wanting each other, but he feels like shit that shes with james instead of him. he doesnt understand why she keeps coming back to use him if shes got a boyfriend already. and its his bestfriends brother - its fucked. feeling betrayed, he shags other girls, ones that want him because the bad boy act is appealing. he makes sure she sees him.

for a while, she lets him. because shes been loving him from a distance for so long. but everyone has a breaking point. she meets hers after seeing scorpius go off with a really pretty veela girl, someone who looks nothing like her, and she becomes so insecure that she sleeps with james.

james, on the other hand, is in shock that hes not completely gay. maybe like 80 percent. but she is really really hot so he cant even blame himself tbh. because hes not fully gay, she suggests they end things with each other since its caused enough pain for everyone, and shes already lost the boy that she loves. hesitantly he asks her to hang in there and stay with him until he figures out his sexuality properly.

so she watches malfoy from a distance again. he absolutely despises her.

james meets a boy he likes in school. they get along really well. he speaks to her about it, and he comes to accept that hes bisexual. he also accepts that teddy will never be his, and theres more out there that actually suits him.

one day she bumps into scorpius at dinner. malfoy takes one good look at her and walks the other way.

"malfoy."

"dont."

"please. i cant stand that you hate me."

"theres a first time for everything, angel."

"i just want to talk to you."

"i dont want to hear it."

"youre being a dick."

"youre the dick, angel."

"im a dick-angel?"

the words just come out. she cant even help them. she supposed she would prefer being known as a cheater to everyone than for outing james sexuality.

then james decides to stand up and come out publically. that makes it all clearer to malfoy. eventually they do have to confess that james and her had shagged one time to test if he was really gay (and because she was insecure), which scorpius almost kills james for, but he was shagging people too so he accepts it. scorpius and her get together properly. everyone thinks of them as the couple they never expected, but the one they needed.

this ones a bit newer (10 chaps), is so far mostly exposition and the slowburn pot hasnt even been put on the stove, but as just a hazbin fic in general i see the potential. basically its a 1920s(30s?) au where heaven decides little charlie doesnt deserve to be raised in hell and is sent to earth with a "foster" family where her actions in life will determine witch realm she will return to after death. her "parents", al and mimzy, are given false memories so they can claim the girl as their own and gee i wasnt kidding when i said it was a lot of exposition. erm honestly explaining anymore would tech be spoiling so go read it!!

this one starts off as human!alastor/lucifer but by the middle(?) its just regular radioapple. basically al is encountered by luci while finishing off a job who agrees to keep quiet. luci just keeps on showing up, reveals hes the devil to which al us just like "lol ok" and eventually they get in a relationship (ooh lala 👀) but they break up after saying some hurtful things to each other (oh nono 👀) with luci promising al they will never cross paths again. if you watched the show then well. you know that doesnt happen 😂 most human!al radioapple have al summon him (no hate to them) so this was an interesting change of pace

oh god there would be sooooooo incredibly many changes. some I'm gonna leave alone unless directly asked but for some main ones atm--

Four Years: oh dear god so many changes. both just from learning more and also from the fact of being an au I came up with when I was 14 and I would never recommend anyone ever be the age of 14, my sincerest apologies to one luz noceda. I could make a whole other post about this but just to keep it simple lets sayyyyyy...first of all, Amity doesn't go into the Emperor's Coven. I personally still like the idea, but it doesnt really fit. theres helping her mom show off to customers, and then theres being forced into a Coven that wants to murder her crush and her crush's adoptive mom. Amity gives me the impressive of someone who would just start biting. Escaping Expulsion was Amity's "standing up to her mom" episode and I love that sm for her, I'm thinking maybe it could be redone in this au to also involve refusing to even consider the Coven? Dunno, but I know Amity doesn't join it, and neither do the twins.

Keene doesn't exist anymore, obviously. we're back on the Hunter show babey and his redemption arc (like most arcs here) take a much longer time to get on with. most remains the same, but he has a lot more interaction with Luz & the gang prior to Eclipse Lake. that episode becomes more of a "we were making so much progress but then the Panic Button hit in and everything collapsed in on itself" and then some tension between the gang of Hunter feeling shitty and not talking, the guys trying to figure out whats with him, and then Hollow Mind comes in an fucks up everything, as per usual

No more angsty fics about Camila missing her daughter because Vee's here now! yaaaaay. but this does mean Camila went a longer time without ever realizing her daughter was someone else, although I imagine at some point she WOULD feel that something was just Off. obviously shes a regular human shes not gonna think a shapeshifter took the place of her daughter, but shes gonna know something is Off and Strange but she cant put her finger on it and Luz seems happy...most of Yesterday's Lie remains the same but since it's at least been two years, maybe three, since Luz has seen her mom, she looks MUCH different than how Vee changed her appearance, so it throws Camila off quite a bit

smaller things will also stay, such as Luz becoming the Owlet and everyone being their own kinda brand of rebel. I'd have to figure out how to slide in Raine, Darius, Eberwolf, etc, somewhere in here. I'll figure it out

Beta: this one stays the most unchanged I think? granted I was updating it slightly more with updates in the show than Four Years. Hunter is still local nephew of principal and Belos's plan still involves killing all witches but its just in the "saving humanity from these evils" instead of "saving humanity from these evils and then going home". still unsure how the grimwalkers would tie into this, if my guy was just continuously making kids or if hes not actually a puritan and just a nasty old guy, and all the other golden guards are Hunter's older brothers? and he was possibly kidnapped when he was a baby or something? that part im the least sure on

Emperor: well, first of all, the duo of Amity & Luz becomes the trio of Amity, Luz & Hunter. none of them get along. Amity is constantly exasperated by Luz and her dumbassery & Luz thinks shes uptight and a tryhard at times. Luz and Hunter are dumbass on dumbass hatecrimes because Luz also thinks hes uptight but also a massive brat who thinks hes better than everyone & Hunter thinks shes annoying as hell and beneath him on every level. Hunter and Amity just take one look at each other, smell the Gifted Child With Parental Issues Trying To Be Perfect In Every Single Way on each other, and immediately drop into offensive hissing cat positions.

Luz and Hunter are the ones who get along first, mostly cause Luz getting brought over to the Emperor's Coven kind of guaranteed she'd run into Hunter first and they'd end up sticking to each other and realize they're massive nerds. Luz and Amity get along next through the power of Luz being stubborn and wlw. Hunter and Amity are last and technically it only really happens because they may be petty and spiteful but they can and will set that aside for one goal: being even pettier and even more spiteful to anyone being mildly annoying to Luz

This AU in particular hasn't had a lot of updates to it so theres a lot of room to work with her. Luz technically becomes friends with Willow and Gus because shes undercover trying to get new recruits (shes terrible at it). this also means that Hunter is more easily converted to the side of Oh Belos Fucking Sucks because he already has adopted sister Luz telling him to Run and her mildly okay girlfriend yoinking him along. course this also means it fucks up Luz even more to see that Hunter is a grimwalker and, per paraphrased word of Belos, she was the favorite. if it came down to it, Belos would've happily let Hunter die, hell, would've even done it on purpose. by virtue of being human, and Hunter being a clone, she was, in fact, given special treatment, and if anything went slightly wrong then Hunter would've died. these kids are fucked up

Now that I'm home and can actually type out my thoughts...

I cant believe I was right about something that wasnt angsty and doom and gloom! The tree is the way home and it doesnt work like anyone thought it would! You need a desire or a tie to get back to Remnant, and more importantly, its a choice to go back!

Now that I have that out of the way, I actually really liked this episode and it did give us a few answers that we needed. It gave us the answers to how they'll get home, how to get to the tree, what the tree is, and how ascension works for the most part.

But also, I really enjoyed how the paper pleasers came back so quickly just to give Jaune and his friends that confirmation that everything will be okay. Which gave way to them to accept their failures and allow them to finally be open to the tree. The fact that their worries start to easy about Ruby with the fact that Ascension isnt actually death, that death doesnt actually seem to exist here in the Ever After and that the tree essentially "heals" someone by allowing them to become who they want to be.

But going back to the door to Remnant, its nice to know that you have to have a desire to get back and I think this is what's going to help Neo. The fact that she doesnt have anyone or any ties left to Remnant right now is purely because of that hollow feeling she had after she got her revenge on Ruby. Now that she's finished that, she doesnt feel like she has anything. It didnt help her, it didnt fix anything, just left her more empty than ever. But this is just the first step to healing. The fact remains that once she's saved from the cat, she'll be given that choice to come back to remnant and to make that tie again so she can actually go back. While I doubt its going to result in her being best friends with any of the heroes, it'll be the hand she needs to be given a chance to be better.

And then Ruby. Ruby really is starting to feel the weight she's been holding on her own. And the blacksmith really is trying to help her by showing her what it is that she wants. Which means, with the way she started grabbing Summer's weapon, she may get to see a bit of Summer that she never knew about and maybe get to see the truth of what happened to her.

And the finale for this volume is going to be great. We'll finally see Ruby become who she wants to be, or at least who she wants Ruby to be, we'll get to see a bit of Summer, watch how everything happens between the cat and WBYJ, and maybe even see just how long theyve been gone from Remnant once they go through the door. I'm hoping a little time will have passed, like a week to a month for Remnant, or that we dont get to see any of it until vol 10. Either way, I'm stoked.
