An-Seyoung's Bullying Case

Badminton's World No.1 Women's Singles player, An Se-Young, was revealed to be bullied by her seniors as she was forced to wash her male seniors' underwears for years. It was not restricted to washing their underwear as they would also tell her to wash their clothes and fix their rackets. All this happened when she was a junior (reminder, she's only 22 years old this year, so this happened not too long ago. Some claimed that it happened for 7 years, so this is still recent for her).

This bullying issue was addressed even before this, but it were only rumours (I'll address this further below). However, it was mentioned that they will investigate it after An Se-Young expressed her disappointments towards the Korean Badminton Association (KBA) after she won the Olympic Gold. At first, the issue she addressed was only about the management's mistreatments and how she wanted to go independent and quit the national team. But, after further investigations, more news has surfaced, and today, it is the further revelation of the bullying case.

The bullying issue, however, is not limited/targeted to An Se-Young alone as reports mentioned that there were a lot more victims other than her, but since she is the most notable figure, she's the highlight in this issue. Remember that there are a lot more former junior players who were victims in this story but were not addressed of their identity.

As of now, the Korean's Parliament is furthering their investigation on KBA regarding the bullying issue as there are claims that KBA's higher management also involved in forcing players to choose certain sponsors and not letting them make their own choices in terms of the players' personal management (e.g. shoes, jerseys, and other necessary equipment needed to play).

Explanation about the issue addressed right after he win at Paris Olympics:

An Se-Young mentioned addressed that KBA has poor management over their players. This came from the fact that she was injured multiple times before the Olympics, and her conditions were not the best prior to the tournament.

This is very shocking, and to think that she went through ALL of this while achieving so much breaks my heart. An Se-Young is one of my favourite players to watch, and she is a very, very bright young star as she became the World No.1 for the first time roughly a year ago. She has 22 BWF World Tour Titles, multiple golds in multiple tournaments (Olympics, Asian games, Uber Cup, and more). She is a very promising and successful player. This issue is very unacceptable for ALL players, and to add to this terrible surfaced bullying case, South Korea has multiple records of having light punishment over their bullies/sexual predators. I don't want to keep this news as a badminton-only issue. This is WAY larger than that.

CC Character Rant

(I just started reading CC3 but this anger at this character started in CC2. I just read chapter 1 of CC3. I have kept myself mostly spoiler free for the over arching plot but for this character I hate my friend tried to help me understand her better and gave me some spoilers but yeah those spoilers did not help one bit. If anything I got even angrier which is why I had type this out and see if there are any other Lidia Cervos Haters out there.)

I HATE LIDIA!!!!! Like with all my being. With a passion. With anger I have never felt towards any character ever. I HATE THIS CHARACTER.

I hate the idea that I need to read this book and have SJM and fucken Lidia and any other bleeding heart character in CC who forgives her, GASLIGHT me into thinking she is some victim. She is a MURDERER. Her reason for being a double agent who murders her secret allies for the enemy are stupid and flawed and not worth the innocent lives she has MURDERED.

She is not a victim, she is the abuser. And her excuse for doing what she does is stupid. She had some accidental babies which she kept secret from EVERYONE and hid away. She is in the dungeons order ruhns torture all while she is gonna be pleading in his mind to “please talk to me I feel sad for hurting you and your family and i need you to forgive me and tell me it’s ok I murder innocent people daily.” And the worst part is sweet kind Ruhn will finally give in and talk to her all while having his skin peeled off and tell her “it’s ok your just doing what you have to” because that stupid fucken mate bond of theirs is gonna make him do it.

If SJM ever wants to do a rejected mate bond plot it should be for Ruhn and Lidia. This bitch deserves no happiness for the rest of her life. She should live in an isolated cottage in the woods somewhere where none of her victims or their families have to see her walking in the street with a smile on her face, like everything is normal. She has a metal bar for a jacket collar because of how many people she has killed. Every single one of her victims or victims families have every right to hate her and not be lectured on forgiveness being the greatest form of healing. FUCK NO!!!! SOMETIMES FOR A TRULY EVIL PERSON THEY DESERVE TO BE HATED!!!! She is the worst character I have ever come across.

And I love CC. I want to finish this book for Bryce and Hunt and for Tharion and Ithan. And originally I wanted to see Ruhn happy but I gave up that hope. But this bitch makes me so fuming mad when she appears on the page that I am actually contemplating if I should just DNF it.
