The Seal

Mombi knew it wasn’t enough to just transform Ozma to hide her. She also would have to do something about all that fairy magic the little princess held. It’ll just make things difficult and it might just result in her rebelling and running away. So after turning her into Tip, Mombi casted a magical seal (she learned about after Oscar helped her gain access to magic she wasn’t supposed to) that would prevent the little fairy from performing magic. That way, no one could put together she was hiding the princess. For years, Tip would try to use his magic only to feel a hurtful aching in his chest. It would get worse the more he tried. All that magic trying to break through and flow freely, but forcefully held back by the power of that awful seal, just as Mombi intended.

However, sealing away his magic did nothing to stop Tip from pulling pranks in retaliation against her cruelty and eventually running away to the Emerald City

And thankfully, Glinda was able to the seal with quick ease. However, removing the seal might’ve led to a tiny explosion from all that built up magic that led to Ozma’s hair turning a light color. Thankfully that was it and the princess couldn’t be more happier to finally be free of the seal that caused her so much misery

Anyone else find it funny that in one Mario game, we see Peach fighting a bunch of goombas and trying to escape after getting kidnapped? Because that means Peach canonically escapes her cage to cause problems by beating up all of Bowser’s goons while dashing for the exit.

It’s funny because Bowser’s trying to focus on getting rid of Mario and before he can launch his latest attack, he has to recapture Peach who’s already gliding gracefully out of the nearest window.

MEET DOLLY

This is Dolly. She’s a haunted porcelain clown doll who lives in a small theatre in Winkie Country. She’s a good friend of the main Oz group and doesn’t mind putting on a performance when in the mood. She may crack sometimes but she knows how to put herself back together

when mondo first comes over for dinner to meet ishimaru's dad, the first thing he see as he walks in is takaaki in the living room reading a newspaper with the comically large headline local motercyle GANG LEADER mondo owada released from JUVIE with mondo’s mugshot in perfect 4k. theres tension immediately and mondo, for the first time in his life, is a suck up and tries to speak perfectly poilte japanese and change all his mannerism to make takaaki feel better about his son dating a criminal. its does not fucking work and takaaki is trying to do a background check/JCS style intergation through the veil of passive agressive chitchat. kiyotaka somehow doesnt notice any tension genuinely thinks this first meeting couldn’t be going any better. lemme get my ass on ao3

Medieval AU: Taka is visiting Leon when they’re both kidnapped and locked away by a malicious sorcerer who wants to use Taka to blackmail his dad since he was bitter about how Taka’s grandfather treated them before. How will the Idiot Squad and Mondo rescue their royal buddies?

Taka and Leon were pretty secure when walking around Leon’s kingdom, since even though Leon had some different…mishaps every so often, he didn’t think Taka would get involved at all.

Yeah, that wasn’t the case. Two royals meant more ransom, as a sorcerer figured. Plus, it was easy to use Taka to blackmail his father. Not many people were fans of his family.

Naturally, Mondo was furious and was ready to rush in. Nekomaru and the rest of Leon’s friends convinced him they needed a plan first, since obviously a sorcerer would have magic on their side.

With his extra manpower, though, it might be a bit easier to barge right in. Leon and Taka surely weren’t taking everything sitting down, either, so they were going at the sorcerer from both sides.

And just like they thought, the sorcerer wasn’t exactly ready for all of them. Especially not the combination that was the chaos of Leon’s friends with the force of Mondo! The two royals could rest easy.

Scarecrow the Wizard

After Dorothy went home, Scarecrow did have to take over the wizard’s position. And his first objective was to learn magic. He asked Glinda for help in getting started and she gifted him cuffs so he can use magic without accidentally catching himself on fire during practice. He spent his early weeks practicing and learning new spells to be a proper wizard. He continues perfecting his craft after Ozma starts ruling and it becomes a bonding activity to learn practice new spells together

Kimi to Idol Character Theory

The reason why Meroron tries so hard to be number one to Purirun is because she feels her place Purirun’s heart is temporary and that she has to fight to keep that place or Purirun (aka her first and only friend) will forget about and leave her. Which means Meroron will be alone in the world like she was before, but it’s worse because her homeland is a wasteland. She doesn’t hate the girls as many think. She’s envious of the charm and the ability they (mainly Uta) have to make Purirun happy. After all, Uta, without her powers, was able to free Purirun and revive her memories. She was able to return Purirun’s Kirakirala, and yet Meroron couldn’t despite her best efforts to make Purirun happy. To her, that means she’s obsolete and that she might not matter to Purirun as she has the girls. We even see her ponder if she really might not be needed between her and the girls. She doesn’t recognize that not only does Purirun unconditionally cares about her, but the Uta, Nana, and Kokoro care about her too. Her arc is going to be learning that she’s unconditionally loved and she doesn’t have to fight to earn the affections of people who already care about her. She can be happy with Purirun and the girls. She just can’t see it yet

And it also might have something to do with whatever she gave up when becoming a Precure

Rena Rouge and Carapace

Designing these two was both tricky and fun. I did my best to mix their personalities and main elements of their miraculous animal.

As for their powers:

Rena Rouge’s illusions work more like how Gus’s did in Owl House and are much more sturdy over time and can even make her and others around her invisible to the enemy

Carapace’s shield is strong and can even make an entire barrier around him and his friends. Makes traveling easier. Just make a barrier circle and have Ladybug fly them all to their destination. Also his shield is perfect for sledding
