kabru. although he’s all calm and collected, his room is messy as hell. you frequently scold him for it while helping him tidy it up. the landlord once heard you from upstairs and started to join in on the lecturing. kabru can only smile sheepishly and kiss the scowl on your face as you pick up the random clothes on his bedroom floor while he sweeps.

rin. when she’s off practicing spells in her own time, you peel and cut slices of fruit for her to eat when she takes a break from training. on afternoons you can find her in the fields, wand in hand, murmuring small incantations. you sit under the shade of a nearby tree with apple slices, berries, and her favorite dried fruit.

mickbell. he takes naps in the most random places, while he usually uses kuro as a pillow, you’re also one of his victims. sometimes he just craves to be soothed, and the way you pat and rub his back without making him feel stupid scratches an itch in him. don’t tell the others though, he’s defensive about showing his vulnerable side.

namari. whenever she comes back from a rough crawl through the dungeon, she usually goes to the tavern to relax and drink. but lately she’s been lessening her visits since you keep her at home to make her spare ribs. she sighs in content, happy and satisfied that she got to enjoy her favorite food made by her favorite person.

shuro. he’s easily stressed, sometimes even ignoring his own health and needs. you remind him to eat his meals and encourage him by pinching his ears and dragging him to the table. he’s a stubborn man, what do you expect? you basically have to force him to listen to his body’s needs and throw him into the nearest pool of water just to make him bathe. he thinks you’re scarier than maizuru because of this.

How would a ymbryne discover her peculiarity or rather manifesting it?

I love getting this kind of ask, my dear, you just gave wings to my snake.

First of all, I think that in all ymbrynes, the transformation into a bird occurs before temporal control, since transforming into a bird is the "key" to an ymbryne's temporal powers.I would like to emphasize that I do not romanticize the transformation of ymbrynes, becoming a bird is a true body horror, it is something painful that they learn to tolerate and accelerate the pain, for those who see it like Jacob only imagine that it is something glorious (and it is, but that does not exempt them from the pain).

The first signs appear in childhood, usually not as young as Alma (she has the privilege of being the successor of one of the twelve powerful ymbrynes of Abaton). Feathers usually appear in the girls' hair and fluff on their bodies. They don't even know exactly what's happening, and these things disappear over time. Sometimes they chirp randomly and feel bizarre desires like eating insects and berries or picking up shiny objects. Some girls' vision also changes to that of their respective birds, which makes them fall and feel dizzy. And then they transform for the first time, which is a real nightmare.

Without any sign, feathers tear the girls' skin, causing pain and panic. Their screams don't last long because soon their throats are only capable of squawking like desperate birds. Their vision changes and their bones begin to shrink and become hollow, and this obviously causes immense internal pain. The girls in Panic fight against the transformation, which only prolongs the problem, and after several minutes of great pain, they completely become birds. Then the panic begins, they are in a completely bizarre situation, they are no longer able to speak, they barely know how to move, they do not know how to fly, and some are still baby birds wrapped in the fabric of their clothes, which makes everything more confusing and claustrophobic. They are humans trapped in a bird's body for the first time.

After they manage to calm down, their attempts to become human again work, but the process is again painful, now the feathers go back into the skin, their bones grow and become heavy and all their limbs grow, usually this hurts so much that they faint in the process and their bodies finish the metamorphosis while they are unconscious, making the little girls wake up naked and confused.

This is the beginning of the torment, new random transformations occur again and the girls can only accept it and not fight against the transformation since at some point they realize that if they transform faster the pain lasts less time, and so they try their best to speed up their transformation so it hurts less, when they become professionals they transform in seconds.

The temporal powers come as soon as they master the transformation, at first they can stop time without wanting to, and even make time go back a little (like Ymeene did in the stories to see the sunset). They do not have enough training to create a loop, and they do not discover their powers to erase memories since it is something very specific for them to discover on their own.

Without the help of a trained ymbryne their temporal powers are confusing and last very little.

This is my headcanon of how the ymbrynes' quirk manifests, and I'd also like to add that transforming into birds seriously harms the ymbrynes' bone health in the long run. Their bones shrink and become hollow very often during their lives and this damages their bones causing them to have problems such as arthritis, osteoporosis and other problems prematurely, and have more incidences of fractures and broken bones, this can be seen in some adult ymbrynes canonically.

Okay. Olivia and Petra (olivtra?)

I'll start with that.

Yeah, so... it's cute. I like this one quite a bit actually. I can imagine something like.. Olivia needing rescoreses on a project and Petra, without a single thought, runs out and comes back in a few hours(sometimes a day or two) with what she needs. And Petra handing them to Olivia with a proud smile on her face while Olivia also looks at her with a warm smile. But also a bit concerned cause she might be hurt. And if Petra IS hurt, Olivia would probably start tending her wounds while muttering stuff like "you idiot. I could have just gotten them from a store" and Petra just laughs it off.

They would cuddle a lot(+forehead kisses from Petra)(then Olivia chuckles and kisses her back)(oh god- what am I doing). And Petra loves playing with Olivia's hair 😌

They're very open about the relationship from the beginning. Probably starts flirting in the middle of a conversation with a whole crowd watching-

Next combo, Axel and Petra (...wait. hold on-- nvm. I can't find a ship name for this)

They're both a bit chaotic. Right? So they would do each other's interest often. Like Petra going to see Axel in Boomtown and having fun with him off on the side somewhere, or sneaking out together to go on a quick adventure or just talk. Sneaking around the griefers can get a bit difficult, but sometimes they make an appearance and just fight with/against the other griefers too. It's all in good fun.

I personally think Petra is good at cooking(and pretty much every other skill to a... an amount) but she isn't great at baking. And Axel on the other hand, great at baking. But cooking.. not as much(still good at it. Just not as good when it's compared to his baking skills). But he also likes to set the kitchen on fire sometimes so he needs someone watching over him. But Petra isn't great at watching over people(and would probably help him burn the place) so they just live off of raw meat and berries. Take out orders daily👏👏

They have a more... playful and friend-like relationship with each other rather than flirty or lovey-dovey shit. That doesn't mean they aren't lovey-dovey though. These cuties would have so much fluff when put in the right situations. I also think that Axel would hold Petra up in his arms a lot, and she really likes that since- he would probably be the only person that could do it(since she is taller than most people). Sometimes she literally crawls onto his shoulders and sticks there for hours if she doesn't have anything better to do.

Probably plays a lot of pranks together on others

Next ship! Olivia and Lukas (if you were expecting Petra again, you're WRONG.😈 This is completely random. I just picked the names randomly lol)(anyways- ship name- uh... darn it-)

They give each other book recommendations. I just think they would. Plus, Lukas sometimes helps Olivia with her redstone engineering, and since Lukas isn't as great as Olivia, she sometimes gives him small lessons about it. I gotta admit they would be so cute together 😫

Olivia also gives Lukas feedback on his writing, and Lukas insisted Olivia to try writing too. (I think Olivia would have a diary)

Lukas likes making Olivia small treats to eat while she's working. (And bring her back to reality when she gets into the zone too much)

Either they are trying to keep each other on a healthy schedule, or they both are too immersed in their work and both of them stay up to work for days without food or rest. There's no middle! But after a long time of no-rest working they would cuddle up on the couch and sleep under a comfortable blanket together 🥰🥰

Their relationship would mostly be fluff

They would definitely do a lot of baking together! They would share recipes, make new ones and taste each others baked goods. Axel is more into baking pastries or cake(like.. bread-ish?), while Lukas is more into cookies or muffins/cupcakes. Goes on picnics a lot with everything they made 🌸

They have this... uh... 'tradition' where they prank each other. Sometimes things get too heated and they fight. But they make up pretty easily and apologizes.

Lukas isn't a big fan of Boomtown. So Axel sneaks out a lot to see him. But Lukas still tries to go meet Axel himself, instead of relying on Axel to always come out to meet him.

Really tight hugs. (They are both very touchy and affectionate people)

They still kind of hold a grudge on each other for the past, but it's mostly solved. (They made it a joke to tease each other about it)

sometimes I like to think that in the war Mask picked up on ALOT of Wars habits (like the way he spoke to the way he walked)- including his eating habits, so when later Time joined the chain the captain almost immediately noticed his eating schedule and stuff and was fairly concerned abt it- but Time on the other hand was completely confused on as to what the fuss was about for years until Malon had to explain it to him.

Time also most definitely carries around a pouch of berries he can snack on at the most random of times (Malon is the cause of this)

I love the idea that Mask copies Wars during the War (intentionally or completely by accident) and ends up with a LOT of similar mannerisms, and neither if them realize this but the others (and Malon once she meets Wars) certainly do

Please tell us about your fallout ocs

This is like my dream ask and I am sitting here asking myself if I should show restraint or if today is finally the day I make my extensive and bullshit fallout oc lore everyone’s problem.

And the answer is you asked for this so I’m about to make it everyone’s problem! (I will do a cut because my god this is going to be VERY long)

For starters as much as I love fallout my favorite thing to do is push the boundaries of “under the right circumstances would this be something that could work in the universe” and I run with it, so if something most things I say sound like they might be a lil out of bounds, I most likely saw something that was barely given any attention and went I can work with this.

BECCA

Let’s start with my main girl, Becca, formerly Rebecca Riley. She was made in a lab using her parents DNA and they were the lead scientists in a program that planned to essentially make super humans to take back the world after the inevitable nuclear war that would wipe the whole planet. They were meant to be hardy to radiation, have a higher strength and intellect and be immune to a variety of diseases. Becca was the first, but before they could study her at length the bombs fell and she was instead chosen to be shipped off to vault 76 while her parents went to a different government vault that was meant to protect some of the most kept secret politicians and scientists of pre war world and allow them to continue to run things in secret. Anyways, Becca was only 3 months old when she entered the vault and kept in a more secluded area of the vault where she could be monitored and influenced to serve the US government and their goals when she would finally exit. Unfortunately for them, Becca wound up being a bit of a trouble maker and very independent, often sneaking off to just hang around and do whatever and go play with other kids and people in the vault and also hang out with the Overseer who she really liked being around. When the vault finally opened and the residents went out into Appalachia, her guardians also leaving her to go do their own thing after dealing her chaotic ass for years, she finally got her first taste of true freedom! And went a lil too crazy with it. After a few months of running around and doing whatever she pleased and trying to find a place to set her camp, she started to notice some changes with her body. Her super human abilities were triggered by the background radiation and her skin started to burn and melt in some areas, and she found herself having random blackouts and waking up in places surrounded by bodies and covered in blood and realizing oh shit, I’m blacking out and eating people. It is important to note that while she is part ghoul, she is not entirely a ghoul, but she was on the verge of going feral when she meets her friends (aka my friends who played the game with me!). Months pass and a good almost half of her face is sliding off but she’s joined a group that although is disgusted that she has to eat people sometimes to stay sane and will gag and give her a hard time in disgust every time she does, they still care for her and stick around for a while and they get to work exploring Appalachia together and trying to find something to help Becca and her bizarre cravings, every now and again splitting off for a few days to do their own thing. Becca eventually meets her brother who was her parents natural born son and not built like she was, and he’s apparently gifted at medicine and food and desperately wants to help her with her problem. He starts with removing her teeth since at this point she wears a gas mask to keep her face covered and her teeth are mostly all falling out and at her request he installs a set of permanent metal sharpened teeth (which made it extra fun for her when she eats firecracker berries). Becca continues to do adventuring with her friends and soon people start entering back into Appalachia as the Scorched are dealt with and her abilities enhance with the help of the mutations introduced into the world from the enclave. Eventually a small government faction shows up and she’s forced into it for a bit, wing told it was because of orders by her mother (who she has never met), and while she is there and constantly trying to escape she meets a guy a year younger then her named Keagan. Keagan gets up to shenanigans with her and they cause a hard time for what is essentially their captors, and eventually they’re like hey, let’s mess around and have sex, Becca was told that she wasn’t fertile so they weren’t worried. A few days later Keagan also confesses that he’s actually just like her, another superhuman who was let out into the world to reclaim it from the normal humans and that he wants to get rid of all of them so they can be the dominant species.

Becca is pretty repulsed by that way of thinking and pushes him very hard on trying to move away from it, saying that between the vault and the time that had passed since she got out and what she’s been through she doesn’t necessarily think there’s anything wrong with normal humans and tries to live as normally ash she can among them and enjoys the world for what it is, both good and bad. She tells Keagan that when they finally get away from the base they’re stuck at he should visit her at her home which is literally a giant house floating between two mountain peaks (yes this is actually based off my 76 camp which sits between the mountain peaks it fucking rocks). Some time passes and Keagan is slowly getting controlling and abusive, and Becca who can’t just go outside and gorge on bodies like she used to, is starting to slip into extreme irritation and aggression, and despite what she was told and what her and Keagan should not have been able to accomplish, she was in fact pregnant, and it was beginning to show. They get into a massive argument, her hunger and emotions finally at their limits, and the fight gets physical. Keagan doesn’t notice at first but the normal humans in the room start to get ill, and then they start to melt. Suddenly Becca’s bones are glowing blue under her skin, her eyes going black with glowing blue dots, and a thick blue mist fills the room coming from her. The Geiger counters are going so crazy they aren’t even clicking, just a constant high pitched scream. Keagan begins to do the same, glowing red and trying to fight her back, but Becca easily overwhelms him, and after a huge blast from her palm he flees. The radiation dies down and her body droops, but it’s taken its toll, more of her is burned and melting. Having killed everyone in the base by radiation alone, tired and hungry she eats them, and trudges home. Her friends came to check on her, surprised to find out she’s pregnant, even more surprised to find out that she is more pregnant then she should be and that they have got to find someone very fast to come help with the delivery, which is now made more complicated because when she is too emotional or under duress she starts to just emit large amounts of radiation. After some talking they decide her brother, a hazmat suit, and a shit ton of Rad-X and rad away would have to do, but until then they’re just gonna keep doing what they have been. When the day finally did come, quite early, her house was a glowing blue beacon on the mountain while her brother fought through countless waves of radiation to deliver Becca’s baby safely. And that is how Ezra, who only ever calls herself Vex, came to be. It wasn’t hard to guess that she shared the same abilities as her parents, not being at all bothered by the mass amounts of rads around her, the already faint burn scar across the side of her face and emitting a faint green glow in her lil bones. Becca was worried at first since she knew strong emotions would trigger Vexs abilities, but Vex was surprisingly a very calm baby, and was comfortable to be bundled up in Becca’s heavily armored backpack when they traveled. A few months passed and Vex was surrounded by people who loved her, she was a bright and happy baby, maybe she would have been a bright and happy person, if Becca did not seriously fuck up.

During a particularly intense battle with some scorch beasts, Becca felt the safest thing to do was hide Vex somewhere until the battle had ended, she checked on her in her backpack, gave her a little kiss on the head, zipped her up, and tossed her in a trash can. That was the last time Becca ever saw Vex, who was snatched away by raiders while the fight was happening. Becca would not see Vex until hundreds of years later outside of Nuka World, standing over her grave, and once at a glance before then. Though their paths overlapped often and they heard of each other, they never knew their relation to each other because Vex had stopped going by Ezra.

She spent the rest of her years in Appalachia searching for Vex, and even reached a breakthrough with her brother and was able to phase out her cannibalistic urges and stop her mind from going feral. The only time she caught a glimpse of Vex was when she had raided a Blood Eagle camp to rescue one of her friends (who had been captured years ago and was taking care of Vex and raising her) and through the lens of her gas mask she caught a glimpse of a kid with snow white hair and glowing green eyes with a burn across her face, but never again did she see her. When Becca finally left, she traveled north as far as she could, saying the cold felt very good on her body and slowed the radiation down from completely melting her body away. She spent many years in radiated winters running her little farm and helping some locals. She would later come to find out that extreme cold slowed her body down enough that she could actually heal some of the burns just a bit (almost like if she sat in cryo for a couple years her body could like, heal itself, wonder if that comes into play at all).

One day Becca wakes up in vault 111 with weird memories of a pre war life and family and nothing else. Her mother was at it again with a new found passion and like every other person with power in the fallout universe she was put into a computer and is determined to get Becca under her thumb, but she also has NO IDEA Vex exists. Her hope was that if they could erase Becca’s memories and give her new ones then maybe she would bend more easily to their ideals, but while altering her memories they noticed a strong maternal… something in her brain that was unwavering and would not go away, so rather then trying to remove it they just replaced it with shaun, who was informed of everything and knew the whole time (my personal take on why he seems so detached from your character anyways) and was trying to help Becca’s mother control her.

So Becca wakes up in vault 111, finds a mirror, freaks the fuck out because her body has almost entirely put itself back together after half of it was practically falling off and her jaw was starting to expose, and now she looks normal with some slight scarring. She can’t point out why but she is freaked out. She ALSO has her metal teeth still, she cant regrow her teeth, why they left them there she never learns. So at this point she goes out to try to figure her life out and why she feels so off. Her mutations are gone having been healed away while in cryo, she has nothing.

And it is at this point that she really just turns into a wanderer for a bit. In terms of FO4 story she’s not actually that involved, I just ran with what I could. I can tell you her powers were inspired by Oswald in Kiddie Kingdom at Nuka World (I also paid someone to get me a mod of his eyes dyed blue so I could really bring her to life lmao) and that I know her powers are kind of a push and that obviously these things weren’t actually happening, I just wanted to mess around. Anyway, around let’s say, few years post FO4 main story, she’s got her powers back, she’s got her memories back she got her beloved scorch crystal plugs for her ears back in, she’s back to traveling and looking for Vex (if it’s not obvious by this point Becca doesn’t age normally, she looks somewhere in her 20s-early 30s she just agrees with whatever number people throw at her, so she’s going off the assumption that Vex is the same way and also because she’s been hearing about her) but first she gets sidelined by Keagan, who is back and a bigger douchebag then ever. He wants a rematch, saying if he wins then she has to stay with him, telling her that he was specifically made to be her mate even if they can’t have kids (he says it in a funny way, like he’s not really sure, he assumes the baby died during birth or their last fight from radiation) and continues to go on this rant about how he was made by her dad using his friend and his friends wife’s DNA and they might share a liiiiiiittle bit from her dad but what does it matter, to which she’s like hm hope Vex is doing well (she’s not) and that he wants her back at his side where she belongs. Becca, who at this point is aro ace anyway she doesn’t really care, is like you can eat my entire ass, and after some squabbling and several days of travel, they have their showdown in Ohio, which was so intense it turned almost the entirety of Ohio into a massive uninhabitable zone of radiation and craters, with Becca emerging from the blue radiated haze glowing, covered in blood, and holding Keagan’s head. After giving it a good kick into some bushes, she heads back to Boston and chill in cryo for a few more years because the fight just about killed her. When she does finally come out many many years later (not fully healed but enough that she doesn’t really care, she also takes a bunch of notes and starts working to make a home with her own cryo pod in it so she doesn’t have to keep coming back to the vault and hopefully can return to Appalachia one day) she hears about this crazy bitch in Nuka World who glows green and emits radiation and has been a major pain for the common wealth when she does decide to show her face. 2 days before Becca decides to set off to Nuka World, she sees a massive green explosion over the mountains in that direction, and is overcome with a pit of anxiety in her stomach. When she arrives, the raiders tell her that explosion was in fact Vex self destructing her body in order to protect her nephew from something that attacked them.

And so the story goes into my own personal thing from there, from her perspective at least, but for the most part she find out Vex has two nieces and a nephew from a family that adopted her and Becca decides to stay and help them for a few years before setting off back to Appalachia where she remains for mostly the rest of her life, occasionally getting a wild hair up her ass and traveling to go say hi to old friends who are still around. In the end Becca was just a rebellious kid who wanted freedom in a life that was constantly trying to chain her down, all she wanted was to see her daughter and know that she was ok and doing good after making a huge mistake, only to find out that her daughter was actually really shitty and did a lot of fucked up stuff but tried to do the right thing in her final moments to protect her family. So she just keeps moving forward taking it day by day.

VEX

Vex is a character that all of my friends love and I love her too but I fucking hate her because she’s awful because I made her that way because I wanted to. I love her.

She had a great start to life, surrounded by love and a mother who didn’t know what the fuck she was doing but was trying very hard and loved her very much and didn’t grow up with parents so she didn’t exactly have anyone to tell her how to take care of a baby, especially not a radiated one. When Vex was taken by the Blood Eagles they had crammed so many chems in her that her powers essentially when dormant and other then not being very effected by radiation, she was pretty human for a while. By all accounts though, Vexs abilities were way beyond that of Keagan and Becca’s, the ways she was able to work with her radiation were almost supernatural and inhuman. So you can imagine when one day a large camp of Children of Atom are all hanging out and this white hair rad resistant little girl walks on in like it’s nothing, that’s like Jesus walking into church and having a seat in the congregation. Except no one knew it was him. They had no idea of her powers because they were dormant, but they saw the way radiation moved around her and the way it swirled and would come to pin points and lines and of course they all just start to freak out. So Vex spends a few years with the COA until she’s uuuhhh an adult, let’s just say 19 yeah, and she goes off to do her own thing, not really taking their beliefs but their knowledge with her. She ends up in a small town on the edge of a giant radiated crater (essentially like the edge of the glowing sea but even bigger) and decides to hang around and do some work. Her teeth also start to fall out and what does she decide? She would be so badass with a pair of sharp metal teeth (I really wanted a like mother like daughter moment with that, on her gravestone they put her teeth in it and Becca laughs about it), so she gets that done while she’s there. And suddenly she starts having these urges. The urge to eat people. Her powers may be dormant but it’s still slowly taking its toll on her mind and body. One day 2 families roll into town with a ton of life saving medical knowledge and they decide they’re going to stay and help they town out for a year or two, and they decide to adopt Vex. She loves her new family and once again it really seems like she’s on the right path to a happy chill life, until they suddenly have to leave, and the night they did Vex had been going for a walk and finally snapped and killed and ate someone and got caught. When she got home she found a hidden note from her sister saying they were in danger and had to flee and that she was taking a huge risk leaving something behind to let her know where they were going but that she didn’t want to lose her and it was worth the risk. The family had no idea about Vexs crimes having fled before anyone came to tell them. Vex was thrown in jail and sentenced to death, but in this down how they did the death penalty for particularly bad people was they lined them up all chained together and sent them into the crater to die slowly by radiation. Vex didn’t fight it and went in willingly, making crude jokes the whole time but not saying that it basically wouldn’t do anything to her, and her tiny self trudged along in with three other giant dudes and they walked and walked until one died, and then the other and finally the last one. At that point Vex shrugged and figured there was no one around to judge her for it and just slowly at them over the next few days and then continued to walk through the crater until she found another group of COA and hung out with them. Thanks to the crater being even more irradiated then most places and the amount of time that had past since her kidnapping with the blood eagles, all of the radiation basically supercharged her and reawakened her abilities, and thanks to her time with the COA she almost immediately had a fine turned grip on how to use it in ways Becca and Keagan never considered possible. After a few months she slowly walked back into the town and leveled it before heading to new Vegas (yeah I am pulling all of these together what about it)

The only thing she did was go to the sierra madre while she was out there. Because she was stuck there for many many years. She went from this powerhouse who couldn’t be stopped by anything and was practically immortal to a collared dog and the red fog ate up her radiation no matter how hard she tried to use it. When she did eventually reach the point where she could just leave it behind she couldn’t let go. Not because of the gold or anything of importance there, but because it was the first time in her life she was actually terrified and felt mortal. She didn’t know how to handle it, so she lived there until she finally got the nerve to push through the fear. By that point she assumed that anyone who would have held a grudge against her was already dead and gone or too old to do anything so she headed back and on her way she heard about this woman with abilities like hers but she glowed blue, and of a man who did the same but was red. She shrugged and kept going. She Rand back into her sister who had married the boy who was her best friend and son of the family who came into town with them and they had 3 kids together, Kris, Clarke and Asher. Vex didn’t hang around for long and instead would constantly come and go for long or short periods at a time until eventually they landed in Boston and she ran off and became overboss of Nuka World. But because she was so infrequent with her time there, they would put someone else in charge short term while she was away. Eventually her sister died and Vex buried her on her private island that she found while exploring, away from where anyone would disturb the remains and sat there in grief for a few days before running off and doing whatever the fuck she wanted for realsies because now she does have to worry if her sister will hear about it. She proceeded to have 2 kids with random men that she kept on that island in secret but they were well taken care of and eventually came home one day and they were gone she accepted that pretty quickly because she was well aware she was a shit person and a worse mother beyond being able provide food shelter water and protection. Her kids, Nix and Gavin, do not have powers but are pretty hardy and aren’t affected by rads or poisons or diseases and such. They both go off and do their own thing, both eventually coming to nuka world after hearing about Vexs death giving everyone especially Becca a massive heart attack because how on earth did that bitch have kids and no one knew.

While she was overboss her nieces and nephew arrived at her door begging for help after the death of their parents and finally finding Vex and clearly having been through some shit. You could say this was the start of an attempted redemption arc for her, she did care about them a lot and prioritized their safety and started personally training Asher saying that if there was a way then her powers would be his someday, citing something she learned from the children of atom. And when she died he did indeed get a fraction of her power, and unfortunately he also got her voice in his head and she talks to him sometimes but he decides it’s best not to tell anyone about it.

There’s a lot more that goes into her and other characters but at that point we’re taking an already hard to keep within what could be considered possible and REALLY pushing it into more fallout inspired territory which this is already enough of, so I’m not going to get into it also I’ve been writing this for like a few hours at this point lmao so for now we just get Vex and Becca and their complicated backstories that I still adjust here and there sometimes. This is stupidly long and I know the dates of things are all over, I used to have like accurate dates for things but I’ve also been chipping away at these characters since I got the game years ago so. I know it’s a lot, I know it’s not entirely lore accurate to the fallout universe, I know it’s really off the rails, but these are my babies and I love them a lot lol. Another Percy Jackson fic from my drafts - this is kind of an exploration of possible children of Demeter powers.

A child of Demeter with an instinctive sense for the uses and dangers of any plant they come across. Mint and ginger for nausea, don’t touch that it’s poison oak, that’s a stinging nettle it’ll hurt if you touch it, that one’s good for basket weaving, hey that’s an edible mushroom, etc. 

“Here, this will help.” She wraps a few broad leaves around their hand. “It’s nicknamed the band-aid plant.” 

“Don’t worry, I’ve got a plan.” She leads them to the base of an enormous tree, grown over with moss and kudzu vines. Reaching out a hand, she beckons to the vines to grow towards her until they’ve formed a dense curtain around the base of the tree. She sweeps a section of leaves aside: “Go on in, I’ll just finish up the camouflage out here before I join you.” 

“Why are you eating random vegetation?”  

“I’m not. These are wood sorrel, you see them all the time around here.” 

They sit with their back up against the concrete wall of their shelter- a drainage pipe almost large enough to stand up in. “We’re gonna have to risk a supply run before long. We’re almost out of food,” they warn as they cut open one of the four remaining cans- spaghetti o’s again, they note with disappointment. Cheap pasta is all well and good, but the canned stuff is unpleasant when it’s cold. Slimy.  

“Hold your pegasi, I’ve got a better idea.” Her eyes glint mischievously, and they’re certain that whatever this plan is, she knows they won’t like it. 

“Your ideas make me nervous.” 

“Just trust me.” She unfolds herself from the mossy ground and brushes the twigs from her jeans. “I’ll be back soon.” 

Sighing, their friend settles in to wait. Her plans can get a little out of control sometimes, but once she’s got an idea in her head there’s nothing to do but brace yourself. 

She returns an hour later and flings her backpack to the ground between them, already unzipping it and talking a mile a minute. “This is even better than I’d hoped for- walnuts, blackberries, wild leeks!” 

They eye the heap of plants dubiously- other than blackberries, they recognize none of it. “Are you sure you know what you’re doing?” 

“Of course, I’ve been doing this with my mom for years - my other mom, not Demeter. She’s an expert on foraging, and pardon my ego but I’m no rookie either. It’s safe, I promise.” And to demonstrate, she bites into something from her haul- a broad-leafed plant with a long, deep pink root.  

Cautiously, they follow suit, taking a tiny bite from the root end. It tastes like an overwhelming version of garlic, like fire on their tongue, and they try to swallow it as quickly as possible so as not to taste it more than necessary. “Gah, what is that?” 

She's still munching away at the thing, apparently not bothered by its heat, and she looks amused by their reaction. “Ramps, also called wild leek. Sorry, should’ve warned you they’re strong - kinda a love it or hate it sort of plant. Here, have some blackberries.” 

They take a handful of berries, grateful for anything they can recognize, and pop one into their mouth – juicy, sweet, and perfectly ripe. 

“This is nice and all, but I don’t think berries are gonna put much of a dent in my appetite.” 

“Oh! That’s what the nuts are for- I should’ve led with that.” She pulls yellow-green spheres from the bottom of her bag- they don’t look like any nuts they’ve ever seen. “We’ve got walnuts and butternuts, just gotta crack them first. Here, I’ll show you.”  

They watch as she carefully peels off the soft outer layer with her fingers- “Careful, this stuff will stain your clothes AND your skin”- it’s thick and fleshy, not at all something one expects to see around a walnut. But beneath it is the familiar hard shell, which she breaks open by smashing it with the hilt of her dagger. “And that’s all there is to it. Dig in.” She tosses one half of the nut in her mouth and offers them the other, they take it gratefully, relieved to taste something familiar amongst all these strange plants she seems to know like the back of her hand. Then they take out their own knife and start cracking shells with all the enthusiasm of someone who’s been eating canned ravioli cold for the past two days. Since, you know, they have.

As a European, I grew up with a bunch of kids shows from across Europe. It was common we got each other's shows, and also collabed on shows sometimes (especially animated shows from Europe often had collabs between like 4 different animation studios)

Anyway, I need to say... the DUTCH LIVE ACTION SHOWS that they also aired where I live were so unhinged???????

First one I remember was "dat juf, tot morgen", and was about what different kids did after school. We followed one new kid every episode. And some of these episodes were kinda freaky???? We had one about a girl who woke up in the middle of the night, and her mom was gone, so she just spent time running around desperately yelling "MAMMA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". Another one was someone going to visit a woman they called "apple grandma" but they entered the wrong room at the nursing home, and some guy kept chasing after them and they had to hide.

Next one I remember was called "Pluk van de Petteflet" and I think it was a movie they simply cut down to 4 episodes. It was about this little boy who was homeless without any family, and he searched for a place to stay. He found a little croft at the top of a giant apartment complex, but this mom that is all about cleanliness hates him and wants the craft as her sewing room. It was based on a book and you can really tell because everything is REALLY cartoony. What I remember the most was this horse that was 5 meters long and when suddenly a bunch of workers started dancing. Also, this random hippie that lived in a swamp and sang about "hassle berries" and how they solved everything (I think it was what caused the workers to start dancing later)

Then it was Abi, which was about this girl who lived in this apartment area, where I recall most episodes was her playing with different kids that also lived there. I mostly remember these red haired sisters who told her if she kept eating carrots she'd have red hair like them. Also their baby sibling was born red haired because their mom ate carrots, or something. There was also this groups of nuns they called "penguin women" and they believed they actually had penguin feet that they hid under their long, black shawls.

Venis lore…🤓 (TW on suicide, abuse and talking about schizophrenia, talking about murder, gore???)

Basically lets go back to 1997, venis was born in a small cabin in the mountains in scotland he was raised and fed by judith and thomas (his biological parents) his mother abused him and his father never paid attention to him since he was a unwanted child one time when venis was about 6 his mother slashed his face with a knife creating a scar (she was cutting vegetables and got mad at him) after that when venis turned 8 he was commanded by his mother to go get father for dinner since he was away for too long when venis did find his father he saw his father hold a gun in his mouth with a monotone face venis was confused so stepped forward towards his father but he only looked at venis and shot himself committing suicide in front of venis. After that venis dragged his fathers body to the cabin and calling his mother over saying that he found his father time skip to a year.. venis mother judith left one night without saying a word venis’es fathers body was burried next to the cabin ever since that day venis become more and more schizophrenic imagining fake friends to keep him company and talking to random objects once venis turned 10 he poured bleach into his left eye claiming that he would be finally able to see his father with his ‘dead’ eye after a while he did start to have hallucinations of his father but it was the version of the father where he had his face blown off..after a few years (venis was 14 then) he started to haunt for food like small animals since the local mushrooms and berries weren’t enough for him to survive he had planned on killing a small grey wolf but seeing the small wolf all alone abandoned by his family venis decided to adopt him and call him ‘abogandro’ ever since that day abogandro helped venis haunt for food and being able to survive after venis turned 24 he started to kill anyone who decided to enter his side of the woods taking their heart and leaving the body open on the trees their organs on the ground venis also was marking his territory with wooden craved stars into the trees……venis is currently 26 still with the wolf by his side still living in the small cabin but this time he was searching for his mother..venis is very scared of large groups of people and cities in general

(long ass post ahead):

pond leaders can be male or female. gender doesn't matter as much as their strength, leadership skills and size. unlike quagsire, clodsire have no sexual dimorphism. they can choose to lead alone or with a mate. sometimes, even a mate may actively decline leadership duties (this is the case for papá clod's main mate).

pond leaders are referred to as Sires regardless of their gender.

sires have an 'army' or 'guard' - a group of select clodsire strategically placed around the pond to be on the lookout for danger, predators, babies that might've gone astray and such. in a way, rika used to be part of papá clod's guard or army, and much to his surprise, the most efficient member of it. arceus bless her fast human legs LOL

although pup rearing skills are more often seen in female clodsire, male rearers aren't unheard of. clodsire that aren't army members often take on the role of looking after pups, foraging for food and such.

members of the army can be either gender as well. if a female member becomes pregnant though she's laid off until the puppies hatch and grow up a little bit, to which then they can return to their duties.

on that note, wooper are referred to as puppies.

pond leaders are selected in a competitive manner, i.e., either a clodsire from within the pond or an outsider clodsire may challenge the current sire to a fight, and the winner gets to keep the leadership role and kick the other clodsire out. in rare ocassions the sire may spare the intruder and even allow it to join the pond. these fights rarely end in death unless one of the clodsire is particularly violent about it. sometimes, if the leader is pretty successful in fending off intruders throughout their life, upon growing old they may pass on their leader title to one of their offspring or another clodsire of choice.

papá clod was a clodsire that was already living in the pond and challenged the previous pond's leader, as he was unhappy with their management of the pond and their population was shrinking due to their careless handling of it. he promptly kicked them off upon victory.

(cw violence and animal death) while clodsire are too big and sturdy/poisonous to be targeted by anyone, paldean wooper are extremely vulnerable and often preyed upon by golduck and flamigo. croagunk and toxicroak don't eat them, but may kill a wooper if they find it alone, for sport. the aforementioned bird pokémon often also tear off a wooper's gills by the base to render them defenseless/remove their source of bodily poison before killing and eating them. some survivor wooper from rika's pond often had torn gills because of this. thankfully none died during rika's stay in the pond and grew up happy and healthy, if a little weak. wooper gills also function like a cat's whiskers, so if they're torn off in any way, they may have trouble walking and/or hearing and feeling their surroundings.

golduck and clodsire don't prey on each other, but they prey on each other's pre-evolutions (golduck prey on paldean wooper and clodsire prey on psyduck). clodsire also ocassionally feed on tadbulb and goomy, as well as pond algae, berries and chunks of rushes.

while they ferry their puppies across water on their back, they may ocassionally also carry them in their mouth.

clodsire courtship involves the male showing off his spikes and bellowing deeply and loudly. the deeper, the better. if the female accepts, then he will begin bringing her tiny pebbles, sticks and leaves as a display of affection, to solidify their mateship.

clodsire and wooper with water absorb as an ability are safe to touch (except for the gills or spikes); those with poison point are okay to touch but not with your mouth, generally, unless you eat pecha berries in advance. (i'm looking at you, rika)

clodsire are MUCH FASTER on water and wet mud than on land. they may even rival golduck while swimming.

baby wooper often burrow themselves in mud both for camouflage and to keep their bodies moisturized. clodsire often do this as well.

an obirin ask: what are some activities they like to do together? (excluding sex)

-One of their favorite activities together is definitely going to the beach! It's their favorite date spot, where Obito takes them to a lovely secluded cove where they would set up their picnic basket and just swim together. Sometimes they'd have a picnic in a meadow too, if they want a change of scenery.

-Another one is hitting the hot springs! It's something Rin would decide to do for Obito because he's been working so hard, so she decides that she wants them go to a hot spring and book a private section for the two of them where they can sit, relax, and drink sake together.

-Visit tourist attractions in Konoha and the Land of Fire; so they would go around places and districts they have always wanted to see but never been to, and just explore those places and shop around. This would mean that they love traveling together, so they would also visit other civilian villages outside of the Land of Fire and maybe the Shinobi Nations such as Sunagakure.

-Sometimes, when it's a rainy day and they're both stuck at home with nothing to do, Rin and Obito would cook or bake together. xD This is definitely Rin's idea, but she'd drag Obito into it, and the two of them would have fun making a mess in the kitchen. Or sometimes, Rin would want to try new recipes she hasn't tried before, and Obito would be her judge (don't worry, Rin is a good cook so nothing happens to him xD).

-Obito would take Rin to her favorite landmarks - they're always waterscapes, such as rivers, lakes, waterfalls, seas... because those places make Rin so happy. She'd take off her shoes and run by the shores, or even dive for a swim and spend time in the water beneath the sunlight. It's just Rin's personal favorite thing to do and he loves to be a part of making it happen for her.

-Berry-picking or apple picking during spring time is something they both like to do just for fun. They'd be on a break one day, and they'd visit wild fields and just have fun picking berries or apples, then sitting on a tree branch, and eating them. Rin would usually sit on Obito's shoulders as she picks them (much to his delight), and Obito likes to tease her by wiggling her a little, which makes her squeal.

-Stargazing together in a meadow. They usually share their deepest thoughts and tend to cuddle one another when they're in a quiet meadow at night time, just underneath the moon and stars. Sometimes they'd sit on the rooftop of his house and try to make an image out of constellations, and come up with stories together.

-I mentioned before they would usually sit together on the balcony, in which Rin makes fresh green tea and sweet dangos, and they would just sit together in comfortable silence, with Obito's head resting on her lap or on her chest, and she would play with his hair and make him sleep. They'd talk about silly, random things, or even make each other laugh. Sometimes, they'd play with their cat, or Obito would just hold Rin to him between his legs while she rests her chest on his back, and enjoy the sunset quietly.

Being held by his Grandmother Christine in the rocking chair next to his crib, he remembers she has blond-white long hair, she was cold and her arms were very thin and wrinkled, he remembers being called "jakey" or "Tommy" but never by his real name as he was falling asleep.

(When he mentioned this to his family at dinner one night. Taliya and Lo'ak were shocked while Jake has an amused face like it was just a fucking joke.

"It seems he's crazy like your sister, baby." Jake says to Lo'ak.

At bedtime, Taliya said to her little brother that Grandmother Christine died a year before his birth.)

🍨How does your OC compose in stressful situations?

The majority of times, he just cries until he can calm down and think better the situation. When he gets to be 13, after try to be more like jake told him a boy is supossed to be but failing, he just accepts that he is a cry baby, so he just hides from daddy when he cant take it anymore, and cry until the nerves are gone. Also but this is mostly a way of cope with any bad situation in general that is fun of the situation, making bad and pesimist jokes about it.

Tw: self harm mention.

He is not gonna lie that he thought sometimes in hit or cut himself every time he cries in a form of punishment but one of the bad things of be capable of see and interact with ghosts is never be alone and privacy is a foreign concept to him, so he ended to decline that option.

[MUSHROOM ASK] How likely is your OC to eat random berries/mushrooms they find?

Very high, i can see him picking a white mushroom from a tree in one of the family trips to the beach and his curiosity winning over his reason (something that happens often), and as consequence having to being taken to the hospital inmdediately.

Also, i have the hc like one of the characters from "One hundred years of solicitude" By Gabriel Garcia Marquez, between his 4-8 years he liked to eat dirt until Jake had to force him to stop by the bad way.

🍎Who does your OC value above all else?

I think the easiest answer would be Taliya bc is not just his oldest sister but the person that helps him in everything and often deals with the problems he causes. But, is also truth that Lo'ak is the person that always showed him the most affection and love when he needed it, and Jake...well Jake is Daddy and he always was there to protect and take care (if the care was good or bad way is another topic) of him, so yes, he is also important.

In resume, i think he values his family above everything else even if it is fucked up.

🍒Who is your OC's perfect companion?

Between the alive, Taliya without doubt but between the ghosts that are always walking, looming, etc through his house is Neteyam, the first ghost that presented to him by his real name, something that ghosts doesnt do often.

Neteyam would help him escape from Jake when things are tense, he would talk with him about almost everything (Except about Jake and Lo'ak and the forbidden attic) and he is maybe is his best friend.

🍅How misunderstood is your oc?

Well, we can say he suffers over toxic masculinity from part of Jake (also a little bit from Taliya and Loak but is more something that they have internalized from living in pratiarchy, etc). Being too strict with what he does, make him try his same hobbies (hunt, shooting bc #americamilitardad trauma and boxing when he is older), openly dislike when Lovu shows his emotions by crying or being too excited (even if lovu inherited being emotional from him bc lets be honest: loak is in harmony with his heart and Rjake is emotions mess like his son (just that Lovu is more of the crying type while rjake the oppsite)).

He is also very judged by his teachers, having problems to take attention to class, almost always being found sleeping during class (he and taliya share the same sleep problems but he is worse bc even if she can see shadows, she can't heard them unlike her brother can with ghosts. "Grandpa Ron loves sing in the bathroom at midnight." He says to his oldest sister one morning on their way at school. "He sucks at it but he pretends the oppossite.") and sometimes he screams in class out of nowhere (a ghost's problem, they like play rude with him in some ocassions)

🥭 What colours represent them the best? And why? Does this differs from their favorite colors?

Mmmm...blue, dark green and gray, mostly due the ghost magic thing and because he is a sad anxious boy 24/7 that love rainy days while his favorite colour would be yellow or orange.

🧅 What is surefire to make your OC cry? Who knows of this information?

He hates the silent treatment, the silence is not jus unnatural for him, and if he doesn't talk with someone alive the dead ones's voices would be the only sound he could heard, but is also always has the meaning he did something really bad even if he cant understand what. Obviously, the one who apply this the most is jake but sadly, pre-teen taliya used to do it too when they fought until her brother ended crying all night one time, making her realize it was very serious for him.

🍕How good is your OC at sharing? How do they share something if there is not enough supply?

More than share, Lovu never had something he could call completely his (his clothes are his daddy or uncle, toys were taliya's first, the ghosts love steal his things or hide them to mess with him, etc) more his relationship with taliya makes him learn to share almost everything since young age so i can see him always being open to share something that there is not supply for (except inthe specific case where is to someone outside of his family and is about basic life item like medicine that they would need, in that case he would say the other person to fuck off (not literally ofc bc he would shit his pants first)

🥃 What does your OC look for in a friend? What do they find is a turn-off?

He is a happy with a friend that would stay with him even after they notice how he talks to a wall sometimes. tbh, he is a very lonely kid like his sister and their daddy is Rjake, he doesnt have high-moral standards for a friend, while they don't treat him like if he were stupid and is a good person making conversation, he would not care if they have killed all their own family and keep the bodies in the back garden of their house as long as they don't involve him in that problem.

("Your bestfriend is fucking ghost," Taliya said to him one time.

"And you don't have friends at all," He fought back. "That's why you make me follow you in everything."

"That hurts my feelings."

As his sister, he is from a small hidden town that my peanut brain didn't chose a name yet for it but tbh even if everyone there knows each other due to be so small, he likes his house that has a lot of privacy and space, also there are rumors about ghosts being stronger in big cities and he already has enough of that in the present.

🌾 How picky is your OC with food? What will and won't they eat?

Thanks to Grandfather Ron's ghost telling him about his most explicit experiences in combat (he was exagerating a good part of them tho) Lovu started hate meat and he is vegetarian (this causes a lot of jokes from Jake)

We can say he is very an inocent kid in general but not bc he cant understand what is hapening around him (Taliya and neteyam are also a good help atleast know when something bad is happening in the house) to him in that way but more bc he is constantly deniyng what is the reality of why his house is full of ghost haunting it, especially the ones who are not related to him or his family.

🌳What's your OC's favourite thing to do at the park?

Unlike Taliya, Lovu doesnt like being at the park at all, too much sun, too much kids (even if himself is one) too much noise but when he is there, he likes pass hours in the hammocks, playing "i spy with my litte eye" with neteyam or his sister, doing his best to ignore the ghosts of kids around the place bc they always have the worst backgroud stories of how they died and he doesnt need to know about it.

I cant so much here bc it would be heavy spoilers from Family Tree so i just will say he and Taliya are separated from their parents for some months and none of them is having a good time with it.

💯charlotte: 1.Charlotte technically has like, dissociative amnesia, which is to say a lot of her childhood she doesn't remember properly due to truama 2.Charlotte is like genetically(?) a very, not powerful but like healthy(?) vampire, this is to say she requires less blood than most to be fully functioning (including magical abilities) esspecially less to be able to regenerate/fast healing, she also is less to prone to hunger, and more resistant and responsive to solid/human foods, and has greater potential for magical abilities 3.Charlotte's original (human) hair color was a lot more saturated and light blue than grey

🤍charlotte: 1. I mean she's a vampire, she has literally killed people, yes for survival but Charlotte isn't very 'mercy-ful' to her victims, thats not even acknowledging that like, she very much could have avoided killing anyone. She's definitely somewhat sadistic. 2. what really makes 1 questionable is she's not like, horribly regreting said actions, she's very apathetic bout it and while she understands that 'killing people is not good actually' she just sorta doesn't care, while she doesn't go out of her way to harm others she would do it again with no guilt 3. she's not very nice to Jim (the boo that is likely the ghost of one of the staff from the manor) Jim literally wants only the best for her and tries to take care of her and Charlotte sorta pushes him off and generally is really insensitive towards him

🤍kaiya: these are def less questionable considering they all improve greatly post-character arc but still 1. Kaiya's kinda a jerk sometimes, very 'not like the other girls tm' she generally doesn't assume the best of people or give them the benefit of the doubt. 2. she's sorta possessive over those she does deem her friend, like doesn't like a friend of hers being friends with people that aren't also her friends, and isn't past taking advantage of a friend's kindness. 3. Kaiya is always complaining about problems she's caused for herself, Kaiya can't get past her pride and stubbornness even when it would be for her own good, she refuses to admit when she's wrong even when she KNOWS she's wrong

🥪Sunny and Daisy having picnics and lunch dates where they eat various fruits and berries and whenever they have pokebeans sunny points out their heart-shaped nfjksnfadfa. screw it ima share their favorite foods from like the foods that are in pokemon games. sunny's favorite berries are nomel and belue, Daisy's are lum and haban. their go-to drink from the lil pokemon center cafes alola has would be pinap juice for sunny and roserade tea for daisy. There's also those restaurants with z-meals throughout alola. but i'm pretty sure the options are just 3 different meal sizes. Though the battle buffer in hau'oli city does have options, Sunny would get hoen ramen and Daisy would get the rindo salad. Sunny would pick a sour malasada even over a mythical malasada, and Daisy would favor sweet and bitter malasadas. Sunny likes yellow pokebeans the best and daisy likes orange. Daisy's been to multiple regions and has talked to Sunny about all the food he should try if they ever visit. I think it'd be cute if they visited galar together, in which Daisy would like sweet bean medley curry and Sunny would like sour coconut curry. Out of sandwich recipes from paldea Sunny would like tropical sandwiches and Daisy would like smoky sandwich or noodle sandwich.

🥪Button's love for apple juice is almost irrational, like the guy will go through lengths to acquire apple juice. fnkajdak Button really likes Onigiri and seafood but in all honesty his day to day lunch is just instant microwave noodles

😓Kaiya is very stubborn, she doesn't like being talked down to at all and she feels like letting others teach her new things is like admitting their supeirior to her, this is a big part of her arc sense another character in her story, Suika is very much a mentor type character (while kaiya's the magical girl protag, suika is the 'leader')

😓Button used to be leaning to the stubbron side but post-angstera he's very open, they're also the type of person who's just absolutely mind-blown and excited and curious about the simplest things

Celeste, human(?) cleric: She's VERY good at meeting deadlines, she's a deeply disciplined person who holds herself to a (mildly insane) very high standard. I think putting forward a good image is what motivates Celeste, her noble background (and her family's secret of running a necromantic cult) has ingrained a need to make herself appear as the best version of herself, I think deadlines are another way to show her discipline to others for Celeste.

🍄[MUSHROOM] How likely is your OC to eat random berries/mushrooms they find? Twig, ratfolk rogue: VERY likely, Twig grew up living in the water drainage system of a coastal city, living among a gang of other monsters all working for a secret Beholder (Twig's backstory is very vaguely set in Waterdeep: Dragonheist). I think fresh fruits/mushrooms weren't something Twig had access to much growing up, him and his brother sometimes got treats from the local bakery garbage, but those were the only luxury foods Twig had growing up. So I think being presented with berries or mushrooms, he's GONNA put it in his rat mouth, the poison resistance ratfolk get also helps XD

🍪[BUSCUIT/COOKIE] Does your OC prefer things simple or extravagant? Yikes, changeling bard: He likes both in different ways!! He was raised on a sheep farm, so I think Yikes will always feel most comfortable with a very simple existence, but he's also a thrill seeker and does enjoy being kind of a LOT as a person lmao, I think Yikes will always need a balance of both in his life to feel satisfied as a person, I don't think he prefers it all one way or the other

🥀 [WILTED ROSE] How good is your OC at meeting deadlines? What motivates them? 

Extremely good. I’ve said it often that Kendis main (sole, jkjk ... or am I) is stubbornness -- but I don’t think I can fully express how much so. It isn’t even the whole ‘if you looked up the word, you’d find her picture’. If stubbornness had an avatar, it would be Kendis. That is her motivation -- and often supplemented by passion and spite (oh hey, her other personality trait). Dogged and drive is Kendis Crawforod-Louel to a T (to their own deteriment at times ...)

🌹 [ROSE] Does your OC believe in true love? Why? 

No. Yes. Not in the traditional soulmate/star-crossed lovers sense. And not in the there can only be one sense. I don’t know how to explain it --like they don’t. BUT they believe you can be soo truly, ardently, unrepentantly devoted to someone(s). That you can love someone(s) with your whole heart that can shift/shape you. And it doesn’t have to solely be romantic. 

It’s kind of hard not to with their parents -- whether you mean og Kendis’ parents that are cute as fuck and still sweet on each other years later (even if they sometimes have sex with other people). Or Rebecca for as hurtful as she is one cannot deny she broke irreparably after Rookt tied. Or even her parents in kotsam, where Isabella is a great mom, who has a full life, but there feels like sometimes there is a ghost lurking behind her.

How can one not? Also OG Kendis and TWC Kendis has Austyn in their background and that’s .... yeah. And EXILE Kendis had Syfyn. And yeah.

Unlikely. LMAO. If they’re doing so, it isn’t random, it’s because they know what they’re doing. Most, if not all, versions of Kendis are wilderness trained.

Forest/woods. There are many places -- because Kendis is like a bear (hehe) in that whole gonna stop and take it in when I’m wowed by something lovely, but that’s usually the most likely.

Probably not at all??? Kendis is my foodie. They’d try anything at least once.

For most Kendis’ it is losing Austyn. For exile Kendis probably losing Syfyn, Tristan, and their family. And maybe that whole purge on the magic folk situation.

Highly. Minus the fact that they’re fairly in shape, and most Kendis’ are of of the supernatural variety so pain and endurance process is different than a human, cue the fact that they’re spitefully stubborn. Kendis would put with a lot for what they wanted and then minimize/brush off the aftermath.

🌸 [CHERRY BLOSSOM] Does your OC believe in legends/myths? 

Kendis is a skeptical optimist. Not quite the Scully. She’ll believe if she sees it. Or she’s done enough research on it to satisfy herself. But experience (sometimes) guides her. So, a Kendis living with myths and legends would be open to considering new ones.

I don’t know they have a favorite FLOWER (I need to ponder) -- but their tend to like pothos plants. Favorite color(s) are fandango pink, shades of purple, gold, and red. There are probably others but off the top of my head ...

Gwen is great at meeting deadlines. In her line of work, things are often literally life and death, so that's a pretty good motivator.

She definitely does. Why else would she go to the ends of the earth and be willing to lose everything for a boy shed only meet two days earlier?

On one of their first dates, Tequila took her hiking in the mountains. They went up this trail for a few miles and at the end there was a ridge with a huge waterfall cascading down into a crystal clear river. The sun was shining on it and they're were rainbows glinting in the spray. It was breathtaking.

Yellow roses and sunflowers because I admire her and would want to be her friend.

She's mildly picky. She'll try anything once but she knows what she likes. She will NOT eat haggis!

Gwen's not actively religious. She likes to go to church sometimes on holidays just for tradition's sake and she pays when things are especially dire but mostly she just believes in being nice and trying to do as much good as she can.

Gwen would go to themes of the earth for the people/things she cares about. She would also go to war to fight something she hates.
