Cara, thank you so much for inquiring as to how I’m doing. You are such a wonderful friend, and I’m so blessed to have you and other such friends. I was telling @shadowlass earlier thank you for looking out for me during my tough times and I mean it. Thank you. I know it’s not quite the same topic, but this sort of got me choked up so I wanted to take the moment to thank everyone who was here for me, looking out for me, the ones who would have stepped in if things had gone too far… the ones who loved me without asking.

On this topic, I’m doing better. I am!

I remembered reading about RA crippling hands through tendons becoming hardened and tightening so I decided to start stretching the tendons in my fingers, especially the interior ones. I have basically been stretching my fingers slowly over the backs of my hands, looking like I’m hyperextending them essentially. It’s painful, in a way, but it’s been working well.

I have to stretch every day, but it’s been helping. I can feel the tendons tighten every day, and I stretch multiple times throughout the day to counteract it, but the more I do it, the more it helps, and it hurts so much less.

I am so grateful that I figured it out.

I mean it still hurts a LOT. But it hurts a hell of a lot less than it did before.

Yesterday was my first full day on the laptop, also! And today I had a half day! I’ve been catching up on three weeks of missed PMs and e-mails and editing, and hopefully soon I can start writing. 

I’m missing that piece of my soul.

Happy birthday to me!

One year. Seriously? One year here. In this little, cozy and crazy virtual cave full of spells, silly things and first of all, friendship. Just a way of fun became an opportunity to meet new people, find friends, grow up and improve myself. Not likely to write this tbh. Mutual consent in smut scenes is super important to me. Although I guess I would perhaps play around with the idea of them being super thirsty for each other, yet not acting on it until after the effects of the sex pollen are gone.
