Happy 49 Birthday to Theo Rossi.

It's late and I don't love how it looks but I finally finished it so here's the Floozies + Jean-Yves home after the Trojans NYE party, with the song that inspired me (I think it fits Jean's healing really well)

I started it in October wanting to experiment with brushes & styles and abandoned it because I didn't like how it looked, but I made one of my New Year's resolutions to not get caught up in perfectionism and lose the joy of drawing, so I pulled it out of the abandoned wips folder and finished it. It's late and I don't love how it looks but I'm proud that I finished it : )

THE CHILD OF MISFORTUNE. There is something tragic about Victor/ia Alvarez— like an abandoned house that weeps for its former inhabitants. Something unusual, unburnt and unseen. You don't know whether it is the hardness in their gaze that has accumulated over the years that gave it away or the bitterness for everything in the tone of their voice everytime they speak.

Victor/ia Alvarez has only ever known one home— grief & rage. What are they without this rage that tethers them? No one and nothing to call their own apart from this grief. Victor/ia Alvarez holds onto their misery like a mother that cradles her dead child. They refuse to let her leave. It's theirs to own.

ROMANCING VICTOR/IA : They find your kindness revolting. It feels like nails prickling their insides, maggots feeding on their feeble skin. It makes their stomach churn, makes the hair at the back of their neck rise in alarm. Their chest feels too tight and by the lord, how it burns.

They despise it. Take it away. They don't want it. (They don't think they deserve it.)

Victor/ia Alvarez has been deprived of love so long that when it is finally being served to them in a sliver platter, they suddenly feel like they have forgotten the art of eating. Each bite overwhelms them to the bone and they can't stomach the taste of it.

Your name is like acid on their tongue. So terribly bitter. It's disgusting. Gut wrenching. Terrifying.

They don't know whether to swallow or spit it out.

What have you done?

PERSONALITY : They have an awful personality— that's what the tabloids say. While their methods may not always be appreciated, they at least get the job done. They are calm, reserved, composed. Their is little that can throw them off— Vic seems to have the solution for everything. Pulling strings is what they are good at. A control freak. They don't like letting go of the reigns. It makes them... antsy. Standoffish and closed off, they like to keep their circle small. Notorious in the industry for their... indulgences.

APPEARANCE : Albino. Pale complexion. Bright blue eyes. White hair, chopped just above their shoulders, almost always tied in a low ponytail with few strands of their hair framing their face. 5'7. Svelte frame. Wears cat eyes sunglasses. Signature look : a white shirt, underneath an emerald suit with a dark, oversized trench coat of a similar shade draped over their shoulders and matching high waisted pants. Wears a thick gold chain around their neck and multiple gold rings. Sometimes carries around a cane with its handle in the shape of a snake's head in gold because they think it looks 'classy'.
