Idk why so many people in this community have such a hard time with crediting these specifically but it is something I notice quite often and it ticks me off. You don't have an excuse, there are plenty of blogs that post original gifs you can easily credit (heartnosekid, cutiepieautistic, sprinkles-stims off the top of my head), this community agrees that stealing is bad for icons, moodboards, etc. and the same attention should be given to gifs too!!

Tickletober Day 9- Wake Up!

Zooble slept soundly in their bed, rolling over a bit.

It was nice and quiet. Wait, it was almost too quiet. Could today be an adventure free day? Could Zooble sleep in for once undis-

“ZOOBLE! RISE AND SHINE FOR A BRAND NEW ADVENTURE JUST FOR YOU!”

Well. F-$&#%.

“Yeah. No.”

Zooble tossed the covers over their head and turned their back to Caine, who almost visibly drooped.

“COME ON ZOOBLE! I MADE IT EXTRA MATURE FOR YOU!”

Without rolling over, Zooble raised their hand and Caines censor bar flashed over their middle finger.

“F-#%$ off Caine. I’m not in the mood.”

Caine blinked at the stubborn enby and floated lower.

“ZOOBLE GET UP!”

“No.”

“GET UP OR I’LL- I’LL…. I’LL TICKLE YOU!”

Caine threatened. The AI ringmaster was that desperate.

Zooble clearly didn’t take the threat seriously because they simply burrowed deeper under the covers as if trying to physically disappear from the insistent ringmaster.

Caine huffed and ripped the covers off of Zooble who immediately rolled over.

“Caine! What the f-$&#?! Give me my blanket!”

Caine tossed the blanket aside and hovered over Zooble, wagging a finger at her as if he was scolding a stubborn child.

“NOW ZOOBLE, I TRIED TO BE NICE, BUT I’M AFRAID MY PATIENCE HAS RUN OUT. YOU’RE THE ONE TO BLAME FOR THIS.”

Zooble squinted at the ringmaster.

“Blame for what- aaah! Hehey! Knock it off you b-$&#%!”

Caine dug his fingers into Zooble’s bean shaped middle as the poor enby squirmed and laughed through gritted teeth.

“I TOLD YOU THIS WOULD HAPPEN ZOOBLE. IF YOU GET UP AND JOIN YHE OTHERS DURING THE ADVENTURE I’LL STOP!”

Zooble tried to glare at Caine, but it was ineffective as they laughed.

When Caine moved up to tickle their armpits, Zooble screeched and snapped their arms down.

“Argh- g-god fine! Just stop it!”

Caine obliged, pulling away from Zooble.

“HUZZAH! I KNEW YOU’D COME AROUND!”

Zooble groaned as Caine blipped out in a puff of smoke and confetti.

It was going to be a long day.

With the boys flirting with you I feel like it’d go either one of two ways depending on his mood

One way- he’d get very protective like “she’s mine go away” but then as he thought abt it later on and throughout the rest of the day he’d get very insecure

Like “maybe she SHOULDN’T be with me- I’m too old for her, I get into too many shenanigans for her to be properly safe, she should be living A NORMAL HAPPIER LIFE”

And then maybe he would act a little distant and sad 

And when you’d eventually coax it out of him he’d be like “ignore me I’m just being stupid” but you’d be like “baby” (i feel like he would love that nickname btw) “I wouldn’t be with you if I didn’t love you” 

Then if he STILL isn’t assured you’d make a joke abt how immature and annoying you find boys who are actually your age (YES ‘ANON’ I’M MAKING THIS VERY PERSONAL TO YOU BE GRATEFUL) and then he’d be satisfied

(But ofc he’d still need a little babying so that night he’d be the small spoon and you’d cuddle the whole night)

The other way it could go he’d be like “you’re like ten please calm down my girl don’t like you” and he’d just laugh at them because they think they have a chance

Anyways he’d smell like seaspray and mint and sweat and woodsmoke but it’s a weirdly grounding, familiar scent

If he ever accidentally injured you with his hook OMG

He’d be so sorry and feel so bad

Would literally treat you like a queen until you can’t see the scratch anymore no matter how minor it was

He would literally worship you in general

I feel like he would call you his angel or sweetheart

He would need a lot of babying and coddling and nicknames he's very high- maintenance

And if you ever got injured by anyone else

Tickletober Day 15- “Are You Ticklish?”

The question caught Pomni off guard, considering who it came from.

“U-Uh what?”

Kinger blinked at the jester girl whom he’d pretty much adopted as his daughter in the circus.

“Was my question unclear? Sorry, let me repeat that.”

Kinger inhaled as if he was about to ask the question at the top of his lungs. Pomni was quick to stop him before the entire circus heard him.

“No! No, I heard you, Kinger. I just- well, it caught me a little off guard.”

Kinger exhaled the breath he’d been holding, no doubt to scream his question.

“Ah, I see. So?”

Pomni blinked.

“So, what?”

“Are you ticklish?”

Pomni was torn between answering truthfully or denying the fact the she was in fact, extremely ticklish.

Kinger seemed to pick up on her hesitation.

“It’s okay, you don’t have to tell me if it makes you uncomfortable, Pomni. I’m just curious, that’s all.”

Kinger laced his fingers together in front of him, patiently waiting to hear Pomni’s response.

Pomni was quiet for a bit longer. Kinger seemed genuinely curious. And it was rare for her to see the more lucid side of the chess piece character like this. What harm could telling him do?

“Eh, yeah, I’m pretty ticklish, but please don’t tell anyone! Especially Jax.”

Kinger blinked his bug like eyes at Pomni and didn’t respond immeasurably, causing the young jester girl to wonder if he had gone back into his less sane state again.

Just when Pomni was about to ask if Kinger was okay, he spoke.

“Queenie and I used to have tickle fights, y’know. Although I usually came out on the losing side.”

Pomni found herself leaning towards Kinger as she always did when he’d talk about his wife. He reminded her of an old grandpa who had dementia, but once and awhile, when it was just the two of them, jester and chess piece, he would have a lucid moment, often about his wife.

“Really? No offense, but I didn’t think you were ticklish, Kinger.”

Kinger chuckled fondly, shaking his head.

“No offense taken, you’re the only one besides my wife and probably Caine who knows. But boy, Queenie and I would have fun.”

Pomni watched as a wistful, melancholy expression crossed her friends face.

“You must miss her a lot.”

Kinger sighed.

“I miss her terribly. Every single day.”

Pomni hated how down Kinger looked, so she decided to do something bold (hah, she could be brave an assertive! Take that Jax.)

“Kinger…. Erm… would you, like to be tickled? By me?”

Kinger looked a bit surprised.

“Are you sure? You don’t have to.”

Pomni smiles. Normally she’d be on the receiving end of tickles, but right now she wanted to make her friend smile.

“I don’t mind if you don’t.”

Kinger thought for a moment or two before saying,

“Alright. What harm could a little tickling do? But I must warn you, I’m very ticklish.”

Pomni giggled and scooted closer as Kinger spoke.

“I’ll keep that in mind.”

She waited for Kinger to lift his hands bed she carefully poked his side. She hadn’t expected much of a reaction considering he had a very thick robe, but almost instantly Kinger jumped back with a laugh.

“S-Sorry.”

Pomni said, waiting for Kinger to give her the okay to continue.

“It’s alright. I’m just not used to it anymore.”

Kinger scooted back into place and nodded at Pomni.

“Go ahead, I’m ready this time.”

Pomni smiled at him and tickled him again.

This time, Kinger laughed and squirmed, but he didn’t pull away this time.

She kept this up for a few minutes, laughing along with Kinger. A real, genuine laugh echoed through both of them until they both collapsed into the pillow fort, gasping and chuckling.

“Hehey, Pomni?”

“Yes, Kinger?”

“Thank you. You made me feel like my old self again.”

Pomni smiled.

“No problem Kinger. I’m glad you had fun.”

“Yeah, and Pomni?”

“Hmm?”

“Where did you say you were ticklish?”
