I can barely begin to express how much the course of my life has been altered because of a 40 minute highlight video done by @jelloapocalypse and friends riffing over a 20 year old sky pirate game.

I made an off-handed comment after watching it together with two of my longtime friends, about how much I wish I had what Vyrsa had, and one of those friends STRAIGHT-UP TELLS ME that her and her wife have been crushing on me for a while.

The feeling was mutual, though I'd been of course hesitant to even hint at it.

Anyway now a few months later, we're a thruple, and we decided to honor the genesis of our relationship by cosplaying as the trio that made it a reality for my 30th birthday!

PinkCatNinja, me (CatComixzStudios), and ArtieStokes as Aika, Vyce Vyrsa, and Fina respectively, from SKIES OF ARCADIA!

And as a bonus, a comment I left on the video before my egg would crack completely (was still IDing as genderfluid at the time)

My favorite brand of ghost files is when you get this dynamic:

Ryan: trying to do legitimate ghost hunting, asking questions, hearing noises, using his tools.

Shane: entirely disengaged with the hunt, pointing out random shit like “there’s a lot of ladybugs here!” Or “I counted 37 dead flies on the ground in this room.”

I know Kiki is most often associated with Ogrepon and Pecharunt, but what about him finding Meloetta since it can be found in the Coastal Biome?

You know, narratively speaking, I see a really poetic, self-growth journey-esque oneshot here about Kieran finding the beat to his own drum (ba dum tss) by finding Meloetta and readjusting his focus from trying to essentially be all the accomplishments & qualities he sees in Juliana.

...and I also see a horrible parody version of him finding Meloetta and requesting nothing but onion edge lord emo music during his angsty phase. xDDDD

thinking about how zack was such a fighty angry kid at first in crisis core, and how he learned to bottle it all up because nobody took his feelings seriously.

i bet zack died on that cliff resentful and enraged and covering it up with a thin layer of heroic cheer, just like he always has.

he was so close. he was so tired. he tried to be a hero and it turned him into a monster instead, slaughtering hundreds and hundreds of infantrymen, all to protect just one. and it didn't even matter because they still won. shinra still fucking won.

zack lost his entire sense of self and identity to SOLDIER and shinra, and now they're taking his life too, right when he was this close. not just to physical freedom, but mental freedom too. and he copes with the indignation the same way he always has: he's so Nice about it.

and so he dies as a friendly nobody, instead of what he really was deep down: a scared, angry, exhausted kid.
