Angsty Sephiroth headcannons

-Severe insomniac; needs to take 3 sleeping pills a night just to nod off, and even then, he's a light sleeper, so the slightest sounds can wake him.

-Doesn't drink often, but when he does, he gets very drunk and emotional.

-Cries a lot in private, especially when reminiscing his past or flipping through his old photo album with all his pictures of his dead friends.

-He still celebrates Genesis and Angeal's birthdays, all by himself. He gets a cake and lights candles, and sings happy birthday to the wall. Then he eats the cake all alone and drinks beer until he passes out.

-Has frequent, intense night terrors that keep him up when his insomnia doesn't. More often than not, the two forces work together to torment him till morning.

-Uses a lot of makeup to hide his dark, puffy eyebags, and even then they're still sort of visible if you look closely.

-Feels tired and unmotivated 80% of the day; it takes almost all of his mental strength just to get out of bed.

-Braids his hair before bed because it gives him something to focus on so he doesn't have to listen to all his own disturbing thoughts.

-Insecure about himself, and everything about himself, from his personality to his looks.

-Severe abandonment issues--he fears that you will leave him because of all his mental baggage, but is too afraid to talk to you about it.

-Sometimes holds you too tight because he fears you'll dissappear and leave him all alone.

-If you ever get a nightmare, he will squeeze you to the point of almost breaking your ribs. He does this because he remembers when he was young and scared, that was all he ever wanted.

-Is very depressed, tries not to show it, but you can see it anyway. This normally happens after a long day or when he has too much to drink. He needs a hug and maybe a kiss or two. Give it to him.

Millie, help me. I need relationship advice and you're my girl. Honestly, from the love you write about in your fics, I have so much faith in you.

I started working in an office building maybe... 2 or 3 months ago? Over the first 2 months, I kept running into the building's operational manager. He will be referred to as HIM. It was always, "good morning," or "have a good weekend," and that's it. He's a pleasant man. Just a few weeks ago, my office invited HIM to have lunch with the staff for Valentine's day. I sat next to him and we got to talking. We exchanged names and chatted.

I've had the biggest crush on him ever since.

I keep seeing HIM everywhere. Literally everywhere. It's still "good morning, good afternoon," except now, I can't speak a word without falling to bits. We've chatted here and there again, mostly work, sometimes not, but he always waves to me through a glass door when he's on his way out at the end of the day and I am shattered. I work reception, so every time I see movement in the hallway, my eyes jerk to see if it's him and I've caught myself so many times and feel terribly silly.

He's somewhere in his forties, maybe fifties, and I'm 21 and I know it's a stupid crush but it kills me. Tell me thirsting over older celebs has gotten to my head. Do you have a similar experience? Please say yes. Much love, xoxoxo

Ok first of all I am 29 years old and single, my last relationship ended almost two years ago with me changing my mind about a five-year relationship three months before the wedding because he deserves someone more emotionally available and I am still not emotionally available enough for a relationship so don’t trust what I write about to be an accurate reflection of my mindset 😀

HOWEVER this isn’t relationship advice, this is crush advice and I can tell you that pursuing this man is a bad idea for several reasons:

Dating colleagues is a recipe for disaster

It’s totally normal for you to fancy an older man but if a man in his 40s/50s is interested in a 21 year old then there is something very wrong with him and you don’t want that kind of mess

He’s a manager so presumably he’s a superior to you and that is a power imbalance right there

Also is he married? If not, why is he not married at his age? sus

Like you said it’s a silly crush and it’s totally normal but it will pass! But don’t do something you’ll regret that will get you in trouble bc you’re worth more than that!!

“do you want me to go?” - sephy/maggie

Maggie wished the sight of Sephy, standing in her kitchen, barefoot and clad in only a too-small t-shirt wasn't enough to make her chest ache. Sephy was, quite literally, movie star gorgeous, even with the remnants of yesterday's make-up marring her skin and messy hair. She commanded the space in every room she walked into, Maggie's kitchen, Maggie's bedroom. It was too much.

Seeing her lying there this morning, tangled in Maggie's bedsheets had invoked an involuntary fight or flight response. She'd vacated the room to sit on her kitchen counter, sipping coffee and waiting for the sound of Sephy's footsteps.

"Morning, bitch." Maggie greeted her, their usual playfulness sounding short and stilted. She nodded quietly towards the cup of coffee sitting, steadily cooling that she'd made just for her friend.

When Sephy didn't move, Maggie simply swung her legs over the side of the kitchen island, opening her arms for the other woman to stand between them. The brunette slung her arms lazily around the other woman's neck, Sephy's hands fitting at her waist in a way that made her heart beat faster. Intimacy had always come easy between the two girls, but Maggie was starting to think it was a little too second nature to them now. The question from the other woman was blunt, to the point, and Maggie gently drew circles against the nape of her neck, unwilling to let her go.

"Yes... no. I don't know." she breathed, "I love it, here, with you. But it's confusing."

Her eyebrows knit together, a small frown touching her lips.

"I'm fucking confused, Seph."

Want your readers to totally fall for your characters? Show them at their weakest, most vulnerable moments.
