No need to powerscale Rukia against two characters who have no on-page fights, all you have to do is look at who takes decisive action in a desperate moment. That’s how a commanding officer acts.

The Seireitei Sexyman Tournament Round 1: The Second Half

We are going into the second half of the first round! But first, we’ll look at the results from last week

Hello there Sentaro Kotsubaki fans.

My theories on Kiyone and Sentarou's shikai:

Kiyone: Thunder & Lightning based. Deafens people when struck near them. Shaped like a vajra.

Sentarou's: Wind and Rain based. Giant fan. Blows wind or rain onto opponent based on which fan side is up.

I have some headcanon on Isane's shikai...

That it can actually slow down/quicken time around its area of effect.

This would be a great shikai to have if you are a healer as you could put fatally injured people in suspended state of animation.

My other headcanon is that she was using this on Kensei and Rose which is why they survived Gremmy.

Yuuno simply smirked a little. "If I may, why not stick with who you know for the position of Lieutenant?" she said as she slid over the file for Sentaro Kotsubaki. "Why not finally let Sentaro assume full responsibilities of the position? Especially now that Kiyone was transferred over to working directly under her sister. After all, he has been under Captain Ukitake for so long and you have worked with each other constantly. I assume he knows the inner workings of the division like the back of his hand." Yuuno continued.

Yuuno listened to Rukia's concern about selecting a lieutenant. That definitely was an issue ever since Kiyone Kotetsu was transfered to the 4th Division under her sister Captain Kotetsu following Captain Unohana's death. "Well, if it's any consolation, I would have gladly volunteered to serve as your Lieutenant." Yuuno boasted proudly. After all, who better to have on your Squad than somebody who was a Shihoin and already had experience as both a Captain and currently a co-Lieutenant? "If only you would have asked me first to swoop me away. Then you could have had me all to yourself." she dramatically feigned playfully, placing the back of her hand over her forehead like she were in a dramatic play. But then she returned to a more composed manner. "I have already... committed to Soifon to be her co-Lieutenant so unfortunately that's out of the question." she explained. How curious that she referred to the 2nd Division captain as just Soifon and not Captain Soifon. Very curious. "Can I make a suggestion, Rukia?"

Man, all it takes is for somebody to mention Byakuya and Rukia’s mood immediately plummets. I really hope he took a long, hard look at himself after the whole Sokyoku fiasco because he was a pretty lousy brother even before he became the most zealous advocate for his sister’s execution. Ichigo was able to beat some sense into him on that front, but we don’t know if anybody confronted him on the whole “make no attempt to connect with your sister, and instead ignore her to the point of depression” thing.

Seireitei Bulletin: Seireitei Sexyman Tournament Edition

The Seireitei Sexyman Tournament, hosted by the Women’s Soul Reaper Association, is moving on to the second part of round one.

The first half has ended, and spectacularly at that. We’re going into the second half with even more support for the tournament.

And once again, I wanted to get a comment from all of the people in the second part of round one.

Unfortunately, this issue was delayed due to problems with one of the competitors health, during which I was not able to see him for an interview.

So even though this issue is being published late, all (but one) of the responses were collected at the beginning of the round, not at the end, which is where we are now at.
