Okay so yes I am very happy that we got original designs, and they look so cool

But they’re still cowards for not giving us a story as to how they got like this

I know that for the 7th Anniversary, we got a story about how Urahara gave Ichigo and Uryu some of each other’s powers for a day. And we did eventually give us a story for 5th Anni Ichigo and Byakuya as well as 6th Anni Aizen in the CFYOW stories

So give us a story for Ichigo and Rukia! Even if it’s just “Hey we stumbled upon a magical macguffin and got super powerful forms.” Like please, give us something

I’m pretty sure Rukia is one of the Anniversary characters (or even the only one), but if they follow the pattern they did last year and make As Nodt the other character, I will fucking RIOT

I hated Gremmy being an Anni character (I kinda hated Kenpachi too but at least he was a relevant character through the whole series), but at least Gremmy has the benefit of having the strongest schrift. As Nodt is alright but he’s way too overhyped. Also we already got a new As Nodt in the last 6 months and we don’t need another.

I still think the 10th Anniversary characters should be Ichigo and Rukia, as the main character and the original deuteragonist

(I also think that they should bring back the original designs for the outfits, the TYBW ones aren’t special enough to be Anni characters)

Okay hear me out

Bleach x KPop Demon Hunters would go so hard, either as an AU or a crossover

For a KPDH!Bleach AU, the Karakura 4 are pop stars together as a quartet rather than a trio and Ichigo is the one hiding his demon patterns because his dad has taught him that all demons are bad and he must hide that part of himself (mirroring how Ichigo was taught to suppress his hollow side rather than work with it).

Uryu gets Mira’s storyline of family issues and loving his friends while seeming cold from the outside. Orihime gets Zoey’s storyline of being seen as too optimistic and cheerful but then finding her place where she is able to be herself. Chad gets his own storyline, idk what it would be though

I think the rival demon band would be like the Espada (prolly just like Starrk, Ulquiorra, Harribel, Grimmjow, Nel, Szayelaporro, and Nnoitra). And then Ichigo learns to accept his demon side by connecting emotionally with Nel and learning that not all demons are evil.

Or he meets with Grimmjow and learns that Grimmjow doesn’t actually give a shit what Aizen (Gwu-Ma) does, he just wants to be free, and will work with Ichigo to achieve it (only for Aizen to force him back into working with him).

And of course Ichigo, Uryu, Chad, and Orihime work together to accept themselves and defeat the demons and are in a polycule

For a Bleach!KPDH AU, Rumi is the one who becomes a Soul Reaper when Jinu gives her his powers. Mira and Zoey are her human friends who gain fullbringer powers and fight at her side. They go to the Soul Society to save Jinu from being executed, only for for Jinu to reveal he was evil and he and his boy band become the villains for the rest of the series.

Rumi starts to develop hollow powers, which scare her, so she hides them from Mira and Zoey. But of course they accept her anyway and she learns to accept her hollow powers and become even stronger.

Selene is the one who teaches them to use their powers, but is also the one who tells Rumi that she needs to hide her hollow powers.

For a KPDH x Bleach crossover, demons and hollows are the same thing. Huntr/x are confused about why demons still exist after they defeat Gwu-Ma. They do a world tour and go to Japan. While there, they try to kill more demons but see several high schoolers already killing them?

Turns out that after the Honmon destroyed Gwu-Ma, Aizen was able to take over the “demons” and was now using them to destroy the Soul Society. They team up because Huntr/x they both need to defeat the hollows/demons.

They end up defeating Aizen but learn that demons can’t completely stop entering the Human World because of the soul cycle. They also learn that there are good demons/hollows through their trip to Hueco Mundo/the Underworld. They learn that they should be helping these souls to be free/purified, and the Huntr/x go back to Korea with this new knowledge

Also Don Kanonji and Bobby team up in some kind of B-plot because that would be an amazing duo

I will never do anything with this so feel free to do whatever with it, I just had the thought and wanted to share it

Ichigo Kurosaki

Honestly...him becoming a translator is okay. It's actually pretty cool that his reasoning is to connect people.

Usually, English would be the main thing he translates (from what I understand), however, he does go on to learn other languages...such as Spanish and German

He's learning the latter two from Chad and Uryuu respectively

He also knows sign language, but mainly JSL

His God awful haircut gets fixed. Why does the main character's hair get cut short like that in the finale? Please, Oda, don't do that to Luffy.

Orihime Inoue

From the post mentioned above, I like the idea of her becoming a writer. She has one helluva an imagination.

Hell, she could also be a mangaka. She likes to draw too.

Her main genre is 'weird fiction' just because of how out of pocket she can be, not to mention that she's kinda inspired by all the crazy stuff that's happened in her life.

Imagine how confused people would be reading a book/manga that's like something out of HP Lovecraft or Junji Ito and go to a 'meet the author' event and it's this adorable ray of sunshine and flower petals.

Uryuu Ishida

He had the makings of becoming a fashion designer, why rob him of this, huh?

Also, wasn't he like...traumatized over his father basically dissecting his mother? I get that he probably...got over it(?) over the past 10 years???? ...I feel like we're overlooking this...or all the trauma the characters deal with, really.

Anyways, there has been occasions when women from the Gotei 13 want to become his model...its typically Rangiku. She loves his brand and even has magazines showcasing his designs.

Sometimes, Rangiku'll drag others with her to be his models, both women and men.

Uryuu still makes clothes for his friends on the side

I've seen fanart (it's paired with Jugram) of Uryuu with this really nice hairstyle. It's like...longer-ish than his 17yo hairstyle and maybe slightly wavy? ...Wait, that's another combo from his parents. wow...Ryuuken's hair does look a little wavy to me.

I love it though...and it vaguely reminds me of Yuga Aoyama lol

Either that or his hair has grown long enough to be a in a ponytail, though still wavy looking.

To keep up with the 'pediatrician' spirit though, Uryuu does occasionally visit patients at his father's hospital, especially the little kids.

He'd make them puppets and plushies, making him very popular, and knit with the elderly

I don't know about you guys, but Chad becoming a boxer...worries me a little

Maybe its because of my HC about him needing to be careful with using his strength like that due to his nature as a Fullbringer.

I think about him just being a vet in general, but I don't think it fits his character.

People are upset because Kubo said Uryu might not get married and honestly that seems perfectly reasonable to me for two reasons:

1) Being a Quincy is the most important thing to Uryu, and I doubt that he would chose to marry someone who doesn’t know/can’t understand that life

2) Kubo is too much of a coward to make any gay ships canon

With those two things in mind, there’s not a lot of people for him to marry.

The Quincies all hated him and maybe they’re more chill now, but they don’t really seem to like him very much. Riruka exists but they’ve never directly interacted and their indirect interactions were them as enemies. He still doesn’t like Soul Reapers. Arrancars would be a definite no for him. Orihime is already in a canonical relationship. Chizuru is a lesbian. Technically Tatsuki is an option but I don’t think they’ve ever directly interacted either, and that would just be a “pair the spares” situation.

So unless new characters get introduced, I can’t really see him getting married in canon based on everything that’s been established

I had a recent revelation in regard to this post I made about the relationship between Masaki and Ryuken.

While there is still no definitive answer to this, I just wanted to point out that Masaki refers to Izumi as oba-sama. (Not to be confused with obaa-san or obaa-sama, meaning ‘grandmother’)

Yes, it can mean ‘aunt’ as in the sister of your parent, it can also be a respectful way to address an older woman without familial ties.

Masaki was adopted into the Ishida solely for the purpose of keeping the bloodline pure. Also, I don’t recall Masaki ever referring to Ryuken as cousin or Soken as uncle (even then, oji-san has the similar ambiguity). She seems to only do this with Izumi.

Not to mention that Izumi seems to be the one running things in the family while Soken is doing God knows what. Even Ryuken refers to her as okaa-sama.

I’m honestly starting to think that Soken was married into the Ishida family. Could make sense as he defected from the Wandenreich.

I kinda wish that someone had addressed Kubo about this in that Q&A thing in ‘Klub Outside’ or ask a Japanese reader about their take on it, because it looks like only English readers (US citizen here; God help us all) are taking this bit of information at face value.

Homie, I don’t even ship Ichihime. I am in no way a part of the cult you think exists. I ship Ichiishi, the same ship as you, and I like it for the same reasons you do. I didn’t even know any of this was happening until I saw your posts. I just have empathy towards other people in the fandom. I know what it’s like to be treated rudely by other fans and I don’t want that for anyone else, Ichiishi fans and Ichihime fans alike

And I agree with you that people shouldn’t have told you to kill yourself! That’s bad behavior too! But responding by being hateful just makes the fandom more toxic, it’s better to just block and move on if you don’t like what they’re saying anyway.

I think you’re justified in being angry, but that you’re directing it towards the wrong people. The person telling you to kill yourself was wrong, but that’s just one person. Report them and don’t harass people who had nothing to do with it. This is not the war that you think it is.

My reply to your post was not mean to be aggressive, in fact I was trying to word it as to not start a fight. But it seems that unfortunately I failed in that regard, and it was likely that my attempt was doomed from the start.

Hi, this is your reminder to not be an asshole about ships

I’ve unfortunately seen a lot of people being harassed for their ships and so I just wanna say a few things.

1) If you see a ship post, don’t comment saying that you hate it and like another ship better

Whether you like the ship or not, that’s not an excuse to be rude to someone. Someone worked hard on that post and it brought them joy. So just ignore it and move on, or block them if it bothers you so much. Just stop making hate comments and reblogs. It doesn’t help your case in any way, commenting on someone’s post is not going to change anybody’s mind.

There’s a principle of Tumblr that is basically “make you own post.” Meaning that if you disagree with someone, instead of arguing with them and taking over their post to talk about something unrelated, go make your own post. If you see any post you don’t like, don’t be an asshole about it, just leave them alone and go do your own thing.

2) Don’t accuse people of making AI art without reason

I do admit that AI art is everywhere, but there are plenty of real creators out there that don’t use it, and some of them have art styles that can look similar to AI. So yes, look for AI, but if multiple people tell you that it’s not AI, then believe them, and if you still don’t believe them, just block them, don’t be rude about it. But don’t make baseless comments about it.

3) Don’t steal people’s art to make your post

One of the biggest rules of Tumblr is “reblog, don’t repost.” Reposting is when you put someone’s content (especially art) on your post under your name. Whereas when you reblog that art, the artist is still attached to it and gets all of the notes. So don’t fucking repost art. I’ve seen people repost art to try to prove that their ship is better. I’ve seen people repost art of a ship they don’t like to insult the art. Stop fucking doing that. It’s not yours and you shouldn’t steal it, regardless of what you’re using it for.

This has been my PSA based on some concerning things I’ve been seeing in some of the Bleach fandom tags.

But do keep in mind that this can happen in other fandoms as well and you shouldn’t be an asshole there either

Unfortunately, I don’t think he wears boots in the manga either.

In both his introduction to the Wandenreich and his fight with Jugram, these are the shoes he’s wearing, and they are just basic Quincy shoes and these same ones from the anime.

I think that you’re thinking of these shoes, which appear in the art for the BBS version of the character

It’s quite possible that he’s wearing these in the manga too, but his pants are always over them so we never see them.

Which is a shame, because I also really like these shoes.

The Six Hearts Project Progression #01

Ichigo and company have arrived back from the Soul Society and Ichigo resumed his duties, but without Rukia. When hunting down a Hollow, he crosses paths with a Shinigami he hasn't met before. Meanwhile, strange beings in white cloaks are roaming about, seemingly looking for something...

Kaleidoscope Threads

Ichigo, Rukia, Uryuu, Orihime, Chad, and Renji are put to the test in a series of trials conducted by a shadowy group.

The Coven's Convictions

The alternate take on the Bount Arc and the Bounts themselves. (Plus some inspiration from Zerbrechlichkeit by LadyGinoza) Summer break ends and everyone returns to school for the second semester and, at first, all seemed well. That is, until Uryu starts suffering from an undetermined condition. And to make matters worse, a new threat comes to town, their eyes on the ailing Quincy. Are they affiliated with Aizen?
