Hello. Would you, please, write smth about Hange and Levi's eventual reunion in the afterlife?
Hi Anon! Of course; I’ve wanted to write Levihan reuniting in afterlife for quite some time now, so thank you for giving me the opportunity!! 🤭 Here it is!
Title: Our Eternity; Rating: T; Word Count: 1137
With one final breath, Levi's eyes fluttered shut, leaving this world behind. For a moment, there was nothing - only darkness and an unbearable quietness enveloping him.
But then, something changed, and the weight suddenly disappeared. A warmth that blossomed within him took over, spreading from his heart over his entire body. His eyes remained shut, but he knew that he was in another place - a world untouched by the scars of his past, where only peace reigned.
He took a deep breath, feeling life rush back into him - though not in the same way as before. It felt different, lighter somehow, as if being alive carried a new meaning in this place. Underneath his body, he could feel the crisp grass touching his arms and neck, while a warm breeze brushed his face and tickled his bare feet.
Slowly, he opened his eyes and was immediately blinded by dazzlingly bright light, which was overwhelming at first. But he continued to breathe in the sweet air, listening to the rustling of the leaves around him and gradually, the light softened into a warm, golden hue, revealing the canopy of a tree.
Levi allowed himself to linger in that peace for a moment longer, savouring the tranquillity. Suddenly, a rustling reached his ears, which definitely didn't come from the leaves. Propping himself on his elbows, he sat up slightly - and instantly froze in place, his breath catching in his throat.
He blinked a few times, certain that his eyes were playing tricks on him. But the sight in front of him remained - a familiar face he hadn't seen in what felt like a lifetime.
Hange was sitting a little distance away from him, crossed-legged in the grass, looking down at her hands as she fiddled with a dandelion. A soft light surrounded her, casting a gentle glow on the serene moment before his eyes. She seemed to sense his gaze and looked up, and when their eyes finally met, time seemed to stand still.
A soft smile appeared on her lips, and she dropped the dandelion. “Look who’s finally here. I've been waiting for you.” She unfolded her legs and knelt down next to him, her knees almost brushing his elbow.
“Hange?” he gasped, her name a sweet sound to his ears. He quickly shifted into a sitting position, afraid to break eye contact for fear she might disappear.
She chuckled and cocked her head. “Yeah, it’s me. Time works differently here, that's why I don't look all wrinkled and worn out.”
Levi allowed himself a moment to take in her face. She looked young and full of life. Her skin was smooth and unscarred, her hair open and falling over her shoulders in gentle waves, and she was looking at him with a pair of chestnut brown eyes. He raised his hand to his right cheek and ran his fingertips over it - there were no scars.
“You're right; injuries and imperfections don’t exist up here. No pain, no illness. That’s why I’m not wearing any glasses,” she explained with a grin. She slowly lifted her hand to his face, pausing over his right eye before finally running her fingers over the spot where she had once stitched him up. It was only with the feeling of her skin against his that he truly understood she was actually there, and that after so many years apart, they were finally reunited.
In that moment, it didn't matter to him that his feelings were probably written all over his face. He might make a fool of himself, but he didn’t care. The only thing that mattered was that she was there, that he was there, and that they were given a second chance. Together. “I missed you so much,” he whispered, his voice trembling with emotion.
“I missed you too.” Her hand gently caressed his face - a simple touch, but it was enough to set his heart on fire. A single tear rolled down his cheek, then another, and she wiped them away with the back of her fingers.
He gave in to the overwhelming urge and leaned forward, pressing his forehead against her shoulder. Her hands moved reassuringly over his back, and then, finally, she pulled him into a warm embrace. His arms instinctively wrapped around her waist as he returned the gesture, drawing her as close as possible.
There was one thing, though, that he still needed to do. He had already spent half his life regretting not having dared to take the first step. But now he was given a second chance, and he was determined to make it right. Carefully, he pulled back just enough to look her straight in the eyes, their foreheads still pressed together. Shaky fingers reached for her cheek, and he gently brushed a lock of her hair back behind her ear.
Hange seemed to sense what he had in mind, and her eyes widened slightly, but she didn’t pull back. Her eyes flickered from his lips up to his eyes again, and anticipation coiled in his stomach.
Levi wanted to say something, to tell her how he felt, but the words caught in his throat. He had never been good with words, and it seemed that even in a place like this he couldn’t find the right ones to express everything he wanted to say. “Hange, I..."
“I know. Me too,” she whispered softly, not even letting him struggle to find the right words. He let out a huff of air, and the corners of his lips turned up just a little.
His heart was pounding very fast when he finally reached for her head, burying his fingers deep in her hair, but there was no turning back now. He leaned in, closing the small gap between them, and gently pressed his lips to hers.
The warmth that rushed through his body at that touch was overwhelming, but it also felt incredibly good. Everything about the kiss felt right - how her soft lips moved against his as she returned the kiss, how her hands rested on his chest, one directly over his pounding heart, and how her fingers were buried in his hair as she deepened the kiss, gently scratching the back of his neck. Kissing her was both exhilarating and thrilling, and in that moment, he had never felt so profoundly loved.
What he had intended to be just one kiss turned into several, and when they finally pulled away, both were breathing heavily, their cheeks flushed but smiles wide.
“I should’ve done this sooner,” he murmured, gently tracing her jawline with his thumb.
“Oh, definitely,” Hange chuckled, playfully nudging his nose with hers. “But I don’t care. Now we have an eternity to make up for everything.” With those words, she leaned in again and drew him into another kiss.

Months ago I decided to write a whole story with a few drabbles requested for a writing challenge. It's a Levihan slow burn, friends to lovers. So far I have 5 random (short) chapters written (2 are already posted on AO3) but I feel like the fic could be longer. So...
I'm posting this today because I need your help: I'm opening requests for a few days so you can send me prompts or headcanons or songs that I could use as inspo for the next chapters of INLIGS until my ask box is closed again. Please keep in mind Levi & Hange are just friends for the moment. Some scenes can take place during their high school or college years as well.
Read on AO3
Series: It's not like I've got something grand to say to you
Levihan - Slow burn - Friends to lovers - Other pairings: Rivetra, Zekehan & Erumike
Chapter one: Dumbstruck
Rating M - Wordcount: 1k - Levi, Hange, Erwin, Miche
One summer morning, Hange wakes up in a daze with no memory of the previous night
Chapter two: Sunburst
Rating T - Wordcount: 2.2k - Levi, Hange, Erwin, Miche, Zeke, Nanaba (mention: Petra, Nifa, Moblit)
Back in their hometown after years abroad, Hange reunites with old friends for their birthday party
Thanks for your help!

The Momentum Principle (read on ao3)
Tumblr media
Words: 2566 Fandom: Shingeki no Kyojin | Attack on Titan Rating: General Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Levi Ackerman & Hange Zoë, Levi Ackerman/Hange Zoë, Levi Ackerman & Nanaba & Erwin Smith & Mike Zacharias & Hange Zoë Characters: Hange Zoë, Levi Ackerman, Erwin Smith, Mike Zacharias, Nanaba (Shingeki no Kyojin) Additional Tags: Alternate Universe - Modern Setting, Alternate Universe - College/University, Best Friends, Unrequited Crush, Canon Non-Binary Character, They/Them Pronouns for Hange Zoë, SNK Veterans - Freeform, and they were ROOMMATES, (oh my god they were roommates), no beta we die like that vine ref SIKE IT'LL NEVER DIE, pretentious titling because that's how i roll
Summary: Studies show that staying awake for over twenty-four hours has similar effects on the human brain as having a bloodstream concentration of alcohol way over legal limits. Biology major Hange Zoë is aware of that fact. Sadly, they’re also aware that there are finals to pass, and not enough hours in a day to study for them.
Tumblr media
Hange frowned at the page before their eyes and clicked the table lamp off and back on, ignoring the annoyed stares the repeated and ineffective gesture got them from the students around –served them all right anyway, they mused, when they’d all been regularly stealing Hange glances they didn’t even bother to try and make discreet all morning. But something other than being ogled at like a circus freak was making it hard to decipher the words in front of them, though they couldn’t put their finger on what exactly. The world around them had been seeming especially bleak lately and even more so today, which wasn’t unusual during the intense studying marathons they famously put themself through with finals drawing near, but they couldn’t recall a time where it had actually impacted their already damaged eyesight; and the persistent, pulsing ache tracing along their temples sure wasn’t helping.
The most rational part of their brain offered stress and weariness as culprits, and Hange had to admit they couldn’t easily dismiss either of those. The cramming schedule they’d been imposing on themself may have gotten a little out of hand in the last couple of weeks, so much so Hange couldn’t even remember the last time they’d set foot in the living room to share homemade dinners or play board games with their four roommates like they usually would during cold winter evenings. They hadn’t even partook in early morning idle chitchat or occasional evening drinks on their way home from the campus library, not when they’d been consistently arriving right on opening time –they’d been pulling all nighters more often than not, anyway, and felt too restless to stay home and wait for the others to get ready– and had become the last student to leave it at night.
Hange closed their eyes for a minute as they let their head fall forward, rolling their neck and shoulders and relishing in the satisfying crack their muscles and tendons sighed out at the stretch. If only their brain could gain knowledge through osmosis via that simple contact between their forehead and over-highlighted textbook; if information were to be solutes, then, considering how little they’d efficiently memorized lately, it would flow right inside their lowly concentrated head without a doubt. They smiled at that absurd reflection, giddy with the realization that hey, they’d apparently managed to remember some things from those hellish Introduction to Fluid Mechanics lectures.
That unexpected sense of comfort was short lived, however, when they were hit with a wave of the increasingly familiar nausea their self inflicted sleep deprivation never failed to bring. Hange opened their eyes to fight the dizziness and took deep breathes in and out, silently counting up the right inhale to exhale ratio –simultaneously urging their body to hold up for a little while longer.
Two weeks, they pleaded. Just two more weeks and I can take a break.
Seven long sleepless days and nights of tensed cramming, followed by a week of nerve-wracking and hopefully mostly accurate square ticking in reply to more often than not purposefully confusingly phrased questions, and then they’d be free to hang out with their friends and be a, well, not exactly normal, but close to normal young adult again.
But the thought saddened more than it motivated them, and they had to consciously stop themself from looking around to see if they could spot any of the three blondes they’d come to think of as family. Erwin, Nanaba and Mike all had similar exams to take soon and the spacious library had filled in by whatever time it was now, so they would no doubt be within these four walls. Sundays usually involved morning revising, followed by strictlynon-academic plans everyone would have previously agreed onfor their common weekly afternoon off.
Hange winced at the pang of loneliness they felt when they realized they actually had no idea what their closest friends would be up to later. It only got worse when they remembered that Levi, who they’d been trying not to focus any thoughts on as those were proving more and more distracting these past few months, hadn’t tried to coax them into coming along this weekend like he’d done since they’d started studying more intensely. Hange had noticed Erwin’s surprised glances and Mike and Nanaba’s barely disguised teasing laughs when he’d started doing it, and they couldn’t really blame any of them –after all, that initiative from Levi had been a drastic switch from their previously established social roles.
Lost in memories of Levi’s techniques to get them to go out, which had mostly consisted of an association of almost threats and intense glaring until they would caved –which they hadn’t, amazingly– it took them a minute to notice the hand upon their right shoulder.
“Get up,” a familiar voice whispered up close, startling them.
Shit. Think of the devil.
Levi had also been pestering them about taking an actual break, on top of the Sunday festivities they’d been avoiding, but up until now their shared roommates had acted as enough of a buffer that Hange had been able to pretend they hadn’t noticed his nagging messages in the groupchat or pointed stares near the laundry machine.
“I’m fine right here,” they said cheerfully, pretending to focus on their textbook again and turning the page they’d been staring for a while without managing to actually read a word of it.
They weren’t sure they could get up, really, not without betraying their exhausted state to their closest friend and having to admit just how shitty they’d been at taking care of themself lately.
They swallowed back a shocked yelp as hands seized them up and pulled them to their feet anyway, and they caught themself on the table at the last moment to prevent the inevitable fall that would await them if they really were to put all their weight on their knees right now.
“What are you doing?” they asked through gritted teeth, unable to glare back at him as the head rush made dark spots dance in front of their eyes. “Let me go, I need to study.”
Levi wordlessly –and annoyingly easily– tore them away from their spot, half carrying them until they were both standing in front of one of the nearby arch windows. Hange muffled their protesting squeals out of some remnant of respect for the nosy judgmental students around, even though they knew Levi’s powerful glaring would probably prevent any of them from protesting at the noise of their struggling in the otherwise religiously quiet space.
And then they looked up and caught sight of their reflection.
And shamefully realized they could have given their curious peers the benefit of the doubt and hypothesized there might have been a valid reason behind all the curious looks they’d been getting all morning.
Hange was wearing their long sleeved purple octopus pajama top, the buttons ridiculously mismatched, with unmatched green cat-patterned pajamas bottoms –that they realized with a quiet gasp were probably Levi’s and not theirs, now that they were noticing the pants ended well above their ankles. There wasn’t one but two hair ties failing to hold their greasy matted hair up and away from their face, and their goggle-shaped sunglasses were hanging crooked on their nose with the rubber band twisted on both their temples –which finally explained part of their lingering headache, and why it was so challenging to read.
“What you need is to go home, Four Eyes.”
Tears sprung to their eyes before they could stop them, and for a minute they only stared at their shiny mirror image in quiet puzzlement. These weren’t tears of shame even if, as used as they were to being unconventional and to other people’s reaction to their self expression, this accidental pajama-in-public incident was definitely an all time new low for them. Exhaustion could have played a role, and the dark circles under their eyes as well as their paler than ever complexion easily spelled it out for them.
But mostly, Hange felt guilty. Levi had tried to mask it, but his voice had wavered over his own nickname for them, like he felt pained at seeing them in this state, and he couldn’t quite meet their eyes when that was his main tool to get anyone to comply to his requests.
“I don’t think I can,” they replied honestly.
His now openly worried gaze finally met theirs in the glass in front of them and he frowned, opening his mouth to object.
But Hange shook their head slowly in defeat.
They weren’t arguing with him, they were simply stating a truth.
They knew they must have taken the bus to get here, but they honestly couldn’t remember any part of the journey –hell, they couldn’t even remember putting shoes on, although they were glad they’d thought of that at least. They didn’t think they had a key to the apartment on them, as they usually resided in the deep pocket of the wool coat they’d forgotten to put on even before going out in this freezing winter weather. And practical issues asides, they didn’t actually trust themself to actually make it home in one piece right now, not even in the middle of a bright busy morning in the city and to their place that really wasn’t that far off campus.
Levi narrowed his eyes at them before nodding once, sharp.
“Wait outside. I’ll meet you in five.”
But Hange stood there, equally confused and chagrined at his statement. Was he going to go home with them? No, that wouldn’t do.
Levi had his own finals to study for, Hange couldn’t impose on him like that because they’d been stupid enough to push themself past their limit. They would simply have to endure a couple more hours of trying not to pass out at their seat until noon came around and all of their roommates went home anyway, to tag along without disrupting anyone’s schedule in the process.
Levi’s hands squeezed at their shoulders firmly, and his stare hardened in the window as if he could hear them reaching that conclusion.
Then he let go but didn’t move too far, seemingly unsure if Hange could actually stand by themself.
They rolled their eyes fondly, and –precociously– turned around, sporting what they hoped looked like a gentle smile and not a maniac grin –Levi’s expression remained stubbornly set, so they couldn’t tell either way– before moving carefully towards the door. They tried their hardest not to stumble on the way, and coughed to mask their giggling when they failed and almost tripped on their own feet.
Levi met them at the back exit of the building with their backpack and his own stuff shortly, and Hange didn’t bother trying to hide that they’d nearly fallen asleep on the stairs in the few minutes they’d been apart.
He frowned as they yawned without putting their hands to their mouth, but uncharacteristically didn’t comment on it as he grabbed their elbow to direct them towards an unknown car a few feet away.
They dug their heels in the sidewalk when they realized he’d ordered a paying ride for them.
“Wait, Levi, there’s no need for that. The bus–
“Won’t be here for another twenty minutes,” he interrupted. “You’re not passing out in the streets again, not under my watch.”
They recognized his clipped tone as the one that didn’t suffer any kind of discussion, even as he mentioned that party a month ago. Hange sighed inwardly, but followed his steps –they were way too tired to fight him anymore.
“What, like you’d get worried?” they still teased –they were exhausted, not dead. No way in hell would they miss an occasion to needle their favorite neat freak.
Levi snorted, and had Hange been less asleep on their feet, they’d have felt proud that they’d managed to get that sound out of him.
“I’d worry about my back, for one. I don’t want to know what carrying your unconscious ass home twice would do to it.”
“Hey, not fair!” They whined in protest, missing their target completely when they tried to playfully slap his arm. “I was at least ten pounds heavier then! And besides, Mike did most of the carrying, didn’t he?”
Hange couldn’t remember much from that night, but the rumor –in the form of Erwin and Nanaba’s recollection of the evening as they’d told it to them the following day, anyway– had Levi so worried about them passing out drunk he’d been too restlessly anxious to carry them himself, and had instead covered them in all of their friends’ coats, shoving their unconscious body in Mike’s strong arms, and then proceeding to walk beside him to closely monitor their breathing and that they wouldn’t choke on their own tongue or surprise vomit.
Hange only recalled waking up propped against multiple pillows with a pounding head and a grumpy –well, grumpier than usual– and sleep-deprived Levi who had shoved a glass of water in their shaky hand and scolded them about their alcohol consumption for the next half hour or so. It had then taken them drinking and keeping down a whole liter of diverse hydrating fluids before he’d finally left them alone to go and nurse his own hangover, and it was only after he’d left that Hange had noticed the newfound tidiness of their room and how the purple fatboy that would normally lay forgotten in a corner of the room –and under a pile of questioningly clean clothes and textbooks– had been pushed right next to their bed with a possibly Levi-shaped indentation in it.
Levi didn’t answer their rhetorical question, instead stopping in his tracks and giving them a clinical once over.
“What?” they prompted, barely resisting the urge to cross their arms to hide themself from his examination.
“Nothing,” he replied quickly, averting his eyes and opening the car door for them.
He muttered something under his breath still, and Hange’s ears caught a few words that sounded suspiciously like end up disappearing if you keep this up.
He greeted the driver and confirmed his identity as Hange plopped down with a relieved groan, and didn’t miss the concerned look Levi shot them as he sat next to them. His hand slid down from where it was still gripping their elbow to rest gently on their forearm as the car started, and they could swear he gave it a small, awkward but infinitely soft couple of comforting pats.
Hange boldly took advantage of this atypically lengthy physical contact, and moved so they could slide their hands together almost nonchalantly –almost, because they nearly faltered when Levi’s neck snapped to stare at their fingers in awe.
Hange smiled as naturally as they could to try and ease the shock from his features.
“I’ll pay you back for the ride,” they promised, squeezing his hand once.
They let him go after that. It wouldn’t do for their most introverted friend who was making sure they were getting safely home to get a brain aneurysm from their unexpected and possibly unwanted touches, after all.
“Tch. You better,” he grunted, moving his hand back to his lap immediately.
They couldn’t help but smile again when they took note that his tone wasn’t nearly as biting as they knew it could be.

Terra Darling ✨
For the smut prompts, I'd like to request 2: "Open your mouth for me" for Levihan 👀
Love you so much ❤️
Smut Scribbles 2: “Open your mouth for me.”
Sweet Torture (NSFW) Characters: Levi x Hange Word Count: 406 words Levi’s head writhed against the bedclothes, dark dishevelled hair sticking to his shining face. Hange lingered over his stomach, their cool breath fanning a trail of goosebumps across Levi’s bare skin. Loose strands of their hair tickled where they touched him. A shiver ran through him as Hange planted a kiss just below his navel. The hands which had been gripping their forearms weakened. The feigned murmur of protest died in Levi’s throat. Feebly, his arms fell to his sides as Hange kissed lower, lower. They stalled, teasing, lips brushing his abdomen. Gentle. Soft as silk on skin. Levi stifled a tremor of breath as his muscles clenched. Still, Hange continued their path of kisses, their mouth just above where Levi wanted them to be.
“Hange-”
They drew lower still. Lower, until their fingers wrapped themselves around his cock. Here the skin was at its most delicate, pulled taut over straining flesh. Hange pressed a kiss against him and Levi’s abdomen flexed again. Whilst their head remained bowed, Hange’s eyes moved to his face. They gazed at him; hooded, sultry, penetrating. The look of one who knew they had a man at their mercy.
They flicked their tongue across the tip.
“Fuck-” The syllable caught in Levi’s throat. A thrill surged through his body so intense it left his nerves singing. Levi’s mouth dropped open in silent anguish, his face flooded with colour.
Slowly, tantalisingly, Hange ran their tongue from the base of his cock to the very tip. Levi’s breath left him in a low hiss. He screwed up his eyes. Beads of sweat clung to his forehead.
Their hand tightened upon him, pulling back the skin in measured strokes. Hange’s tongue swirled against the tip again. Their mouth, their lips, their breath. Levi uttered a shaking gasp. He was desperate, undone. They would ruin him like this. His fists clenched at the bedcovers fit to tear them apart. He wanted - needed - more. Levi longed for friction; for the pressure of their lips closed around him. He wanted nothing more than to fuck that beautiful mouth.
“H-hange…” he stammered.
Hange stopped again, a knowing smile creeping across their face. Levi hated the plea in his voice. As the words left him, they were little more than a faint moan.
“…open your mouth.”
Satisfied that they had tortured him enough, Hange’s hand slid down his length. They brought him to their parted lips, only too willing to oblige. … HAPPY BIRTHDAY VAL! 💚💚💚 Hope you enjoyed your present 😘 Go on, send me not so SFW Ask. You know you want tooo~ 👉 Smut Scribbles

Make that Money (Watch it Burn) isn't normal... I have never felt so strange reading a fanfiction. It is sexy, beautiful, provocative. I was damn blushing, writer! The sex scenes taste like heaven and hell, particular paradise, something that everybody would desire. Truly desire.
I would love to read more.
Wah, someone is still reading that (spicy, nsfw) Levihan fic of mine????
And since you're too kind, Anon, I will grant you your request! Here's an excerpt of that pending part 2 of Make that Money (Watch It Burn):
Tumblr media
One lewd photo of her is enough, oh yes. Levi doesn’t realize what actually constitutes a lewd photo. (Full nudes? Tease pics? Orgasmic face? He was playing innocent the last time Hange asked him this.) All he knows, and bless his naive heart and not-so-virgin soul, is that it’s definitely enough to make shivers run down his spine, however it may turn out to be.
They were talking about interest rates for their potential investment—a pharmaceutical deal, what a surprise—when his phone beeped with a message from Hange. Levi had to bite his tongue and restrain his hand to the side of the table. Damn, he’ll probably go to hell for his imagination’s lack of restraint. In the picture, she’s yanking the hem of her shirt low enough for him to see the hills of her breasts, her brown hair cascading down her shoulders, a part of her skin already peeking out from the lopsided shirt. Her mouth is wide open, lips stained red for sure it was going to be imprinted in his mind. Past her oversized tee, her leg is bent at an angle in which he can see her thick thighs and bare legs and—god forbid—she’s not wearing any underwear.
A cough from Furlan and Levi immediately hides his phone, hoping no one else has seen it. The other executives are looking at him, expecting him to contribute something valuable to the discussion. He clears his throat and clasps his fingers together on the table and goes, “So, I think we’re closing a deal real soon.”
He goes to her place later that night.
“What?” Hange giggles once she pulls him into her unit. Her entire place resembles a college student’s apartment, textbooks and wads of paper on every surface of her desk, but Levi cannot be too bothered about their surroundings.
“You can’t just send me those photos out of nowhere.”
“Oh, did that turn you on?” Hange lets out a laugh when he rolls his eyes. For some reason, she finds the gesture cute. “I got you something, though.”
With his curiosity piqued, she hands him a small black box, sleek with a silver ribbon on top. He opens it and takes the gift from the intricate wrapping. It's a silk necktie, fancy red and black stripes alternating on the fabric. Hange may be in graduate school, but this one probably goes beyond her usual expenses.
Levi does an internal groan. Ties are a corporate leash, a reminder that bankers have sold their souls to the corporate world.
"I can't wear this."
"Why not? You can always make a fashion statement once in a while."
"Zackley's gonna kill me if I wear anything more expensive than his watch."
"Ah, what a shame." Hange goes over to Levi's side and sits on his lap. His hand accidentally slides up her thigh and confirms his assumptions. (Yup, no underwear.)
Hange hums while playing with the strands of his dark hair, mastering the art of seduction, his expensive gift hanging by her arm. "Still, we have to make use of this one way or another."
“What do you have in mind?”
Without warning, she puts the tie on him, fingers lazily pushing the knot further up his neck. He doesn’t know how to react once Hange kisses him, her firm hands roaming around his chest. Levi catches the idea and knows what to do. He gets lost in Hange’s kisses, and the next thing he knows he’s already naked in her sheets. Well, almost.
"Keep it on," Hange tells him, her toe prodding his chest.
"What?"
"The tie. I like it."
He does keep it on. From the mirror on the corner, he’s aware he looks silly, something in between a stripper or a macho dancer from Magic Mike, and a clown. Once his pants are discarded, he climbs the bed and Hange tugs him by the fabric around his neck like she owns him.
"Stay close to me," Hange whispers to him, wrapping the loose end around her hand.
There's not much he can deny her this time around. The heel of her palms are pushing him down by the shoulders, and Levi thinks this is something that really turns him on, because now, he’s fully erect, cock throbbing so hard he just wants to be inside her right now, right this moment.
"Shit, Hange, I'm—"
"Direct me,” she murmurs against his mouth.
He stops. "How?"
"However you want it. I'm all yours."
Levi takes her hand and wraps her fingers around his length. He closes his eyes when Hange grips it tighter and starts stroking him without so much of a guidance from him.
"Do you like it when I touch you like this?" Her eyes are gleaming under the moonlight from her window and Levi knows this will be the death of him.
"Yeah, I—"
"What if I go faster?"
"Shit, yeah,” Levi hisses. “Fuck."
Hange kisses him again like there's no tomorrow. She nibbles his lower lip and inserts her tongue into his mouth, and Levi cannot think of anything else for tonight except for the warmth of her touch.

First, sorry for my post with weak English, I'm using Google Translate.
Some fanfic requests
In my last post I posted a fanart of Hange asking/providing an idea for a fanfic and/or oneshot and there were many other wonderful fanarts that I would also like to become fanfics. So Levihan authors, if you're reading this, please create fanfics of this wonderful fanart. (and send me the links)
Tumblr media
ok, it's not fanart, it's an anime scene. But I feel like the fandom doesn't talk enough about this moment. Now, imagine if Levi knew about Hannes' harshness or if it was Levi instead of Moblit or if Levi was with him. I NEED TO KNOW HOW LEVI WOULD REACT AUTHORS WRITE ABOUT THIS!!!!!
Tumblr media
🎨: I could not identify the author. Sorry. If anyone knows, let me know in the comments so I can give proper credit.
I love this fanart. So cozy but with the titan in the background you feel a chill creep up your spine. It would be an interest context of the Levihan fanfic type that you suffer in. (I feel quite tense with the titan in the background)
Tumblr media
🎨: @LilyrRZ
Levi's look as "don't tease me" and Erwin's look as "but it's so fun". Hange breaking into the cafeteria anxious and chatty with her experiments/notes, excited to show Erwin and Levi is nagging/jealous of their closeness. Mike concentrated on his bread as usual and thinking “there they go again”
X
Authors Levihan, let your imagination run wild and turn these fanarts/moments into fanfics, please.

Here’s what some people wanted to say to you:
As you probably remember, I’ve requested a lot of prompts for you and I loved every single one of them even before having my own tumblr blog. Your works are what brought me back to the fanfiction world of levihan, and because of you and your beautiful writings I started making my own fanfics, and I’m very proud of that and more than thankful to you for your amazing works. Be proud of what you’re doing and I really thank you for everything. I definitely don’t regret the showers I skipped just to read one of your fanfics lol. - agoldenheartedsnkfan
Fanmoose12 has so much range when it comes to writing that she was actually the one who got me into reading so many different other genres for fics and I've been reading for a long long time. - Anonymous
Fanmoose12 is gem and her blog gives me so much happiness on my worst days. The fluff quality is that of sheep ready to be sheared lmao. but really, i just wanted to say thanks because i had a really stressful few months and i found myself reading a fic of hers every night and it really just helped me unwind in the best way. i hope you keep writing, fanmoose12! you're amazing! - Anonymous

Heyyy i saw you take requests. Just dropping by
How about Levi 'loser in love' Ackerman is finally dating Hange Zoe and he just goes crazy everytime Hange does something for him. Let's say Furlan and Isabel never died, both of them including Erwin and Mike point out that he is dating her but he's pretending like a teen in love for the first time.
Hi anon! This was such a fun request, thank you so much - I really, really hope it’s what you had in mind, and that you’re happy with how it turned out 🤭
Rating: T; Word Count: 1859 Title: It’s Alright To Be In Love
“Bro, you're head over heels!” Isabel nudged him with her shoulder as Levi, once again, couldn’t quite manage to peel his eyes off Hange who had just walked past them. It was definitely getting out of hand, the number of times he caught himself staring at her. But he couldn’t help it; somehow, she always ended up at the centre of his attention.
“I am not whatever shit you just said,” Levi retorted and scowled, looking down at his plate with a sullen expression.
“Oh, you were definitely staring when she handed you your fork!” Furlan chimed in and laughed out loud as Levi punished him with a cold glare.
“Why don't you two mind your own damn business instead of sticking your noses into things that don’t concern you?” Levi practically impaled the vegetables onto his fork with a rough jab, desperately trying to hide his embarrassment.
“Aww, our Levi’s got a crush.” Isabel crowed, a big smile on her lips. “That’s so cute!”
“And he’s being so awkward about it; it’s so funny to watch.” Furlan added with a grin, playfully elbowing his shorter friend.
Levi endured his friends’ teasing for exactly one more minute before grabbing his plate and practically storming out of the dining hall. It annoyed him that they seemed to know he had feelings for Hange. He had been convinced that he hadn’t given anything away, but apparently, he hadn’t been as subtle as he had thought.
It had all happened so quickly and unexpectedly - in the beginning, he had barely been able to stand her. But somehow, she had managed to sneak into his heart, and what started as friendly camaraderie morphed into friendship, and eventually turned into a full-blown crush. It took him almost a year, though, to come to notice that she might feel the same way, and even then he didn't dare make the first step. For not even in his wildest dreams could he believe that she would actually like someone like him.
But it was true, and after overcoming a few hurdles, Hange made the first step and they finally shared their first kiss. It was better than Levi could have ever imagined, and he started to enjoy this newfound sense of intimacy he shared with her. The only downside, however, was that it made him act like a complete idiot.
If he had been obvious before, he was now downright transparent when it came to his feelings towards her. Whenever she was around, his eyes immediately were on her, and he forgot everything and everyone else. When she smiled at him, his heart raced. If she accidentally brushed his arm, his hands became sweaty. And when she merely said his name, he began to stutter. It was terribly infuriating, and he knew he was making a fool of himself. He did his best to remain in control, to gain the upper hand of his emotions - but it seemed that he was helplessly at their mercy.
“This is almost bordering on ridiculous,” Mike said one afternoon, when they were all training together in front of the barracks and Levi had just made an idiot of himself again. “Who would have thought it would be a relationship that brings humanity’s strongest soldier to his knees?”
“Come on, leave him alone. He’s just in love, and relationships can be scary, especially at the beginning,” Nanaba said, defending Levi and giving him a compassionate pat on the back.
“I’m not in love!” Levi growled, turning away from the two and busily inspecting his swords. “Stop making such a fuss and mind your own fucking business.”
It probably wasn’t fair that he still couldn’t admit it out loud. He assumed that all of their friends already knew about the relationship between Hange and him. More than once, he had bumped into one of them late at night while on his way to Hange’s room. And his half-hearted excuses for why he was lingering in the hallway at that hour hadn’t been very convincing, given the knowing looks he received each time. He also assumed that Hange had been caught as well, so it wasn’t exactly a secret anymore.
Nonetheless, Levi knew that he was unable to express his emotions out loud, especially when it came to something like love. He downright hated it, for he felt like an uptight teenager and also didn’t want to hurt Hange’s feelings - but he couldn’t help it, it was part of who he was. Fortunately, though, it didn’t seem to bother her too much, and she simply accepted it. He knew he probably didn’t deserve her understanding, but for some inexplicable reason, she was willing to give it to him.
And so they continued their more or less secret relationship, meeting as often as they could, mostly at night or during spare moments between training. Levi hoped fervently that his flusteredness would fade with time and that he would grow accustomed to the new feelings that came with being in love. But luck was not on his side, and even though he eventually managed to form coherent sentences in her presence, the tips of his ears always turned a deep red.
After yet another spectacle at training - he had been racing against Mike, but Hange cheering him on sent him crashing into the leaves instead of landing on the branch - he was, of course, summoned to Erwin’s office.
“There is no rule that says relationships between soldiers are prohibited, you know?” the commander said, addressing the shorter man who was seated in front of him, hunched over as if trying to disappear into the chair. “Both Hange and you have been through a lot, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t pleased to see that you seem to enjoy each other's company.”
“Wonderful,” Levi growled, but he still couldn’t quite meet the other man’s eyes. The way everyone was constantly pointing out his and Hange’s relationship made things even worse, and he felt like everyone was just waiting for him to screw up.
“But you’re giving your emotions too much power over you," Erwin continued. “It’s important to balance them with your responsibilities. Don't try to suppress or fight them; instead, accept them as part of who you are. This way, they’ll have less impact on your performance in the field.”
Levi finally looked up, perking up an eyebrow. “What, are you too now trying to be a fucking expert on my personal life?”
Erwin chuckled and, leaning back in his chair, crossed his legs. “I’m just trying to be your friend, Levi. But I understand, I don’t mean to intrude into your affairs. Just … think about what I just said, yes?” Levi only grumbled in response and, to his relief, was dismissed.
Accept your feelings as a part of who you are. And how the hell was he supposed to do that? With a sigh, he walked across the hallway, on his way back to the sleeping quarters. But as he turned the corner, he nearly bumped into someone.
Apparently, Hange had been waiting for him and smiled when he murmured a quiet and embarrassed apology. “So … what are you doing tonight?” she asked casually.
Excitement bubbled up inside him, and he swallowed hard before answering. “Nothing.” Great response, how inviting!
“Me neither,” she said, and then, after a moment’s hesitation, added: “Do you wanna come to town with me?”
Levi didn’t even have to think twice about it. Although it might come off as too eager, he immediately nodded and blurted out, “Yes.”
The smile Hange gave him in return made his heart flutter, and for some reason it didn’t stop - not even when they set off together. His thoughts were racing as he wondered if this had been her way of asking him out. The idea of possibly going on a date suddenly made him jittery, and he nearly tripped over his own feet. But then, he recalled what Erwin had said to him, about accepting his feelings rather than freaking out over them.
So he took a deep breath and checked in with himself. Yes, he was feeling very nervous and anxious; his heart was racing and his mouth was dry. But he hadn’t passed out yet, so he was still good. She might be able to sense his nervousness, but he assumed that she wouldn’t be there with him if it bothered her. So he would try not to let it bother him either.
Feeling a little calmer, he glanced at her out of the corner of his eye. To his surprise, he noticed how she was nervously playing with her fingers. All the time, he had been so preoccupied with his own feelings that it hadn’t even crossed his mind that Hange might be just as nervous as he was. But now it was obvious to him: the way she swallowed when she noticed his gaze, how her eyes flicked towards him, away and then back to him again, and how she dug her nails into the hem of her jacket - he simply hadn’t noticed it before.
His next action was rather impulsive than well-thought out, but he still went ahead with it. He extended his hand - perhaps a bit too abruptly, as she flinched slightly - and then, more gently, reached out for her hand. He could clearly feel her freeze under his touch, but she didn't pull away, which he took as a good sign. Carefully, he wrapped his fingers around her hand and ran his thumb over her knuckles in what he hoped was a soothing, reassuring gesture.
For a few heartbeats, they stood there, side by side, neither daring to look at the other, and Levi almost regretted having initiated what probably counted as a public display of affection. But then he felt her hand shift, and to his surprise, she slowly interlaced her fingers with his.
He was amazed at how perfectly her fingers slid into the spaces between his, like two pieces meant to fit together, and he couldn’t help but stare at their joined hands, wearing what was probably the sappiest expression imaginable. When he looked up again, Hange met his gaze almost bashfully, a soft pink flush on her cheeks. “Let’s go,” she whispered, and Levi, once again at a loss for words, allowed her to pull him with her.
They walked through the hallways and passed the dining room, which was very crowded at this time of the evening. As they went, they also walked by familiar faces, who greeted their joined hands with amused ‘Oohs’ and playful snickering. But at no moment did she let go of his hand - and nor did he.
Yes, his ears had grown hot with embarrassment again, and there was a strange flutter in his stomach. But as he looked at Hange walking in front of him, her ponytail swinging with each step, her crinkled eyes and dopey smile (which was probably matching his own), he decided that he was fine. He was okay with what he was feeling and wouldn’t want to change it for anything in the world.

✍️ Fic authors self rec!
When you get this, reply with your favorite five fics that you've written, then pass on to other writers you know. Let's spread some self-love! 💛
Hey Sunshine ☀️
Thanks for dropping by my inbox with this ask! Well, I won't tell you I'm not embarrassed to do this but let's go for a bit of self-promo 🫣
So far my stuff is mostly Levihan-centered but I'm writing for other SNK pairings & for Levi x Reader at the moment as well (still in my WIP though).
✍️
1 - SUNBURST // 2.2k words // Modern AU // SFW // read on Tumblr & AO3
The latest of my works. It's part 2 of my series It's not like I've got something grand to say to you & I wrote it in one go within a few hours but I'm rather proud of it, especially Levi's characterisation. A word about this series: it will be a bunch of "chapters" requested for a drabble challenge that I decided to write as parts of the same story.
2 - ECHO // 1k words // Canon Universe // N.SFW-ish // read on Tumblr & AO3
I love Terra's (@dont-f-with-moogles ) story Never Enough & I wrote this drabble inspired by the series as a gift for her birthday. Once again, Levi's turmoil inspired me.
3 - BEHIND THE SCENES // 2.1k words // Modern AU // Actor AU // N.SFW-ish // read on Tumblr
This one was requested by anon & it's a Pikuhan fic (with a side of Levihan, I can't help it!). Actor AU is really a good setting for stories, I love to see them all being alive & well! I had so much fun writing this one! There'll be a part 2 & there'll definitely be other SNK Actor AU drabbles. I haven't posted it on AO3 yet.
4 - DUMBSTRUCK // 1k words // Modern AU // N.SFW-ish // read on Tumblr & AO3
Part one of It's not like I've got something grand to say to you series, written for another challenge. Hange's POV for once. Well I mean, Hange's POV about Levi's body hehe. The first time I've been proud of something I wrote tbh.
5 - UNDER THE MISTLETOE // 1.3k words // Modern AU // SFW // read on Tumblr & AO3
Part two of my Levi x Reader series Love Language (side note: part one is one year old & it's crap tbh, but I posted it as a reference to see if my writing is improving with time). A bit cheesy but I kinda like it however.
✍️
I'm not a particularly good writer but I'm not that bad after all I guess lmao.
A big shout out to all those who liked/reblogged/commented/kudo-ed my silly works! It means a lot to me & I'm so thankful for your kind support!
Sending love your way Sunshine 🫶☀️
✍️
Please consider reblogging / commenting / kudo-ing fics on Tumblr or AO3 to support writers, it's really encouraging for them!

📝 and ☂️ for the ask game ✨
hey, thank you for sending these in!
send me some get to know me asks
Tumblr media
📝 last thing you wrote
well, i'm working on 4 wildly different wips at the moment, but i've been focusing esp on a very old request for mike x erwin, that i feel i'm FINALLY getting right. it's a modern/office AU, a little bit nsfw but not actual smut, kind of a crack fic too? and with background levihan because, as always, everything is levihan and i can't fucking control my obsession with them. so yeah, fingers crossed to finish and post it soon!!
Tumblr media
☂️ your favorite fanfic from another writer
this is a cruel one because there are many!!
but alright, sticking to SNK and having to pick only one, i have to go with Good Fight by someonestolemyshoes, which is a masterpiece that has lived rent free in my mind since i first read it mooooooonths ago. i think about that fic almost every time i write canonverse levihan, even if i'm not writing anything smutty. it just pops to the front of my thoughts like "OMG REMEMBER THIS FIC" and idk man (gn), i just love it to death. it's got longing + friends to lovers + There was only one bed/tent Trope + feelings realization while fucking so like what am i to do??
so, yeah. that one i guess. whatever.

if you don't indentify as a male can you not post gay porn (eren and armin fics) Thats called fetishizing so i would recommend you delete them but if your okay being gay fetishizing keep them up.
imma entertain you tonight bc i got time before i go binge this show lmao
first let's go over the definition of fetishizing because it seemed to slip from your brain my love,
2 definitions;
1. make (something) the object of a sexual fetish.
2. have an excessive and irrational commitment to or obsession with (something).
so for definition 1, in order for me to make something the object of a sexual fetish i have to reduce said object down for me to only or majority view it as a sexual object. or, for a more clearer and articulated sentence, "making someone an object of sexual desire based on some aspect of their identity."
in this case you're trying to say that i'm reducing eren and armin down to their sexual appeal, the sexual desire that they hold which isn't the case at all.
because if i was doing so i would have little to no posts about them that isn't smut or thirsts, i wouldn't have gauged/analysed their level of friendship from the manga, appreciated the kind of friendship that they have.
i have talked about them in a non-sexual manner a plethora of times, see, X, X, X, X for a few examples and there's many more times that aren't even on my tumblr.
definition 2, just by the looks of my page i have one eremin smut fic up. one.
does one fic scream obsession to you? does it look like i have a commitment to eremin? they're not the only ship i talk about on my page, nor are they what i talk about most on my page, so this definition is pretty much self explanatory.
anyway, moving on from the definitions, another thing; usually when it comes to fetishization you're taking a aspect of something's identity and morphing it into something of sexual appeal? right? so that being said i would've had to take one look at eren and armin and go "oh 2 men, let me write smut about them." and if that was the case then why don't i have any erejean smut? jeanmarco smut? eruri smut? because if i was fetishing gay pairings i would have an obsession with any ship that contains 2 men since 2 men would fulfill the fetishization i have for gay pairings.
newsflash, i don't.
why don't i? because i am not fetishizing eren and armin, nor any gay ship, and i don't boil eren and armin down to their sexual appeal— i could give you a whole essay on their dynamic and why i love them as ship, and none of it would even pertain to a sexual appeal, because that's not why my sole reason for shipping them.
another thing, on your part. for you to say that if i don't identify as male i can't post gay porn is incredibly exclusive, the implications behind your ask is basically saying, me a cishet person, should limit myself to only writing about cishet relationships... that would be exclusive to literally everyone in the lgbtq+ community and that's one thing i would never do because i'm an ally. you're basically telling me that if someone sends me an ask requesting eremin smut, mikannie smut, levihan etc. etc. i should turn them down because i shouldn't write about any lgbtq+ relationship... you rather me be exclusive than inclusive because you see me writing about any non-cishet relationship as fetishizing... oh, okay.
you dumbing down me writing about a ship says that when you saw my eremin smut you immediately thought "2 gay men".... and immediately related me writing about 2 men to fetishizing... that's embarrassing that that's the first thing that comes to mind for you...
and if that's your logic then me writing about anything other than a cishet smut fic would be fetishizing.
also if that's your logic take the time out of your day to go through the eremin smut tag and send this ask to everyone who doesn't identify as male.
anyway on that note you sound dumb as fuck, try me another day lol. i will be going to binge my show now.

Omg Alpha, since we have Levihans as cats, can you recreate the iconic pasta scene from Lady and the Trump? Just the two of them sharing the food 😭. This is only an idea and zero pressure! Thanks for all your art! 💖
Gosh the Lady and the Tramp spaghetti scene...I love this idea Anon. Heck I grew so attached to it that I decided to make a little Levihan cats comic where they do just that! I'm gonna upload it all in like...15 minutes. I wanted to attach it all here to this ask but the formatting was being stubborn so I'm gonna upload it separate to this ask. Just a little longer, sorry for taking so much time, but hopefully the wait is worth it!
Lil preview to keep you posted! He is unimpressed. >:0
Tumblr media
In the meantime anyone else feel free to send me more asks, requests, etc, they make my day! :D

hi do you accept fanfic requests? because imagine a love, rosie levihan au? the childhood friends to lovers slowburn? the angst in the middle but it gets resolved by the end?
Title: Lock and Key (1/2)
Summary:
"He thought back to the dingy small town, back to the dingy cage. Hange was just one canary who flew off. And Levi was the one left behind in the cage.
So he kept the lock in place. He held onto the key. Just in case, she did decide to come back."
Levi and Hange are childhood friends and Levi just can't bring himself to tell her how he feels.
Link to cross-postings: AO3
Notes: I'm sorry anon I did not follow the whole prompt. I took some liberties with it but I hope you still enjoy <3. Quick warning, it's a little angstier (maybe?)
It all started with a party. Years later, Levi was sure, during his off days, he would go back it---to the flashes of strobe lights, the guitar riffs, the beat music, the strong taste of alcohol burning at his throat.
Not for any of those sensations though. He felt like he was dying. They were painful,o verwhelming and Levi was frozen on his seat, cocktail glass between his shaking fingertips, the unnatural heat grazing his cheeks.
He didn’t want to be there.
But he would only be a high school student once. Soon enough they would be sending applications for college and he wouldn’t be able to enjoy the party scene with the thrill of ‘illegality.’
Soon, Levi had to admit, it wasn’t just about the experience. Who cared if it was illegal or legall. It was never just about the experience. He lived his whole high school life not engaging with that type of crowd.
It was Hange who got him just breaking past that comfort bubble he set up for himself, for just that one night. And the experience came with a burning question.
When can we do it again?
Hange was submitting applications to colleges outside the country. Levi didn’t know the odds exactly, he had been too terrified to ask. Something was telling him though that Hange wouldn’t be going to college nearby. In a years time, she might not be next to him.
Hange. The Hange that had been such a constant in his life. And when he was counting down days while basking in uncertainties, he was just a little more open to very uncomfortable feelings.
Hange didn't seem so terrified."This might just be our last hurrah before entrance exams," she said, a cheeky smile on her face.
I know that. Levi said. And as he saw that intent look in her gaze, all for him he was sure. Did he look like he was enjoying? How could he be enjoying it though when the music was playing in time to his pounding head?
“Toilet,” Levi said.
“Okay, you want me to order something else?”
“Just order anything. It’s your birthday,” Levi said as he teetered just a little bit towards the bathroom stall. They had picked a corner table at least and fortunately, the walk to the bathroom didn’t feel like so much of a journey.
Levi stayed in the toilet for a while longer. There were two stalls but by some divine grace, the bathroom was empty and Levi had to act quickly if he wanted to get anything out.
He studied his features. He was bright pink under the white light. He was occasionally blurry. The bright lights that came with reflections got his head a little pounding. But he thought he was in a fairly decent position to at least try.
He had plans on how to do it. Subtly so it wouldn’t hurt. Smartly so he only elicited enough of a reaction to placate his own doubt. And smoothly, so it would end in a blink of an eye.
“Hange, there’s a post I found on Reddit…” Levi rehearsed. Well technically that part was true but he didn’t want her to think he actually rehearsed that.
“Hey Hange, with college exams coming up soon… and your plans…” Levi started. Did he seem just a little too stalkery then? Was he supposed to be thinking of her plans when she hadn’t even told him anything?”
Levi had rehearsed, but the answers came out a little too impromptu. “I have an idea…”
“An idea? That sounds interesting. Everytime we work together in groupworks you never have ideas…” Hange’s voice was slurring, she was a little too talkative and Levi was hesitating.
He cleared his throat. “An idea…” He tested it himself, just to make sure it wasn’t coming out faltered or stilted like Hange’s voice then. “A marriage pact?”
Hange’s eyes widened then. And for a second, there was a flash of sobriety in them. “A marriage pact? This sounds interesting…”
Levi was quick to amend it, scolding whatever hell ghost changed those words before he said it. “Dating pact. I meant a dating pact. We’re not gonna get married without dating of course... I saw this on Reddit but what if… When we’re twenty-eight, when you finish that PhD you’ve always wanted and we’re still single… What if we try dating? Don’t get me wrong… dating just feels weird but I think that I might be missing something here but maybe when I’m that old, that would be a good time to try it out.”
Hange hummed in thought. “That’s an idea. We’re probably still too young to be thinking about dating huh? And with college exams coming up…” The gears in her brain were moving, Levi was sure. “But, if let’s say you find someone… Or I find someone?”
If you find someone? Just imagining the phantom man had Levi catching something in his throat. He looked away as he felt the bile rise up his throat, a little shaken by that moment where his imagination went wild for just a second. But he wasn’t supposed to feel that way.
Or maybe he should be feeling that way. After all, how many drinks had he downed until that point. Hange was starting to be a little wild too. It wasn’t an all too uncharacteristic move. She had always been the loud one, the more extroverted one.
But she was always particularly studious too and just seeing Hange jumped out of her seat and navigate her way through the crowds and towards the dancefloor had Levi suspended in disbelief for a second.
But he followed suit.
The strobe lights were brighter. The music was louder and in a way, it had devolved into ringing in his ears. Those were only secondary.
The moment he caught up to Hange, he found himself holding her by the arm, navigating all the way until her hand, just for a better grip. She was an anchor to reality, an anchor to reasoning beyond the harrowing effects of the lights and sounds.
Her skin on his wasn’t an overwhelming outburst of sensations. It was warm, it was smooth. The pull as she danced to some rhythm was predictable.
He had known her for years. Hange had always embodied comfort for him.
Tipsy, overwhelmed and a little unhinged at that moment, Levi danced to her rhythm and he rode the dizzying trappings of his inebriated state.
Riding such feelings though had its own collection of surprises and soon Levi found himself on the rooftop of the bar, enjoying the feel of the concrete right below him and beneath it, the shaking from the bass of the music just on the floor below him. It was faint though and there were sounds and sensations more intimate at that moment.
Hange’s breaths and the laughs in between were shaky. Her grip on his hand was tighter, far from painless but he couldn’t complain. God forbid, it might just end.
“Levi, I thought about the dating pact. What happens if you find someone? Or I find someone?”
“Then we don’t push through with the pact. Simple as that,” Levi said.
“You’ll still be there right? Even if I find someone?”
Levi felt a wave relief rush through him and he let out a harsh breath, a product of his own tipsiness then and his own discomfort at their circumstances. “We’ve been best friends since before we could remember. What’s a few more decades?”
“We might lose touch… I dunno? Did I tell you? I applied for colleges abroad. This just isn’t the best environment for research.”
“Then I’ll visit you.”
“And if I find someone there?”
“Then I’ll be the cool uncle to your kids, if you ever have them.”
***
He didn’t have to think about it over the months. Or maybe he just chose not to think about it.
Work, responsibilities and life as a whole never gave him any breaks to think so much as the far future.
What was the point of thinking about a future when he wasn’t working on it? So Levi worked his part time job, he studied and he prepared for his own entrance exams. Even when entrance exams ended, Levi was at least able to focus on the hell weeks before graduation.
He didn’t expect at all to have to think about it again, in a coffee shop of all places after one of his own shifts. He was in the middle of organizing the tea bags at the front of the shop when the reminder presented itself.
The reminder of such musings came as a clang of wind chimes, some huffing and puffing and some rhythmically unhinged footsteps. Hange appeared out of the corner and into the empty cafe, letter in hand.
Her cheeks were flushed and Levi had to note that she was wearing too little layers.
Levi glanced at the clock. “Did you just run here from your house at nine in the evening?”
Hange nodded. “Yes, I did.” Her house wasn’t too far, a ten minute walk if they were taking a relaxing stroll. It was nine in the evening though and it didn’t look like Hange had even bothered to put on a coat. Excitement probably did those types of things to people. She waved the letter up in the air and her breaths were only getting quicker and more unpredictable.
As if she was struggling to speak. “Slow down,” Levi said.
He untied his apron, pulled it off and sat on one of the tables closest to the counter. He patted the table, just a simple gesture for her to sit. He could spare a few minutes, his shift was ending soon anyway and not many people would be entering a breakfast cafe an hour before closing.
Hange needed a few more minutes to gather herself but she at least had some courtesy to slip the letter in front of him. “Read.”
We are pleased to inform you…
Full scholarship. Research stipend.
“I passed!” Hange said. “I’m leaving this dingy town for college!”
Levi was happy. He was sure of it. Maybe he had spent just a little too much time thinking logistics that it hadn’t manifested so naturally as a smile. He had to force it. He had to widen his eyes and he had to nod his head to express any approval. But really Hange’s face then a mixture of surprise, joy, ecstasy had him excited too. It had him shaking.
But there were just some things he couldn't shake off even with the most natural movements. Hange seemed to notice. “It’s only a plane ride away.”
But to get to the plane, one would need to get through at least three local trains, then the airport express then the actual airport and just the idea of Hange standing behind the barriers of money, bureaucracy and time was overwhelming in itself. Since they were young, Hange had only ever been a few blocks away. That wasn’t something he would have wanted to tell her though. She might just think he was crazy. “You’re right… It isn’t too far.”
“Didn’t you apply too?”
“I wouldn’t be able to pay for the tuition but I tried for a scholarship. It’s a long shot but…”
“Well, I heard they consider grades, extracurriculars as well as part time jobs.”
Levi knew that. He had done the research way beforehand. But he averaged Bs and his own financial situation and the need for part time jobs meant he had little to no engagement with other extracurriculars.
Still, Levi found himself hoping. When the letter arrived, left on the counter by his mother. Levi was quick to open it, his heart was racing and maybe his fingers had faltered a bit as he ripped open the top of the envelope.
We regret to inform you…
At that moment, Levi almost regretted even applying for the scholarship. The school didn’t even consider him as a student.
“There are community colleges,” his mother had said.
Conditional Acceptance. Scholarship denied. He wasn’t the type to hide those things from Hange. And maybe Hange read the room, maybe it had her treading rough grounds, more than Levi would have liked.
Graduation loomed like a vulture ready to strike. The difference was he knew exactly when the vulture would strike. And sometimes it flew over them in moments where Levi could have sworn graduation was still a long time away.
Hange didn’t seem to notice. Or maybe she didn’t care. Hange though was something special. She prattled on about college plans, about her dormitory preparation and even about her thesis topics which were still five years away.
Then suddenly, she just stopped. Suddenly conversation topics shifted to studies, to research paper topics, to the most interesting customers Levi would run into at the tea shop.
Hange was still excited. Levi had known her long enough to figure it out. When Hange wasn’t holding anything, she was twiddling her thumbs. When she was watching her words, she tended to speak slower, she tended to stutter and she tended to pick the most professional words that most high school students wouldn’t even consider vernacular.
Levi brought it up again over team, a few months after the rejection letter, a few weeks after he noticed that subtle change in her demeanor. “Hange, how are your plans for college? You’re gonna have to leave in a month right?” Hange was leaving a few weeks after graduation, to give herself time to adjust to the new city.
Hange’s mouth dropped open. “I mean, yes… I will be leaving in a month.” She had been in the middle of mentioning words like ‘diction,’ and ‘sovereign’ when describing her writing style for her final paper and it looked like she was still trying to adjust.
Maybe Levi had introduced the topic a little too suddenly. It was too late to go back though. “So, we have a week or two after graduation right?”
“In between packing… Yes,” Hange said with a shrug. How Hange had mellowed into something hesitant, almost lifeless had been a mystery to Levi. For only that split second though. Hange cleared her throat. “How do you feel about it?”
It turned out, there had always been an elephant in the room. And it bared its fangs then, hidden right under the trunk. The air turned heavy, making it almost difficult to breathe.
He was the only one though capable of finding his own breath again. “What can I say? I didn’t pass.” Levi dropped his shoulders and let out a weak sigh, not loud enough to make himself seem pathetic. Rejection letters had already left him feeling pathetic for months.
Hange responded with a wry smile. “I’m sorry about that. I should have realized earlier. I should have been more sensitive.” She was kind. She was empathetic. She was always striving to be better. And she always had been.
At that moment, in the cafe, tapping her fingers on the porcelain cup, Levi saw it. She was a kettle, a pot ready to burst, only covered by a stubbornly heavy lid.
A lid she had put just for him. That was the moment Levi realized, he might just be pulling her back.
***
There was another elephant in the room. An elephant that followed with heavy steps that shook the whole room.
At least to Levi it seemed that way.
Uncertainty was a very heavy thing. When he could barely see what would be at the end of the tunnel---the end being the day Hange lugs a lifetime worth of belongings and takes a train to the airport--- Levi felt the pressure of his whole life in front of him crammed into the next two weeks.
A day after graduating, when the countdown just became a little too clearer, Hange wasn’t next to him and he had to make do. A day-long trip to the capital to get some student visa shit sorted out.
She wouldn’t have called it ‘student visa shit,’ she had said something nicer definitely, something that embodied her life long dreams of a living outside of their ‘dingy old town.’ That ‘student visa thing’ had Levi uncertain, twiddling his thumbs like she did many times before, the student visa thing had him feeling like ‘shit.’
So he called it ‘shit,’ and he enjoyed the bitter venom in his mouth, the sweet release and the comfortable exhale that followed.
“Sounds hectic,” Farlan said. He hadn’t been looking at Levi’s way the entire time, too busy aiming for a headshot at the screen.
It was hectic. But it wasn’t shit to Levi for that reason.
“I guess that’s one good thing about getting into community college.”
“Yeah, it does sound hectic.” Levi had been secretive about applying. He let the subtle fact that he had applied to similar colleges to Hange simmer in the room, ebb at the guilt inside him. He wasn’t telling anyone about community college being a fall back. That was a secret he’d keep to his heart, only known by his mother, his uncle and Hange. Fortunately, Hange never brought it up. “That’s why I didn’t wanna bother her today.”
“She’s busy.”
“When you get into a really good college I guess...” The silence was heavy again. The elephant in the room plopped down right next to him and their conversation wasn’t making too much sense and as Levi quickly analyzed the shooting game in front of him, he understood why Farlan wouldn’t have the headspace for some slight drama.
So Levi sat quietly, politely ignoring the tension, instead focusing on bending forward while cross legged, letting his back stretch behind him. Stretching his aching muscles, undoing knots, allowed some lightness to settle, taking the space of whatever heaviness there had been a second ago.
The game ended soon after with a taut swear from Farlan. Then a question Levi hadn’t been ready for. “Are you gonna tell her?”
Levi almost spat out his response. “Tell her what?”
Farlan put the controller down. “It’s your last chance right? Once she leaves for the city, she’ll find new people… And she’s not ugly you know. A lot of people--- men and women---will go after her. ”
She was frumpy, plain especially right after a shower. Worry and stress would line her face right after a long night. Levi had to admit though that she was far from ugly. Her notably bright personality, her intelligence that ‘came once every decade’ according to the many conversations he had heard among teachers were painful reminders, the impending goodbye was just turning out to be more and more terrifying.
“I know that.” Levi couldn’t bring himself to say anymore, not about his feelings, not about the marriage pact. Articulating what he was thinking would only serve to make it more real.
“How you feel about her leaving?”
“Well, of course I’m sad about it, she’s my best friend.”
“Yeah, but don’t you wanna lock it… If you know what I mean,” Farlan said slowly, as if he were talking to someone either oblivious or someone below the age of five.
Levi was neither five nor oblivious. Still, obliviousness was a convenient trait. “Lock what?”
Farlan let out a mix between a sigh and a laugh. “Never mind.” He clicked ‘start a new game.’ The loading screen flashed in front of him and Farlan used as an opening to turn back. “It’s up to you but--- I know she means a lot to you and I just think if she means that much to you… you should take the risk.”
Levi decided on it a few minutes later but he saw no convenient opportunity to tell Farlan, the latter having been engrossed in a more challenging campaign since a while ago. So any attempt to articulate his decision died there.
And he had two weeks to come up with a final plan.
***
Less than 24 hours ago, Levi was determined to tell Hange. His confidence was a littles stronger than usual. He was no writer but he had a script. He was no actor but he had allowed himself time in front of the mirror to balance his tones, to time his rests.
It was stupid. He had known Hange for years but circumstances, and maybe Levi’s own fastidious personality, had him realizing confessions were a nuanced thing. Emphasizing the wrong words could have Hange getting the wrong message.
And when he didn’t even know whether he wanted her to leave or stay, he wasn’t even sure what the right message was.
He had dedicated at least three hours to the whole preparation process when a speed bump appeared.
In the form of a shopping trip with his mother and the young daughter of the family friend. Isabel was only a few years younger, but her innocence, her blind optimism at the state of the world and the fate of relationships was closer to that of a five year old.
Having spent the past few hours dealing with his own skeletons, Levi was a little envious, particularly when she had walked ahead “ooh”-ing and “aah”ing at everyday things. The streets have always been cobblestoned. Although the trinkets at the front of the shops, although the food sold at the streetcars varied by season, the big picture always seemed the same to Levi.
If he walked until the end of the main street, he would find the town church. If he walked along the alleys, he would find a few pubs that opened too late in the day and too early in the evening. And if he kept walking until the end of the alleys, he would find greens. And lots and lots of mountains.
It is a dingy little town. Those were Hange’s words. But it’s our dingy little town. He hadn’t been to the center of town in so long and when all he could think about was Hange, he was noticing the smallest things. Everything Hange hated about the town.
“Levi, let’s check out the pet shop!”
Kuchel had been busy looking at the spices displayed at the front of one of the shops and Isabel was starting to get a little restless.
“I’ll take her,” Levi said.
Kuchel nodded, still occupied with spices. “Sure I’ll meet you there.”
It was a weekday, the beginning of summer yet the heat was enough to have Levi a little uncomfortable in a shirt with sleeves past his elbows. It was the crowd he had to navigate through definitely. Humans were warm creatures and the crowds trapped the warmth, the sun above only contributed its share of warmth.
Warmth and warmth mixed together became unbearably hot and under it all, Levi was uncomfortable, he was finding a distraction. And he was still thinking of Hange.
“Look, it’s a canary.” Isabel was supposed to have been a distraction. When Levi looked back to stare at it, he felt it, Hange was still a nagging thought in the back of his mind. And inadvertently, he was projecting her into anything remotely Hange.
“Can we buy it, Levi?”
His mind wasn’t in the conversation. He was focused just a little too much on the yellow bird, clamoring the sides of the cage, only grasping by the thinner metal bars. “You wanna buy the canary?” Levi asked.
“I read in a book. Canaries are high energy birds and they can’t be kept inside the cage. They said it’s not healthy."
"Not healthy?"
"I wanna set it free.”
Isabel was tugging at him but Levi was frozen in place. He had pulled out from the crowds and he was in a better position definitely. One discomfort had been replaced with another though.
The crowds came and left, soon replaced by thoughts of Hange once again. That had Levi stiffening up.
“Levi, let’s check the store!”
The poor poor canary.
“I wanna buy the canary!”
Kuchel wouldn’t allow it. Isabel’s parents wouldn’t allow it. Did they even have the money for it? They barely even made ends meet.
Levi was certain never before had he even given caged animals more than one glance but the canary had taken up more space in his mind, more than he was willing to have given from the start.
He stared longer. He stared deeper into those eyes. Then he figured it out, there was one bright eyed, high energy bird much closer to him. Before the thoughts could form into something else, Levi attempted to look away, surveying his surroundings instead.
The bright sweltering sun only served to magnify the black, rotting among the corners in the alleys and the houses. If he focused on the outdated grills and the peeling paint, he noticed it.. Hange was right, the small town was dingy.
When he looked beyond it, squinting just a little bit, he saw more. Just past the buildings and the alleys though were trees, greens, there were mountains. The next town was a good long train ride away. The next city was a much longer train ride away. The raw sensation of rejection letter on hand only served to build the bars for him.
The small town was a dingy cage. And two weeks later, he saw it in her. The bright yellow. The talons that clambered up, foraging for some opening in the cage.
And he saw it clearly completely at the gate to immigration, just a few minutes after check in.
Hange wasn’t crying. Hange didn’t curl her lips down into a grimace. In fact, everything was the other way around. It was as if she wasn’t leaving him and he wasn’t leaving her.
Levi spoke up. “Send a message before you take off.”
“Will do,” Hange replied.
“And when you arrive there,” Levi added.
“You know I will,” Hange said calmly. A big smile played at her lips. “You’ll visit right?”
“I’ll save up for it.” Levi had done the calculations. One year of saving, one year of cutting down on any luxuries and he could afford the plane ticket at least.
The train ticket. Then the plane ticket. The whole journey there. The weight of the effort seemed surreal and it would only become a reality when he lets her go, through the immigration doors.
Only passengers beyond this point. Levi stared at the sign for a little longer. Once Hange crossed that, the next time he would see her would be after he paid the ridiculous ticket prices, put in the long painstaking hours on the plane
“Hey, I’ll make sure to call, maybe every day, maybe once a week. Depending on how busy we both get,” Hange said gently.
Levi wondered what face he was making to receive such comforts. Hange’s voice wasn’t gentle by nature. She had only summoned it herself through careful thought, through some sustained effort for sure.
And he became more aware of the prickle at the back of his eyes and the inclination to just stand there for as long as he could. Maybe in another world that would have been enough to freeze time.
Then, suddenly he felt guilty for even hoping for some power over time. Hange had been calm, maybe wistful but she was also excited. “I might miss my flight if we stay here any longer.” Her tone was lighter than a while ago. She could have been making a joke.
Levi at least tried to adopt the same demeanor. HIs mind though had been elsewhere. Maybe he had managed a smile, a nod.
Hange turned her back slowly. With one wave of her hand, she went between the gates. She was still waving, past on the other side of the glass. She wasn’t looking at him anymore though.
Acceptance dawned on him more quickly than he expected. Maybe because Hange wasn’t just Hange anymore. Seeing her had been some catalyst to a quick recall.
To the canary long ago, stuck in the cage. The canary who had climbed to the top, in pursuit of some way out of that dingy metal cage.
Before Hange turned the corner towards the gates, she had looked at him one more time. Levi ran towards the glass wall, phone in hand. He held it in front of him and mouthed one word. “Text.”
Hange put one hand on the glass and nodded. She said something else, something he couldn’t tell. But it had fogged the glass just in front of them.
Dingy metal cage. Glass barriers. Two different materials but they did the same thing. They separated people. They kept some in. They kept others out.
Then Levi thought back to the cage, back to the canary and he thought back to the lock that blended too well to the cage. The canary would never have learned to open it alone.
Hange's own education. Her own wit had gotten her out of the cage.
And who was he to stop her? Hange had found the key. She had unlocked it herself.
“I love you. I wish you’d stay.” Would he have been able to call her back in with just one a few words? He said it as a whisper, enough to fog his side of the glass and the haze blended with hers.
By the time he said it the second time, then the third time, enough to cover Hange’s own fog, she had turned back already. She turned the corner, then towards the gate number.
Gate 23. Levi had been fixated enough to memorize the flight number and the gate number.
He stared for a few seconds longer, watching as the fog on the other side disappeared into nothing, leaving scratches and almost invisible specks of dust. For a second longer, he wondered if that had been anything Hange left behind.
He watched his own fog waste into nothing. He thought back to the dingy small town, then back to the dingy cage. Hange was just one canary who flew off.
And Levi was the one left behind in the cage. So he kept the lock in place. He held onto the key. Just in case, she decided to come back.

LETTERS FROM ME TO YOU
A LeviHan short fic
NOTE: Hanji was perceived as she/her in this fic. Also this my first fic hihee.
this fic was inspired by this:https://twitter.com/kyuujuuhachi/status/1342171651287339008?s=21
————————-
sunshine
chirping of the birds
smell of black tea
arms tightly embracing her figure
Hanji was awaken by those things. As she opened her eyes she was met by a set of steel blue orbs.
“Good morning shitty glasses,” he said as he played with her brown locks. Hanji didn’t responded. Instead, she bury herself in his neck feeling the warmth that he has.
It was so warm.
“You are being clingy, four-eyes,” the man beside her remarked before chuckling. His chuckle made her heart beat faster. Hanji swore that she could listen to his chuckle forever as it was a beautiful melody to her ears.
“I just want to feel your warmth....I want you to be near me.,” Hanji finally said as she nuzzle against his neck. She loved his scent, his lavender scent. If she could smell something forever that would be his scent.
“I am right here with you.,” He assured her, still playing with her brown locks. “I am always watching over you. You know that, right?,” he added which made Hanji hummed in agreement.
He then made her to look at him. Hanji instantly got lost in his blue orbs upon meeting it.
“Go back to sleep,” he said. “I don’t wanna,” Hanji responded which made him grunt.
“Sleep, it is still early,” he argued which made Hanji actually smile. “You are too concern to me,” Hanji remarked. He smirked.
“Okay fine I’ll sleep,” Hanji said giving in to her man’s request. “But, promise me you’ll not leave me. ‘kay?”, Hanji added for her assurance.
“Sleep,” he said while giving her a faint smile.
Hanji knew something isn’t right from the moment she woke up but she decided not to dwell in it. A few moments later, she fell asleep again.
—————————
Hanji woke up only to be greeted by a cold space beside her. There were no sunshines, no birds happily chirping around, even the smell of black teas is absent, and most especially there were no strong arms tightly hugging her slim figure.
She scanned her surroundings to check if she was just dreaming or not. When the harsh reality slapped her hard, she chuckled bitterly at her own foolishness.
“How idiot you are, Hanji Zoë?....you can’t even distinguish the difference between a dream and reality....How foolish are you to believe that your dream is the reality,” she criticized herself while wiping the tear that escaped from her working eye.
This is her reality, their reality.
—————————
“I brought everyone here.... I killed countless comrades to be here... I will take that burden”, Hanji said with finality in her voice.
They were ambushed by the rumbling and no one saw this coming. No one ever thought that someone will do a sacrifice that early. But here they are, one needs to do a sacrifice so that the majority will be saved.
For Hanji, it is a simple price to pay for their safety. She is more than willing to trade her life for the alliance’s survival.
“Armin Arlert, I’m promoting you as the fifteenth commander of the Survey Corps.....I’ll leave everyone to you..... So that’s it, bye for now. I’ll see you later,” Hanji said before walking away from the group.
Jean tried to stop her as well as Connie and Armin but to no avail she didn’t listened to them. Hanji already made up her mind.
As Hanji made her way to the horde of Colossals, she stopped in her tracks as soon as she saw Him, her comrade for almost a decade, her companion through thick and thin, her “other-half”.
“Hey... Four-eyes.”
He was about to continue speaking when Hanji cut him off.
“You understand right? My time has come.... I want to look cool as I possibly right now... So just let me go, will you?,” Hanji said as she tried to fight back her tears and maintain her composure.
He knew Hanji already made up her mind. He also knew that he couldn’t do anything about it. But he is as persistent and hard-headed as Hanji, he, also made up his mind.
“I understand....But I want YOU to live... They will be needing your more than an injured and incapable man,” He said without looking in her eyes.
Hanji couldn’t believe what she just heard. What is Levi trying to imply? Is he going to sacrifice himself?
No, it must be her.
“L-le....,” Hanji was cut off . “You know that it is MY time right? So please, just let ME go.,” hesaid with full authority even though he is just a trusted subordinate of Hanji.
“But what about the beast?,” Hanji asked in the hope of convincing him to change his mind. But clearly, He wasn’t backing down in his decision. He was sure that this will be a choice with no regrets.
“I know you’ll do it for me. Erwin will understand that.,” he said in a soft tone. Hanji couldn’t move a single muscle, she even can’t find her voice to stop him.
No, he can’t leave
Please, don’t leave us, don’t leave me.
Those are the things that she wanted to tell him but he never gave her a chance to speak.
“Dedicate your heart,” he said as he placed his left hand on her chest. Hanji found herself trying to fight back her tears from escaping her eyes.
“I’ll look for you in our next life, Hanji my shitty four-eyes,” He muttered to himself before turning his back for her and advancing to the horde of millions of titans before them. Unfortunately, Hanji wasn’t able to hear his last words.
Hanji stood at her place, unable to speak nor to move a muscle. Hanji stood there and watched him in horror as he glides in the air and kill as many titans as he can.
The next thing she knew that she was in the plane surrounded by the mourning alliance. How did she got there? she doesn’t know. The only thing that was in her mind at that moment was him, who sacrificed himself for their sake, whose lifeless body will get trampled down by the Colossals, whose lifeless body will be nowhere to be found after the war.
“See you later, Levi.....Please keep on watching over us.”
—————————————
Hanji snapped out of her trance when she heard her telephone rang.
“Hello? This is Hanji Zoë speaking, how can I help you?”, Hanji entertained the caller.
“Hi, Professor Zoë! I called to inform you that the meeting in Stohess was cancelled due to incliment weather.,” the young man from the other line informed her.
“Noted, Commander.,” Hanji replied.
“Jean. Call me Jean, How many times do I have to tell you?”, Jean replied. Hanji chuckled upon hearing Jean’s voice. It is obvious that he doesn’t want to be called “commander” by her.
“We are talking about work, right?” Hanji retorted which made the young man on the other line chuckled this time. “So how are you?,” he asked. Hanji smiled at the thought that someone was actually concerned about her well-being.
“I’m fine, Jean. I got alot of works to do so I don’t have the time to dwell in sadness,” Hanji replied. Jean knew that even if she said she’s fine, she’s not. Shortly after their exchange of updates to each other’s life they bid farewell to each other.
“Send my regards to the other 104th and especially to Commander-in-chief Arlert,” she said before hunging up the call.
Over the past years, she buried herself with tons of work, she busied herself in helping to modernized Paradis. But, does she really do this to help Paradis or it was an attempt to forget everything especially the pain that she is feeling. Whatever the answer to that question is yet to be known.
Hanji decided to pasttime by cleaning and arranging her stuff. In the whilst of fixing her cabinet a certain metal box caught her attention..
She knew who owns that box. It is just a simple box that they retrieved from his belongings in Kiyomi’s boat. It is one of his last. And it came in to her possession for years now yet she cannot bring herself to open it.
Why is it important to him?
Why did he always hold onto this box?
What is inside of this thing?
She absent-mindedly opened the box. She was expecting to be seeing a some piece of jewelry or even maybe a cravat. But, she was wrong, she saw pieces of paper inside the box.
Those were letters addressed to her. Gathering up her courage she decided to open the first letter
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Hanji smiled as she finished the first letter. It was very heartwarming. She folded back the paper and the proceeded in reading the second one.
Tumblr media
The second letter was short yet it somewhat gave Hanji a peace of mind that he was doing fine in that one month.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The third letter was the most heartbreaking for her. She had a hard time in stopping her tears from escaping. It was written hours before that fateful tragedy so it feels like a goodbye letter and his last will.
Hanji knew that she will lost her sanity anytime soon so she decided to hide those letters again but something caught her attention.
“You,” Hanji muttered the word written on upper right corner of the last piece of paper. Hanji decided to recheck every paper and there she found the letter “I” and the word “loved”.
When Hanji realized the meaning of it, tears escaped from her eye.
“I...loved...you”
All this time Levi was trying to tell it to her. All this time, that was the thing that he wanted to say but couldn’t.
“Why? Why you?”
Sadness filled her heart and all the emotions suppressed all this time were coming back to her. She was crying like there was no tomorrow. She was screaming, throwing all her stuff around. She was in deep regret
“You said you wanted me to live!??,” Hanji screamed yet no one answered her. “But how could I live without you!? How!? Tell me!! Answer me!!,” Hanji screamed in frustration.
After a few moments she calmed down but her tears won’t stop anytime soon.
“ I also loved you,” Hanji muttered the phrase that she also wanted to tell.
But it was too late. The fate was cruel to them. He is not with her anymore to hear her say those words. He is already dead.
Levi Ackerman was already gone.
