Upload Schedule

I've been having a burst of creativity and output lately, which has been awesome! But I start work again tomorrow and I know that'll mean a pretty big drop in output.

I really, really love teaching, but it sucks that being a teacher with a chronic illness means I don't have energy for much of anything else during the school year. Ah well.

Anyway, here's my hopeful upload schedule for the foreseeable future:

Bloom Within Us: every other week

like the flowers and the bees and oneshots for lovers alone wear sunlight (and any non-Furuba oneshots that happen to take over my brain *cough cough ItaFushi cough*): posting as completed (no set schedule)

ichigo ichie and Of Lost Cats and Half-Shadows: alternating monthly (for example, a chapter of ichigo ichie in September would mean a chapter of Of Lost Cats... in October)

The One Who Stays and whatever canon divergence I begin for Fruits Basket Mondays AU week: alternating monthly (similar to the two crossovers)

Right now, this *feels* doable, especially since I have a few chapters already written for Bloom Within Us, but I may need to pull back a bit depending on how it goes (plus I might be starting my masters this year?? so there's that). If that's the case, Bloom Within Us is the priority until it's finished.

I am genuinely excited for all of these fics (lovers alone wear sunlight isn't really a fic, but ykwim) and I have a clear vision for all of them, so it's just a matter of getting the words on the page (always the hard part!).

On another note, I've started translating my own oneshots into French because I apparently didn't have enough projects going on??? And I've been learning how to do digital art and have an Akito-centric project in mind for that??? So those are two more things you'll hopefully see soon! 😅

Being a fanfic writer with ADHD is so fun because you get to think about fic literally 24/7, spend all your free time dreaming up plots and subplots, and you even get to start on those fics sometimes! But the best part is that you also get to never finish those fics because your brain decided to think of another plot and make you get started on that one instead! Which means nothing will ever get finished because you now have ADHD paralysis! Yay! So fun!

I went to bed last night, dreaming and imagining ideas for the WIPs and AUs I'm trying to make progress on. Some of which you are also part of in one form or another.

I did NOT need you waking me up this morning with a new idea starring you. Yes, I realize it's probably my fault for thinking about watching your movie last night (I didn't because I was too tired and unfocused), but that's besides the point.

I already have enough on my plate.

Yes, I'm aware you and your infuriating but pretty personal assistant could be a really cute idea. I have no problem writing it when I have the time to work on it. In fact, I'll even give you one of the prompts from an event I'm currently building a bunch of one-shots for, but that's it.

No, you don't get to demand more attention from me right now.

My plate is full.

Between those WIPs and AUs I mentioned earlier, I also have plans on expanding at least one of them. Plus, I came across an older idea of mine that I'm thinking about revamping, which you, Ransom Drysdale, might also play a part alongside some others. It's been working through my mind in quiet moments the last few days.

I don't see why you can't be more like Steve right now. At least, he's content to wait for the AU idea that sparked for him yesterday afternoon. Sure, he's more exasperated with Bucky and Sam at the moment since this AU involves him being coerced into going on a Singles Cruise, which is why he's being patient. But still, he's being patient.

I'll get to you, Ransom, when I can get to you, and yes, I'll write the opening piece for you and your assistant if that'll make you happy.

Until then, please sit down and be patient with me.

I do not need the pout, either. If it doesn't work with my kiddos and hubby, then it's not going to work with you. Take it elsewhere.

Guys… I’m trying so hard to work on these Star Wars stories but I’m having the hardest time!! I don’t know if it’s my moto juice has dried up or because like I’m overthinking it but I am STRUGGLING! I’ve written some stuff for the Obi-Wan/Cressida one shot but I HATE IT. It just ain’t it!! I’ve got some work done I the next chapter of Unbreakable Bonds but this particular chapter is being SOO difficult because it has to go a certain way!! I just needed to vent and let you all know I’m working on it I promise! If you guys could do me a favor, leave me a comment or a reblog of your favorite chapter if any of my stories, just tell me your favorite part, character, anything! Maybe it’ll help kick me into gear. It’s so hard to write when there isn’t a ton of engagement. I do appreciate those of you who follow, comment, tag or reblog me and my stuff it means so much to me!

man the way ive got like a long Arthur returns fic that I have to get back to once im done with going far too much into politics and slow burn canon era fic

but the more I think about how I wanna incorporate social media into my Arthur returns fic for propaganda reasons ;) (look the gov found out what can you do but go on tiktok/youtube (havent decided yet) and spread the truth :P)

But now Im getting like the urge to do a proper, proper social media fic for an Arthur returns premise, the kind where like there's only social media in it, you know? I just have this kinda like documentary esk thing in my head and I soooooo wanna do something about that
