Hey friends!

I know a few of you have noticed my absence and have been checking in on me (super appreciated) so I wanted to give a quick life update!

I've fallen silly head-over-heals in love with my fella since we started dating a couple months ago and are ~officially~ in a commited and HEALTHY relationship together. I know a couple of you know (Matan and Dan, looking at you two) but I wanted to make my happiness public knowledge on here.

WHICH MEANS!!! No more spicy snaps or asks or (shouldn't need to be said but WILL be said) unsolicited NSFW pictures/content/posts. You will be blocked.

Work has been INSANITY. My boss is leaving Aug 16th but has taken like....2 to 3 weeks vacation in between now and then 🙃. One of my other colleagues/friends also left so we are basically a 2.5 person office trying to manage a bunch of incoming students for the Fall, high need student cases, orientation, summer testing, and lord knows what else. Still not getting paid enough to actually deal with life and pay my bills but at least I have an office to hide in...?

I am still selling nsfw content for those who are interested in purchasing because of the above situation. I will post an update if things change, pinky promise.

I've been job searching because of the shit show and lack of pay raise so we shall see what happens. If anyone knows of any advising or accessibility advisor/coordinator positions in higher edu in the southern new england area, PLEASE tell me.

Lil Rhody (and most of NE tbh) has been getting SLAMMED with heat wave after heat wave and I absolutely hate it. The heat intolerance from my meds is insane still for me to deal with and it's not been a baja blast on these streets.

Anyway, those are the big life updates! I hope everyone is doing well (or as well as you can be doing despite the horrors) and just know I am still around! For my dearest moots/friends, I am on snap and feel comfy enough to give it to you (if you don't already have it) if you need me!

Just some random Touma & Mikuni thoughts that my brain has been chewing on

I hadn't mulled over it much until now, but --

In the mirror world, Jun and Yumi refer to Touma as "director" instead of "assistant director," which implies that not only is he still their boss, he might even be the head of the company this time around.

Meanwhile, Mikuni is getting ready to join and take over the family business, which likely means he's stepping into the role Mikado used to fill in the previous world, including doing a lot of business within C3.

Assuming C3 functions in the mirror world the same way it functioned in the previous world, this would probably mean that Mikuni and Touma actually have to interact with each other frequently -- and honestly, that's hilarious.

I mean, these two absolutely hated each other. Mikuni obviously had reasons not to like Touma, since he was basically trying to do the same thing that Mikuni is currently doing -- use Tsurugi to create the ninth Servamp. And Touma once tried to shoot Mahiru for even mentioning Mikuni's name that one time in the basement of C3, so it's not much of a stretch to say the feelings were mutual.

Yet in the mirror world, Touma (presumably) doesn't realize that things are different -- but Mikuni absolutely knows, considering he's the one causing the world to change over and over again while trying to bring Misono back into existence. And now I can't stop thinking about the idea of Touma and Mikuni having a normal business relationship (WITH TSURUGI ON MIKUNI'S SHOULDER THE WHOLE TIME TOO, AND TOUMA DOESN'T EVEN KNOW WHO TSURUGI IS IN THIS VERSION OF THE WORLD. MIKUNI YOU'RE SO MESSED UP.)

Obviously, I can only speculate about a lot of this stuff, since it isn't confirmed yet -- we have no clue how many details Mikuni changed while altering the timeline. Maybe he and Touma don't even know each other in this world. Who knows.

All I know for sure is -- I so desperately want to see Mikuni interacting normally with Touma and Mahiru, all the while knowing this isn't how things used to be. Like a private little gloating party in his twisted head. I love how completely messed up it all sounds.

I have had my first brush with the whole Thistle and Falin dynamic, and my horrible goblin brain is already activated and considering possibilities.

Consider that Falin and Laios are both ride or die. Add Laios' interest in monsters. Scramble timelines, dash with plot devices...

...anyway. I want Chimera Falin and Chimera Laios accompanying/being controlled by Thistle. It could be fun!

In Venomous Naruto: Naruto is the only one to pass the bell test.

Not only does he know about it from Orochimaru, know the true meaning behind the test, but for all that he does not excel at book learning to test taking his practical skills are far above the average academy graduate. (They have to be with the deadly games he and his siblings play. Have to be to follow his mother’s every step like an excited kit. Have to be to even begin to touch the ocean of chakra in him that sometimes makes his skin feel too tight if he doesn’t use enough.)

So after he tries to tell the others about the truth of the test, tries to get them to listen to him so they could all win together, and only gets left behind as a result Naruto eventually shrugs.

If they won’t work with him, if they would leave their teammate behind, then they weren’t much of a team were they?

It’s not like he needs other people to be a team. Not when he can summon his shadow clones. Not when mother and his siblings had each passed their knowledge along to make sure their littlest monster could hold his own in a cruel world. Not when he could sometimes manage to land a hit on Anko or Tenzo when they were play fighting.

So Naruto makes two clones, readies his fans and senbon, and launches his own attack.

He gets the bells, sweating and panting, and turns from Kakashi before he can say anything to throw them at the feet of his supposed team mates, slitted blue eyes barred on them and his fangs flashing in challenge.

“You passed because I’m letting you. Because I’m not stupid enough to leave my team behind. Because the whole point of this was to work together.”

He leaves. Two bells glinting in the dust at his teammates feet. His teacher not bothering to stop him as he glared at his two remaining students. Naruto goes home, finds his mother pouring over a book in the afternoon sun, and collapses against him with a sob as the frustration and hurt reach their height now that he was in the safety of his home.

He wishes he had been put on a team with Shino instead.

when you listen to hayama-san perform batfs, you can hear that he intentionally adjusts his key to better harmonise when he’s singing with sakakihara-san or takeuchi-san, and he even does this when recording songs, like in united emceez he was recording after ichiro’s parts so he made sure matched well with him and idk how to explain that’s such a kuukou thing for him to do but it is a very kuukou thing of him to do lol
