The Right Person at the Wrong Time - A Reflection on Timing and Connection
All our lives, we have heard stories that involve the right person turning up at the wrong time. This concept is jarringly alarming because it layer-peels the facade of finding the right individual in regard to love, connection, or relationship. This indicates, if explained better, that two people fitting for each other might fail to emerge when the various elements of life are against their coming together.
What does it even mean to meet the right person at the wrong time?
The Complexity in Timing
Timing is an invisible force that shapes the connections we make, often in ways of which we are barely aware. You might meet your dream person, that person who checks all the boxes or sees the world through a filter instituted by your soul. But with you not being emotionally available, probably still recovering from injuries of the past, or perhaps in the middle of some personal crisis, such connection might just not blossom. On the other hand, it could be them who is dealing with troubles at this stage, which means they cannot also be fully present.
This is extra challenging because, by nature of things, there is tension between what we feel and what reality presents. There is almost something tragic in the beauty of having found someone incredible but at the wrong time. You're forced, then, to think that love and connection are about more than logical matches, but two lives crossing at a certain point where access and readiness are aligned.
The 'What If' Paradox
That is the question that will haunt when the right person shows up at the wrong time: What if things were different? It's such a haunting thought, and then you are left to wonder how, in some other world, maybe it would have worked between the two of you. You have a vision of how this might have been the case with another chapter of your life. You could run yourself into sleepless nights with 'what ifs' and yearn for something that may never be resolved.
But harboring such questions in one's mind forever would render living in the present light of day an impossibility. It is very human to reflect on the paths not taken, but living in the country of 'what ifs' blinds you to the new opportunities staring you in the face.
Growth, Timing, and Readiness
It might be that meeting the right person at the wrong time sometimes serves a great purpose. Sometimes such experiences will teach us more about ourselves, or perhaps are a reflection of where we need to grow or what we need to let go of to be truly ready for a meaningful connection in the future. Other times, the person you meet is but a mirror reflecting the work yet to be done on yourself.
That person may remind you that deep love is deserved by you, even if at the time that is not fated to be with them. They may provide a catalyzing agent that impels you to align your life through means that serve to better prepare you in the future for a relationship be it with them or someone else.
Embracing Imperfection
One of the most painful things we may learn is that imperfection meets us around every corner in life, and love is no different. Yes, even when we think we have found that person who fits every category on our ostensibly perfect list, it's not as if the universe necessarily plays a role in ensuring that all that lines up. That's just part of the mystery—and frustration—of being human.
But perhaps, other than cruel fate, that is the profound message: love is not about everything working out perfectly. It means the understanding that connections, no matter the depth, sometimes do not come out with fairy tales. It is about embracing the will-o'-the-wisps, beautiful moments for what they are and not necessarily needing them to last.
Moving Forward with Ease
So, what happens when you are in this situation? There isn't some simple answer to this proposition, nor is a one-size-fits-all solution for anything. Some can hold onto the hope that one day, in the future, the timing shall be right and the stars align. While others let go, realizing that even while a connection was powerful, yet it simply wasn't meant to be a permanent fixture in our lives.
Both are correct. The key is to move with elegance. Life, with all the moments of its unpredictability, is a journey that's really full of twists and turns. That person at the wrong time could have been one chapter in your story, but it need not define the whole narrative. Every experience in life adds to your growth, even the bittersweet ones.
Ultimately, the concept of meeting the right person at the wrong time invites us to consider what love, timing, and self-awareness are all about. It reminds us that not everything is about chemistry but about being prepared—about two people meeting at the crossroads of their journeys in life, ready to take that step together. And sometimes, such journeys are meant to meet only briefly, leaving an indelible mark but no permanent union. In those moments, we can only respectfully acknowledge the bond for what it was and know that each interaction—every human contact—is a part of our development and continues to shape us into who we are and who we will become.

The Date Game: Olympic Sport or Minefield?
Tumblr media
Dating, darling, is it an art or a game? And if it's a game, shouldn't it be an Olympic sport? Just picture it: all the guys I've dated, competing for the gold medal in... well, we'll get to that. But first, let's talk about the rules (or lack thereof).
Every game has rules, right? They make things more fun, more challenging, and help you understand the goal. But dating, my sweet summer children, has ZERO rules. It's like being dropped in the middle of the ocean with a blindfold and a paddleboard.
I have yet to receive a rulebook for the GAME, the game of love. (Is that even what we're playing?)
I don't know about you, but I don't think people go on dates to find love. In my experience, it's more about finding someone who isn't a total nutjob, a psycho, or a cheater (that last one is harder to spot than a fake Rolex).
Gay dating, in particular, is two guys trying to out-impress each other with the same, tired lies. During the date, everyone's Mr. Perfect: zero baggage, amazing exes, no drug problems, mental health? Aced it! Workaholic, but with a heart of gold. It all sounds too good to be true... and honey, it usually is.
Social media is partly to blame. We're all curating our "perfect" lives online, and some people are taking that facade offline. I've met guys who are living their Instagram fantasy IRL, and let me tell you, it's exhausting.
But that's not even the worst part. The thing that really gets me is that dating feels like a never-ending job interview. Think about it:
I apply for the job: Based on my carefully curated profile pics and witty bio.
I'm randomly selected for an interview: If my pics are cute enough and my bio doesn't sound like a serial killer's manifesto.
I go to the interview: AKA the date, where I put on my best performance and hope they don't notice I'm wearing Spanx.
Now, here's where it gets different: If I don't get the job, I'm still open to a little "consolation prize" (if you catch my drift). In the real world, you don't sleep with your HR manager after a failed interview. But in the dating game? Anything goes.
So yes, I downloaded Tinder, took some flattering selfies, and crafted a bio that would make Shakespeare jealous. And you know what? It's been... interesting. Expect a full report in my next post, including tales of awkward Grindr encounters, unexpected hookups, and maybe even a happy ending (or two).
Ps. We're in 2024can we normalize sex on the first date (or soon after)? Why is this still taboo? Sex is important in any relationship, romantic or otherwise, and it's weird that we don't talk about it more openly. Let's be real, we need to talk about sex, learn about it, and teach it without shame or judgment. This starts with looking inward and seeing our lives (and desires) with fresh eyes. Sex isn't dirty or ugly; it's a natural form of energy and connection. I want to know if the person I'm dating matches my energy in all ways, including sexually.
Stay tuned, my loves! And remember, always swipe right for yourself first.
Cheers,
Caesar

🗓️ Organizing Your Witchy Rituals 🌙✨
Hello darlings 🥰
It is easy to feel overwhelmed by all the witchy things you’d like to do, so creating a schedule for your witchy rituals can bring structure and balance to your practice. Here's a suggested weekly timetable to inspire you:
🌕 Monday: Moon Magic On Mondays, align your practice with the energy of the moon. Perform rituals for manifestation, divination, or connecting with your intuition. Charge and cleanse your crystals under the moonlight.
🌿 Tuesday: Herb and Plant Magic Dedicate Tuesdays to working with herbs and plants. This can involve creating herbal remedies, growing your magical herb garden, or connecting with the spirit of plants through meditation and nature walks.
🔥 Wednesday: Elemental Magic Explore the power of the elements on Wednesdays. Work with fire for transformation, air for communication and clarity, water for emotions and intuition, and earth for grounding and stability. Incorporate rituals that honor and connect with each element.
🔮 Thursday: Divination and Spellcasting On Thursdays, focus on divination and spellcasting. Use tarot cards, oracle decks, or other divination tools to gain insight and guidance. Perform spellwork to manifest your desires and bring positive change into your life.
✨ Friday: Self-Care and Enchantment Fridays are dedicated to self-care and enchantment. Take time to pamper yourself with magical baths, create sacred spaces, or explore beauty rituals that enhance your inner and outer radiance. Practice self-love and self-empowerment spells.
🌟 Saturday: Spirituality and Connection Saturdays are perfect for deepening your spiritual practice and connecting with the divine. Engage in meditation, explore different spiritual traditions, work on your energy healing techniques, or perform rituals to connect with your spirit guides or ancestors.
📚 Sunday: Study and Reflection Use Sundays for studying and reflecting on your magical path. Dive into books, online resources, or courses that expand your knowledge of witchcraft, spirituality, or esoteric subjects. Journal about your experiences, insights, and personal growth.

Midnight Resolutions
I'll whisper this vow into the breeze, making certain it carries on in the safekeeping of the wind's arm, until it strikes your ears. I'm being drained... more surely than slow. I am using up what emotions I have. Meager as they are, they have kept me alive up to now. Yet, this black hole is ripping from me the energy to repair. So I shall leap in after it in deliberate delirium, and make certain that I take back what I hold as my own. In this resolve I now stand atop a hill gazing at the sky. At twilight's side with pen of fire writing my message in the stars... so everyone can look upon the midnight hour of my heart.

The power of being a HUMAN
Hello my friends 🙏☺️❤️
Sometimes the world seems deeply unfair. People often focus on punishment, guilt, and justice, not realizing they cause even more misery. In psychology, there's a famous triangle: attacker-victim-and the savior. People who save might become the victim of the victim and the attacker of the attacker.
We all are mobile, shifting between these roles throughout our lives.Between black and white, we have all the colors of the rainbow. We're all complicated beings, having both light and shadows of our own. We move along various scales in life - between being a victim, savior, or aggressor; between shadow and light; between justice and compassion; between self-acceptance and self-hate.The solution is being compassionate, firstly inwards to yourself. You might feel anger, jealousy, fear and disgust - congratulations, YOU ARE A HUMAN.
It's so hard to accept the pain that our reality and world is full of... And the temptation to divide into right and wrong, those who should suffer and those who shouldn't... But the truth is that no one should be punished or suffer. As the beautiful African proverb says: "The child who is not embraced by the village will burn it down to feel its warmth". 🔥
No child, no animal, no group, no patient, no member, no friend should be left alone... The healing of the individual is the healing of society. The healing of a nation is the healing of the world.
It's true, this path isn't easy. It's unknown. But from 300,000 years of human existence, if we choose to believe the theory of science - for more than 99% of humankind's life span we lived in harmony with life and nature. Only in the last 1% of time have we developed so much that we forgot our roots... But the roots of harmony and compassion are always there, therefore we can remember them whenever we're ready to look beyond the known.
Let's explore new paths of life, as individuals full of mutual solidarity - and as groups and humankind. We all are one, this life is short, let's make it the best lives possible for as many people as possible.
Thank you for reading ❤️❤️

✨ 5 things I wish I had known about tarot before starting 🔮
When I first began exploring the world of tarot, I didn’t realize how many lessons would change the way I see things. Here’s what I wish I had known back then:
1️⃣ You don’t need to be “psychic,” but it takes effort: Reading tarot isn’t a mystical gift reserved for a few. It’s a journey that requires inner listening and dedication. Each card holds unique symbolism, a story that reveals deep meanings. The more time you spend studying and practicing, the more in tune you become with your deck.
2️⃣ There’s no “wrong” way to interpret the cards: The cards speak to your intuition. The key is trusting the feelings that arise when you look at them. No one can tell you you're wrong, because the message is meant for you and only you.
3️⃣ The cards don’t predict the future, but they help you explore possibilities and choices: Tarot isn’t a magic wand to see what will happen, but a mirror for your present. It helps you gain clarity, reflect on possibilities, and glimpse paths you might not have considered.
4️⃣ It’s important to connect with your deck: A tarot deck isn’t just a set of cards. It’s a tool that becomes part of you. Keep it close, shuffle it often, and take good care of it. The connection you create with your deck is unique, and it’s what makes the readings deeper.
5️⃣ Practice is everything: The more you read, the more you grow. It’s not just about understanding the cards, but also discovering yourself along the way. Every reading, whether for yourself or someone else, is an opportunity to learn and improve.
✨ What about you? What have you learned from your tarot journey? Reblog with your thoughts or leave me a message 🌙💌 Follow me for more reflections

Finding Your Philosophy
Life throws us into a kaleidoscope of challenges, paradoxes, and questions. From ancient thinkers to modern philosophers, humanity has tried to craft paths through this maze of existence. Whether you’re someone who laughs at the absurd, seeks higher meaning, or builds resilience in the face of chaos, one thing is clear: philosophy offers us tools to navigate the world. The question is—which one do you follow?
Absurdism: Dancing with the Chaos
Absurdism is the wild child of philosophy, championed by Albert Camus. It’s about accepting the universe’s lack of inherent meaning while embracing life with gusto. Imagine standing at the edge of the void and saying, “Sure, nothing matters, but I’m here for the ride!” This philosophy celebrates rebellion against despair and finding joy in the small, fleeting moments.
Absurdism resonates with those who thrive on irony, contradiction, and humor. If you’ve ever laughed at life’s unpredictability or found peace in its chaos, you may already be living absurdly.
Existentialism: Writing Your Own Script
Existentialism invites us to take the pen and write our own story. Thinkers like Jean-Paul Sartre and Søren Kierkegaard argued that while the world might not provide meaning, we can. It’s all about freedom, choice, and responsibility.
Do you believe in forging your own path, even if it’s difficult? Existentialism might appeal to your inner adventurer, urging you to seek authenticity and purpose in a world that refuses to hand them to you.
Stoicism: Mastering the Inner World
Stoicism is the philosophy of calm within the storm. Ancient figures like Marcus Aurelius and Seneca preached that while we can’t control external events, we can control our reactions. By focusing on what’s within our power, we cultivate inner peace and resilience.
If you value discipline, logic, and detachment from the chaos of emotions, Stoicism might be your guiding light. It’s the philosophy for those who find strength in steadying their mind against life’s tempests.
Utilitarianism: The Greater Good
Utilitarianism asks: What brings the most happiness to the most people? Championed by Jeremy Bentham and John Stuart Mill, it’s the philosophy of practical ethics. If you value results over intentions and prioritize societal welfare, this could be your creed.
Nihilism: Rejecting the Script
For the Nihilist, nothing holds inherent value—not morality, not life, not meaning. It’s often seen as dark and pessimistic, but at its heart, Nihilism challenges us to strip away illusions and confront the truth.
Do you find meaninglessness liberating? If so, Nihilism could be your framework for understanding existence—or rejecting it entirely.
Idealism: The Pursuit of Perfection
Idealism looks to the stars. This philosophy emphasizes ideas, consciousness, and the potential for perfection. Thinkers like Plato believed the material world is just a shadow of the true, ideal reality.
Do you dream of higher truths, art, or unshakable principles? Idealism might align with your tendency to see potential beyond what’s immediately visible.
So, What About You?
Each philosophy offers its own lens on life. Some embrace the chaos, others impose structure. Some find solace in detachment, others in engagement. The beauty of these perspectives is that none are truly exclusive; life’s too complex for just one set of rules.
But here’s the question:
Which philosophy guides you the most?
Are you an Absurdist who dances with chaos? A Stoic who thrives on resilience? Or perhaps an Existentialist forging meaning in the void?
Let’s talk about it in the comments—I’d love to hear your thoughts!

The First Photo After a Year and Seven Months in Prison
Tumblr media
The first photo after a year and seven months in prison feels different. The world after a year and seven months in prison feels different. Even though I kept up with the outside world through TV and newspapers, the world outside isn’t the same. After a year and seven months, when I was released from prison, I didn’t know who had arrived, who had left. I didn’t know what was new, what was old, what was trending. Honestly, I still don’t know, even after eight months of freedom.
It feels like I was frozen in time while the whole world kept turning. People, of course, continued with their lives, while I was stuck there, in prison. The feeling of being smaller, of being lesser than everyone else, gnawed at me and left deep scars until I had to fight and confront myself. I had to rethink everything I knew about prison. Not everyone sees it the same way, but I needed to find some kind of beauty in that experience, because I lived it so intensely that it had to mean something.
In the early days, I thought I was going to lose my mind, that I was going to lose everything. So, I had to start working on myself. I began developing myself personally. I read every book on personal growth I could find. I took every online course I could. I re-learned high school material. I understood that the most important thing about being in prison was what I was going to do with it, and I decided that I was going to make the best of it.
I did yoga naked in a cell. I danced naked in a cell. I made friends, told jokes until late at night, laughed until my stomach hurt. I cried many times. I slept hungry, woke up thirsty. My privacy was ripped away, exposed, shattered. I was diminished, dehumanized. I fought for rights and realized, most of the time, it wasn’t worth it. I translated documents in Portuguese, English, Spanish, and French. I worked on immigration cases. I wrote every day. I taught classes. I exercised. I did and lived the best I could in that situation.
I think that’s why I don’t feel ashamed to say I was in prison, that I was incarcerated. Because sometimes people don’t see it the same way, and that’s okay. As I tell everyone, prison was the worst and the best lesson of my life.
