And once again, the Drow Secret Satan 2024 is upon us! Seventeenth Secret Satan event, and seventh drow-themed one.

The DSS2024 is a Secret Santa-like art trading event with a TTRPG topic. This one is themed around drow, dark elves (in all their flavours), and other underground / Underdark ancestries (like duergar, deep gnomes, etc). We also allow other flavours of edgy elves, like shadar-kai and such. It isn't limited just to DnD or Pathfinder- Any setting that has anything fitting the bill is good to go!

To enter, fill this form! It also all has the rules for the event. Inscriptions will be open until 29 of December, and mails will be sent on 30 of December. Pictures will be due for 24 of January.

It's also a bit emotional for me to run this one, since next year we will change the line up and we won't have a drow-only event any longer. Anyhow, if you have any questions about the event, please DM me! Shares are much appreciated, we always have people finding out a bit too late about the event

My gift for @mathpope from a recent discord “secret Santa” art exchange! I give you the great California Condor, king of North American vultures, lording over a megafaunal feast.

Some notes on the border art: the tree branch flourishes up top depict bristlecone trees, another unique Pleistocene holdover that clings to existence in remote parts of California. The insects in the curve of the mammoth tusks are condor lice (Colpocephalum californici), a parasite that fed exclusively on California condors and went extinct when the 22 birds left in existence were captured and de-loused for the breeding program to save their species. The woven art on the sides depicts two indigenous myths about condors, left side as a beneficial entity, saving humanity from a primordial flood (Wiyot), and right side as a bloodthirsty antagonist that gets beheaded by Ground Squirrel (Mono). The bones overhead (mammoth, moose, horse) are all Pleistocene megafauna that the condor would have been specialized in feeding on.

Zahndrekh thought that it would be a great idea to throw a midnight tea party for some people who seem to need an opportunity to relax. Imotekh was not very much interested in the invitation, until he was befuddled by hearing that Orikan had been invited, and accepted? At which point he thought he might as well give it a shot.

And so the Sautekh emotional support club was formed.

While Mac is going crazy with the sugar, Coco and Sassyfrass are thinking about Chick Clucker, for me, He is (probably) the most sexiest imaginary friend in all Foster's Home, the one who created him is probably a child or teenager who secretly looked at an adult magazine, and who saw an article about a man who likes to flirt with women at parties. That's why he imagined a chicken that was muscular and attractive to women. I also imagine if Coco had more interest in the chicken than in the Lamp.

BTW, I watched that episode with my cousin, and I showed her that scene, I don't know what her reaction was, but it was entertaining to watch. although you don't like me, honestly

You know, that takes me back where I used have some older MP3 players before lost forever. Sad moment aside, it was nice to see Sammir listening to his Apple iPod and wired headphones even during this modern years. Still, you can’t lose some stuff from the 2000s of what makes it nostalgic.

Hey hello! I'm very happy to announce the Potluck Secret Satan 2024, third edition of it's kind, and sixteenth Secret Satan overall! With 207 participants last year, this has been one of the largest events I've run!

The Potluck is a Secret Santa-like art trading event with a TTRPG topic. While Dnd and Pathfinder are the main focus, you can join with any sort of TTRPG or RP character. Inscriptions will be open until 8 of October, and all mails will be sent on 9 of October.
