Question of the day. Would flayers use an equivalent of cat scratching pole? To like sharpen their nails. Maybe it would be called a scratching pillar? I think that might be needed in communal spaces, so that no one accidentally scratches up somebody else’s turf.

Found something in the bushes. Thought it was a dead leaf at first. But then it stared back at me.

Found them again later that day. Got to hear from a neighbor that they are a flayed one. Apparently they are quite good pest control and I have a currently a bit of a silverfish problem. We became friends quite quickly, and when I welcomed them into my house they immediately began to hunt the little fishes. I am going to try and see if they are interested in joining my little flock. 

First impressions went good 👍 

They have now officially been welcomed into the squad.

Drunk articulation warning

I was thinking of how Anrakyrs theme is icey colurs and that he is kind of like an iceberg.

And I resently watched Cosmo Cheldrake music video for Old osen, and I was like” this is what Anrakyr would sound like if he melted into the ocean.

And then I daw him in something resembling the video costume designs because I wand the mental transformation to be visible.

He actually looks like a flyer but instead of flesh it’s plants

I got an anonymous ask where they called it an ✨scratching obelisk✨ and I 100% condone this name suggestion. I am definitely going to have to illustrate this concept at some point, so stay tuned for that. But keep in mind that my schedule for posting is InCOnsisTENt, to put it lightly.

Doing a little art dump again.

I want to sketch out what Sannet looks like to me. And then I did the scene where Szeras shows up at solomnec in the silence and the storm.

The second image is just me goofing off, trying to find the way I like to draw Thaszar. My desire for putting necrons in pretty little dresses can never be quenched.

I had a hard time visualizing the clothes in Ghosts, other fanfic. So I just decided to illustrate them myself.

Below that one is a sketch of Obyron taking a nap on Nep’s chest ass the others are goofing around.

These two are very old and as you can clearly see unfinished. The first one is supposed to be the scene in severed where obyron and Zahndrekh are trying to figure out the riddle puzzle to get in to the core.

And the other one I made when the silence and the storm had a particular chapter released that made me emotional to the point of tears for the first time. Thanks Ghost 🫠👍

First one is just a reference I did for Imothk and the other one is my OC Cachet, they are a bit of a fashion geek. Don’t worry about the other fella up in the corner, they are now long gone, hopefully.

And down here below we have our favorite battle fleet armada necrons. I never got to see their full bodies in the play through of the game I saw, so I made the executive decision to try and imagine what their whole bodies look like on my own. I imagine Amarakun being pretty normal and uninteresting down there. And I decided that Zaa secretly has a little tail under a big skirt. Because as everyone know, all astromancers are cats to some degree.
