Here we go again...rooting for the second lead like our lives depend on it.
TBH, their story is so much more interesting, like we are each other's fate. Even when people tried so hard to keep us apart, we found each other.
She knows who he is and still can't reveal herself. Pretty sad.
The main lead's track feels so forced. Young Dae is cute with all his jealousy and all but dude! Back off.
You can literally ask anyone to be with you. You put hold on every eligible women to get married just because you are single. So please, let them be together, they're finally able to find each other, in such a fateful way.

Writing Wednesday: Meet the 2nd Lead
I read a lot of pieces still under development by young authors and something I see missed, over and over again, is the use of secondary characters. A good secondary character can be as well-loved (or better loved) than the MC! I can point anyone to quite a few very well-written Korean Dramas that show how to use that second lead to its fullest. In fact, among K-Drama viewers in the US, we call…

Ford really had that romance book main character moment.
He had the option of a supportive, mostly green flag best friend pining for him secretly and a toxic red flag bad boy demon who has charisma.
Of course he fell in love with the toxic red flag bad boy demon who has charisma.
Even Stanford Pines can't resist the bad boys.

Second Lead Couples Are Apparently My Jam Now...
Hey all! I hope you're all doing well and have had a glorious start to the new week!
Recently I have been watching a few dramas and realised that I have found myself becoming more invested in the second lead couples than the main leads. I don't know why this is - I just root for them more! It seems that in recent shows the second leaders slap harder and give off better first lead vibes - has anyone else noticed this? 🤨
As of late I have been watching 'Love Is For Suckers' and oooh let me tell you this is such a great show! And as much as I love the romance between Goo Yeo-Reum and Park Jae-Hoon, I am more invested in the budding side romance of Chef John Jang and Park Ji-Wan. Even though I haven't finished the series yet I can honestly say I think these two are my fave side couple yet! Park Ji-wan in my opinion is the embodiment of walking sunshine, her character is so adorable!
I did however, find myself hating Chef John at the start of the show, I thought his attitude stunk and didn't want him to do well at all - I didn't want his character to find love after the way he treat Yeo-Reum, I was shouting "boo boo to you sir!" every time he appeared on the screen...
Tumblr media
But here is why the writing of this show is so good, as the drama progresses and he starts spending more time with Ji-Wan, Chef John starts to undergo a character arc and *gasp* he becomes actually a really nice person! I went from yelling boo at the screen to going 'Aww what a sweet man!' I for one was not predicting this development!
Tumblr media
I have two episodes left and I can't wait to see what happens between the two of them! Eeek! I'm way to emotionally invested in this side couple!
Question: What drama second lead couples are you more invested in than the main couples? Other than the one mentioned above my other choice would have to be Jin Young-Seo and Cha Sung Hoon from Business Proposal. What do you think everyone? Which second leaders stole your hearts and from which drama?

I did a molding and metal melting lab today and when returning home after class, my twin took the little metal smiley face that I so lovingly made and filed down and immediately asked me “is this made out of lead?”
Then, without waiting for a response immediately put it into her mouth, spit it out, went “Well, it’s mainly lead acetate that’s sweet so I don’t really know if it’s lead or not”
AND THEN PUT IT IN HER MOUTH A SECOND TIME TO CHECK
i mean, it’s not lead but I didn’t even get the time to say that before she popped it into her mouth D:

logan sargeant take a fucking bow. my guy was basically driving a last-minute science project thrown together the night before the deadline and he managed to defend from YUKI TSUNODA for over half the 72 lap race?? while yuki was in drs range for over half of that time? i mean he’s driving a completely new car basically between everything that’s been replaced and salvaged and upgraded and he hasn’t had a single SECOND of practice. the formation lap was his only chance to get a feel for whatever they fuck they put him in this time and not only did he not spend a single lap in last (correct me if i’m wrong but not from hat i saw) but he basically pulled a magnussen and turned into a brick wall for drivers behind him who not only have much better cars but also have been some of the only points contenders among all the back marker teams?

Seems like the writer never met a Flight Steward before or just didn't bother to research their profession.
Certain jobs literally change the person and how they portray themselves out there. Their lifestyle, body language, personality, and many more aspects of their life have to be aligned with their jobs. Armed forces, airline services, and fashion models are such jobs, to name a few.
Their arduous training and jobs set them apart.
Shin Na Eun, her friend, was completely the opposite of what one would expect an air hostess to be. Way too timid, easy to be startled, loud, and not at all a person who has travelled a lot and seen the world.
I understand Kim Ji Hoon's character is supposed to leave people surprised, as he is too hot to be a CEO. But the lady we have here, should have seen such handsome faces day in and out. That over-the-top smitten reaction of hers felt so out of place. Girl! Have you not seen those hot male Stewards? Or those prim and proper pilots? What about airport crushes? I'm not objectifying people working in the airline industry, but this person should have seen a fair bunch of handsome and pretty people, given her background. Her job doesn't allow her luxury to get flustered so easily. Sitting there, with her tongue tied was a big no.
Her financial struggles were also hard to digest.
Well, I think I have to pardon this silly small detail, when we have a bigger issue to cry about. A very sad, lacking second-lead love story.
How could you commit such a sin?!
You had Kim freaking Ji Hoon with his luscious hair...you just wasted him sharing so many scenes with that yesteryear's star. They made Ji Hoon and Won Hee meet so damn late...!! Where is their meet-cute?! They totally deserved one.
Why would you deprive the audience of a richer second-lead love story, when your main leads were surely struggling to keep the story afloat? Why?

what is it with your story that people are always trying to find a love triangle in the routes? lmao
i kinda get it tbh i dont shy away from showing that other characters are attracted to the ROs but i mean what do you expect when playing with a cast like this lmahxsksjs but it doesnt mean that it means anything deeper in the greater narrative
😭hopefully it comforts people that i absolutely hate love triangles. it is my most behated thing in literature i avoid reading books with love triangles i avoid watching movies with love triangles i (mostly) avoid writing love triangles they're just not for me !!!
