Out of all the Blue Lockers, Chigiri is probably the only one who would choose you over football. It's not unknown to anybody who looks close enough that even people like Nanase or Isagi would toss aside someone if it came to their dream. That's simply the nature of Egoists and those that persist in Blue Lock. Even if they are kind and generous off the field, nothing will ever take the place of their dream. Yet Chigiri with all his boldness, confidence and outright selfishness can take one look at all of that and still choose you at the end of it. He's seen what it's like to lose his dream, lose his passion. He knows intimately what it's like to lose everything and be left a husk. Yet in the face of that, he has learned a lot. He's learned that even if he loses his dream, he is still loved regardless and he can always find other ways to nurture his dream. He's learned there are other paths if it truly comes down to it. Football means a lot to him but he is willing to sacrifice it if he has to. After all, he already has a time limit, right?

so i was complaining talking to my dad about the suffering that is the renewal void, and he agreed that it would be a bit nonsensical for max to-

push physical merch on their site

create a bunch of custom icons for users on their site

put so much effort into marketing s2, to the point of putting spots on tv, hanging up gigantic billboards, and spreading teasers all across social media

-if they had no intention to see the show all the way through.

which was ✨validating✨ coming from an outside party, because it's something i've been thinking this whole time. now, granted, i don't trust streaming services, and stranger things have happened, buuuuut idk. it really seems like there's a part of them that realizes ofmd is a large, important property to them, but we shall seeeeeee,,,

Everyone in the trailer announcement has varied reactions to reading the pamphlet, but Eloise, Colin, Cressida, Danbury and Penelope all raise their eyebrows knowingly, which is a crazy coincidence given that they are the key players in Romancing Mr. Bridgerton.

Is this Colin seeing Pen dancing with Debling and him starting to feel yearning and desire for her as more than just his friend? He sees them dancing, reminds himself that she’s wanting to find suitors, but something in him is nagging that it isn’t quite right and something is off about, whether it be Debling or his feelings… hence his watery eyes and look of almost resignation
