Okay, MAJOR SPOILERS for Jurassic World Chaos Theory Season 2 incoming haha. It's hard to pick just one, so here's a bunch:

Favorite scenes that made it to screen:

The sucho vs. hippo fight (Though sadly I didn't request this one for my demo real because most of the boards are not very pretty/had to be cleaned up by someone else due to time. These panels below are some of the few that look nice enough to show LOL. Originally in the script, there were TWO hippos we called Orson and Welles, but it was just too much going on in that little set, so the whole thing had to be reworked from scratch halfway through the boarding period. My director Mike Mullen and our revisionist Emma Gilles contributed a LOT to this sequence and made my hastily redone roughs actually legible for everyone, and added/refined more after I had to move on in the schedule)

Favorite scenes that were cut or significantly trimmed down:

Extended scene of Brooklynn feeding Gordon that introduced more of an idea of her having lingering PTSD around dinosaurs, while also highlighting more of the connection between her and Gordon sharing a limb difference. It was a more contemplative scene, but the episode hit 30 or 35 minutes in the initial cut and it could only be 22, so a LOT was cut in the Brooklynn episode (I also have permission to share all of this one, but again need to format it first)

Extended Kenji/Brooklynn break up scene- The first half is still there, which leads into what Rianna originally boarded in 104. A stupid detail I'm proud of- when Kenji leads Brooklynn up the mountain by hand, it's the last time anyone ever holds that hand (in that way). HOWEVER- there was originally a bit more past what Rianna did in 104 that showed how their dynamic/what they both wanted out of their relationship wasn't really in sync. Brooklynn tries to defend her actions to Kenji, but Kenji feels that her work has grown important to her than he is, and Brooklynn actually winds up being the person to say 'Fine, then let's break up!' Which I doubt she mentioned to Darius haha. Anyway, this was again cut because the episode was too dang long.

Originally based on Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman’s international best-selling novel,Good Omens 2 explores storylines that go beyond the original source material to illuminate the ineffable friendship between Aziraphale (Michael Sheen), a fussy angel and rare-book dealer, and the fast-living demon Crowley (David Tennant). Having been on Earth since The Beginning, and with the Apocalypse thwarted, the duo are getting back to easy living amongst mortals in London’s Soho. That is, until the archangel Gabriel (Jon Hamm) turns up unexpectedly at the door of Aziraphale's bookshop with no memory of who he is or how he got there. While Crowley is leery as to why the archangel has come to the bookshop, Aziraphale is keen to solve the mystery behind Gabriel’s condition. However, hiding the archangel from both Heaven and Hell quickly disrupts their lives in unforeseen ways. To solve this mystery and thwart Heaven and Hell in the process, the duo will need more than a miracle; they’ll need to once again rely on each other.

A mystery that takes us from before The Beginning, to biblical times, grave robbing in Victorian Edinburgh, the Blitz of 1940s England, all the way through to modern day, Good Omens 2 stars Michael Sheen and David Tennant as angel Aziraphale and demon Crowley, respectively. Also reprising their roles are Jon Hamm as archangel Gabriel, Doon Mackichan as archangel Michael, and Gloria Obianyo as archangel Uriel. Returning this season in new roles are Miranda Richardson as demon Shax, Maggie Service as Maggie, and Nina Sosanya as Nina, with new faces joining the misfits in Heaven and Hell: Liz Carr as angel Saraqael, Quelin Sepulveda as angel Muriel, and Shelley Conn as demon Beelzebub.

i generally use Evolve for coloring + shading, but i also like to switch things up sometimes. nothing fancy.

ed and stede are so wildly dysfunctional and that’s why i love them. people are complaining about the pacing of season two as if it isn’t wildly in character?? immediately upon meeting, ed stayed vigil at stede’s bedside staring intently at him and holding his hand. promptly after that they started doing weird shit like swapping clothes and stabbing each other. then ed gave up everything to save stede’s life and basically confessed his feelings to stede before kissing him and planning to run away together. stede then realized he was in love with ed, renounced his entire inheritance, and went out to sea searching for ed with nothing but a dinghy and the clothes on his back. this was in the span of a few weeks. of course they would reunite, forgive each other, kiss in the moonlight, decide to take things slow, have sex, and dramatically break up again over the course of a couple days. this is the most in character they’ve ever been.

Crowley stops dead in his tracks, his hand wrapped around the door knob with white, trembling knuckles, and closes his eyes.

There were nights, many nights, way more than there ever should have been, during which he traced the constellations in the night sky and imagined what it would be like to hear those words from his mouth. Whether he would say them softly, wrapping each one in gentleness, reverence, or hurried, afraid of who else might hear, terrified that this will be the last words ever spoken between them. If he was particularly drunk and particularly lonely, chasing after the feeling of Aziraphale's brushing over his wrist as they walked by each other in the comfortable mess of the bookshop, he imagined them as a slow drag of breath right next to his hear, a whisper not even God would be able to hear; a promise of worship.

In all of the fantasies, and that is what they were, nothing more than shameful imaginations Aziraphale could never know about, he said it back. Whispered it, screamed it, forced it out between sobs or kisses or panting breaths.

When Crowley opens his eyes again, uncried tears are clinging to his lashes.

Outside, the first splatters of rain are painting the sidewalk black and people hurry by, trying to escape the storm as the sky breaks in two. Within seconds, the steady drum of water against the window is louder than the noise of the traffic, louder than his heart's attempts to beat out of his ribcage and bare itself to him.

He cannot look at him.

It is his first thought and the only one that matters now, he cannot look at him or he will shatter like hot glass dropped in the snow, flying apart into thousands of tiny shards. Crowley tries to rip the image of violet eyes and his perfect fucking cupids bow out of his mind without success (he knows what it tastes like now, remembers tracing it with the tip of his tongue and opening his mouth with a hunger he has never felt before).

Swallowing his own, he listens to the familiar rhythm of Aziraphale's breath, undisturbed and distinctly human in a way that makes them too human to be real, his mouth opening and closing around unshaped replies.

The sidewalk is empty save for a handful of people diving for cover in the pub across the street, and for one precious, fragile moment, the world narrows down to an angel and a demon who watched the first storm rain down on Eden, a white wing held steadily above his head to keep him dry.

Crowley never asked why, and over the centuries, the question got lost in all the others piling up every time they met. He knows why, though, without needing to hear it from him, and it is not because Aziraphale already loved him back then or saw a pitiful creature in need of protection. The answer is so much simpler - he was being thoughtlessly kind because that is who he is.

He is being thoughtlessly kind now, too.

The tension drains from his knuckles and he presses his palm to the cold metal, settling back into a body that now recalls the taste of those three words in the air and yearns for nothing more than to taste them straight from his mouth.

Crowley pushes the door open and steps onto the sidewalk, his clothes clinging to his sharp angles as the rain drenches him completely within seconds, and then he walks home without a single look or word back.

Just wanted to belatedly say thank you to everyone who's interacted with my posts and been so nice about my silly pixels! I started documenting this neighbourhood in hopes it would motivate me to keep playing rotationally long-term, and it definitely has. I feel so lucky that there's still such an active and inspiring community around TS2, and that other people here might find my gameplay remotely worth following. Thanks for putting up with my nonsense y'all! 🥰

A summary of Brandon H Lee's new episode on Lone Lobos (with a few comments of my own)

• "Brandon, brother, you stole the show" YES!

• "I'm glad that you died" Well, I'm not, thank you, next question

• Basically the first part of the interview is Brandon telling how after part 2 dropped out people started recognizing him more on the street and how that was the moment he let the reality sink in that all the comments he'd seen on the internet were actually real people.

• Brandon's dad (Master Lee) also wanted to be an actor when he was younger, omg that's cute :')

• He said that one time he went out with him and they saw a few people that seemed to want a picture with Brandon, right? And so his dad started pushing him closer to the people 😂 like "go, take the picture"

• Interesting what Xolo said about Cobra Kai having and intergenerational fandom. It's so cool if you think about it.

• Jacob saying he wished Brandon was in more ComicCons before... Yeah :')

• Not Xolo taking the wrong train and being late for work because he started talking with a fan on that train 😂 (and the fan was on the wrong train and late for work too😂😂)

• Brandon casted in a short film. I repeat: BRANDON CASTED IN A SHORT FILM!

• I'M SORRY WHAT?? Xolo, Jacob, Brandon AND Peyton casted on the same movie (directed by Jacob)?? I'm fainting...

• Wait, Brandon is 26? I thought he was born in 1999 🤔

• When asked how is he looking at his acting career now that he's been in Cobra Kai, Brandon said that being in the series has shown him that he should keep embracing his martial artist background, since it's just as part of him as it is being Korean, it's basically in his blood. So he's interested in exploring this side of him while he's still young and his body allows him to.

• The boys talked about how navigating social media after Cobra Kai made them more recognizable is different in a way because the real them are still outside the screen but people develop kind of a parasocial relationship with them.  So basically they fight to find balance between present reality and social media reality, the "Miyagi Do way" 😂

• Jacob dragging the people who didn't believe him during press conferences when he spoiled 6 months before part 2 came out that someone died 😂

• They start talking about the death scene and Brandon says he was trying to justify in his mind why Kwon would pick up that knife in the first place......... "Even for someone like Kwon who is the epitome of Cobra Kai no mercy to grab a knife and try to use it is pretty... insane"............🤐

• So he kind of justified it in his mind (because the producers didn't give him backstory) in a way that Kwon felt really embarrassed that he was losing during the brawl in international tv.

• He says that the final shoot where Kwon dies wasn't the original plan. Axel was actually going to be fighting Yoon and then Kwon jumps in... Sorry, I didn't understand this part very well but I think not even Brandon understands it 😅

• Brandon doesn't even know how Cobra Kai ends in part 3. He hasn't seen any of the scripts 😅 (my poor man wasn't given ANYTHING, was he?) (I know this is to prevent leaks but still, poor Brandon 😂)

• Jacob made Brandon do a speech his last day of filming in front of everybody. Oh I wish someone had made a video in that moment 🤞🏻

• About how Jacob feels about Kwon being the first on screen death: "It felt like we were all at a really awesome sleepaway camp and one of my best friends from a different cabin had to go home early" 😭😭😭

• Meanwhile Xolo: "Why couldn't it have been Axel, man?" (Jk, ofc)

• Meanwhile Jacob freaking Bertrand: "It should've been Rayna, man" (WELL, YES, IF YOU MEAN ZARA MALIK)

• SPOILER FROM PART 3 by Jacob: Daniel is going to feel like "Fuck, I didn't get there" after Kwon's death (kind of obvious but still a little spoiler)

• Jacob asked Brandon which one of the actors amazed him with their stunts during filming. He said "everyone" because they have to learn the choreography the same day or the day before and still did amazing (aw <3)

• Robby and Kwon's final kick was all stunts, no machines to help them (love this from them, hardworkers 💪🏽)

• And talking about that fight. Brandon says it wasn't suppose to be like what we saw on screen. Robby was supposed to jump off of Hawk!!!! Hawk was going to offer Robby his knee discreetly for him to jump higher than Kwon and do a finishing blow that would knock him out. But the writers just changed it the day before (wtf). Brandon says this was because they didn't want Miyagi Do to cheat in any way, they wanted them to win fair and square (whyyyy? Just why? Where are the gray zones we loved so much in the first seasons of CK?? 😭)

• TANNER ACTUALLY WENT TO BRANDON EARLIER THAT MORNING TO SEE IF THEY COULD TALK TO THE WRITERS TO GET THE ORIGINAL FIGHT BACK 😭😭 (Tanner is my pal, he knows what's up) but they still said no to them 😭

• Sigh...

• They proceeded to talk about Brandon's stunts in the Shang Chi movie (which is absolutely amazing, btw, go see it if you haven't)

2024 Summary of Art

Including bonus Fargo version!

I struggled a LOT with my art this year, but I think I came out the other end a better artist. My style has changed quite a bit, favouring simpler shapes and thicker, softer brushes as opposed to my old inking style which was pretty much the opposite in every way LOL

I wanna say thanks to everyone for all the support this year despite the fact that I've mostly posted thing I'm not very proud of. It means a lot that people like my art whether I do or not :')

Happy new year everyone, and here's to a better 2025.

Did you miss the drama? CcJack joined the dsmp after he lost a bet with ccTubbo in a stream of You Laugh You lose and ccJack has to log onto the dsmp. he spawns in the prison next to the bench and calls Tommy to see if he can get OP to get out and be able to give a tour of the server but ccTommy doesn’t have op and they end up doing some lore instead, playing on the idea of how no one is around and it’s basically a ghost town and how they both miss the old times but also like dislike how cringe they were and who the old times were with. It’s bittersweet clearly fueled by real emotions they are feeling and real life events where Jack talks about being a gambler, something he says too before the lore and how he is terrible at Minecraft and much more likely to win gambling. This ends up in the chat lore implying he’s been gambling in Las Nevadas. In the chat they have, Tommy says something about having 1 life and how the nukes didn’t happened, likely trying to please his fans who hate the finale, but Jack insists they did so we are left with a loss or who to believe.

Some people, mostly the people who hate the finale, are saying this retcons the finales as Tommy says the nukes didn’t happen, but the rest of us disagree because some chat between two people a year after the dsmp is over shouldn’t undo the lore the other ccs worked hard on, as that’s pretty non consensual and disrespectful to their character’s and work... that’s a summary, feel free to see my other posts for more thoughts, clips and such.
