Going Global with Sesame Seeds: A Guide for Exporters on Meeting Rising Demands
Tumblr media
Sesame seeds, tiny powerhouses packed with numerous health benefits and culinary uses, have gained significant popularity in recent years. This surge in demand has presented a lucrative opportunity for exporters around the world. In this blog post, we will explore the factors driving the growing demand for sesame seeds and the potential opportunities for exporters to tap into this thriving market.
Health Benefits and Culinary Versatility
Sesame seeds have been an integral part of traditional medicine and cuisine for centuries. They are rich in essential nutrients like protein, fiber, healthy fats, vitamins, and minerals. These seeds contain antioxidants, which help combat oxidative stress and reduce the risk of chronic diseases. Sesame seeds also boost your immune system.
Furthermore, sesame seeds offer a versatile range of culinary applications. From sprinkling them on salads, blending them into dressings and sauces, to incorporating them into baked goods and confectioneries, sesame seeds add a delightful crunch and nutty flavor to various dishes.
Growing Demand for Plant-Based Foods
Sesame seeds are experiencing a surge in demand worldwide, thanks to the growing global emphasis on healthier living and plant-oriented diets. As individuals become more health-conscious, the natural nutritional benefits of sesame seeds make them an invaluable resource for vegetarians and vegans. As a result, they are extensively used in plant-based meat alternatives, energy bars, and protein powders.
International Cuisine Adoption
The increasing globalization of food culture has also contributed to the rising demand for sesame seeds. As consumers explore diverse culinary traditions, sesame seeds have become a staple ingredient in various international cuisines. Middle Eastern tahini, Asian sesame oil, and African halva are just a few examples of how sesame seeds are incorporated into traditional dishes worldwide. This widespread adoption of sesame seeds in different cuisines has opened new markets and opportunities for exporters.
Demand for Clean Label and Organic Products
In recent years, there has been a growing consumer preference for clean label and organic products. Sesame seeds naturally align with this trend as they are typically free from additives and preservatives. Moreover, the demand for organic sesame seeds has witnessed a significant upswing due to their perceived health benefits and environmental sustainability. Exporters who can cater to this niche market segment have the potential to tap into a high-value customer base.
Export Opportunities for Entrepreneurs
Exporters can leverage the growing demand for sesame seeds by focusing on several key strategies. Firstly, establishing strong relationships with local farmers and suppliers to ensure a consistent and high-quality supply of sesame seeds is crucial. Additionally, investing in state-of-the-art processing and packaging facilities will enhance the value proposition and attract discerning buyers.
Moreover, exporters should consider obtaining organic certifications to cater to the increasing demand for organic sesame seeds. Collaborating with international distributors and participating in trade fairs and exhibitions will enable exporters to showcase their products and connect with potential buyers on a global scale.

Friendly reminder that the marshmallow+butter mix used for rice crispy mix can hold six cups of about anything.
Granola Bar Recipe
1 bag marshmallows
1/4 butter
3 cups toasted oats
2 cups toasted nuts
1 cup rice crispies (keeps it from being too dense)
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Follow same steps as the traditional rice crispy recipe. Wait to add chocolate chips until mostly cool but still sticky to keep from melting

[230316] — Weverse post update by 🐰 JungKook:
🐰: - bulguri* recipe -
heat up approximately 650 ml to 680 ml of water in a frying pan, rather than a pot
before the water comes to a boil, put in an entire packet of buldak** sauce, for neoguri***, put in half the powder seasoning and the flakes (buldak flakes will be for last)
when the water comes to a boil, put in the noodles and boil them
and while checking on the noodles well, boil down the broth
if it’s salty you can put in more water
and lastly put in the buldak flakes, and seasame seeds if you have, and if you also have perilla oil as well pour a reasonable amount
this is really delicious
im not hacked heh heh
<i wanted> armys to try eating this too … i just ate <this> …

I love food so much, seasame seed chicken is my all time favorite and I like spicier versions of it but sweet ones are good too, as for healither foods then chicken salad with goat cheese and a bunch of fruit with newmann's own raspberry walnut vinaigrette which is highly specific but its really good maybe I should give a recipe. Dark chocolate all the way, eclairs and gum if that counts. Drinks werent included, gonna put them here anyways, lemon water is always good, apple juice and Bai drinks.
That was a lot lol. Anyways shoes. I love heels. Love them. Monster heels specifically. Steve Madden is amazing for basic pretty ones and they mostly come in either bedazzled rhinestone or faux shiny leather. Gianni Bini has a lot more variety in their types of shoes, though they have a lot of heels as well and most are made with fabric and have bows on them. I walk in them easily but take note that I did ballet and assorted dance for almost ten years.
Pink, purple is a close second

Ingredients:
300g boneless, skinless chicken breast or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
150g cooked rice
1 can (20 oz) pineapple chunks, drained, reserve juice
1 medium onion, chopped
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a small bowl, whisk together the reserved pineapple juice, soy sauce, honey, cornstarch, and paprika. Set aside.
In a large pan or wok, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until browned on all sides, about 4-5 minutes.
Add the onion and garlic to the pan and cook until they are tender, about 2-3 minutes.
Stir in the pineapple chunks and the prepared sauce. Cook until the sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
Serve the chicken and pineapple mixture over a bed of cooked rice and some seasame seed, if desired. Enjoy!

🍏 : Etsumi packs Thursday's lunch for the day.
It's a hokaben bento! There's a section of rice with a few seasame seeds on top. In the other compartments, there's seaweed sheets, some teriyaki chicken, yakiniku, a few pieces of salmon nigiri and even a few rolls of different types of sushi! Finally, there's a little hot thermos that's filled with miso soup.
On top of the box of food, there are two little notes. One is from Etsumi, that simply says "Enjoy! ♡". The other note is hard to read, but it comes from Miyuna. It says "Come back to Kamurocho soon! Love you ♡".
[ @kamurocho-dreams / Etsumi Sugihara ]
Thursday sits there looking at the bento with several thoughts crossing her mind:
Someone packed a lunch for her. Uaaaagghhh when was the last time someone did that?! Probably her mother, when she, Thursday, was still in elementary school.
The lunch looks delicious! And so much better for her than an entire bag of chocolate-covered espresso beans.
The lunch is adorable! Everything's in the little compartments and cut into shapes and all.
The notes fill her with joy. She is loved. She is loved.
And how this man gonna be making her a lunch box when he's the one who's stressed at work all the time?!
Oh she's gonna eat every last bite of this and pay him (and Miyuna!) back somehow.
But before she does that, she takes out her phone and sends off a text to him:
Thank you for the bento! This all looks amazing and it's so cute! Of course I'll come back to Kamurocho. Whenever is a good time, let me know and I'll be there. <3

‘Ingen no Goma’ is my new favorite affordable & quick meal. Seasame seeds and soy sauce might be expensive the first time if you have to buy it just for that, depending where you live, but it will last a few dishes since you don’t need that much of it. Fits well with some chicken, other meat or fish 👌
