i genuinely need people to realise that when they shift they will be the person they scripted.

when you shift you will live out those experiences and they will shape you out to be the person you are in that reality. that person is actually you

there’s nothing inherently wrong with scripting you had a specific sort of life that’s nothing like your own now. big or small chances idc but istg sm shifters make ocs instead of an actual person

but for a second think about it. is that smth you actually, genuinely, whole heartedly want for urself?

Kylar (whispering to Kim): Told you he was weird.

Tim (hearing him): I am weird, aren’t I? I hope I don’t get my gay all over you. Let me just walk off and lock myself in my office and cry.

Tim walked away, fake crying, much to Kylar's anger. Kim rolled her eyes at Tim as well, and the two walked off, continuing to talk badly about him.

Amy: Tim, you okay?

Tim: Yep, this isn’t my first time facing that reaction. You learn how to handle it.

Amy sighed in understanding and nodded.

So i found an extremely interesting commment on bilibili from someone who had bought and read the entire og lhl script and also watched the show

translation: ask the director, so much fluff got deleted…. the script was filled with so much ship content, better than a lot of danmei novels i’ve read. In the later periods it was a solid reciprocal relationship, xiaobao was so top energy, and xiaohua really liked to sajiao (playing cute). When xh when to explain to xb that he didn’t kill his dad his first sentence was “i’m sorry i betrayed your trust, i was wrong okay?”. when xb went to save xh from the palace, xh was tortured for information and xiaobao helped him dress his wounds, and also broke the hand of the man who hurt him. xb felt so bad for him he started crying and xh started to sajiao “i’m very glad that you came to save me, but look (waves handcuffs), i had it under control” xiaobao also asked “how are you” xiaohua replied that shan gudao went to the palace to find the mother bug and xiaobao replied “i was asking how your wounds were”…… also when xiaobao broke out of the trap improving his original swordplay his opponent wasn’t qi mushan but li xiangyi….lastly when xiaobao gave xiaohua his qi xiaohua’s internal monologue was “the world only wants the all knowing, all capable, godlike li xiangyi, but at least someone still insists on treating me like the normal person li lianhua, that is enough” it’s all gone i’m so mad

I personally like the changes in episode 6 because we have seen what happens in the books and the movies but with this new take even hardcore pjo fans get to experience suspense i mean we get to experience something new! idk why some people are mad they are taking creative liberties with the show like why would u want to watch the same thing take place for the third time?? and especially when the creator of the series is the one altering the plot to have it better suited to this gen

my opinion: it’s better to have very few, preferably one dr, that you focus on instead of multiple ones just to be there.. it’s helpful to find a dr that feels like home because at the end of the day you have to actually live in it. your dr is real. you are real. it’s just like here.

gonna get perhaps a little controversial for this site and say i think it's generally kind of a weird move to be proud of yourself simply for not liking something.

if you are boycotting a work for political reasons and it brings you some measure of peace or clarity to critique its messages, by all means go ahead; that isn't what i'm talking about.

but patting yourself on the back just for not deriving the happy chemicals from a potential source for them, in this world so full of pain and struggle, where sometimes it seems like we all have to fight to enjoy anything in the first place...why?

all of that said, i think i would care about the superbowl more if it had clearer dramatic stakes and better dialogue.

hate people bashing on the term minishifting so much sometimes omg. i FULLY and COMPLETELY understand the sentiment of it and how it usually is used to downplay people and their shifting successes, but idk i like the term. especially cuz im a permashifter. like if i shift for an hour or something before coming back that’s still a minishift to me because a full shift would be a lifetime. idk i hope i don’t sound too evil for this
