something about s1-3 zane is just. oh this guy is so silly and friend-shaped. look at his friendly boy swag. like????? how could you ever hate him. the ultimate silly

not to hate on his titanium era because frankly it is very cool. but the essence of s1-3 zane is unique and uncapturable. he is just a little guy you can put in your pocket. his default facial expression is so inherently funny. there are no thoughts behind these eyes. i would trust him with my life.

this year as a lando fan while it’s had its highs (it been great to witness everything he’s achieved) it’s been an absolute struggle more so than any other year, i’ve feel myself becoming less and less attached to the sport and to do so in the year he got his maiden win and was “fighting” for wdc feels so shitty. and the fact is it’s got absolutely nothing to do with lando himself, i will continue to support him no matter what, but the discourse surrounding him, people trying to minimise every achievement he got, the bombardment of hate towards him has been nothing less than disgusting, psychotic and heartbreaking. i used to come on this site and go through landos tag to see if id missed anything he’d been up to and it was something that brought joy to my day, however now i can’t scroll through the lando tag without seeing hate directed his way by people, (who are not only losing a few braincells with their inability to correctly anti tag), who just think it’s fun to wish injury and death on people and dont seem to understand the irony in a lot of their posts. not forgetting the insane lando hate anon, while yes i enjoyed laughing at, would flood lando fans inbox’s with hate anytime he so much as breathed. anytime i go on twitter i see more hate for lando from other drivers fan accounts than i see positive things about their drivers. the anti lando hate train that some people think is cool to be on isn’t. and it just shows how rotten of a person you are if no matter what your supposed favourite driver does the first words out of your mouth are about lando norris and reason 626174 of why you hate him. it’s very telling when people who claim they aren’t fans are more obsessed with talking about him than those who are, i beg you all seek help and get a hobby because this type of behaviour isn’t healthy both for yourself and for others around you to witness.

Okay,

Now I’m seeing arguments on the r/PercyJacksonTV saying that if Thalia was casted as black, that they would find it weird, and mentioned that Annabeth being black was weird.

Rick explained this by saying something along the lines of “anyone can be a hero” and that the books were about “a kid going through high school with dyslexia and ADHD”

Everyone wants the show to be EXACTLY like the book. And that bothers me. Finally, after 20 YEARS, I’m seeing an actual show that’s mostly accurate to the story. And I love it. I was skeptical of the changes at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. I could even see the actors/actresses improving as the series progressed. Especially Leah. She did a good job. The others did too.

God…I just want the hate and negativity towards this show to stop.

Again, I personally find no problems with the DLC except for how Radahn ship came from nowhere and can justify how that comes. But regardless of how many things anyone else dislikes about the DLC: you are valid to hate it as much as you want, but when you start insulting people who loved/accepted/justified the DLC as "media illiterate fromsoft dickriders who keeps coping even after the honeymoon phase passed" and variation I draw the line. There are many ways where other fans can find reason where you didn't and there is potential in new lore that you won't use. Absurd how some people are still willing to support illusory narrative that Radahn Redditor simps are the "worst" part of the fandom when not even at their most arrogant and annoying they can dream to reach HALF of the toxicity cultish Miquella/Malenia fans have, over the awful crime of having different readings, opinions and priorities.

And yes, I know it is inevitable that Tumblr and Twitter fans WOULD make a moral/intellectual/maturity contest out of how people feel about the DLC (🤡🤡🤡), but it hurts when people I actually don't want to butt heads with who start to approve of this mentality. Like, okay cool. Wallow in your elitist toxic pool of Ledas while we, "pathetic dickriders" go and "cope" somewhere else, hope everyone is more comfortable this way 🤦‍♂️ I am tired of getting hurt through endless passive aggression and I have my limits. It is just always hurtful to finally rip the bandage, even IF it is to the better. I need a hiatus for a longer time, albeit for a different reason now

One of the oddest things I’ve seen this fandom do, that irritates me in all honesty, is making jily angst povs and in the comments there will be various comments going “Reggie would never do that”, “And then Regulus swoops in”, “Yeah but Regulus would never say that”, and it’s just like, what???

All of jegulus’ characterization of the two is LITERALLY that Regulus WOULD do that??? Also, why bring up another ship in a different ship video?? I promise you, you guys can just scroll.

It’s also just, if a person were to make an angsty pov where Lily is yelling at James for that godawful headcanon where he asked her out everyday, ie harrased her every day, you’d have at least, at LEEEEAST ten comments saying that Regulus would never do that, and calling Lily unfair and cruel, however if someone were to make a jegulus angsty pov where Regulus yelled at James for NO reason(instead of Lily’s valid one), you’d have an insane amount of comments sympathizing with both of them.

This fandom hates women, it has in it’s roots with Tonks and wolfstar, and it has now with Lily and jegulus.

Mahito hate train

I usually quickly take a liking to villains and jerks in anime and manga (kenpachi, Sasuke, Gojo, Grimmjow, ulquiorra, etc) and I’m also a sucker for morally gray characters but I cannot stomach this bitch, he physically makes me sick every time I see his patchwork bitchface, like he’s one of the first villains I actually truly despise (congrats gege) spoilers ahead

at first I was like “hey, he’s cute” but then he killed junpei and I was like “ok he’s kind of a dick” but then Nanami and Nobara and I absolutely hate him omg I despise that pos and he deserved a much more painful death. Sukuna is actually battling Mahito for that number one spot on my hate list. Free my baby Megumi you two faced bastard
