DTF printing is the process of printing images or text on garments using a special kind of DTF film and DTF printers. In this process, the prints are directly transferred to the garment via a heat press. DTF stands for Direct to Film. It is a new technology that makes sure that the print on your garment will be of high quality and does not peel off after a single wash.

How does DTF printing work?

Apply powder Once the print is taken on the film, cover it with DTF powder evenly. It will ensure that the print will remain on the clothing once it is heat-pressed.

Transfer The film is now ready to print on the garment. This whole process will take a maximum of 20 minutes. Now put the film on the garment and heat press for at least 15–20 minutes for a better result.

Film peeling After successfully transferring the design to the garment, let it cool for some time and peel off the film.

Durability: The DTF printing technique makes sure that the paint will remain for a long time and is of high quality. If the fabric is pulled and stretched, you won’t see the fabric pushing through the print.

No pretreatment: Like other printing methods, including DTG, you need not pretreat your garment for a better result. It reduces your one step and also reduces the time of the printing process.
