Vegetable Centric . We had one meal outside our hotel and choose FnB, a favorite among locals and known for their farm to table menu . It’s a very vegetable forward menu with more items featuring locally grown produce and probably my most vegetable-heavy menu since I dined at Daniel Patterson’s Coi in San Francisco . Portions are quite generous and we were soon overwhelmed with our order of 2 items per person . I’m in Scottsdale, AZ this weekend and the food here is always incredible! Last night, we went for Italian at @tuttisantiscottsdale and it was sooo good. We started with bruschetta with tomatoes, garlic, fresh mozzarella, and prosciutto and then I got the fresh ravioli in a cream and tomato sauce. Everything was so flavorful and the fresh pasta was to die for! Calling all boy moms out there! Raising boys is hard, am I right? I never imagined myself loving a human so much and then feeling utterly confused by them within the same five minutes. Boys are complicated little creatures with big emotions and huge hearts. Mine was born with a love of doing everything dangerous 😂 He will grab tools and run with them, jump from places way too high and for some reason he always has a stick in his hand🤦‍♀️ He gives me heart attacks daily. . Although he’s always active and moving, he’s also got such a kind heart. Always willing to jump in and help clean or carry groceries and give me compliments daily. My boy is wildly mine. . I always say, “If you don’t have a boy, then you just don’t get what it’s like.” Raising a boy in the world today seems like a daunting task. I have to remind myself that this is exactly what God made me for and I’m running into boy-mom life head first. Checking out @themissionaz in Scottsdale. The reviews look good and the menu is described as a broader, more modern take on Latin cuisine. Tonight, for the starter, went with the Shrimp Anticuchos - skewered shrimp, aji panca, oregano, soy & black pepper. And for the entree I went with the Chrorizo Porchetta - pork shoulder, house made chorizo, rosemary, cotija, white bean puree, sweet garlic crema. To accompany the dinner I had a glass of the Eduardo Bermejo Tempranillo from Spain And yes there's a big cross behind the bar! Met the manager Gil, super friendly, and friendly staff overall!
