While rewatching some doctor who episodes, I decided to draw this, I would like to apologize for the bad handwriting, and also, the anatomy and lighting are a bit off but, overall I am really proud of this, so I thought I would share :)

it’s a good thing for the library patrons that you’re in a particularly pleasant mood, which is a rare occurrence at seven a.m., especially on the first day of a new semester. the poor first years are stressed. you’re leisurely as you walk behind the circulation desk, setting your bag down by the chair and settling there with your laptop. it only takes about a second for someone to approach, holding his own laptop in nervous hands.
he does a pretty good jop of hiding that he’s nervous, but it’s clear to you that he feels out of place and maybe even a little lost.
“hi,” you greet him with a smile, inviting him closer and encouraging him to ask for whatever help he needs when he hesitates.
“hi.” he gives a tight lipped smile back, relaxing just a touch. “could you maybe help me with printing something, or…?” he’s clearly unsure if you’re the right person to ask. that’s a classic question, and one that further confirms your suspicions that he’s a first year. (though once you helped a junior print for the first time as a first year yourself last spring semester).
“absolutely!” you confirm, keeping the friendly smile on your face to hopefully put him at ease. “have you been able to connect your computer to the printers at all yet?” you’re pretty sure you know the answer, but ask anyway.
the student, who’s taller than he looks, all folded in on himself, shakes his head sheepishly. “i’m stuck there,” he explains.
“that’s alright. here,” you nod your head towards the nearest printer, standing up and leading him over. he follows, laptop cradled in his big hands. “do you mind?” you ask, hands hovering over the touchpad when he sets it down on the table.
“no, no, of course not. go ahead.” he gives you quick permission to touch his computer, and you spend the next minute explaining and showing him how to connect to the printer. in the system settings, you catch his name. maybe you’re a little curious about him. sam winchester.
he makes the attempt to print out the syllabus for a political science class. and, as often happens, it doesn’t work.
“the printers here sort of suck,” you explain quickly, so that he doesn’t feel bad or more nervous. “sometimes it’s because you’re using a personal computer. unfortunately, i don’t know how to fix that issue, but the tech services desk opens at eight and should be able to help you! if you need to print now, you can head to the computer lab, sign in with your stanford email and password, then select the same printer that i showed you.”
“okay,” he sighs out. “thank you so much,” he says sincerely, looking relieved that there’s a second solution.
“of course,” you smile, then walk off back to your seat as he heads for the computer lab. about a minute later, he returns, looking slightly embarrassed. it turns out that he still can’t quite get it to work. he’s very apologetic for bothering you, but you assure him quickly and easily that it’s no problem at all. he’s so kind and frankly, cute, so you have no qualms with helping him.
the syllabus prints, and he thanks you several times. each time, you assure him that it’s no problem, that you’re happy to help. something about him makes you want to ease his nerves. you hope that your adamant kindness makes a good impression for his first day.
it must have at least a little, because you see him in the library often. then, you see his name in the list of new hires for the library this semester. the next time you meet him is the day that your boss asks you to show him how to shelve books and take inventory. you work together once a week. he’s easily your favorite coworker, and you’re pretty sure that you’re his.

More sketches of Rose and her dads!
-
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Rose was unexpected, but they decided to have her. But having her was rough on Ambrosius' body and rough on both of their sleep schedules.
Tumblr media
(I didn't know I drew them the same until I was almost done with the sketch)
Ballister was unsure of teaching Rose science at first, but after discussing it with Ambrosius and realized that Rose was too stubborn to not do it on her own, they decided that it was better if she at least learned it in a safe environment.
Tumblr media
Ambrosius used to read fantasy books to Rose when she was little, but as she got older, she preferred reading books on space and astrology, which she preferred reading to him and going on long rants about Astronomy and the Jyotiṣa. Ambrosius will sometimes purposefully say a word wrong or mix up a fact, which always had Rose ready to correct him.
(He sometimes does that Dad thing where he'll get a word wrong just to annoy her, like 'libary' (library) (my dad used to do it a lot))

Current follower count is 20. So 020 is Library and Information Sciences.
Library and Information Sciences is a field that researches how Library resources are used and how to organize the system to be efficient. The different library types, what's essential for a library to be a libary. Also connected to Statistics on how people use libraries.
I'm currently working in Logistics so in an abstract way connected and a field I can imagine working in some day.
The last three digits of your current follower count is the Dewey Decimal Classification subject on which you must immediately give a 15-minute presentation.
How would you do?

Lockwood Lepacy (p. 12)
Celeste spent some time chatting with Joel.
Tumblr media
Markus and Clementine did their homework together and Markus was very annoyed.
Tumblr media
Sebastian grew up into an adult and graduated high school with honors. He gained the Kleptomaniac trait.
Tumblr media
After Sebastian's graduation ceremony, Clementine went playing on the swing in front of the house, still in her beautiful formal dress.
Tumblr media
The family decided it was time to move out of the city and chose Appaloosa Plains as their next destination. Before leaving, Celeste visited her sister to say goodbye.
Tumblr media
In the new house, Lucius got his own room to do his little science experiments. His goal was to make his imaginary friend real!
Tumblr media
Out in the backyard, next to the pond, a chessboard was set up for Clementine to practice for hourse in the sun.
Tumblr media
Celeste and Stella enjoyed the first night in their new house with a steamy make-out session on their expensive new bed!
Tumblr media
Markus' birthday came quick and he turned into a Frugal teen!
Tumblr media
He didn't have to go to school just yet, so he grabbed the bass (that he was now finally big enough for) and started practicing.
Tumblr media
After school had ended, Markus went into town to meet some fellow teens to invite to his awesome party, because his moms were away on a sudden vacation!
Tumblr media
Joel's imaginary friend Jelly Bean was pestering him, so he asked it to leave him alone. Jelly Bean wasn't too happy with it, but accepted it nonetheless.
Tumblr media
With their moms out of the house, Clementine and Joel decided to dress up and play pretend.
Tumblr media
Markus didn't know that many people yet, but Maisy Miller and Benni Hennesey showed up to his party and they had a blast.
Tumblr media
Markus and Benni took a liking to each other and headed outside to watch the stars, after which they shared a brief kiss!
Tumblr media
Back from vacation and with the kids in school, Celeste enjoyed a quiet day with a self-made cocktail and a book in her new in home-libary.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Joel and Clementine threw a slumber party for their school friends together and Joel decided to tell them some scary ghosts stories! That didn't face little Dorothy Button at all, even though it might look like it a little bit.
Tumblr media
Clementine stayed downstairs with Cornell Riffin and they had a pillow fight, which Clem definitely won.
Tumblr media
The kids went to sleep at 9pm. Joel looked adorable in his little sleeping bag in the hallway <3
Tumblr media
In the morning before school, Markus was bored and decided he could make some cocktails, just like his mom. He broke a few bottles.
Tumblr media
With the kids at school, Celeste and Stella enjoyed the hot tub.
Tumblr media
To celebrate Clementine's birthday, the family held a small barbecue.
Tumblr media
Markus invited Benni over and asked her to be his girlfriend. Of course, she said yes.
Tumblr media
Stella had sadly missed the barbecue, but she read Clementine a story before bed.
Tumblr media
The next day, Clementine aged up into a teen and got the Angler trait.
Tumblr media
Joel decided to play a little prank on his older brother and called him over to the treehouse. When he finally got Markus to wait under the window, he dumbed a bucket of water on him! Did this mean war?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Joel had an award ceremony for his scouting and the entire family came to attend him receiving his final badge.
Tumblr media
To celebrate, the family went to the Summer Festival and the kids competed against each other in the hot dog eating contest, which Joel won!

Customer Profile (Interview 1)
The first interview focused on the challenges faced by students at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines for our customer profile, which aims to understand their struggles when visiting the library on the 3rd floor of the LRC. One of their main concerns is arriving at the library only to find no available seating for studying. As a result, they either have to search for another location or wait in the designated area for a seat to become available when another student leaves.
So I prepared questions for them to answer!
Interviewee: Jovan Labitad
BSIT - 3rd Year
Tumblr media
1. How does the lack of available space in the library impact your ability to focus and complete your academic work efficiently?
Personally, dili man gyud ko gaadto sa library but base sa akong mga observations. Maka affect siya, usually most of the time mo adto lang mi dadto mag book sa discussion room medyo puno siya permi mga bisag onsa na time. So maka affect siya kay puno perminti ang libary or elibrary man.
2. How often do you face difficulty finding a seat or space in the library during critical study periods, such as before exams?
Most of the time gyud kada adto nako puno gyud siya. Taga labay nako puno gyud siya permi.
3 .What alternatives have you considered when you are unable to find a place to study in the library, and how effective are they compared to studying in the library?
Reflection:
Based on the interviewee's responses, it is crucial for them to know in advance if there is an available seat in the library to avoid wasting time by arriving and finding no space, especially during exam periods when it is particularly crowded. Implementing a system to check seat availability beforehand would significantly help students plan their study time more efficiently and reduce stress during busy times.

Isent trying to inform you or anyone.
This is tumblr.
I just wanted to share a random fact I read about in a book because I love space and science. The post that started all of this is literally a poll post saying something along the lines of "beeing sad Pluto isent a planet" as the last option.
I am translating everything I have read from my mother tongue into English, so my explanation is not the best.
I'm also still legally a child. So most of the research I do is through old libary books and livestreams. (Have been lucky to get a position to see the work of diffrent physicists at Copenhagen university, Nils Bohr institution) as I am still going through the most basics of school so I can start studying astronomy myself. (Starting with a course next year)
As I tried to say. My information may be incorrect. I advice you to try being friendlier wish you have clearly ignored.
But then again. This is tumblr. I'm not expecting much from you or anyone else. Find it quite funny how mad you get <3
And the mast point I made about 1999 was taken from NASA. Here is the link
The first half of the Closing Ceremony of the 2006 International Astronomical Union (IAU) General Assembly has just concluded. The results of the Resolution votes are outlined here. It is official: The 26th General Assembly for the International Astronomical Union was an astounding success! More than 2500 astronomers participated in six Symposia, 17 Joint Discussions, seven Special Sessions and four Special Sessions. New science results were vigorously discussed, new international collaborations were initiated, plans for future facilities put forward and much more. In addition to all the exciting astronomy discussed at the General Assembly, six IAU Resolutions were also passed at the Closing Ceremony of the General Assembly: Resolution 1 for GA-XXVI : "Precession Theory and Definition of the Ecliptic" Resolution 2 for GA-XXVI: "Supplement to the IAU 2000 Resolutions on reference systems" Resolution 3 for GA-XXVI: "Re-definition of Barycentric Dynamical Time, TDB" Resolution 4 for GA-XXVI: "Endorsement of the Washington Charter for Communicating Astronomy with the Public" Resolution 5A: "Definition of ‘planet' " Resolution 6A: "Definition of Pluto-class objects"
@random-potato-mil if you're gonna be a whiny shit baby about science you don't understand, at least be honest about it instead of making shit up.

Did anyone else read the catboy sci-fi short story in middle school where an animal activist implants some weird hybrid embryo inside herself, gives birth to a honest to god catboy and the leaves because she cant deal with the fact that he cant live of off a vegetarian diet, so his scientist father who created the hybrid embryos in the fist place has to raise him alone and it ends with the three year old catboy killing his dad in a game of hide and seek
or was that a weird fever dream I had?
