i know i havent been posting, schools kinda consuming my life. i go to school, then i get home and chill before repeating. but this is a message i need to make.

my school is currently under threat. they investigated and said it was js a stupid kid, but i dont fully believe them because they seemed nervous and it could be something to keep panic low. so yeah. this is such a fun start to the year, under threat of a sh00ting right after what happened in georgia. so yeah, if you never ever hear from me again, thats why.

During third hour at school, there was an announcement at my school for a shelter in place(a lockdown). It was for the whole 40 minutes of thst class. Turns out, some people were threatening my school and many other schools in my city, high schools and elementary schools alike. The district of my school had to call some police for protection incase there was danger. Nobody came, and some random people made it up. I just really think it's fucked up that some people would do that, and my school is a small school, and even worse when people think it was KIDS making the posts. Take care everyone.

I recall saying this before, but it bears repeating:

There could be a billion trans people in the world and it still wouldn't be a bad thing because being trans is not a bad thing. Even if the rate of people discovering they are trans is "disproportionate" to trends from decades ago, that is not a bad thing. In fact, it's a natural consequence for there being more trans people being able to stay alive, and, overall, being able to live in a slightly more tolerant world. The fact that Judaism is trending because of both the wave of bomb threats on synagogues and Bradley Cooper's Antisemitism Adventure (his huge fake prosthetic nose, and him basically stealing the story from a Jewish man) is so infuriating and so exhaustingly typical.

The fact that I see Judaism trending on Tumblr and immediately think "oh no. Something Bad is happening to us." We're never trending cause it's fucking good. I never get to be excited, it's just cold dread.

The fact that Antisemitism is getting worse everyday and the only ones who ever talk about it are other Jews. The fact that no one else fucking cares. The only ones who support us are other Jews. Even when gentiles talk about Nazis or white supremacists they don't want to help us. We're just their prop, the canary in the coal mine and the perfect victim.

The fact that everyone's uncomfortable with Jews still being here. Reminding them of things they'd rather forget.

The fact that it'd be easier for them if we were all dead. Then they could tell stories about our people, dressed in offensive caricatures, without us making a fuss.
