Scar is a famous actor, known for his breakout role as Hot Guy. Rendog doesn't care about super hero movies, only really watching movies if asked to. They've been dating for two years.

Ren is fairly oblivious to Scar's movies, and it's something he's been attacked for. Blah blah, Ren doesn't deserve Scar, Scar deserves somebody that appreciates him and his job, blah blah.

The reality is that Scar prefers it this way. There's enough people that love him for his character, Ren loves Scar for Scar. If Scar asked, Ren would watch all of his movies in a heartbeat. But instead they curl up and watch a romcom.

Some people would think that having your husband be the town's gym leader might cause problems in your marriage, Ren doesn't think so though.

Sure when he and Scar have movie night debates he might give the passing trainer a heads up on Scar's secret finish (it's not as secret as either of them think it is) but he loves his husband dearly and is more than happy to listen as he goes on about whatever battles he endured that day.

Honestly the biggest problem the two have on a regular basis is trying to figure out if it was Ren's rescuemons or Scar's ground team that dug up the yard

At this point they should accept that the yard is a lost cause. But if they don't 'fix' it (it's hardly fixed) then they'll go and tear up the neighbours' yards instead! Which is really not a good look for the town's gym leader.
