Gundham, Nico, Mikako needs to talk to you.
The Demon Banisher wishes to see us?
I wonder why that is.
I'm not sure either, but seeing as you are still recovering from the Concert...maybe I should take the message from Mikako when she comes?
If you must Mind Healer. The siren tunes have weakened my body.
*Sawa looks concerned for Gundham*
Don't worry Sawa, he'll be fine.
Its just the Concert got really out of hand.

Save the Tiger (It'll all be fine...)
(So this is going to be the last part of Save the Tiger. Or atleast the Last Part of the one on Tumblr. Maybe if enough people are interested I'll drop it on AO3 and continue all the way to the end of Chapter 2? But for now this is where I plan to end things. Anyways apologies in advance for the ending, it ain't gonna make a lot of sense but I'm just putting it there anyways)
The morning arrived...
Chiba dusted her hands, bandages wrapped around either arm to prevent sweating or injury this time around. She stood on the mattress, staring up at the ventilation shaft as a small crowd had gathered behind her. Hama and Harada, of course, with Sawa in tow. But also, Okazaki, Ojima, and a reluctant Hiroaki had also gathered to watch her. She smiled at her audience.
"You ready for this?" Okazaki asks, a hint of suspicion in her voice.
"Y-yeah... I'm ready."
"It's been a while since you've practiced. You still remember the protocol?" Hama asks.
"Yeah... I remember. I've been going over it in my head, again and again."
"That still won't be enough, you know?! Why can't we just wait for Chiba's arm to heal?!" Hiroaki snaps.
"You really want to risk waiting another day?" Okazaki asks.
"I... Tch." Hiroaki sits down, Takeshi providing a comforting shoulder pat.
"Good luck, Chiba. I know you can do it." Harada nods affirmingly.
Chiba nods and turns back towards the rope. She takes a deep breath, and jumps up, grabbing a hold of the rope. She takes a moment to get her bearings, before slowly beginning to scale the sheets, giving herself brief stopping points at each knot.
One by one, she scaled the sheets, her hands slipping slightly, causing a slight gasp of shock from onlookers each time. Eventually though, she reaches the final turning point. Taking a deep inhale, Chiba calculates her trajectory briefly, lets out her breath as she builds up the courage... And leaps for the vent.
It's a lot less clean... She slips, her hands clutching and clawing... But... She makes it. She climbs inside the vent, with the small polite cheers.
"Woo! Way to go Chiba!" Harada cheers.
"Hmmhmm... Well done." Okazaki smiles.
"You did great, Chiba!" Ojima calls out.
Chiba smiles down at her friends as she unties the rope from the vent, going instead to tie it around her waist as she crawls through the ventilation. As she crawls, she hears small converationg echoing from the Gym.
"So... Do you really think that vent will lead us somewhere?" Okazaki asks.
"If nothing else, it'll probably lead us to a window. Or something that we can get out with." Harada insists.
"Or Chiba out with." Hama suggests.
"And?! That still leaves the 13 of us trapped in this shithole." Hiroaki counters.
"Ah, shut up. Chiba's a famous star. The first person who finds her will know who she is instantly, and the police will be on their way."
"Sawa, hey! I see you going for the Bedsheets there... Sawa..." Harada scolds.
"I got her." Hama says.
Some annoyed meows echo as Chiba continues further, her mind partially distracted by the ongoing convo.
"By the way, there was something odd I noticed." Okazaki says.
"Huh? Whaddya mean?" Hama asks.
"Kamimura-san... Usually he comes early before the meal and stocks up on food. But he didn't do anything like that today."
"Please... He probably just came earlier than you or stocked up before he went to bed, likely to avoid seeing your creepy ass."
"I'm not that creepy... Am I?"
"Definitely that creepy." Hiroaki interjects.
"You are mildly disturbing..." Ojima says.
"I see..."
Chiba wasn't paying attention much. Maybe that was her mistake. That she didn't pay attention last time... Maybe she should pay attention this time... Maybe if she had... Nobody would have noticed... Nobody would have found it... They could have avoided it all again... But how lucky would she be to avoid that?...
CRASH
Chiba screams as the venting below her suddenly gives way, causing her to spiral down, thankfully, the bedsheet rope appears to have caught somewhere, and Chiba stops, hanging from the vent like a very mediocre spy.
"CHIBA?!" Harada calls out.
"Are you alright in there?!" Ojima asks.
Chiba calls back out. "Yeah! I'm fine! The vent crashed out below me!"
"Oh thank god..." Harada breathes a sigh of relief.
"Wait, the vent came out below you?!" Hama asks.
"All the vents we're aware of are screwed up tight... Where are you Chiba?" Okazaki asks.
Chiba looks around her, and her senses instantly familiarize the room.
"It's the Girls Locker Room. I fell through the ceiling vent just above the stretching mat." Chiba calls back.
"Huh... That's odd." Okazaki hums.
"Well, climb back up. We'll send someone over to fix it so you can continue your journey." Hama says.
Chiba affirms and prepares to climb the rope again... But then... She spots something. A red liquid... Tracing it's way from the side of the mat.
"You know... Fate's a funny thing, isn't it?"
Chiba unhooks herself from the rope, her dreaded curiosity peaking as she hops down onto the Locker Room Floor...
"While any series of events can lead to a Person's death... Any one action is all it takes to end a person's life"
"Chiba?! The rope just went slack! Is everything alright?!" Hama asks.
"Intervening that one single action... That can be what saves your life... Or ends it."
Chiba follows the blood trails, where it ends at a single locker with a simple message on the door. "A special Gift for you!"
"And yet... Fate is a cruel mistress... When you take a life from her... She doesn't take too kindly to losing her prey..."
Her hand reaches out shakily, grabbing onto the locker's door handle.
"So you see... Ms.Airi... When you took initiative... And saved your own life from the hands of fate..."
...And opening the door

Animals are, legally speaking, considered “property” under the law
(this is the reason why animals can be bought and sold—but humans cannot (historically, slaves were NOT considered to be “human” and therefore not granted the same rights and privileges))
So that is the logic why Harada is considered to be one responsible for Chiba’s death (even though Sawa the tiger was the one who technically did it)
//This whole scenario was genuinely one massive avoidable tragedy ^^;
//I said having Sawa here would be a problem, and it was, in a much worse way than I was expecting

BOOK REVIEW: AHH! THAT'S WHAT I CALL HORROR!
by Elizabeth Broadbent, Staff Writer.
The 1990s: a time when, as Devon Sawa’s Instagram recently pointed out, all us beeyotches smelled like sun-ripened raspberry and Marlboro Lights (if you don’t follow @ d.sawa, you should; Tiger Beat has grown up hot and hilarious, way better than his floppy-haired heartthrob days). I have a certain misguided fondness for that before time, during which I wore a crocheted bikini to a Bush concert and spent my days alternately hating high school and smoking pot behind a derelict mall somewhere across the Delaware state line. This baffles me, because in general, I spent the ‘90s as a miserable wreck of a human, but pipe in “Champagne Supernova” and I start wailing along with Liam Gallagher. Go figure. So when Carson Winter tipped me off to an actual anthology of ‘90s horror, I sort of lost my mind.
It lived up to his hype. Featuring fourteen tales chock-full of ‘90s nostalgia, AHH! That’s What I Call Horror: An Anthology of ‘90s Horror, edited by Chelsea Pumpkins, not only brought back the decade (sometimes too vividly), it also included some damn good stories. Win. Channeling everything from the early days of the internet to a zombie Kurt Cobain-ish guy (Soundwave 4eva), this book cracked me up with half-forgotten throwbacks and freaked me out with genuinely creepy moments—often in the same story: hahaha, I’m headcannoning Miss Cleo—then S.E. Denton smacked me upside the head. Someone’s got giant bangs, ha—JESUS CHRIST BRIDGET D. BRAVE, WTF?! God, this Hat Man is freaky—throatpunch from Chelsea Pumpkins!
That’s only stories #1, #2, and #3.
I could continue, but I won’t, except to say to say that “Nona’s First and Last Album Drop,” Edith Lockwood’s contribution, was so painfully true-to-life that it hurt my soul, and unless you were actually cool in high school, and I know you weren’t because you’re reading this right now, you will also cringe in recognition. It will be a good cringe. It will also hurt you.
I once pretended to like Nine Inch Nails and called the lead singer “Fred Reznor,” okay?!
Seriously: for all the nostalgia, you could erase the ‘90s from this anthology, and you’d still have a great collection. While the concept’s a spectacular springboard, and it’s a fun tie-in, and yes it makes everything better, these are damn good stories in and of themselves. I genuinely enjoyed them not just for the Beanie Babies factor, but also for the great plots and the creepy moments. They play with different horror tropes, too, so there’s something for everything—if you yawn at one, you’ll love another. That’s the mark of any good anthology. Diversity’s important; too much of the same will turn off a reader who’s not into a certain niche.
Basically: loved it, bought it, will read it again. In fact, read Carson Winter’s “Alive and Living (Pilot)” and J.W. Donley’s “The Final Away Game” more than once already.
Anyway, here’s “Wonderwall.”

Play nice and have fun!
*After a few hours of play, Sawa seems to have been worn out and is now sleeping*
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
*Hibiki is also fast asleep as well*
Err...Hibiki can you wake up please, its dangerous to sleep here.
Ngghhh eh? Nico...what time is it?
Time for you to go to a dorm and get some rest, unless you are waking up in the real world.
No I'm good. I just got a little worn out that's all.
Still that was a lot of fun! I hope I can do that again some time.
R-right...anyway it seems Sawa is doing a lot better and she hasn't had any of her usual triggers.
Triggers? What are those?
A trigger is a simulti which reminds the creature of something very traumatising in the past. For example, a dog who has been abused by a man, might develop a fear of all men. Or be afraid of loud noises if they were shouted at before the beatings.
And you are saying Sawa has these triggers too? That's so sad...
Yes well...Sawa's triggers are very unusual as it seems she doesn't like the dark.
Which is quite bad seeing how tigers are mostly nocturnal, so I have been working on addressing this. The second trigger and the more unusual one is that weird purple liquid that Kyoji found on her.
He's been studying it for a while now and while he's made some progress there's still a lot of mysteries surrounding it. But the one thing that is certain is Sawa does NOT like the substance one bit.
You said it almost killed her, right? It makes sense for Sawa to be scared of it.
T-that's true but we don't know what it is. And furthermore Kyoji has been acting strange lately as well...so I'm too scared to go near him.
(Just what is going on? What is that stuff and why does Sawa have such a fear to it. And what's going on with Kyoji?)
#danganronpa#dr#kana's christmas adventure#super danganronpa another 2#sdra2#hibiki otonokoji#furry therapist#sawa the tiger cub#hmmmmmm#so what do you think#strange ain't it#also what is going on with kyoji#nico doesn't seem to know#nor does hibiki obviously

somewhat related, but im also really curious about this line. she's talking about how sawa used to visit mitsuru in the hospital all the time.
clearly she pushed sawa away, but why? i wonder if she compared her own inaction to sawa, or if reiko simply isolated herself because of what happened. or maybe she is a tiger mom, lol.
to me, i feel like it speaks to her own levels of guilt. despite hating him before, she only pushed kuwana away when it was to safely detach herself from the murder. considering he feels equally (if not, more) responsible for mitsuru's suicide attempt, i can see her almost being angry that sawa was more attentive and kind than the both of them were
i think kuwana and reiko are very similar, and i don't think reiko is as virtuous as the narrative seems to find her. she feels a lot of guilt with what happened to mitsuru and finds a way to displace her anger. kuwana's attachment to her is just a validation of his own philosophy, her act of killing justified his need for revenge and selfish quest for atonement. and reiko doubles down by victimizing herself in place of her son (see: "what more could you have me endure?" line)
tldr; they are sad and leeching off of each other very hard.

What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.
Both characters have a tragic backstory when they entire family was killed, and both grew up becoming stronger to avenge them. What I like about such anime is that it’s admirable to see a character who went through pain and suffering but emerging stronger as he or she discovers their true self while learning to overcome present challenges with the baggage of the past which is not easy.
I read the book ‘Legends of the Samurai’ and realized that quite a number of historical figures such as Uesugi Kenshin (Nagao Kagetora) had a tough childhood before he became known as the fearless Tiger of Echigo in his adulthood, able to defend his homeland and defeat stronger warlords like Takeda Shingen and Oda Nobunaga.
When Kenshin was a child, his father went into battle but only to be betrayed and ambushed. With the army in disarray, Kenshin’s eldest brother took control and during the power struggle, Kenshin’s elder brother was killed and Kenshin became the next target as his eldest brother sees him as the next threat to his succession. As a result, he was hidden in Rinsen-ji temple where he spent his childhood years alone without a family, studying Buddhism and martial arts.
Several years later, Kenshin reunites with his father’s old friend, Usami Sadamitsu, along with a few other loyal supporters of his late father. The reason they suddenly decided to find Kenshin after all these years is because his eldest brother, Harukage, had become a warlord, tearing the province apart. At first, Kenshin was reluctant to fight his own brother, even though his brother tried to kill him as a child and is believed to have killed his elder brother.
Realizing that he has to take control of the province before it was destroyed by his brother, Kenshin finally agreed to wage war and succeeded in wresting control from Harukage and eventually became the head of the family clan of Nagao Clan, a retainer to the Uesugi Clan at the mere age of 19 years old.
Later, Kenshin provided a refuge to a lord, Uesugi Norimasa (Uesugi Clan), who fled from the expanding Hojo Clan. Kenshin later became his heir and changed the name from Nagao Kagetora to Uesugi Kenshin becoming the Lord of Echigo. Then two more lords requested help from Kenshin to defend their homelands from the expanding Takeda Clan. Realizing that Echigo might be the next target, Kenshin agreed to fight the war on two fronts, against Hojo and Takeda.
They underestimate Kenshin due to his young age and inexperience as a Lord but soon learn he is not someone to be trifle with. Even though he had no experience waging war outside of his province, he had proven capable in defending on his own turfs. Unlike most of the lords at the time, Kenshin had no interest in expanding his territory or becoming a Shogun like the ambitious Oda.
This is why Uesugi Kenshin remains my favorite Samurai of all. Because in an age where Samurai are ambitious for lands and titles, often times, letting power get into their heads and stepping over honor for greed, Uesugi Kenshin is one of those rare Samurai who remembered his place and why he became a Samurai. Perhaps because his hardships and his time with the monks during his childhood years shaped him into a better man than the others.
I recommend the film Heaven and Earth which is about Uesugi Kenshin. The actor’s portrayal of the character is excellent that I cannot see anyone else acting the role as the character is just as what I imagined him to be when I read about him.
