Unfortunately I currently don't have the motivation to draw out my ideas for Afterlife AU. Which is hilarious because this seems to be a purely Afterlife issue lmao.

But if you'd like a clearer answer, it's on an indefinite hiatus!!! I don't know if I'll continue or not! I think about it from time to time, but I don't know when or if I'll draw them out, Sorry. I very much appreciate how much you guys liked it tho. Afterlife AU was the first comic I publicly posted anywhere so it's been really fun!!! I feel a bit guilty that I strung you guys along then just dropped it when I didn't feel like it. But oh well, that's just how things are sometimes!

-hufflepuff (begrudging)

-has been trying to convince McGonagall that he in fact belongs in Ravenclaw. Has been trying to convince her of this for the past 8 years.

-one time he tried bribing her with cat food. No it didn't work it was -5 points for Hufflepuff.

-he got held back a year and crashed the Fuck out for a week. (This is accurate to his original lore)

-so horrendously bad at everything relating to magic that people mockingly call him squib.

-some sort of weird friendship formed with Mako.

-7th grade. Feels pretty unfulfilled.

Masuhiko Minakami

-Slytherin (nobody there likes him)

-but Slytherin common rooms are uncomfy so he breaks into the Hufflepuff common rooms on a regular basis. (nobody there likes him either)

-consistently gets in trouble for trying to use offensive spells on other students

-almost got expelled for using crucio on someone. He was allowed to stay due to unknown reasons and somehow did not go to jail

-has a reputation. /Neg

-pureblood, parents are currently in Azkaban for being death eaters.

-7th grade was a grade below Ru when they met. They're in the same grade now tho! Hurray!

Calliope Andreadou

-Gryffindor (does not really care that much)

-half blood. Mother is a muggle, but she has awareness of magic.

-she's overall more in touch with her human side tho.

-Parents originally wanted her to go to a different school. She went to Hogwarts out of rebellion.

-she sneaks in electronics to school. Somehow she's figured out how to make them function for a short while. It's a work in progress but her 15 minutes is better than none. Likes being experimental with magic overall.

-gets detention for talking back to professors. Her and Mako are acquainted due to that. And by extension Her and Ru are also acquainted.

-6th grade

Emily Beaufort

-School Nurse (the old one retired)

-pureblood. Graduated from Ravenclaw.

-deeply beloved by the staff and the students

-her son and daughter are currently attending Hogwarts. They avoid the clinic like the plague.

-acquainted with Mako due to all the spells he tests on himself

-also acquainted with Calliope because she visits her when she's skipping class

-Knows Adeline, Peony, Kang-min and Michelle from past years.

Cecil Agbayani

-they're a squib, not allowed to attend Hogwarts. (Ignore how you could still technically learn to make potions and fly brooms!!)

-pureblood. Parents work somewhere important probably. Idk I haven't decided where yet

-Even tho they're not allowed to attend, they didn't want to leave their "sister" by herself due to her anxiety, so they've decided to become a nurse's aid!

-Gets along well with most people!

-Ru and Calliope are their acting older siblings. Mako is the middle child that's been banned from doing anything else.

-Gets along very well with Emily! They're always eager to learn, so it's fun for them to ask questions and have Emily give an unnecessarily long answer.

Michelle Durchdenwald

-Intern Herbology teacher

-Graduated as a Hufflepuff not too long ago from Hogwarts

-Generally sweet but tends to be a bit clumsy. So when she's teaching she tries to be extra careful to not accidentally send anyone to the nurse's office.

-Adeline's best friend since 1st grade. They can be spotted having butter beer together.

-has had a thing for Kang-min since 3rd grade and has been trying to confess for years. This irritates Adeline.

-Knows Ru from their Hufflepuff days. They used to be closer but they've seemingly drifted apart.

Adeline Arcangeli

-Intern Transfiguration teacher

-Also Graduated from Hogwarts not too long ago. Except she's a Slytherin.

-Extremely gifted when it comes to magic and spells. She outclasses the actual class teacher. She however does not care too much for her job as she only wanted to come back because Michelle was going to come back. Her parents are too well off for her to even pretend to care.

-Michelle's best friend since 1st grade. She was immediately smitten the moment Michelle came up to her and made casual conversation.

-Michelle's crush on Kang-min annoys her to no end. So much so that she's been sabotaging all of her confession attempts. (Yes she's as toxic as she is in canon)

-knows of Mako. Does not care.

-knows of Calliope. Does care because Calliope likes to use her transfiguration magic to fuck with people and Adeline finds that hilarious

Kang-min Ale

-Gives flying lessons

-He's always been gifted at Quidditch. Between coming back to Hogwarts and graduating he became a very famous seeker for a while, which undoubtedly helped him get a position as a teacher instead of an intern.

-completely oblivious to Michelle's crush on him. Like pshhhh She's his homie what're you talking about

-Has a Rivalry with Nazan because in 4th grade they broke his friend's leg in an altercation.

-Half-Blood. Dad's muggle born, mom's pureblood.

-He's low-key scared of Calliope

Kostyantyn Kovalenko

-Astronomy Professor at Hogwarts.

-Muggleborn

-Also graduated Hogwarts as a Gryffindor, tho that was a long time ago.

-Consistently tries to ask Emily out on dates. Emily does not reciprocate, but she finds him fun so she humors him.

-Your eccentric professor who's probably high on the job.

-Tries to make his classes more interactive and fun to entertain his students, and most importantly, himself.

-Loves reading muggle comic books and mangas. He's picked up some mannerisms from them as well.

-Loves Cecil, they're comic book buddies!

-Gets along with Peony because they're both theatrical people. They like to gossip over tea in Peony's classroom after hours.

Peony Johnson

-Arithmancy Professor at Hogwarts

-Graduated as a Slytherin not too long ago

-Despite not being much older than Adeline and Michelle, and not having a special talent like Kang-min, she was allowed to teach due to a shortage of prophets.

-She encourages her students to present the prophecies in an interesting and mysterious way to build atmosphere. She cares more about the presentation than the actual prophecies.

-She consistently slacks on the job.

-She's friendly with Calliope due to their mutual interest in fashion

-You'd think she'd be scared of Mako or something but sike it's actually the opposite. One time Mako tried to hex her but she punched him so hard he was in the infirmary for days. He's fond of her but there's an underlying sense of dread

-Pure blood

Nazan

-Defense against the Dark Arts professor

-Graduated as a Gryffindor

-nobody really knows what they were up to in between graduation and being a Professor

-Ironically most students fear them more than the dark arts themselves 💀

-Aware of the hatred coming from Kang-min but ignores it.

Alina

-Ghost! She haunts the dining area and sings as background music!

-she doesn't really do much besides that tho

-Very sassy. She makes paintings argue with each other for shits and giggles

my bad if i missed smth lmao but are those character you drew in the tetro style your ocs? cause i really really like their designs, esp the one of the ultimate traceur,,, im curious about them…..

They are in fact; my OCs! I drew them cuz I wanted to see if I could imitate Tetro's sprite style lmao. I have a cast full of them! Tho I don't use them a lot, I've decided to call them Tetro Teal (because there's already an AU named Tetro Green)

Anyway, I'll share some info about them!

The Ultimate Clarinet Player is a bit of a classist. She acts polite but she clearly doesn't have that high of an opinion of other people, it's pretty easy to tell once you talk to her lmao. Though, she isn't whiny. She has a high opinion of herself because she's confident in her capabilities, so she'd rather rely on that instead of making it someone else's problem

The Ultimate Traceur is a silly guy! I originally wanted him to be the ultimate sidekick (he was basically going to be a volunteer assistant. Does that make sense?) but I thought it might be more fun for him to be a Traceur! He's a daredevil who loves to get himself in and out of dangerous situations.

Aaaand the Ultimate Collector is a bit of a weirdo, her parents are rich and they have a pretty big mansion. But said mansion has been rendered unlivable because she puts everything she collects all over the place. She wants to keep and collect whatever she can! I believe a more accurate term for her would be a preservationist. She makes an effort to take care of the things she collects so they're in good shape!

I never got around to drawing him, but Student 4 is the Ultimate Chef! I'll maybe give more info if I draw him
