I wanted to make an au where it's like Underfell but for TADC where everything is edgy and I kinda got an idea (it's 1AM so maybe this is stupid)

The (Amazing) Digital Circus was a happy and bright place but then Pomni is evil and stuff 😱😱😱😱😱 scary guys and then she le epicly corrupts everyone else eXCEPT Ragatha was immune to the corruption (because obviously I'd have the two characters who I ship contrast.)

Pomni essentially takes Caine's place as the ring leader, but he's like. Co-ringleader (idk how to word this.)

(Pomni x Ragatha will be a thing in this obviously (no it won't be abusive))

Once again it is 1AM so maybe this is the dumbest idea ever and I'll realise that in the morning, we'll see.

so i've been trying dark souls

i tried remastered of course, played a bunch then got frustrated and deleted it

then my save file got corrupted when i reinstalled it so i started from the beginning

got a bit further then i got bored and deleted it again

it's so weird because i love the classes, i love the stats page, i love trying different items and managing the weight and all of that. i even like some of the music, namely the title theme and i freaking teared up when i first arrived in firelink shrine

i also like some of the npcs, some of the areas, some of the enemies, and some of the bosses (that i havent actually fought but ive been watching a lot of videos). and though i've heard a lot of people don't like the movement at least in the beginning, i actually think it's fine as long as i keep track of the weight of the equipment

but. some is the key word. because everything else does not work for me. in the 25 hours i played i've gotten better at the combat but it never clicked, the areas i've spent the most time in i don't actually like, i don't feel like i want to know more about or see more of the world, i have nothing to say about the level design, and the most common enemies are just annoying, especially considering how frequent ambushes are.

also of the three bosses i've fought so far i haven't liked a single one. i don't like their appearance, i don't like their attacks, and i absolutely despise their arenas. i get that one of the core parts of the game is learning patterns but how do i do that when i don't like fighting these enemies and bosses.

i don't know, it's weird. it's like my fifth time trying the game and it's the only time i got out of the tutorial but after 25 hours i still don't feel like i 'get' it. that should be enough time to see if a game is not for me but who knows, maybe it's just not for me right now. maybe i'll have to try it again in the future.

i'll probably end up trying sekiro and perhaps even ds 3 before that though. i'd include elden ring as well but potato laptop :(
