#okay. let's process together #why did i feel so annoyed when my mom said that the pictures i was posting on insta looked a little boring?#(it's not like a picture of me it's just some book and crochet stuff(#but here's the thing. i have no idea how i'm supposed to do better than that #sometimes i'm actually enjoying myself on insta and othertimes i really feel like i am not cut out for it #cause if i'm taking a picture of something it's so people can see the thing i am taking a picture of #i 100 percent understand the mindset of wanting an aesthetic picture that looks really nice #but i usually don't know how to execute that #sometimes! but not always #usually not.#and like. in that case i would ask the people in my family who are actually good at this stuff for help?#but i want to be able to do it myself because i don't want them to have to do even more stuff for me #and yeah okay fine YES it is another taking up space thing #but like #ugh #i don't know how to fix this #instagram is kinda fun and cool but it's so not me when it comes to posts #i hate videos and pictures of myself #and visual art is not my thing #and i feel a little lost and confused and i just want people to read my book so i can make enough money that i don't have to get #a horrible normal job #and i don't want my stupid relatives to be right and i never wanted to do instagram in the first place #and the money i saved up from my old job is running out! and i'm a little scared!#and i have a wedding coming up #and stuff is just. ugh. it's not the worst but it sure ain't the best #probably i need to pray and ask God for help instead of posting on tumblr #(in my defense i wanted to process my emotions)#anyways if you made it this far pray for me?#i've been trying to not freak out about all of this for a while but it's kinda pushing its way out now #which i hate. it's just all a lot

wanna start getting my nails done again in the new year but i also have been thinking a lot about finally getting hair extensions because i’ve wanted them for forever and i now work right next to a salon that specialises in them soooo. ough. why does it all cost so much money though im gonna cry

#i think i’m gonna start getting my nails done again im so sick of them constantly breaking whenever i grow them out to how i want them #(4 of my nails have broken this week i feel insane)#and then maybe in the spring/summer i’ll get extensions .. depending on the cost lol #it’s not thaaaat much about the length and more so i wish my hair was thicker .. and a bit longer but mainly thicker lol #possibly in time for frankie’s wedding in the spring hmmm (hi frankie)#because then .. i will have beautiful hair and be a hot bridesmaid yes ok #but yeah all of this is depending. i just got a new bed i wasn’t planning to buy a few weeks ago #and then im getting my tattoos in january !! and im going to have to try and save to move out so.. hmm. a year of saving my money #and looking cute ??? hopefully . anyway i’m rambling a lot in the tags bye

i have helped with the weddings of several people i love very dearly who just wanted 'a few simple homemade touches' and inevitably what this means is people running around for weeks lying through their teeth when the to-be-married couple ask if it's been any trouble

#a family friend of ours wanted to save money on decor and was like oh can u make some strings of paper cranes for our daughter #do u guys remember that post about how people actually like to be inconvenienced for people they love #anyway #we made & strung together literally thousands of paper cranes #it was all we did for weeks like. we would wake up folding cranes and go to sleep with paper in our hands u know gfhljh #like WE knew but she did not understand how many strings of cranes you would need to fill a venue #if you got an actual company to do this for you they would have rightfully charged you at least a grand easy #ANYWAY i think we did our job (hiding and lying) well enough that they genuinely thought #this was just a casual afternoon for us #they were really grateful and happy tbc #we just kind of didn't want them to know what a batshit thing they'd asked of us bc they wanted this so badly and they would not have let #us do it for them if they understood the actual request they were making #anyway. it was a lovely wedding i loved doing this even though it was crazy

The emotional rollercoaster of the last 15-ish hours has been. A lot to deal with 🙃

Illustration contest woes -> sick cat -> no sleep -> vet we wanted to visit has no doctors on schedule today????? -> clinic they recommended takes walk-ins -> sick cat examined and they think maybe he has an internal blockage of some sort -> REALLY EXPENSIVE -> missing work after I got a whole talking-to about my attendance -> still have a tiny wedding to plan -> NO MONEY

#i have no money and i want to cry #or ok. i have maybe $500 in savings rn #and I'll get paid tomorrow #but they need payment now and it's $1000+ and I'm still behind on my health insurance payment #and yknow what I'm happy the front yard already looks creepy and terrible bc even if i decided on a low effort halloween wedding #i DEFINITELY cannot afford any extra decorations lmao #mom barely has anything hell she's only getting money bc of social security so like.#haha. this sucks

genuinely fascinated by the notes on that wedding post like. the people saying they simply will not feed their guests. the people saying they will have good food but no catering. the people saying they'll have a destination potluck wedding. this is so terrible. this is the way L and light would run their wedding. like 'nice day for us, elaborate torture ceremony for everyone else.'
