wasn't the waifu the last few episodes of zero-one, and the movie was that eden guy and hellrising hopper or whatever?

Ok, let's break this down for everyone because it's really funny. Aruto, the MC of kamen rider 01 has a robot secretary waifu named Iz. They have an AI in a satellite called Zea, which provides Iz with intel to support Aruto. The villains, Metsuboujinrai.net, are robots who serve The Ark, and want the extermination of humanity. The Ark is an AI made to help people and guide humanity, but a techbro CEO named Gai Amatsu, who is kind of like Seto Kaiba, injects The Ark with 'the evils of humanity' and takes control of robots to destroy a city. In the show's opening, Iz has a moment where she becomes evil for a second, eyes glowing red, the telltale in-show sign of someone being taken over by The Ark. This was in there because 'it looked cool' and not thought about it. Then COVID happened, and there were like 4 episodes of recaps in a row as they worked out the plot of the rest of the show as there were new restrictions developing. The Ark (no physical person form still, it just sort of exists digitally and in a little core in some ruins), then suddenly has it's own robot secretary, Az. The Ark steps into combat to eliminate Aruto by hijacking other robots with the Ark-Zero form, and is defeated by kicking it's ass with the new 02 form and then replicating the ending of Robotics;Notes DaSH. Az, now without a master, walks around with fancy Ark Gear, taking advantage of people with emotions in turmoil to somehow turn them into a new coming of The Ark, one attempt is the tv series finale (which rules), and then the film (which also rules), and then in her third attempt she gets shot and killed by some guy and the story ends. - AND THEN THE GOOFY CROSSOVER, 'GEMNS: THE PRESIDENTS' HAPPENS. Gai Amatsu gets a robot secretary, named Rin. Y'know, because Aruto has one. We skip a bunch of details, but Gai and Kuroto Dan have a fight over who will be in charge of the company. And The Ark suddenly takes over Rin. Because the Ark is back now, because it is just 'pure malice and will never go away'. So Gai teams up with The Ark. And Rin is just The Ark Vessel now. AND THEN OUTSIDERS HAPPENS. THE ARK IS NOW A PROTECTOR OF HUMANITY. THE ARK BORROWS THE BODIES OF BOTH HOROBI AND RIN BECAUSE SURE WHY NOT.

yes, exactly! and i totally agree on arc tilting his head about it, it'd be super cute... i think it could happen if he bumped into a satellite like zea or the ark. and aruto should absolutely get to meet the big alien, maybe it'd give him some enrichment.

although, i wonder which out of the two would be more inspired by the other, because i feel like both of them would come out of it incredibly inspired.

A young CEO of his family heritage with a bright heart and a pun master. Despite what anyone would might think that there’s no way a kid his age could manage such a company, Akira Hiden managed very well! His determination and kindness that he inherited from his grandfather was the drive to keep a promise; to keep peace between the sentient androids (that his company, Hiden Intelligence, created) known as the Humagears and humans. He makes sure that both sides were happy, by speading positivity with his puns (albeit a bit bad) and putting adoptions with tests and requirements so the Humagears don't fall into the wrong hands and lived with people who would treat them equally. One of the many reasons he felt that the world was not yet ready to be introduced to them and rather stay in Tokyo (and some other parts of Japan) for now. Akira has a close secretary type Humagear partner named Izu, who has been his family’s companion for years. She has always been there to guide and help him though his troubles. Akira nearly had a panic attack when Jeff Tracy unexpectedly paid visit to him, knowing of his status and power. But he didn’t realized he and Izu has being immediately adopted by the old fox afterwards.

For his Rider System, Progrisekeys was in use. They are chip\card like devices he can insert into his Driver that grants him the ability based on the animals on said trinkets (ex: his main form, Rising Hopper). His Driver however, is fully granted to him alone as Zea (a satellite containing and managing the data of all Humagears) is authorized to do so, so long as he is the current active CEO of Hiden Intelligence.

Kamen Rider Zero-One: Magia

Magia are robots from the 2019 Tokusatsu television show, Kamen Rider Zero-One. The last few posts I’ve made have talked about beings that either start out as a human, or have features that question the category they are in. With that being said, this is the first one that is a single type all of the way through. Magia are the byproduct of a different type of robot present in Kamen Rider Zero-One called Humagears. While this post is not focused on Humagears, I will give a brief explanation as to what they are. Humagears are a type of android that are built to accompany humans and to be purchased to complete tasks. They operate under the guidance of an artificial intelligence named Zea, who resides in a satellite. However, the villain faction of the show, named Metsuboujinrai.net, are able to corrupt Humagears with ideas of malice and change what once was a cheery and helpful robot, into a more dangerous one that’s full of bloodlust, a Magia. To become a Magia, a Humagear must be using an object called a Zetsumerise Key, and insert in into a belt called a Zetsumeriser. Each Zetsumerise Key is themed after an extinct animal such as a Mammoth or a Dodo. As such, a Humagear will turn into a Magia that is themed after the respective extinct animal. As opposed to the beings I’ve reviewed so far, the Humagear cannot necessarily be saved when turned into a Magia. They are robots, so they can be rebuilt, but the consequence is that they will forget the moments they have shared with humans since they were built the first time, which the actual show builds upon greatly. Magia do not really possess any unique features that make them any more than a vicious killer robot (those belong to the Humagears), but what they do possess is a very nice contrast to Humagears. Just when we think AI is helpful and nice, Magia remind us of the risks there are to developing AI, should it be led down the wrong path...

Growing Path to Change(overclocks)

It had been meant to be a meeting for a partnership. The AI firm Hiden Intelligence with the tech company Stark Industries. Pretty much every newspaper had some kind of headline about jumping to the future ready to print as soon as the deal was signed.

The young man in the hoodie doesn't seem to match the idea most people have of a CEO. But he has crossed the ocean to meet with Tony Stark and will do anything to ensure that this meeting goes off without a hitch. That apparently also means ducking out with thirty minutes before the meeting as he had received a report of some kind of attack happening a few blocks from Stark's operation.

When he sees the man in the rhino suit, he's at least relieved that this isn't one of his Humagear AI gone rogue. But there's still a bodybuilder in a rhino suit charging through the streets.

He slaps a belt on his waist and summons his armor from the ZEA satellite, in a newly minted quick mode. Not every villain lets a hero like him go through a full transformation sequence.

"All right, Rhino-man! There's one thing in this world that can stop you, and that's me! Kamen Rider Zero Two!" For the moment, that's what he believes, but of course, this little fight has an audience.

Aruto (probably): You flub a rider kick once and its immortalized! I flubbed my first Rider kick!

He flubbed a Rider Kick, after the knowledge of how to execute said Rider Kick was downloaded directly into his brain by Satellite Zea. Some of the Riders didn't have benevolent artificial intelligences helping them figure out how their powers worked and they managed their first Rider Kick just fine!

Happy 2022, everyone!

I can't exactly say I look forward to being forced to use Ninpo as an alternative energy source because of certain economy-related internet technology completely fucking us over so that art thieves, corporations, and stupid people can make money, but hey! That's (maybe) September Tsuki's problem for when he's gotta liveblog Kamen Rider Shinobi! Anyhow, it's been a couple of weeks, but it's Revice time!

Spoilers, I guess...

-Oh boy, he's hiding something! I'm trying to act surprised but like... he's a person of authority in a tokusatsu program, I figured out he was evil the moment he came on screen.

-Ohhhh, Sakura, you're ok! Good! I guess you didn't wanna see what was in the creepy glowy green basement, and I don't blame you.

-Oh yeah, apparently Chameleon Man is like an actually notable figure? Played by him, at least. I just assumed he was some guy the casting department pulled off the streets, but he's Japanese comedian Ayumu Kato, who some of you may remember as the "Impossibru" meme guy. I never found it very funny myself, even in my less aware days, but it's aged even more poorly than a lot of things from the dark age of memes that was the early 2010s, and if I were Kato-san, I'd probably just duck out of the media entirely.

-Burning in the flames of hell like a true demon. And for such a noble cause too.

-So that's the Volcano Vistamp. It looks very cool, I like the little knob it has.

SHRINKING HOPPER: SECOND PREVIEW

Days after Aruto tested his new Progrise Key, Izu, the CEO's humagear secretary, tirelessly looked after him and asked Satellite Zea for help. The data from the satellite couldn't find any solution for Aruto's miniscule condition, but it gave her the expert's information and contact details. She contacted another CEO and a scientist from the United States and sought for his help.

Just then, Mamoru the humagear security guard, assisted and welcomed a bespectacled and bearded blonde man in his late fifties to early sixties. He was wearing a dark brown business suit with a white shirt and a purple tie underneath. He brought a suitcase,  entered the CEO's office and looked intently at Izu.

" So, you must be Izu, President Hiden's secretary? " he calmly spoke to her.

" Yes, Dr. Pym, " she politely replied and bowed at him. " It's a pleasure to meet you in person. "

" Likewise. How many days did he remain in that condition? "

" It's been three days, sir. "

" So, where is he? "

" He's on the observation table inside the lab. He has been living in that open jar. "

" An empty glass jar of pickles, I take it? "

" Yes, sir, " she nodded.

" Take me there. "

Izu aided Dr. Hank Pym and opened the Hiden Intelligence secret lab access as they both headed onto the stairs. Just beside the humagear models, there was a vacant white table where Aruto or Zero One peacefully remained inside the jar and saw his android secretary and her visitor.

" President Aruto, we have a visitor, " she said and carefully released her armored human boss from the jar.  " This is Dr. Henry "Hank" Pym of Pym Technologies. He's going to help us in your condition. "

Aruto intently looked at the visitor as he was in shock and starstrucked to see him. Then, he happily exclaimed in his tiny squeaky voice, " Hank Pym, the Original Ant-Man!! I have heard and read more about you!! It's great to see you so BIG!! "

" It's an honor to meet you, President Peepsqueak, " Pym sternly replied. " You accidentally shrunk yourself, I take it?! "

" President Peepsqueak?! You've gotta be kidding me!! "

" This is how I call you from now on. "

Pym took out his magnifying glass and intently eyed on the CEO and armored superhero. Aruto got frightened to see the other CEO's eyes, zooming out and slowly stepped back. Izu noticed her boss becoming uneasy.

" Izu, Doc, what the hell are you gonna do to me?! " he yelped in fear. " I'm no guinea pig! "

" President Aruto, please calm down. He's having a look on your condition, " she said with concern. 

" Take it easy, President Peepsqueak, " Pym added. " I just need to find out what went wrong with that device and then how we could deal with your state for the meantime. "

… Which… Actually is not surprising, now that I think about it. Her attitude seems to be ‘didn’t think that would happen, but honestly, just goes to show humans are worthless hypocrites.’ Which is… Valid.
